Muy amables y solìcitos.Mi experiencia ha sido muy bonita. Estube reciéntemente con mi esposo y pedímos un cambio de habitación por necesitar una habitación con ventanas a la calle y apenas pudieron nos dieron una habitación con vista a la calle y más espaciosa. Durante una simple conversación comenté que cumplirìa an̈os durante mi.estadia y llegádo el dìa tuvieron un detalle muy bonito e inesperado.que me alegró mucho ya que ese dìa no me sentia muy bien. Realmente todo hotel deberia contar con un personal asi de atento y servicial con.real interés de dar el mejor servicio al huésped.. El área es hermosa, bastante segura algo muy importante para mi. El hotel necesita algunos arreglos quizas estéticos en pequen̈os detalles por ser un hotel antiguo, ,pero la limpieza es lo más importante.a mi parecer. La estación Gloucester road esta a pocos pasos.2 minutos de distancia connbuenas conexiones directas por ejemplo a Kew gardens. Al frente esta la iglesia de Saint Stephen muy bonita para visitar. Recomiendo mucho el hotel. . Creo que por ser un hotel antiguo necesita algunos retóques.y remodelación.Pero al final del dìa llegar a una habitación limpia y con personal amigable y servicial hace la experiencia cómoda y disfrutable.
• Jonathan (8/5): A nice hotel in a great location - 100 yards from Gloucester Road Tube Station - clean but dated - Nice friendly staff, the room was larger than expected for London which tends to be on the very small side of things. The whole is a little dated , but clean and tidy - nice breakfasts for both continental and full english. Would recommend for a low mid range price point (for London prices) Decor could have been updated and the aircon unit was very noisy . Could have done with some plug points or USB points near the bedside tables

• Fabio (1/5): - Solo la posizione Ho prenotato l’anno scorso, quindi con tanti mesi di anticipo. Ci ero già stato altre volte in passato. La prima vokta ci hanno sistemati in una camera sotto il piano stradale (a -1), la seconda in una camera che aveva vicino un locale tecnico, quindi molto rumorosa. Visti i problemi precedenti avevo scritto all’hotel mesi fa segbalando anche che uno degli ospiti soffre di claustrofobia e quindi di non darci camere sotto terra. Avevano risposto che lo avrebbero evitato ma al nostro arrivo, per l’ennesima volta veniamo sistemati sotto terra al piano -1. Alle mie rimostranze l’addetto alla reception non ha mostrato alcuna empatia nè interesse reale a comprendere la situazione. Ha solo detto che ai piani alti c’erano soggiorni più lunghi. Ma se me lo avessero detto per email avrei fatto scelte diverse cambiando hotel. Quindi ancje la notte successiva nessuno ci ha proposto cambio di camera e siamo dovuti rimanere sotto terra (con un rumore di fondo costante derivante da un vicino locale tecnico e conbuno degli ospiti che non ha dormito non riuscendo a respirare bene in quanto soffriva quel tipo di sistemazione essendo claustrofobico. Quindi ci siamo sentiti presi in giro e non alloggeremo mai più in questo hotel.

The room we booked was nothing like the photo advertised in booking.com. We had to ask to be moved. Then we were only given one towel between us. Then the shower was useless. Only trickled.

• Mihaly (9/5): Charming interiors, convenient location and attentive staff made this hotel a great choice in London - The hotel is located in a civilized, clean, and elegant neighborhood by London standards. The Gloucester Road Underground station and a Waitrose supermarket are conveniently situated just across the street, while Hyde Park and the Natural History Museum are within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Both the room and bathroom were clean and well-equipped, and we especially appreciated the refrigerator and the EU-standard power outlet. As constructive feedback, which did not affect our overall rating, we noticed that the toilet flushed somewhat weakly and the tank refilled rather slowly. In addition, the air conditioning unit in the room appeared as though it had not been cleaned for quite some time.

• Jacqueline (6/5): A hotel which is in a fantastic location but avoid the basement rooms and restaurant. - I didn’t have breakfast but ate in the restaurant for dinner. The food was good albeit quite expensive but in London that’s what you would expect. We were told we would have a 15% discount off of the meal which they didn’t take off the bill at first. We then had to add up our bill as it seemed a lot more than we thought and there was a £15 difference! Whether this was a genuine error I’m not sure as this was a hand written bill So we did not give a tip as they had already put that in without showing it. Waiters hung around as well when we did this which was uncomfortable. Also because if this we didn’t get the full 15% discount! Also the room was in the basement which I wasn’t keen on but it was clean and comfortable.

• Laura (5/5): Narrow Room, so much door didn't open fully and noisy. - Great location and reception staff seem friendly. The room was tired and dated, there wasn't enough room to open the door properly and the room was on a slant. It was very narrow and right outside the window was the extractor fan for the restaurant which was noisy. The bed was to firm that I woke up with a bad back.

• Victoria (10/5): Highly recommend - The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom even had a bath what a bonus. The location of the hotel was spot on just out of the tube station and you’re there. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the breakfast menu looked lovely, maybe next time. Just one little thing, our window over looked a store room and of course people have to work . It was a little off putting but it didn’t spoil anything for us.

Ich konnte gut schlafen. Das Frühstück - kontinental wie auch das English Breakfast - ist lecker. Die zentrale Lage ist spitze. Der Aufzug ist nichts für Menschen mit Angst vor kleinen Räumen. Der Wasserdruck ist niedrig. Das ist nicht unüblich für einen Altbau in London, aber die Dusche Zuhause gefällt mir besser ...

The buffet breakfast is extremely limited so if you want a proper breakfast you're forced to pay extra on top of what you already paid for breakfast.

• Alicia (10/5): Charming London Hotel with a wonderful staff! - The staff were very friendly and were very available. The location was great as there was a metro station 1/2 a block away that took us everywhere we wanted to go. There are also many tourist locations close by that can be explored on foot. They also had a nice restaurant attached to the hotel and also had breakfast there. Off the lobby they had a little bar that offered cocktails. The rooms were smaller than what most people would expect coming from a USA hotel but we knew that going in. The rooms had an electric tea kettle ect. A wardrobe type closet. Desk, nightstands, table with 2 chairs, tv, phone, fridge , And a luggage stand with drawers underneath. And air conditioning! The bathrooms could use some updating. But we’re clean. New shower heads ect. And bathroom was on the smaller side. But fine. The rooms were comfortable for us.

• Lena (6/5): Top Lage, aber etwas renovierungsbedürftig - Top-Lage direkt an der U-Bahnlinie vom Flughafen Heathrow ins Stadtzentrum. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte definitiv mal renoviert werden. Das Zimmer war winzig, aber zum Schlafen ok. Leider sehr laut, mit Ohrstöpseln aber auszuhalten. Frühstück ok.

There was a double and a single. It was a bonus to have a bath and plentiful hot water. The reception staff were very pleasant. The view from the room was of air con units. The door opened immediately onto the stairs so it was hazardous on leaving the room (114). The fridge never got cold.
