Guest Reviews
- Alistair Watson (8/5): - Perfect ly adequate and vfm
Off street parking - free! Not much
- Gibbons (10/5): -
- Philip (8/5): All good - Clean, quiet, comfortable bad, good wifi, good for public Transport. A bit of a drive to get a Pub Meal. Shower over bath rather than shower recess.
- love (7/5): -
- Stevie (1/5): Hood rat - Rien. C'est de la merde littéralement Tout. L'emplacement, l'odeur, les employés, tout. C'était tellement mauvais qu'une plainte au council a été fait.
- Paul (9/5): - Great budget friendly option.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Samuel (10/5): Brilliant, very satisfied - Easy and clean Nothin
- Miss D Bowden (4/5): Not for anyone wanting 3* upwards.. - There was no bar or restaurant. Areas of thr room were not clean. Unsure how well the electronic locking system works on doors as we had some very merry guests who were locked out their room next door & our door opened in the early hours when they couldnt get in.
You get what you paid for but, it advertised differently to what you get in reality. It was more like student digs for crashing after festivals rather than a cheap stay for anyone coming to Leeds for the first time; no frills etc. But the advert said different to the experience.
- John (8/5): Clean, tidy room with en-suite included. - Artin & Razor were very friendly & professional.
Plenty of tea, coffee & milk provided.x It’s not the quietest of areas to stay, but the location isn’t their fault.
Could’ve been because of the BankHoliday though.🤔
- Younes (1/5): - Location. Not clean, curtain broke left us vulnerable and privacy invaded. We had to cover the window with our clothes.
- Kim (1/5): dump, unsafe, would not feel safe going back there late at night, infact we left and still waiting for re fund - nothing felt unsafe area was terrible and no privacy a rotten old blind at window and wardrobe door coming off furniture was a disgrace area was horrendous photos nothing at all like photos on booking.com, awful smell everything about it was awful and felt so unsafe
- Endurance (7/5): - Yes, location was good Cleaning of the external environment
- Hutchinson (8/5): - Friendly staff close to local shops easy access to city centre
- Faisal (3/5): -
- cook (6/5): -
- Louise (1/5): Crap - The price Paper thin walls, people shouting, not being able to sleep all night
- jane (6/5): - Convenient for our needs
- Jordan (1/5): Stay here at your own risk staying in your car would be better it is a vile place - Nothing to like about this property. Literally zero Room smelt of smoke, loud and very dirty
- Ross (3/5): Friendly staff . Unexpected guests stationed outside my door - Location / very helpful and friendly staff . There were police outside my door all night . The person in the room next door had police protection . The radios and noise kept me awake most of the night. I couldn't leave as it was late . I just had to lay awake until work. I was exhausted all day .
- David (4/5): Room was tiny with a minute bathroom and shower that was just about usable but would not have been for a person of large - Nothing It had absolutely nothing I could describe as even satisfactory let alone even acceptable.
- Jack (3/5): -
- Yvonne (5/5): Somewhere to lay your head for 1 night - Room need re painting and odour was not good in the rooms.
- Casey (1/5): awful - This hotel was shocking more bugs in the than I'm a Celebrity get me out of here!! The room was disgusting i have photos, left my number for the hotel to call the back but no call.
- Kip McGrath (3/5): - The Staff member was very helpful and Polite. He was the only good feature of the stay. Pillows, Duvet smelt of sweat and grime.
- Lily (7/5): -
- Fk (10/5): Perfect place - Everything
- Linden (3/5): - The staff and a bit of the view
- Deep (1/5): -
- Nathan (5/5): -
- Akhimein (10/5): Great staff , great place ! -
- Craig (3/5): A place to sleep in - Staff were proactive and accommodating Front door to property does not lock
Room needs redecorating and appliances could do with replacing
Shower screen did not fit correctly so water splashes onto floor
- Paul (1/5): Paddy1436 - Nothing would score it o if I could Rooms are like a morgue very cold aand clinically basic ( and I mean basic ) the first room i was given blinds did not shut properly the beside lamp plugged in behind your pillow bathroom lights did not work properly quilt was as thick as a postage stamp. Got moved to another room 😌 this room was still very cold, although it was a double and a single i could actually take the quilt of the single you did have a bedside lamp on the table under the TV you didn't have a bedside table to actually plug the lamp in to .they did provide you with towels to have a shower with ( after you have sent an hour in the room trying to get it to heat up ) the best thing to come out off my experience off the rooms was the fact that there was not a bar. restaurant or shish bar as what was advertised i went to the local shop got some cheese and bread to make a sandwich as the towels came in handy to grate your cheese they were that rough ALL IN ALL WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN HAVE STAYED IN LEEDS MANY A TIME OVER THE LASTS FEW YEARS THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN

- Daldar (1/5): - No comment It was false advertising, on my email it said luxury room! There was nothing luxury about this place. To be honest I got anxious and exictaty and I didn't want to stay here but had no choice. The bathroom was disgusting and smelt of urine and I was actually vomiting. I took pictures of this so called luxury room!! My car is more hygienic than this room. I would like a full refund for my horrible stay ASAP. I will never recommend this place and never return here. The owners as business owners need to update their rooms or advertise it as a hostel or a cheap stay !! Not luxury accommodate. Normally I have a relaxing morning but on this occasion I couldn't wait to leave !! I didn't even shower or make tea. I went to a greggs for tea and breakfast. I have pictures if you need
- Zara (8/5): - Staff were very lovely and they have a really cute doggy!! The pillows were very flat
- matthew (6/5): -
- Temesghen (7/5): -
- Wiśniewski (8/5): -
- OLABISI (5/5): - We didn't bother to request for breakfast due to the presence of the dog in the dining area. The external part of the hotel looks appalling and unappealing. To add insult to the injury the room was without heating, even the cleaning staff wanted us out before 11am for her to be able to carry out her tasks contrary to check-out times in other hotels.
- Sid (9/5): - Cleanliness , good location for me, would stay again. The Weather.
- Arthur (8/5): -
- Arthur (8/5): Value for money - Friendly and helpful staff at reception, good vale for money N/A
- David (7/5): - No issues
- Keira (8/5): -
- Alice (8/5): -
- Kazia (10/5): -

- Peter (1/5): Never again. Thin walls could hear every other guest. Very small single room - Did not do
- Nomthandazo (3/5): -
- Donna (1/5): - There was nothing posirive to say abour it
- Paul (5/5): Ok for a cheap overnight stay. - Handy for our purposes near to hospitals
Inexpensive
Clean room
Friendly helpful staff Noise both internal and from road adjacent.
Basic facilities with some omissions in essentials
Scruffy external appearance
Steps and stairs. Not accessible to the disabled or impaired.
- Shirley (1/5): Bad experience disappointing - I did not the place on arrival dirty carpets it doesn't look like a hotel i was just disappointed at the the Reception on arrival The Staff at Reception when I ask him the pictures we see on booking.com and what am seeing now is disappointing he immediately told me to refund me i told him I didn't say am leaving am talking about the place I've booked were do you expect me to book another accommodation at this time, am I not allowed for comments?very disappointing I wrote to them around October and requested a Fridge there was no Fridge they were getting it from upstairs room than they told me not to switch the fridge on for 30mins because of the gas ,I did not complete my stay have to leave on Sunday instead of Monday dirty mattress and thin old pillows and thin blanket thrink linens dirty place regrettable
- damien mckeever (9/5): - Great value handy for a bus to the city
- Peter (5/5): -
- Caryl (4/5): - Situation Room Smelt of cigarettes and quite noisy
- terry (7/5): - The hotel was good value & the room was tidy & the bed was comfortable. Don't let the guy at reception offer to book you a taxi. They must use a certain one that didn't turn up after 40 mins of him saying five minutes, ten minutes etc.
Got an Uber in 4 mins.
Although it says it's a hotel & restaurant there was not a bar as they were separate places.
- Yaser (1/5): -
- Agnieszka (5/5): -
- kirsty (9/5): Great value - Clean comfortable room, comfy bed and pillow, had a great night's sleep. Owner very accommodating and friendly. Close to city centre but in a quiet area. Great value for a short stay. Few cosmetic issues, e.g no bath plug, needs privacy film on bathroom window and blackout blind or curtains in bedroom. Small issues for owners to rectify but didn't affect our stay.
- Rachel (6/5): - Very friendly staff, happy to help rang a taxi fir us, good location, cheap room, ok for 1 night stay Beds very hard, blinds at window did not close properly, no plug for sink or bath
- Dayo (4/5): Noisy location. Pleasant staff though - Good car parking facilities for such a central location There were no hand towels in either room during our stay. We had booked 2 rooms. We only had one bath towel per person and no other towels whatsoever, especially hand towels after washing one's hands. The main problem that we had though were how noisy the hotel was. The walls were thin and it was halloween night so a lot of going ons. I kept waking up with a start each time there was a loud laugh or raucous discussion outside our bedroom door
- Magdalena (7/5): Good for your short stay. - Clean bed sheets, TV , and kettle in the room with free tea and coffee ☕️ , free parking on the back of the hotel. Good value for the price, good for one night of two when visiting Leeds. It's not perfect. Old dated bathroom, broken heater thermostat in the room, broken window blind and not very well sealed window - wind and cars sound. But u get what u pay for, with the price like this we were expecting that.

- Bhavesh (10/5): Very good - Staff are good n downstairs good family restaurant. I’ll definitely visit again.
- Ola (10/5): -
- stanway (1/5): WIPE FEET ON WAY OUT - nothing at all. bed bugs. dirty. what was there to like? it was overpriced and unhygienic. won’t be returning
- Ndhlovu (9/5): Enjoyed my stay - It was clean and staff was friendlyand bed was comfy
- cecilia (10/5): -
- Andy (6/5): Functional… a clean and comfy bed for the night -
- Gary (2/5): -
- Wiśniewski (8/5): -
- Matt (8/5): - Helpful staff People in next room very noisy at 4am slamming doors
- Naifat (10/5): -
- ashrafian (5/5): -
- Parsons (1/5): - We were booked for 1 night 19th-20th September. When we arrived (around 5pm) we were told to sit & wait in reception as there was some work being done. The reception was not in the least inviting. We went to get something to eat & never returned We never got as far as our room but the lack of cleanliness in the reception area was enough to put us off. The place absolutely stunk of curry, there was junk all piled up to one side in reception & it looked really tatty & dirty. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.
- Stuart (1/5): did not stay as we felt unsafe - The hotel was in a very moody area, did not feel safe rubbish sacks cleared away in car park , staff not smoking substance
- Stemby (4/5): Staff so good and tried their best but facilities not good value for money - Staff so friendly and willing to help Windows had no double glazing so traffic noise was bad
There was loud music in the restaurant so struggled to work
Door in my room had a large space under it and I think i saw something crawling in !
- Adrian (7/5): -
- Charlotte (1/5): Terrible. Do not stay here . - The location was fine . However it is no longer acceptable as a hotel due to the way in which the staff run the facility and their management of guests I felt unsafe . Unassisted . There was a wasp nest coming in to my toilet and no one around to help. There was banging and shouting throughout the night and the supposed 24 hour staff did nothing
- john (10/5): Nice, accommodating staff -
- Thokozani (1/5): I had to check myself out same time and booked a proper hotel for the night as I was very tired - Booked but didn't stay, the place had a strong smell that gave me a headache, noise from the next room ,room very cold, mattress dark marks and a very thin bed sheet without a mattress protector showing dark marks on the matress. Everything from the place calling themselves a hotel when they are actually a hostel, contacted Booking.com about the place and asked for my money back, the response was the property didn't respond to my claim.
- Gearóid (6/5): -
- Lyndsey (2/5): - Comfy bed Took Lad to newcastle and had nite away on way back. Under impression has somewhere eat and drink however didn't . Alot work being done and alot half finished things in rooms. No plug for sink or bath . Exposed wires and holes in room. Fair enough you get what pay for however deserve a safe and completed room
- Lee (3/5): Cheap city stay - Good location, automatic entry system, clean linen Room decorated but not very well, dirty carpet, chipped furniture, broken/missing fittings in the bathroom, no curtains (just broken ill fitting blinds)
- Benjamin (6/5): -
- Ricky (1/5): I wouldn't allow my dog to sleep in these rooms, let alone humans. - The best part was leaving with the knowledge I never have to stay there again.
I liked the look of the hotel on the website, when I paid for my booking....but there are NOT images of the scruffy and substandard hostel-like squatting rooms I arrived to.
If you're happy to pay money to get ill, I can't recommend this shithole enough! Firstly, no bar and restaurant and there hadn't been one available for some time.
The cheap basic metal bed.
The broken shower.
The mold (yes, the MOLD)
The complimentary unsealed bottle of water.
Realistically, don't stay here and don't advise anyone that you have even an ounce of respect for to stay here!
- BARRY (7/5): N/A - N/A N/A
- Reginald (1/5): we couidnt bring ourselves to stay. - there was no breakfast and we didnt as the place was just not clean enough to stay. smelling reception and entrance poor facilities, undressed bed. very dirty and torn carpet.
we just couldnt bring ourselves in staying at a place like that. so we left we didnt as the place was just not clean enough to stay. smelling reception and entrance poor facilities, undressed bed. very dirty and torn carpet.
we just couldnt bring ourselves in staying at a place like that. so we left. it was like and HMO with a few rooms left for guest.
its should be removed booking.com
and the picture they have put up are deceiving. it most likely very old pictures becaue the place dont look anything like that.
