• FOUGEROUSE (10/5): - Dès notre arrivée à l'aéroport, un chauffeur nous attendait pour nous conduire au riad. Nous avons ensuite été pris en charge par Abdel, personne très sympathique et accueillante. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer ce qu'il fallait voir aux alentours. Le riad était très beau et à proximité de la médina, des souks, du coeur de Marrakech. Nous pouvions tout faire à pieds c'est ce que nous recherchions. La chambre pour 3 était très propre et aux couleurs locales. Nous avons rencontré Françoise et Julien très accueillants également. Le petit déjeuner était composé de produits frais et était copieux... un point d'honneur à l'excellente marmelade faite maison par Françoise.
• Christoph (10/5): - Wer eine gemütliche Unterkunft inmitten von Marrakesch sucht ist hier genau richtig. Im Riad Dar Kleta wird man bereits mit "Welcome Home" begrüßt, und das beschreibt das kleine Riad perfekt. Die Gastgeber und das Personal sind äußerst freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die Besitzer Julien und Franciose, sowie Samir nehmen sich immer Zeit für ein kleines Gespräch und geben wertvolle Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Marrakesch. Man kann auch Ausflüge buchen und wir machten eine Heißluftballon Fahrt zum Sonnenaufgang, was absolut empfehlenswert ist und man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte! Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und vor allem die 3 Terassen und der Innenhof mit kleinem Pool laden zum gemütlichen Sitzen und Entspannen ein. Eine ruhige Oase mitten in dieser wuseligen Stadt! Wirklich zu empfehlen ist zumindest einmal ein Abendessen im Riad, es gehörte zum Besten das wir in Marrakesch hatten. Wir fühlten uns extrem wohl uns im Riad und sollten wir wieder einmal nach Marrakesch kommen, werden wir sicher wieder hier wohnen!

They told us a lot about the area and made us feel familiar with everything. The riad itself was absolutely beautiful, with lots of nice spots to just relax and chill.

• Gordon (10/5): Excellent retreat very close to all the sites -easy walking distances - Wonderful quiet retreat from the bussle of the souk gorgeous courtyard and our room was cool and comfortable we slept really well - staff excellent and we really felt very well treated. All good Nothing really the Riad grows on you the longer you are there we were sorry to leave after 3 nights. Like most Riads you need to be able to climb narrow stairs easily.
• Elizabeth (8/5): Very good location and outstanding staff - The manager Abdul, was outstanding, very helpful, respectful and kind. The lounge area on the second floor was very lovely. And having a bedroom on the main floor without dragging suitcases up stairs was a treat!! Very well situated, you can walk anywhere in the soul and central. Make sure to call the hotel when you arrive so Abdul can come and lead you to the hotel. Loved our stay there, the breakfast was also very good Liked everything!
• Davide Sante (8/5): Esperienza più che positiva - Il Riad era davvero splendido, così come i suoi abitanti ovvero gattini e la tartaruga Raffaello. Colazione varia e buona, personale molto gentile, disponibile e simpatico, esperienza più che positiva. La camera era luminosa e pulita. Forse la parte più scomoda dell'esperienza è stata che per andare in bagno bisognava salire delle scale strette e ripide, inoltre non vi è alcuna porta e dunque l'isolamento acustico e non, non è ottimale. Inoltre non c'erano sufficienti punti d'appoggio per valigie, giacche e chincaglierie varie.

• Laetitia (10/5): Excellent séjour dans ce riad à proximité de tous les lieux touristiques - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce riad situé en plein cœur de la Médina et à côté des souks. Tout était au top : le service est impeccable et tout est fait pour qu’on se sente bien, du début jusqu’à la fin. Le personnel est adorable, toujours disponible, souriant et attentif au moindre détail. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe et aux propiétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil chaleureux. Le cadre est magnifique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et d’authenticité. Notre chambre « Sahara » était très confortable, propre et décorée avec soin. Le petit déjeuner était incroyable, copieux et délicieux, un vrai moment de plaisir chaque matin. Mention spéciale pour les adorables petits chats qui apportent une touche encore plus chaleureuse au lieu ❤️ Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Alex et Laetitia

C’è un’atmosfera meravigliosa: intima, calorosa, rilassante. Che dire ci siamo trovati eccellentemente! Ringraziamo Abdel e tutto lo staff per il servizio impeccabile e la loro estrema disponibilità. Stanza pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. Tra una doccia e l’altra potrete farvi anche un self hammam!
• Therese (10/5): Perfect. - The location is within the medina and because the derb is too narrow for cars, an employee met as and accompanied us to the riad. The riad was an oasis of calm. It is beautiful, very clean and very comfortable., Abdul welcomed us with tea, maps, and tips for sightseeing and was available for all of our needs. We arrived after a very long journey and were very glad to have arranged for dinner at the riad. It was plentiful and one of the most delicious meals we had during our stay in Morocco. Breakfast was also delicious and fortifying before beginning our day exploring the medina. Would most definitely highly recommend a stay here. The hosts couldn't be more accomodating. Everything was great.

• Sarah (9/5): Wonderful experience and we will look forward to returning!! - The people who run this riad (Abdul Sa'ad, Fatima and the cook whose name I forget) are some of the friendliest and kindest people ever. They went out of their way to welcome us and take care of us during our 4 day stay, from providing maps and recommendations, setting us up with transport to and from the airport, making reservations at a fabulous hamman, and serving fabulous breakfasts and the biggest plates of couscous you could imagine for the one dinner we had there. Sa'ad even stayed up until 2:30 am to walk us to the closest place that the taxi could get to, when we were departing. Very centrally located in the heart of the medina and a quiet oasis from the energy of the streets and souks. The interiors are charming and filled with gorgeous Moroccan art and antiques. Given how small the roads (pathways, really) are in the inner medina, a taxi will only get you to within a 5-7 minute walk of their door, but Sa'ad met us to guide and carry our luggage both ways. Not ideal for anyone with mobility challenges or strollers, but I would say that for the medina in general.
• Alexandra (9/5): - Wir haben sieben Nächte im Riad Dar Kleta in der Medina von Marrakesch verbracht – und was sollen wir sagen: Es war einfach wunderbar. Die Lage ist ideal, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Direkt bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich begrüßt, bekamen Tipps und eine kleine Einführung in die Stadt. Von der ersten Minute an fühlten wir uns willkommen und wie zu Hause. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an Samir und Rabia, die mit ihrer herzlichen Art unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, wie selbstverständlich und hilfsbereit sie waren, als unser Koffer zunächst in Madrid hängen blieb. Ohne zu zögern wurde uns Hilfe angeboten – sei es mit Kleidung, Schuhen oder allem, was wir brauchten. Diese Unterstützung war nicht selbstverständlich. Jeden Morgen erwartete uns ein leckeres Frühstück, liebevoll zubereitet und serviert. Die Unterkunft selbst ist eine wahre Oase inmitten des trubeligen Marrakesch. Mit einem kleinen, aber feinen Pool zum Abkühlen, wunderschöner marokkanischer Einrichtung und verschiedenen Ebenen, die zum Entdecken und Verweilen einladen. Besonders die Sonnenterrasse mit der Möglichkeit für Yoga oder einfach nur zum Entspannen war ein Highlight. Unser Zimmer war einfach aber stilvoll eingerichtet, mit vielen liebevollen Details und einem authentisch marokkanischen Flair. Bei kleineren Problemen wurde nie gezögert – wir wurden ernst genommen, und es wurde sofort nach einer Lösung gesucht. Auch bei der Planung und Buchung von Ausflügen bekamen wir kompetente Unterstützung. Diese Unterkunft war für uns viel mehr als nur ein Hotel – sie war ein Rückzugsort in einer manchmal überfordernden, aber faszinierenden Stadt. Uns wurde ein Zuhause versprochen, und genau das haben wir bekommen. Wir können diesen Ort sehr weiterempfehlen!
• Petr (10/5): Authentisch marokkanisch, einfach großartig!! - Das »Riad Dar Kleta« war eine wahre Entdeckung. In der Altstadt von »Medina«, mitten im Trubel von Marrakesch, findet man hier eine »Oase der Ruhe«. Ein super schönes Riad – die Zimmer, der Frühstücksraum, der Hof oder die großartige Dachterrasse. Davon Mal abgesehen, punktet »Dar Kleta« mit tollem und sehr zuverlässigen Service. Angefangen bei dem Besitzerpaar »Julien und Franciose«, über das grandiose Personal, kümmern sich alle sehr liebevoll, um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Ob Tipps, Organisation von Ausflügen, oder dem »Flughafen-Transfer« alles Tipptopp! »Dar Kleta« hat definitiv zu unserem tollen Urlaub in Marrakesch beigetragen. P.S. Das 3-Gänge-Abendessen, dass die eigene Köchin zubereitet, war ebenfalls ein absolutes Highlight! Sehr zu empfehlen!
• Chandra (9/5): Beautiful riad, cleanly, friendly staff, walkable to the souks - My first riad stay, it was so lovely for the staff to come pick us up from the airport at 2am much more convenient than trying to find our own way through the Medina. Staff was very hospitable, yummy breakfast every morning, a great experience! The only thing was that it was a bit loud since we were right beside an alleyway where people would go through very early in the morning (3am and 6am) with their luggage I found it a bit difficult to sleep but that’s not any fault of the staff and I think most places located in the Medina would have the same issue.

• Sophia (10/5): Perfect for us so charming with utterly delightful staff too - It was a beautifully designed authentic space with incredible charm. It was comfortable and was exactly whet we were looking for, an oasis of calm and beauty away from the busy souk.
• Mati (6/5): A whimsical bohemian stay - It was wonderfully bohemian with birds, turtles & cats in the courtyard and epic rooftop spaces. It was likely the wrong choice and room for me and my 75 & 80 year old parents. Up a rickety 3 story wooden spiral staircase. The bathroom of the triple was the entrance to the room with no privacy and a curtain to separate. While it was close to the souks, the path to the riad was down several dark alleys. I’ve been to Marrakech 10 times so it wasn’t challenging on that front, but with elder parents or new to Morocco travelers, may not be the easiest spot. The staff helps you to and from the riad the first and last time to .your transport.

• Véronique (10/5): Authentique, chaleureux, confortable - Magnifique Riad au cœur de la Médina avec un accueil des plus chaleureux. Toute l’équipe est aux petits soins. Emplacement idéal, à 5min à pied du Souk. Nous avons voyagé avec un petit de 2.5ans et c’était super de pouvoir facilement rentrer au Riad dans l’après-midi pour se reposer un moment avant de ressortir. Attention néanmoins pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, demander d’être dans les deux chambres au rez qui donnent sur le jardin, car l’accès des chambres à l’étage se fait via un escalier en colimaçon étroit et escarpé. Ils proposent également un super service pour l’aéroport à 20€ le trajet tout compris. Je ne peux recommander vivement ce Riad.

All the staff we so attentive and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make sure I was safe as well walking to and from the riad at night. Beautiful little oasis away from the chaos of the souks. The interior is beautiful, very picturesque and a calming vibe. The staff welcome you as if it’s your home, I plan on coming back and bringing my family! Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Kelta. Nothing to fault.

El desayuno es muy bueno, la habitación limpia y la cama cómoda. El riad es bonito y el ambiente transmite paz y buena energía. Quizás la escasa insonorización de las habitaciones. Se escuchan los ruidos de los vecinos..y quien habla en el patio. El precio un poco elevado tratándose de Marrakech.. Aún así volveríamos por el bien ambiente y el trato recibido.

• Luisa (10/5): Sehr Empfehlenswert - Das Riad war in Marrakesch wie eine Oase. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Die Besitzer waren sehr zuvorkommen und aufmerksam. Die beiden Schildkröten die dort leben sind total süß.

• Anke (10/5): Im Zentrum der Medina - Wir sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen worden und haben viele hilfreiche Informationen erhalten, welche Sehenswürdigkeiten in der nahen und weiteren Umgebung liegen. Das Riad ist im ältesten Teil der Medina gelegen, Vergangenheit und Gegenwart treffen aufeinander und wurden sehr geschmackvoll vereint. Unser Zimmer bot sogar eine Klimaanlage, falls es einem doch einmal zu heiß werden sollte. Auch außerhalb des Zimmers gibt es sehr hübsche und gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten auf mehreren Etagen, nicht zu vergessen der abkühlende Pool im Innenhof. Zwei Schildkröten, Katzen und Wellensittiche leisten einem Gesellschaft und tragen zur tollen Atmosphäre bei. Klare Empfehlung: Abendessen im Riad! Auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen - es wird unglaublich lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! -
• Tamara (10/5): - Estuvimos tres días en este riad y fue una experiencia maravillosa. El lugar es precioso, muy bien cuidado y con muchísimos detalles. La atención fue inmejorable: tanto las dos mujeres que trabajan allí como Samir nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El desayuno estaba increíble. El último día incluso nos lo sirvieron antes de la hora para que pudiéramos llegar a tiempo al aeropuerto y Samir se encargó de pedirnos y acompañarnos al taxi. Un servicio y una hospitalidad excepcionales. Sin duda, lo recomiendo al 100% y volvería encantada.

The atmosphere in the courtyard is delightful with a lush garden, plunge pool with small fountain, two wandering tortoises and a cage of birds. The rooftop has a range of beautiful places to relax. Our room was comfortable and conveniently located off the courtyard. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the challenge of navigating back each time. Such a convenient location. I would thoroughly recommend this charming riad. There is no aircon but a very quiet and efficient fan was all we needed. The walls are thick and the lower levels are thus beautifully insulated. Maybe in the height of Summer this might be worth considering.

• jose64 (9/5): Super à refaire - Super accueil de Samir de très bons conseils que nous avons suivis notamment concernant les restos et nous avons très bien mangé à Marrakech. nous sommes parti très tôt le dernier jour (6H) et ils nous ont quand même préparé le petit déjeuner pour 5H30 et Abdel nous a accompagné pour récupérer notre voiture au parking sécurisé tout près du riad recommandé aussi par Samir. The accommodation itself was divine — every room beautifully decorated and spotless. The terrace is stunning, perfect for late afternoons. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. Samir and the staff were the highlight of our stay. The breakfast was fresh, modern, yet still kept the Moroccan tradition alive. Samir stood out not only for his professionalism — providing us with valuable tips and guidance on everything, and assisting us with tours and meeting points even at early morning hours — but also for his human side, which truly touched us. Always kind and polite, Samir’s way of treating others was remarkable, and I sincerely hope to see him again. 10/10. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about Riad Dar Kleta.
• Felicitas (10/5): - Eine echte Oase zum Wohlfühlen!! Sehr liebevoll gestaltet!! Die unterschiedlichen Sitz- und Liegebereiche laden zum Entspannen ein. Wir wurden rundum gut versorgt und haben auch das sehr leckere Dinner eingenommen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Die beiden Katzen, die Vögel und die Schildkröten, einfach schön!! Ein echter Pluspunkt war für uns, dass wir von diese Unterkunft einen Fahrer für eine private Rundreise vermittelt bekamen. Wir können den Fahrer Soulymane absolut weiter empfehlen!! Der Weg zum Riad ist sehr abenteuerlich, man vermutet zunächst nicht, dass sich diese Oase in der dunklen Gasse befindet. Die Lage ist allerdings super zentral. Kein Kritikpunkt, nur gut im Vorfeld zu wissen.

• Jose Manuel (10/5): - Das Riad ist wunderschön mit viel Liebe zum Detail! Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum und der Innenhof mit den kleinen Pool ein kleine Oase (mit zwei Schildkröten, in die sich unser Sohn verliebt hat). Danke auch an Samir der uns sehr viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und uns sehr liebevoll betreut hat!!! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage ist auch perfekt! Mitten in der Medina= alles über einen kurzen Spaziergang erreichbar und Parkplatz nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Ich Empfehle Euch einen Kofferträger beim Parkplatz zu nehmen, damit Ihr die Unterkunft nicht lange suchen müsst (etwas versteckt, musst durch einen Tunnel durch)! Diese sind auch sehr freundlich und führen Euch sicher zur Unterkunft. Nichts, war alles Super! Werden das nächste Mal die selbe Unterkunft nehmen.

• francisco javier (10/5): Vivir en el corazón de la Medina - Íbamos 4 parejas, con lo cual el riad estaba entero a nuestra disposición, y Samir, el encargado, se desvivió porque todo estuviese a nuestro gusto. El desayuno excelente. Recomendable 100% sobre todo si vais 8 con lo que desde las terrazas de arriba hasta el jardín de abajo es todo vuestro. Nosotros compramos bebidas y por la noche después de todo el día pateando Marrakech era nuestro momento de relax. Es inevitable que si vas al corazón de la Medina te líes algo para encontrar el riad y que a las 6 de la mañana el muecin te despierte con su llamada para la oración. Pero insisto, es inevitable y forma parte del encanto de Marrakech.

• Scott (9/5): Beautiful riad and great host. - The riad was beautiful and had lots of different areas to relax. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. When we arrived, the host Samir gave us tea and biscuits. He provided us a map of the area and explained the medina, he also wrote his number down in case we got lost. We were also recommended restaurants. We had an early check-out and Samir got up early to ensure we had a breakfast before we left. Really nice riad and lovely host. Google maps was a little difficult to follow to find the riad initially. Some signage along the way would be beneficial.

• louane (10/5): Séjour très agréable, vous pouvez faire confiance au Riad Dar Kleta les yeux fermés. - La localisation en plein cœur de la médina, proche de tout. Le calme du Riad, les pièces de vie communes : rooftop, terrasse, salon marocain… Le personnel incroyable, d’une gentillesse rare : toujours présent si besoin (même par téléphone), Samir a su nous guider et nous donner des conseils pour rendre notre séjour incroyable. Sur demande, il vous aide à trouver des activités. Par exemple, nous voulions faire du henné avec une professionnelle locale : il a fait venir une amie à lui pour nous le faire au Riad. Petit déjeuner traditionnel très très bon. Les chambres sont propres, spacieuses et décorées avec goût. La piscine est agréable lors des grosses chaleurs. Si vous prenez la navette de l’hôtel, Samir vient vous chercher directement au niveau du taxi à votre arrivée. En bref, une vraie perle rare.

• Maurizio (10/5): Riad accogliente e pulito a un passo dalla medina - Se si viene in Marocco, bisogna soggiornare assolutamente in un riad! Una nota a favore della struttura è sicuramente l'ospitalità: la disponibilità è di casa, siamo stati aiutati al 100% in tutto, anche in attività che non riguardavano il nostro soggiorno al riad (esempio: gite organizzate con altri). Colazione top, servono la colazione tradizionale marocchina, con qualcosa cucinato anche al momento e tutto fresco comunque. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di fare colazione anche l'ultimo giorno, quando ci siamo dovuti alzare molto presto. Quindi check out alle 7 del mattino con annessa colazione. Una chicca apprezzata è stata la presenza di sapone nero marocchino nella doccia. La piscina del Riad è molto carina e vivibile, poiché il Riad dispone di sole 4 stanze ed è verosimile trovarsi da soli in piscina. L'atmosfera è molto bella. Costa un po' più di altri riad ma è un prezzo che si può pagare vista l'offerta e la qualità. Pulizia davvero ottima inoltre. Si sono un po' dimenticati di noi quando siamo arrivati in aeroporto, tuttavia siamo stati contenti di pagare il transfer alla fine, perché la struttura ci ha conquistati e siamo stati accolti con tè e pasticcini, oltre a tante spiegazioni sulla città e una cartina per orientarci meglio (non facile nella medina).

• Dave (9/5): Marrakesh is a vibrant colourful city, with Riad Dar Kleta an oasis in the middle of the Merdina. - A wonderful tranquil retreat in the middle of the Medina. Of the 5 nights we were there, we spent one day chilling inside the Riad and in the evening, Françoise cook for us. Her cooking was excellent. There are numerous terraces in the Raid which are peaceful and relaxing. All the staff at the Riad were wonderful. Nothing too much. Polite and accommodating. There was nothing we disliked about this Riad.

• Mitzii (10/5): Amazing riad in a great location, with amazing staff! - We loved everything! Communication with the property was extremely fast, Samir helped us arrange a cab from the airport very last minute. The Riad is STUNNING! The pictures don't do justice to how pretty it is. I love interior design and every little corner of the riad was so thoughtfully designed. There are many different areas and terraces to chill. The room was good size and very clean. We stayed two nights and our room was cleaned and fresh towels were brought to the room (in other 3 places I stayed in Moroccco this didn't happen). The location is tricky to get to at the beginning but once you understand it is in a great location, within walking distance to pretty much everywhere. Our flight left at 8 am, and witouth even asking Samir offered to prepared our breakfast at 6:30 am! We were not even thinking that was possible, but Samir prepared breakfast and helped us organized a taxi to get to the airport on time. Breakfast was amazing and the lady preparing (forgot her name!) was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot! And whenever we go back to Marrakesh we would be definitely staying at Riad Dar Kleta. Not a big issue but the doors of the bathroom are "closet like" so not a lot of privacy if that's an issue for the guests. However I saw the same style of doors in another hotel in Morocco, so might be something common.

Samir really took care of everything, from prior to the travel, getting to the riad, providing all the local tips. All the staffs were so friendly, the homemade dinner and breakfast were delicious. We spent lots of time just relaxing at the riads as it truly felt like home. The location is superb as it's only short walk distance to the vibrant spots, but when you're back, it's quiet like a wonderful oasis. We feel super lucky and grateful we got booking here!

• A (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay. The owner, Samir greeted us at the taxi drop off area (large vehicles cannot make it fully to the Riad) to guide us to the Riad. We were treated as family and were welcomed. He gave us important details and a map of key tourist attractions and many tips to help travellers stay safe and comfortable. He also helped provide us with cheap taxis and other services to help us. The Riad itself is absolutely stunning and the breakfast is great. The chefs are so sweet and helpful. The riad has many areas on the terrace for relaxing. Our flight was in the late evening and my partner and I had a few hours to kill after checkout. Samir and his staff provided us with a room to store luggage and allowed us to stay past checkout until it was time to depart. Samir and his staff treated us like family. This definitely made our holiday special.

The riad is well located and the rooms are comfortable; the breakfast always delicious and you can also pre book your dinner there if wanted. Will come back again next year as it is now our yearly tradition. We love Marrakech and Dar Kleta! Nothing really.
• Katarina (10/5): Beautiful little oasis hidden in the heart of Marrakesh - The property was absolutely stunning a little oasis hidden away in the heart of Marrakesh. The absolute beauty and attention to detail that has went in to this riad is impeccable. Aside the beauty of the property the staff and also julien and Francisco literally bent over backwards to make sure we had the most amazing stay you can tell they really are passionate about what they do and that this is their dream . They made sure from start to finish that everything went smoothly for us . Offering advice and help when we needed it and were always available for us , organising transfers , breakfast etc . The food was perfect with everything made fresh in house down to the jams in the morning . You can’t fault anything . The staff that work their the ladies and the gentleman were all so friendly I can’t thank every single one of them enough . Oh and let’s not forget the lovely kind natured cats and tortoises that were the cherry on top of the cupcake for our stay ecspecially our 5 year old son . • Natalie (10/5): Beautiful place - The riad is very beautiful and well-kept. The center courtyard, rooms, dining area, and terraces were all very lovely. The breakfast was delicious!!! I was sad I only could have it once. The staff were very accommodating, especially since we had to wake up early both days were there. The only thing I would suggest is to place a few signs along the long alleyway getting to the riad. We were quite unsure we were going the right way and we saw another couple who were lost as well looking for it.
