- Naureen Calingayan (10/5): - In my opinion, this is one of the most convenient places to stay in Taipei. Once you get the hang of the train stations and its exits, you'll find that this is easily one of the most accessible hotels in the area. The area has almost everything you need once you walk out of the door. A 7/11, Family Mart, cafes, food, etc. Also, I loved the view from my window. All of the staff were so friendly and nice. 10/10 would stay here again.
- MAYUMI (8/5): - about 10min work from taipei main station to this hotel with its around many restaurants, massage, convenience stores.and easy to access MRT 桃園機場. free coffee machine at basement floor.

- Peng (8/5): - The hotel is near to Taipei Main Station, on the side near to the Airport Express. Hence it was convenient to take the train back to the airport. The room was rather noisy, it faces the traffic, there was also something inside the room that was noisy. The staff suggested taking exit Z3 to reach the hotel, but it's a long flight of staircase. Unable to lift my luggage up, plus it started raining. Quite an unpleasant experience at the beginning.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Hotel Relax V is in the middle of the bustling city of Taipei. It is conveniently located near the MRT. In walking distance of multiple tourist attractions and several night markets. The staff super helpful and the hotel was incredibly clean.

- YUEN YEE (10/5): Comfortable stay - I have opted to pay more and chose to stay in a double bed room. The room was good and it even has ToTo washable toilet. Yet there was no hanger inside the bathroom, so you needed to place your clothes on top of the toilet seat. Inside the bedroom it has insufficient clothes hanger, there was only a small one over the counter top, so it was a bit troublesome if you needed to hang long overcoat. I would recommend them to add some hangers behind the door or on some walls.
- Kurtis (10/5): - spent 4 nights here. Room was very small but comfortable, clean and everything worked. Lots of reasonable excellent restaurants nearby. Reasonable price compared to others. Would definitely stay again for short stays.
- Pearl (6/5): - I stayed alone in a tiny room with a set of bunk beds. It was meant for 2 people, but there was no room on the floor to put more than one suitcase. The bathroom was tiny with a half sink. When you opened the door, it blocked access to the sink. Traffic noise & water running down pipes could be heard. The blinds did not cover the entire window letting light shining straight into my eyes in the morning. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, there was a safe in the room, there was a coffee machine in the back of the lobby. Great location near Taipei Main Station. However there’s a hotel just half a block away with twin rooms that are more spacious & quieter for half the price.

Property centrally located i.e. five minutes walk to Taipei main station and close to many attractions, shopping and dining options. 24 hour coffee, lattes, espresso, warm milk, filtered water, microwave, laundry, etc. Room was compact but clean, modern with warm water bidet and numerous English TV channels. Great value and would definitely stay here again
- Weixian Remi (8/5): Comfy stay - Not the first time staying there. This time round staying there for near 1 week ( Thursday 20th to 25th Feb) Room cleanliness is ++. Quiet surrounding. Bad point : the toilet door can't fully shut and the rubbish bin press to open the lid is spoilt. Near Taipei Airport express train. ( 8 -12 mins walk) Near Ximending ( 5 - 10 mins walk)

I can’t imagine trying to do any work on the WiFi.

- Qi (10/5): - I mainly booked the hotel for the location, which turned out to be even more valuable than I imagined (with easy access to all modes of transport, hundreds of options for all meals of the day and many must-visit attractions). The staff are friendly and very accommodating. There are free tea/coffee/drinking machines which I use every day. The rooms are small but cleverly designed and very good value for money. The bed is comfortable and conveniently doubles as a seat/couch. A long table/ledge runs beneath the window next to the bed, providing easy access to all my stuff, so there's no need to "spill" anything onto the floor/bed. There's also a convenient corner for the suitcase, keeping the walkway clear. The bathroom is modern and not too small compared to the size of the room. The design gives me a lot of confidence that proper cleaning can be easily done between stays. The only drawback is the sink is unnecessarily small (plane lavatory size) and water spills out every time.

- Johnny (10/5): - A family member had forgotten some cash in the safe and the hotel staff was honest enough to contact me and return it. Staff was also overall very nice with a seamless check in/out process. We were also given free alcoholic beverage tickets upon check in! The rooms although a bit small (standard for Taiwan) was very clean. The hotel was located in a very central location with numerous food, shopping and night markets close by. They had a hot beverage machine equipped with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino on site. Overall I was very pleased with my stay here and would stay here again when i visit Taiwan again.

Breakfast supposed to end at 10.30am but didn't being informed on the 2nd day they closed at 10am. And it was not a relaxing breakfast as you need to share table with others.

- atraveller (8/5): - Very close to Airport MRT station and Taipei Metro station. Only about 7 min walk from Airport MRT station. Rooms are small by North American Standard. But if you are only interested in a place to shower and sleep, it's great. Many small shops and eateries(Chinese food) close by. McDonal's and Dante Coffee open early if you need a bite before heading out. Bank of Taiwan is 5 min walk if you need to get currency exchange. The basement of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department store also a currency exchange that opens until 9pm (or 9:30pm?).

- Michel (6/5): Location first - Nicely located close to main Taipei station and a few other MRT stops. Can walk to many attractions too. Room is clean, well stocked, bed is comfortable. But, really on the small side. You can have one luggage open, no spot to hang clothing.

- Adam (10/5): amazing staff and very comfortable prime location - The hotel stay was very comfortable and secure. The customer service was top notch. The hotel was basic on complete amenities like a pool however it makes up for it with a lot of little things like the free water and snacks, free wifi, the self service coffee bar, the network of hotel relax hotels with other amenities you can take advantage of. The hotel is really close to the Z10 entry/exit of taipei station and a 5 minute walk to the in-city checkin for airport baggage. the water pressure in the shower was SOOOO nice. i would feel cramped with more than 2 people in the room though. I would stay here again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cool place. Very European. Tight little room, reminded me of a cruise cabin. But it was very comfy and had all we needed. Nice shower. Good bed. TV worked well and had 300 stations. Hot chocolate and biscuits was a nice touch. Umbrellas. Luggage storage. Breakfast was the usual buffet of Chinese food, but I enjoyed enough fruit and toast and bacon to get me by.

The hotel staff are helpful and provide useful information on where to go and how to get around. The room including the shower is clean and the bed is comfortable. The room is a bit small for 2 persons. Good value considering the location and the facilities available.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - 離台北車站地下街Z8/Z10出口近 搭公車和捷運都方便中 隔音和通風都不錯 早餐要走幾分鐘到二館那邊食 床比較短170cm趟下一點會頂腳 不方便的是淋浴間的那個放東西的盆太小了 放了洗髮精和沐浴精後基本上放不了其他東西 而且沒有地方掛毛巾 基本上都要用衣架跟衣服掛在一起 如果有掛鉤在洗手間內就方便多了 另外收拾房間的人會因為要摺被子就將床上的衣服直接往打開了的行李箱裡掉 像是我衣服阻到他摺被子了 多不好意思
- Su (10/5): - Excellent hotel and staff! The location is very convenient getting to/fro Taoyuan International airport via the Airport Express Train. Room is perfect for 2 adults, comfortable and clean. Oolong tea provided in the room is really delicious.
- Daphne (10/5): - I like the way the property is decorated. I had the Classic Twin Room for a night and the Standard Single Room for three nights. It is good to know that the toilet and shower area in the Standard Single are separate, i.e. you get a bathroom (with toilet and a sink) and another shower room some distance away. These are, however, in the same space in the Classic Twin. It rained throughout my stay, so the room's heating function saved me. I did wake up every morning to find puddles of water near the windows, both behind the bed and in the bathroom - not sure if these are a result of condensation or rain water seeping in through the windowsills. While there is a good variety of amenities offered in both rooms, the Classic Twin had a chair for the vanity whereas the Standard Single lacked one. There wasn't much space on the vanity for my items - but this could just be me with tons of skincare/makeup/accessories. Bottled water and an electric kettle are provided. Bathroom essentials are available as well. I found it weird that the receptionist told me my room isn't entitled to complimentary breakfast, but the dining area is located in a separate building two blocks away. Nevertheless, a selection of bread and biscuits are offered at the minibar behind the lobby. Laundry is available at NTD50 each for washing (35mins) and drying (45mins). The property is just a block away from Taipei Main Station's exit Z10, with tons of dining options and convenience stores nearby.
- WL (6/5): - Room is very small. A queen size bed was put against three sides wall and only one side can be used for getting on or off the bed for two people. The room is very moist and smell of mold. Hotel provide some breads and coffee and tea. That is good. Staffs are ok, just doing the job

The room smelled moldy, even with the toilet fan and the aircon on all night. I wish they hadn’t “upgraded” my room to such a smelly room. Also the facilities are getting tired compared the last time I stayed.

There were coffee, tea & slippers provided. Housekeeping came everyday and the toilet was spot clean. Oh, the beds are just a bit soft. - Jan (8/5): Layover rest stop - We had a 22 hour layover in Taipei and wanted a downtown hotel close to the train station at a reasonable price. The hotel was perfect for this. Small space, wisely used, and comfortable. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, Peace Park, and Taipei National Museum. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Reasonable but budget hotel - We stayed here for our last night in Taipei to catch an early morning flight the next day. Pros: - Location for Taoyuan MRT is great - Close to Taipei Main - Polite, English speaking staff - Free tea/coffee/biscuits - Plenty of plug points Cons: - Room is very small, too small to comfortably open a suitcase, impossible to open two. - Very small sink in bathroom - There was a table but it was basically unusable since you needed the space for the suitcase. This is not one of the hotels where you can put toilet tissue in the toilet.

- Clara (6/5): - This was my second time at Hotel Relax V. The first time, I booked a single room (got upgraded upon check in to a slightly bigger room) and it was fantastic. I loved the aesthetics and attention to details such as providing a wide array of snacks and beverages. The room and hotel smelled great too, However, this time we booked a 3 person room and the experience was completely different. The 11th floor was musty and although the room is very big, it looked like an after-thought which was not really in-line with the quality of the room I had last year (true enough, it turned out that they have just recently converted the top floor which was previously the staff quarters into the rooms). We also realised that there was a nasty smell, so we took the diffuser laying around outside the room, and poured in our own essential oil, which helped a lot. However, the hotel staff was nice enough to come up to give a room a spray when we feedback (not that it helped much). Was also disappointed that they cut down on snacks and beverages in the room. The toilet design wasnt great for a 3-person room either, as the doors are not frosted enough so you can see what is going on inside. The receptionist was also not the greatest when we checked out.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable stay - Located very close to exit Z10 of Taipei main station which was convenient (though a bit of a walk from that exit to the actual platforms). Being close to Taipei Main Station was important to us so this hotel was great. The hotel was clean and we were given a large room which greatly improved our experience! It was a disabled enabled room and from what we can tell from photos of other rooms, was much larger than than standard rooms. Our bed and bedding was very comfortable; overall we had a great stay.

Was expecting some free snacks and face masks since I saw that on the website but then nothing was there at all. Room is very dark without enough lightings. Actually the whole hotel is dark. Interior is chic but no natural light makes it very shady.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy Hotel close to Airport express - It got all you need in Taipei. Close to airport express station and the main Taipei station. The room is clean and tidy. Also with modern decoration.
- David (6/5): Great location, small room - Pros: Great location Chose this hotel because it is close to the Taipei Main train station, which includes the MRT line to/from Taoyuan International airport, as well as other MRT lines to other parts of the city. There is also good bus access. The hotel is close to the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial as well as the Ningxia Night market (about 15-20 min walk). There are also several options for food nearby – visited the Fuzhou pepper roll stall across the street several times. The room was clean and quiet, and the internet worked well. Cons: Mainly the small room size Booked a double room, which was very small – first time in Taipei, so not sure if this is typical, but definitely much smaller than similarly priced rooms in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore. The room had only a stool to sit on, instead of a real chair, so mainly a place to crash at the end of the day. Very limited area (about 4 wire hangers) to hang clothes. The water temperature fluctuated a lot – not a huge deal since the weather was hot, but maybe could be an issue during cold weather.
