There is one dedicated area but it's kinda out of the way and I'm can't remember if it has a couch.

• Azan (10/5): Great hostel in KL - Excellent hostel to meet people and do activities in KL. KL can be a difficult city to navigate but the hostel makes it easy. Great location in the heart of china town. Easy to meet fellow solo travellers here. There were very very few sinks for the number of people staying here - so make sure to time your bathroom needs accordingly.

Het hele verblijf is merkbaar schoon en goed onderhouden. De jacuzzi is een aangename extra voor ontspanning. ​Bij een volgend bezoek aan Kuala Lumpur komen wij hier zeker terug! Een kleine suggestie voor verbetering: het zou ideaal zijn als er een beveiligde kluisruimte beschikbaar is voor waardevolle spullen. Dit is vooral handig voor de periode tussen het uitchecken en het daadwerkelijke vertrek, of wanneer je nog niet kunt inchecken. Een bar bij de jacuzzi, waar je direct drankjes kunt bestellen, zou de ervaring helemaal compleet maken.

• Shatadeep (9/5): Great vibe, mixed comfort - This is a great hostel to stay at if you're interested in sightseeing and socializing. The location is great; you can access all public transportation easily, and a lot of the tourist sites are within walking distance. The building is over a century old and I loved the heritage architecture and vibe. The bunks are comfy and clean. If you want to socialize, this is a great place. They have an event everyday. I quite liked the pub crawl. The jacuzzi is of course a popular space, and they have an indoor area which can be used as a workspace as well. On the rooftop, they even have a pretty cool bar. Also, you can get free coffee and discounts on food at the café downstairs. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They helped me out in a bunch of ways, hats off to them. If you're not too picky about certain details, plan to spend most of your time outdoors and want to socialize, then I'd say go for this place. However, not all of the bunks have curtains. Unfortunately, my room was on a floor where the bathrooms were limited, and the floor could be accessed by a very narrow spiral staircase. So, not all rooms on all floors are the same. I wish the bathrooms were better as well, in terms of usability. For example, more hooks to hang clothes would have been better.

• Ileana Edith (10/5): Warm and comfortable stay - The hostel is super nice and chill with the friendliest and most welcoming staff. Everyone was super lovely, but special shout out to Jose and Edgi. The beds were comfortable, the showers and toilets kept clean throughout the day and the complimentary coffee in the coffee next door is a wonderful way to start the day. The breakfast for a special price was also delicious and super good value for money Some rooms can be loud from the hallway and the live music outside

• Elena (10/5): Totally worth it - The hostel is really good. And very well located. Rooms are nice, simple but enough. But common facilities are very good. Plenty of showers and toilets. Filtered water. Kitchen and a rooftop with a jacuzzi and bar. Staff it’s outstanding, they do everything they can to help you, and always very welcoming. They have also a cafe just under. With a free coffee in the morning and discounted breakfast.

Beds aren’t comfy, one room has a single bed with no curtains and then two bunks, all cramped into one tiny room, it’s an awful setup. The big dorms were better but there was so much noise from the bar upstairs. The price is way too high considering the basic and dirty bathrooms, but the place did have a good vibe overall, it just shouldn’t cost more than 40RM per night

• CikMeera (10/5): - I like how its brutal rustic concept with tonnes of natural lights. It was unassuming at first but the guests mostly mind their own business. Also breakfast at mingle cafe was superb!

The cheap plastic partitioned walls and stalls with rust and oxidation of the metal pieces.. . 78 Malaysian Ringit for a dorm bed that was not comfortable??? And they do not even provide towels except paying for extra. There is an industrial grade air "transfer" more like air blowing, duct inside the bed.. Very strong wind right over your head or if you try putting your head on the other side, cold wind will be slapping your face or shoving it inside your ear. Extremely uncomfortable. And after a sleepless uncomfortable night, the staff at the Mingle Cafe did not want to lift up her b*tt looking at her phone when requesting coffee

The location, the place, even the m - The location is superb, everything provided is enough and thoughtful. It’s clean. It’s quiet when it’s time to sleep. The bed is spacious, even come with storage for bags and convenient plug for electric device. The hair dryer provided is slow and not really usable.

I liked itmost The building is in a state of disrepair, seemingly neglected under the guise of "historical preservation." The stairs are dangerously rickety, posing a significant accident risk, and the walls are in desperate need of plastering. Inside, the beds under the attic felt unpleasant. The shared kitchen was the worst aspect, severely lacking in basic utensils and appliances, and so small it could only accommodate one person at a time.
