• Joanna (10/5): - My mum and I had a wonderful stay with Luau Beach Inn. I had been following them on Instagram for a while and it was exactly as portrayed on social media! It was my mums birthday whilst we were there and they very kindly arranged a cake and balloons. We had a twin room on the second floor looking over the sea. Our room was always clean, the air con hugely appreciated in the heat and the beds were very comfortable. We were on a bed and breakfast basis but did eat on 2 evenings in the restaurant. The food and service was excellent. Coffee and snacks can be had in the Shaka Slice at the front of the property and we had lots of peach sodas which were lovely. All of the staff and brilliant, always around to help from meeting you at the jetty to booking trips and making any arrangements. The dive Lodge is within the property if you just wanted to borrow a snorkel to booking onto a PADI course. It didnt bother us as we were up early for trips but the hotel is directly next door to the mosque and the call to prayer at 5am is quite loud. 100% recommend Luau Beach Inn Nothing

Bella l’escursione effettuata con la struttura La colazione potrebbe essere un po’ più varia. Anche la qualità dei piatti del ristorante potrebbe essere migliore (sull’isola si mangiano piatti molto migliori ad un prezzo anche inferiore). Probabilmente valuterei di rendere un po’ più viva la parte esterna antistante all’hotel (più volte abbiamo dovuto chiedere di mantenere le luci accese dopo le 22:00 per poter fare una partita a carte).
• Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Where do I start!? My stay was AMAZING. The hotel is well equipped and organized, their values and sustainable policies are admirable. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious and luminous. The activities provided by the hotel were up to our standards. Food was nice as well, staff was chill and well prepared. We enjoyed every minute. I'd suggest to list each ingredient in the menu's dishes and maybe plan at least one social night in a week to gather the guests together.

Rooms are comfy, food is excellent, thanks to whole team... Mike, Basi, Sharuaan, and everyone else. Beautiful bikini beach with clean soft sand, snorkelling excursions, diving is excellent. Breakfast was excellent although they rotate the menu every other day. Beach was awesome and we enjoy our snorkeling trip with Luau Beach Inn as well. Hope to come back again! Price of the food a bit on the high side but I guess this applies to all other places as well so you got what you paid for.

You get free sun chairs at the beach with parasoll, beautiful beach! You have free water every day, that’s perfect. Everybody working at Luau Beach Inn give you the best service, whenever you need help. We did some great snorkling with the team at the hotel with boat, but if you want snorkel by yourself you can do it on the island. Nothing

• Monika (10/5): Best Fulidhoo experience - Every little detail in this hotel is so well thought of. From the room with the wonderful sea view that is equipped with all the extras like right amount of lightning, storage, space and an actual soft bed (which is unusual in the Maldives). The service and friendliness from everybody, from the owner, the front desk and the service staff is so genuine and show a great love and pride for their profession and the Maldives. They are happy to share that with you and it feels like you get a nice insight to the culture. They also work hard and passionate with environmental thinking (such as water stations iso plastic single use). The facility is disabled friendly, the restaurant is really fine dining at good price/value. They have their own in house café with real coffee and pastries. Bikini beach is right next to and they have sunbeds and umbrellas available. We send our gratitude to all hotel staff for making our last days at Maldives island hoping such a wonderful time and if we return we’ll come to here again

• Cünejt (10/5): Service minded, incredible staff, fun, relaxing, best location in Fulidhoo - We had been to different islands and resorts during our 14 days holiday. Luau Beach Inn in Fulidhoo was the most memorable place for us. The staff is amazing and kind! They made us feel like we were appreciated and they were very attentive. We had a hard time saying our goodbyes and will for sure be back. The place is family owned which you can feel. We had many long talks with one of the owners, who shared many stories and anecdotes about the island and marine life. They offer many water sports and have several daily excursion opportunities. They are sustainable in their approach to doing business and they take marine life into account.

I think is definitely the best hotel on the island Their food is definitely the best on the island! Rooms are clean. Very welcoming and they arranged the speedboat transfer and Eva’s had someone guide us which was super helpful. We did have an issue with the shower water not going down, took half an hour to fix, but the following days it smelt bad. I did inform staff but not sure if it was looked into or not. We booked Divers lodge Fulidhoo which is based on their premises for a snorkeling trip. I was given a snorkel without the important splash guard and the captain of the boat pointed this out to me as I was swallowing lots of salt water which consequently made me really sick. They didn’t even have a spare on board.This ruined my experience and I didn’t stay in water long as I was struggling to breathe! I spoke to two staff about this but I wasn’t given a suitable answer, in fact one member of staff said none of their snorkels have the splash guard which is a lie as my friends had one and so did others when I checked later. I’d definitely wouldn’t recommend this dive company if safety is important to you! I’ve added a picture of the two snorkels they provided us and second picture of snorkels they have at the centre.

As long as you know this then you are prepared.

• Giulio (10/5): Perfect stay at luau - Our stay at luau has been absolutely beautiful! The property is amazing, the location as well and the food is probably the best on the island! Everyone from the staff was super nice and a pleasure to be with. Can’t wait to be back!
• Roman (10/5): Exceptional - nice environment and hotel right on the beach. Sometimes you can smell sewage in the shower. At five o'clock you are woken up by a prayer from the loudspeaker. But nothing serious. When you visit Muslim countries, you have to take this into account. It is just a pity that the locals do not respect their island and do not try to clean up the garbage.
• Andra (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice room with balcony and seaview. The breakfast was buffet style during our stay, a reasonable amount of choices and good quality of items. We also decided to have dinner most nights at the restaurant as well as lunch snacks at their cafe, all very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they were quick to respond to all our questions. We went on 2 excursions organized by them which were also great. The bikini beach is right next to the hotel and the staff helped us with sunbeds and umbrellas to that one. This was really helpful as we didn't always find any public ones available.

• Lois (10/5): We loved our stay and will be back to this idyllic beach inn - From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, and we didn’t want to leave at the end of our week’s stay. Our gorgeous sea view room was impeccable and was cleaned everyday. The air con was sweet relief on this hot island, and the Wi-Fi was good. The restaurant on the top floor offers the best dining view on the island and we really can’t praise the whole staff enough. Special thanks to Linda, Basi, Abhlo, Lashan, Kethshan, Mafu, and Fayyaz for going above and beyond to look after us during our stay, making it extra special. We applaud the small eco-friendly touches which are no doubt having a mighty impact on the environment. We can’t wait to return to see the staff and the positive changes they are having, working together with the community on this beautiful local island. The wonderful sounds of the mosque fill the air 5 times per day. We enjoy this sound, and simply checked prayer times to avoid dining at the same time, due to the minaret being positioned next to the restaurant. Once we got used to the timings, it was no problem for us.

• Faheem (9/5): Brilliant ! - Cheerful is one word I would use to describe this property. Welcoming. Feel at home. Small boutique property in an utterly wonderful location. Personalised service levels that are just not possible at large resorts. If you’re looking for a luxury property - this isn’t for you. This place requires a higher level of taste. I am so happy that few value this kind of service and hospitality and that it’s not overtly crowded.

• Mohd (10/5): Loveeeeeeeeeee!!!!! - We absolutely love Luau Beach Inn! This was our second time in Fulidhoo because we’re so fond of the island, and Luau made the experience even better. The room was perfect, comfortable and well-kept. All the staff including Linda and Basit were fantastic and the breakfast on the rooftop, with its beautiful beach view, was a great start to each day. We’ll definitely be coming back! We’re not sure if there’s anything we didn’t like about Luau Beach Inn, everything was amazing! We even received a thoughtful souvenir from Fatima to take home, which was such a lovely touch. The Maldivian breakfast was a highlight, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Thanks a lot for making our stay unforgettable!
• Blanka (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was super positive and friendly. I liked that the hotel cares about sustainability. The island is close to Male and the staff will always help arrange a boat transfer if you request it. Breakfasts could be a bit more varied.

Judging by us walking the whole island and seeing everything, this hotel is probably the best one there. Room was modern and comfy bed. Hotel staff were fantastic. Great island to see Sting Rays and Nurse sharks. Just wish they had a nice pool that overlooked the ocean!
• Olena (10/5): Exceptional service and stunning beachfront location - I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff is both friendly and accommodating. It's located right across from a stunning local beach with turquoise waters. The hotel offers complimentary water bottles and water. It's also the only spot on the island where you can enjoy a proper espresso or cappuccino. The view from the top terrace is breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and feature modern amenities. There's an excellent dive center on-site, offering remarkable snorkeling, as well as trips to sandbanks and uninhabited islands. They provide towels, rent out snorkeling gear, and offer loungers for the bikini beach, which is just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast was decent, though it could benefit from a greater variety of vegetarian options.
• Matthias (10/5): Highest comfort standards in all regards. - Food from the menu "a la carte" was excellent. Easily best kitchen on the island. The rooms were very clean, bathroom facilities excellent. View from balcony very nice. Beds were very comfortable. There was always fresh drinking water available and everybody gets a complimentary metal bottle to refill, and keep forever even after leaving. That's a really nice touch. Staff was really nice and friendly, always going out of their way to be as helpful as possible, and easy going; the hotel feels like a family business (which I believe it is). WIFI was free and reception was sufficiently strong in the room. Kayaks are available for free for the guests to paddle around the lagoon. There is also a big trampoline in the water for the kids. It's hard to find anything at fault, our stay in general was phenomenal. If we had to pick one detail that felt a little less perfect though, it would be the buffet: On some days there was only buffet available due to higher number of guests present (No a la carte menu orders on those days). On the "buffet days" food was also good, but less so than when compared to the days where we could order from the menu. The buffet was also a bit pricey for what it was. To be clear - we very much recommend the hotel restaurant for a la carte menu ordering, that was excellent in every regard and absolutely at a fair price. On buffet days however, it could be an option to explore other restaurants on the island e.g. like Cafe Orzo.
• Erdinc (9/5): Superb - The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We loved the room with sea view and the cleaning was spot-on. We had most lunches and dinners at the hotel restaurant, the food was in general very good (except for one evening when it was busier than usual) and it was probably the most professionally run and well-maintained restaurant on the island that we have seen. We also went on a couple of snorkelling excursions with them and each time was like a private tour and a great experience. The beach was breathtakingly picturesque with powder-like white sand and a mixture of emeral green-azure blue pristine water. They set up beach beds and an umbrella every time we went there, which was a service not provided by many facilities from what we could tell, as there were very few others. The island itself is such a natural beauty, cozy and peaceful. The breakfast was quite basic and left much to desire. This was the only weak point of our stay.

• Vrushali (10/5): Fantastic views, perfect location and scrumptious - This is a perfect getaway. The property is as good as a 5*. You won’t miss the facilities, cleanliness and services. The staff is helpful and friendly. The views are spectacular. One thing I’d like to highlight is the quality of food. The chef is so amazing that you’ll not feel it’s less than a 5* meal. Articulate presentation, and every dish was tastier than you could anticipate.

• Nivedita (10/5): We felt at home in this beautiful Inn and loved the excursions. - The staff is really warm, welcoming and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean. The property is located facing the beautiful beach, you will be able to watch stingrays and sharks while having your breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious every time. After I booked the stay, the communication was perfect about how to reach the property and how to reach back to Male. Abhlo and Linda guided us well for our excursions concerning the weather, so that we could have the best possible experience. The excursions were priced well and there was usually just the two of us or a group of 4, so we had a great time. The diving and snorkelling was also managed very well by them. They also gave us cute bottles as souvenirs! We ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights here and loved being on this beautiful island. We saw many fish snorkelling around the island too. Absolutely nothing
• Alexandru (10/5): Best place in Fulidhoo! - Do not miss this place!! The best rooms and restaurant on the island! We came here in October. The weather was beautiful, sometimes cloudy, few rains. The hosts are simply amazing and always helpful. We haven't tried another restaurant while here because the food is absolutely delicious. Must try their baked whole fish, fish curry, maldivian soup and all the menu in fact. The beach is right next to it. They provide water, tea, coffee for free while you're a guest here. Clean, comfy, truly relaxing, non-touristy, friendly. The water has wonderful colors, the sand is thin, there are some animals around and not far you can see sharks and sting-rays during night time.
• Alfredo (9/5): Exceptional accommodation in Fulidhoo - We had an outstanding welcome by the managers and we received an exceptional transfer support for our arrival and departure. Comfortable accommodation, spotless. It's definitely worthy to have the room with beach views. A little bit pricey compared with other experiences we had in other local islands.

• Asia (9/5): Great island to relax - Amazing place to stay. A bit expensive however it’s very clean and comfortable. Personnel was very helpful. Room was clean and it had amazing view on the ocean. Breakfast was super boring! This needs to be changed as damages the whole picture of this place. Everyday breakfast was the same: cold cut omelet, some sausages, toasts, beans and sweet bread and some fruits. I did not like the fact that instant coffee was for free (as usual in the hotels) and cups coffee was already charged (!!!) The price for the hotel is not low and such thing like a good coffee should be included. Negative point for people who are coming there to relax is that hotel is just right next to the mosque and they started from 5 am. It was disturbing a lot as it’s very loud.

Best book fullboard package as it is hard to find something decent to eat on the island.the staffs are great, very friendly and most helpful.The island is one of the most beautiful Islands in Maldives. Best time to visit anywhere in the Maldives is Oct till April. I Loved the guest house and its location and mostly the hospitality of the staffs 💕 Lack of restaurants on the island.

• Mariana (10/5): - This guest house is literally like an hotel. Super modern and amazing conditions, the rooms are very cozy and with great ambience. The best part is the rooftop restaurant, hands down the best place to eat in the whole island, amazing view and great food! I want to give a special mention to Linda, the front office manager. She’s got amazing customer service and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Furthermore my little sister tested positive for covid and we had to extend her stay for quarantine and Linda really looked after/took great care of her. 5 stars hospitality! I would definitely recommend to stay in here.

Du skal være indstillet på, at der ikke er så meget at foretage sig, andet end afslapning, bade, snorkle, hygge, spise og så selvfølgelig de muligheder der er med at fiske, snorkling og forskellige aktiviteter til vands. Alt i alt et dejlig sted.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Основной плюс — близость к пляжу - От пляжа до двери буквально несколько шагов. Пляж чистый, вход в море довольно крутой для ребенка. Под водой иногда встречаются камни, кораллы, еще что то колючее. С одной стороны рядом пристань, иногда подплывают катера. Отель для непритязательных туристов, на некоторые вещи приходится не обращать внимания (бывает неприятный запах воды в душе, нет звукоизоляции комнат, об уборке в номере нужно напоминать). Серьезный минус - каждую ночь будит «певец» из соседней мечети, именно часа в три ночи. В целом отдохнули нормально.
• Verified traveler (10/5): What a hidden gem! - What a great hotel! This is truly a hidden gem. The property is located about 100 meters from the ferry pier and you are greeted by staff upon arrival. The property has only 4 rooms and run by a very tight group of very friendly staff that will ensure you have a great stay. Breakfast was included and quite tasty. Cannot be the location. Step out the front door and walk 20 meters to the semi private beach. The beaches are public however the staff sets up umbrellas and chairs on the beach for each room so you never have to worry about reserving a chair. Keep in mind this is still a local beach so you are expected to dress accordingly and respect the rules. (Men in shorts and women must cover shoulder usually just wear a short) The host even took us for a quick walk around the island to show us where everything is located. The bikini beach is about 5 mins away however we used it very little while there since we had our own slice of paradise. Only downfall is another couple brought their drones and disturbed everyone else as I guess staff was too afraid to say anything. Note: this is a Muslim community and you are visiting their home. Prayer is broadcasted 5 times a day. Follow the rules for beaches. There is construction happening throughout the island so you will hear noise throughout the day but did not bother us.

Gerne wieder !
• Fabio (10/5): Ottima vacanza in un posto speciale - Luau Beach è una delle migliori guesthouse dell'isola. E' fronte mare, nel tratto di spiaggia più bella dell'isola. La vista che si ha di fronte è spettacolare. C'è una cucina a disposizione degli ospiti anche se vi consiglio di far fare tutto ad Hussein, il cuoco, molto simpatico, professionale e soprattutto... BRAVO! La pulizia della camera è stata fatta 1 volta a metà vacanza. Le camere sono grandi e dotate di a/c, frigo e ventola. C'è anche una doccia esterna per chi vuole lavarsi alla luce del sole. A pochi metri c'è la moschea dell'isola; chi ha il sonno leggero potrebbe svegliarsi presto... Infine bisogna considerare che accettano pagamenti con carta di credito; non ce ne sono molti a Fulidhoo e per chi non ama viaggiare con molti contanti come me è un aspetto importante.
• paolo (8/5): Guest house di fronte ad una laguna bellissima - Soggiornato per una settimana in questa piccola guest house ( solo 4 camere) e dopo l ' impatto dei primi due giorni se si riesce ad entrare nei ritmi dell 'isola andrà tutto nel migliore dei modi . Chiaramente esiste una bikini beach ma no troppo grande , d' altra parte anche L isola è molto piccola ma molto bella . Il valore aggiunto della guest house è lo staff sempre pronto ad aiutarti in qualsiasi richiesta e Hussein lo chef tuttofare fantastico ..vacanza diversa ma molto bella ..grande tristezza nel lasciare quel piccolo mondo fatto di pua semplicità
• Verified traveler (10/5): - We are having a very nice experience in Luau Beach Inn. Room is comfortable , fresh, clean and nice window facing the beach (room # 1). Shower also confortable with plenty of hot water . Breackfast is also very good(a la carte). We are always having dinner her and it is delicious! The chef is very good. Also you can have a BBQ at night outside very delicious. Over all the island is small but very relaxing.
• Zhang (10/5): relax in heaven - an amazing place, such natural, nice waters, great people, so relaxing place. if you want to escape from the noisy cities, this is the place. if you want to stay on sands and in waters, not shops, this is place. but it does have convenient stores where you can just buy everything you need.
