Guest Reviews
- Julien (9/5): Great experience in an authentic fort. - You will stay in an authentic fort, converted into a charming hotel. The service is outstanding, as the food, and the place has many amenities. The pool is also very enjoyable. Our room was a bit small but mostly due to the historical caracteristics of the place.
- Cedric (10/5): -
- Brittany (4/5): - The grounds are beautiful and the staff was kind. The dinner buffet was delicious local food. The pictures of this property are highly misleading . Online it looks like an extensive fort palace in the hills. In real life it is a small property in a random agrarian town. I paid 200$ for the room thinking I was treating myself and my friend to a castle and now, after traveling in India, I know that the room was worth 50$. It was no where near worth what I paid.
- Julio (10/5): -
- Rachit (5/5): I Went again only cause the trip a decade ago was so memorable. - Friendly courteous staff and decent food! Nothing much …the property as it was years back has lost its charm due to over commercialisation. Addition of more rooms has just added too much crowd then the fort can hold comfortably . The heritage aspect has been diluted and it doesnt seem like an exotic getaway anymore .The only thing possibly holding it together is the army of courteous ,ever helpful staff.

- Sergey (7/5): Nice One Night stay - Great staff. Historic ambience. Tranquil sunsets. Shabby. Needs a polish. Overpriced on booking.com.

- Christopher (9/5): Relaxing and historic place to stay - The staff went out of their way for us during our stay. The setting was very peaceful and had lovely views. High tea was a nice touch each afternoon. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. The building itself was historic but well maintained in keeping with the period with lots of areas to wander through. There was no a la carte menu with the only option to eat in being the buffet (which we felt was expensive). Although you are only 10km out of Alwar, taxis were prohibitively expensive (we were quoted 3000 rupees to be dropped off in town) and Uber wouldn't pick up from the hotel. It's a lovely place to stay and relax but as a base to tour Alwar, it is pretty expensive.
- Nirupama (9/5): A charming getaway - Quiet discreet luxury . Extremely warm and friendly staff . Narayan Sigh and his team are very helpful without being pushy . Very authentic and u see stated . We loved our room in the turret and woke up to birdsong each day !
Food was also very nice . We enjoyed our short stay The property itself is great but the road leading up to it is in bad condition . Also there is diet liked up right outside it which doesn’t give the beat impression
- PAROMITA (10/5): - the property is beautiful - serene, aesthetic
my family and I enjoyed our stay very much
a special thanks to their amazing staff
- Reeteka (4/5): - Food was decent. Great selection at buffet.
Great location - commanding views of surrounding area Very overpriced. For travelers who aim to get value for money, this place falls way short of the mark.

This is an old fort, beautifully restored and with several wonderful green areas to relax in.
The staff is very helpful and make you feel like royals :)
The afternoon tea and evening bonfire in the courtyard is a perfect addition to a stay already amazing.
I would highly recommend this hotel! :)

- Nirmal (10/5): If you are looking for a heritage stay that combines history with modern, empathetic hospitality, this is the place. We - Exceptional Hospitality and Child-Friendly Service
After a disappointing experience elsewhere, Hill Fort-Kesroli was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning location and the historical charm of the property, but what truly sets this place apart is the warmth and professionalism of the staff.
Highlights of our stay:
• Thoughtful Service for Toddlers: Traveling with a 14-month-old can be challenging, but the staff here made it look easy. They were incredibly accommodating, specifically providing warm milk and tailored food for our little one without any hassle. This level of care is rare and much appreciated by parents!
• Wonderful Staff: The behavior of the entire team was exemplary—polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
• Delicious Dining: The food offerings were fantastic, with great variety and quality that catered to both adults and children.
• Stunning Location: The fort offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes for a perfect weekend retreat.

- MAHENDER (8/5): - Location, appearance, nice and polite staff. Good service. Rooms were clean. View was magestic. You can see vast fields of mustard from resort. Food was too costly and prices were unjustified. Especially chapaties were very small almost size of small katori for price of Rs 48+ Gst 9%! Although they compliment us by charging half. But the damage was already done.

- Richa (9/5): Our 5th Visit & Still in Love with This Place! - This was our fifth visit to Neemrana Kesroli with family, and it never disappoints! There's something truly special about this heritage property that keeps drawing us back.
This time around, we had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The breakfast spread was delicious and had great variety - a perfect way to start the day. The evening bonfire was a highlight as always, creating such a warm and cozy atmosphere for the family to gather around and unwind.
We were thrilled to discover the newly opened bar! It's a fantastic addition to the property and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. The ambiance and service were top-notch.
The staff continues to be warm and hospitable, the property is well-maintained, and the old-world charm never fades. It's become our go-to family getaway, and I can already see us planning our 6th visit soon!
- Anthony (9/5): - Dramatic accommodation, great food and attentive staff. Our kids loved exploring the fort. The Rajasthani entertainment at the restaurant on Saturday night was also great.
- Rajnish (8/5): - Excellent service and staff behaviour along with very fresh and tasty food on all meals.
Property location is good and excellent connection with Delhi Mumbai expressway.
Well preserved heritage and feels like being in old fort.
Hill View from Pool side is pleasing and calm..we enjoyed good peace and tranquility. Good place for spending wk end in calm and quiet place.
Property is surrounded by Farma and they have their own vegetable farming area which was good experience.. Room selection shall be done carefully on web site as each room is decorated differently. Smart and Romance catagory rooms are very basic. Go for upper catagory but be ready to pay high cost.
Room furniture are old and very basic on name of heritage and ancient feel which shall be improved..how ever common amenities are furnished reasonably ok.

- Marion (10/5): Phantastisch!!

- Sanjay (5/5): WE HAVE ENJOYED OUR JOURNEY BUT NOT THE STAY - Reaching there from Noida or Delhi is not a problem through KMP express way and Mumbai Express way, you have to travel only 18 km on the internal roads. Also the food quality was good. The fort is very small with very less open area, there are no TV in rooms, they have only one TV in common area but that's not practical. Also the indoor games are very less. They have open area only near swimming pool, so if you want to swim you can't do that all the guests were there only for high tea, breakfast etc. Also the rooms interior is very old and not clean and bed was very uncomfortable. Also the washrooms need to be updated. Its really uncomfortable if you are going with elderly people , and some times boring if you are without the group.
- Anirudh Urumi (9/5): -
- Gerard (8/5): - Location and the fort itself is very beautiful. Food is good but choice could be improved.
Rooms are well designed but price is a bit on the high side for the overall rooms confort
- Tandon (8/5): recommended for its location and view. - Location is beautiful.
staff was very kind
Food was delicious. Some cleanliness and noise issue :-
Room was tidy but we notice dust on surfaces.
I believe better soundproofing could greatly enhance the guest experience.

- Isabelle (9/5): I enjoyed every moment of my stay. - Beautiful place inside an old fort, with a good restaurant, nice pool and very helpful staff. Everything was just as I expected. The access to the place from the parking is a little hard for an old lady with two hip replacements, but it’s worth taking the time to make it!
- Aphune (9/5): Amazing, relaxing getaway from the city - The friwndly staff, rajasthani food, and entertainment were exceptional. Spa service could do betfer by focusing on problems areas in the body. My neck and shoulder pain continued to persist even after a package treatment.
- Jignesh (7/5): -
- Rao Ajit Singh (9/5): - The hospitality of the staff and food was par ex excellence.
Very nice and tranquil environment 👌 The internet in rooms needs improvement .
- Komal Jeremiah (8/5): -
- LUDOVIC (8/5): - Very nice hotel, in a fantastic frame
- vidur sawhney (10/5): - I liked the restored, historical look and feel. It was honestly a great experience as someone who is a history buff and loves art and architecture.

- Sharoop (10/5): Good was tasty and had a great spread. Breakfast and dinner was great… Improvement required in deserts - Good and the rooms

- Faisal (9/5): Wonderful!! - The property is an enchanting old fortress with breathtaking views. The Neemrana group has done an excellent job of restoring it and bringing it back to life.
The staff is delightful and ever willing to assist. Mr. Narayan who was managing the dining area was particularly attentive, was taking time to talk to all of the guests and making sure that everyone was comfortable.
- Nauhar (10/5): Absolutely fantastic service! Lovely staff! The pool area was superb! Had a great time! Will be back for sure - Superb staff! Lovely ambience! Very romantic rooms! Can be a bit noisy as the village is closeby! Menu can have more variety! Bar needs to be air conditioned!
- Hardik (9/5): Superb -
- Pankaj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sally (8/5): A perfect place to relax in after 3 days exploring Delhi! - A lovely hotel with attentive staff, very good food and an ideal terrace to watch the sun go down! We were also very lucky to be there when traditional entertainment was laid on - great to see local music and dancing!
- Nitin (4/5): Ruins - Very poorly maintained. No service reflects of any luxury.
- Atul (9/5): Good value for money - Nice value for money. Full privacy, nice breakfast, nice pool.
- Tony (9/5): Great place to stop in the way from Jaipur to Delhi for some peace and tranquility - Special historic buildings with character rooms and peaceful location overlooking rural farming area. Well maintained and excellent swimming pool and lovely dining terrace with views. The turrets are colonised by pigeons and green parrots which are great to watch from the terrace but can disturb the peace from inside the room.
- Aniruddha (9/5): Superb -
- Muskaan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nirmalya (10/5): Overall experience is great with kind staff, wide and delicious spread of food and peaceful environment of the stay - Everything Height of the bed is undesirably high which is uncomfortable to get up and out of
- Preetika (7/5): Good property but food is really bad - Everything except food was good Food
- Claire (3/5): We were so disappointed in our experience we had looked forward to stay in this fort but regret not just staying closer - We booked far in advance a family room, the staff then told us when we arrived after a long journey with kids that they “sold out our room”.? Offering us a different configuration. Where we’re not all together. We insisted we always stay as a family and that’s how our kids sleep well and i feel safer being near my husband. After much convincing the manager was very helpful and offered us another much smaller room where our kids could be on roller beds. He offered a complimentary dinner to apologise which was appreciated. They gave away our room we had booked.
The front desk staff are not welcoming or warm at all upon arrival.
- Nick (8/5): Iconic Place! -
- Bhavya (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Excellent stay in characterful accommodation with good food, good service and excellent staff. - Interesting old building and a great location overlooking village and fields. Wonderful large room. Heater supplied on request. Good food. Good staff. Free afternoon tea. Trad music and dance by pool one night. Nothing.
- Sehrawat (8/5): Very good -
