• Dace (9/5): Great Value, Great Location, and Lovely Staff - The reception and bar staff were lovely and attentive, which was the definite highlight of my stay. Overall, the hotel offers great value and a fantastic location. While the rooms are fairly small, that seems to be the standard for London hotels these days. However, everything was spotlessly clean and I have no complaints.

ALL of them were lively and I could tell actually wanted to be there, and I wasn’t an inconvenience or an obligation. The layout and design were really nice. The view was good, the location is great and I Lived that we were essentially a houseboat-hotel I just with the toilet door gave a bit more privacy.. the design is clever for that space, but don’t think the door gaps lend themselves to a romantic weekend away vibe/ sharing a room with your child. The room was small- but excellent for the price! I was slightly aware of people in neighbouring rooms and above me, at busier times, but it was quiet at night.

They were short staffed on the rooftop bar, and should have sent someone up to help. The two men were rushed off their feet. There were plenty downstairs that could have helped.

• Arianna (9/5): Ottimo soggiorno, l'Hotel ha pienamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative! - La struttura è veramente carina, posta su un'insenatura del Tamigi, ha tutte le caratteristiche per soggiornare con estrema tranquillità a Londra. Le camere sono molto piccole, ma provviste di tutto l'occorrente. Lo staff è cordiale e sempre a disposizione Unica pecca, ma non imputabile all'Hotel, è la posizione molto lontana dall'Aeroporto di Stansted. Ci vogliono quasi due ore per raggiungere la zona e bisogna fare parecchi cambi di metro. Ma ci tornerei.

• James (7/5): Good for an overnight stay and close to all the docklands attractions. - Unique. Friendly. Clean. Only one thing. A security deposit which will be refunded within a week if no damage done. Or you could use it as a bar tab. Doesn’t sound like a real security deposit. Don’t understand the reasoning for this.

• Vytautas (10/5): Perfect and thanks - Three things stood out: 1. Reception handled multiple courier deliveries on my behalf without fuss — business cards and trade show banners. 2. The team printed my exhibitor pass for the show when I needed it last-minute. 3. Every request was met with "of course" rather than "let me check." That's rare. The location worked perfectly for ExCeL, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was a small daily highlight. I also appreciated learning about your social enterprise model — it shows in the warmth of your team.

• Carlos (9/5): Good value close to ExCel convention centre - Very close to ExCel convention centre. Reasonable price and good value for money. Staff were very nice and attentive, even as I forgot some belongings in my room which they found and held for me to pick up at a later time. Despite being a double bed it was actually 2 smaller mattresses put together. Not a big deal but I slept better by sticking to one side of the bed

Most important is from the dlr station walk through the path of the building next to station and save a walk right round them saves 5min on your walking time and cuts it to approx 5min walking You get nice views from the room towards the water Very small toilet/bathroom indeed

• leah (8/5): such a good value for money, cannot explain how comfy the bed was, rooms were pod style rooms with enough room for a bed - lovely staff, comfy bed good value for money location wise appeared the only tube near by was the elizabeth line, amazing if you’re planning on shopping not so much for a concert stay like ours was as no way over the thames !
• Constantinos (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely return but we would go elsewhere for supper. - We liked the decor of the hotel, the riverside views and our comfy little cabin. It was very quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good too. We also liked the ethos and felt we were contributing to a good cause. We liked the property very much, our only criticism would be the supper which we had in the evening, I had a tuna salad which had a mountain of lettuce and olives but very little tuna and the potatoes were discoloured and didn’t seem very fresh. My partner had the sea bass which was also less than average. It was a shame really as the boat itself is lovely.

• Brigitte (10/5): Concierto Rosalía y visita a Londres - Muy buena ubicación para lo que queríamos que era ir al concierto de Rosalía en el O2 Arena. Se duerme muy bien ya que está dentro del agua y no se oye nada en las habitaciones. La amabilidad del personal. Las habitaciones muy pequeñas para dos sin armario y un cuarto de baño muy pequeño. Mucho ruido de música fuerte y gente hablando a todo trapo en la zona de desayuno.

• Antonio (7/5): Deluso - Ottima colazione però ripetitiva, per 4 giorni ho mangiato sempre le stesse cose perché non c’erano varianti, la camera pulita, ottima vista sul fiume, metro vicinissima Camera piccolissima, non c’è un frigorifero, spazi nel bagno esageratamente piccoli da non riuscire a muoversi, peccato perche se la fanno pagare davvero tanto

• Suzanne (9/5): Wonderful find - I loved everything about the good hotel, especially as we got a reduced price! I loved the style, the cute efficient room (they are small but perfectly fitted out), and the breakfast was totally delicious and gorgeous to sit looking across water. The Elizabeth line makes it really handy to get into central London within 20 minutes, and it's a nice walk along the dockside to get to custom house station too. And the staff were really lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The best surprise was the charitable element, and knowing that every night we stayed paid for a week of school was quite humbling, but also made our trip even more special. Thank you for making the Good Hotel London. I'm recommending it to everyone! It would be handy to have a usb charging point at the plug socket by the bed as well as the socket, just to allow extra chargers. Otherwise don't change a thing! The hotel is reasonably priced compared to others nearby, even without reductions, but those prices are out of my price range. So if there's any way to offer regular special reduced prices and to always include free breakfast that would allow me to visit frequently!

• Franka van Eijk (8/5): Top locatie - De locatie is top, zeker als je vliegt op London City Airport. De DLR is op 4 minuten afstand en de Elizabeth Line op 10 minuten. De kamers zijn heel klein, maar erg functioneel. Het klimaat in de kamer was heel fris of warm. Ik miste de mogelijkheid het raam open te zetten. Er was 1 bureaulamp op afstand om aan te doen. Ik miste een lampje bij het hoofdeinde. Ook had onze kamer maar 1 stopcontact bij het hoofdeinde. Dat is te weinig.

• Sean (7/5): Unexpected in so many ways but I’d happily stay again - A very happy looking hotel from walking the gangplank, to the children playing on a swing in the reception, it was spotless, very open and with everything buzzing around like low flying planes(close to city airport) waterskiing in the Thames and runners preparing for park runs or the city marathon due on the Sunday the hotel was calm quiet and just so welcoming. My room although very well designed and decorated with modern furniture and great shower, had no window just a beautiful feature that looked like an outside balcony but it was an illusion. I just love a window especially with so much excitement outside to see.

• Kyra Laine (10/5): Everything we needed in the room, and a beautiful view outside. - The location is excellent, so easy to get to train lines and around the city even late at night. The view of the river from the room was incredible, and the Guatemalan worry dolls were such a nice touch. The bar has lovely cocktails and excellent service. Everything was clean and accessible. The outlets to charge our phones were very slow, even indicated on my phone when plugged in - “slow charger” - though I used the same chord and plug that I do at home.

Very noisy first thing in the morning outside, sounded like someone was rolling lots of heavy boxes along. May just have been unlucky with a delivery!

Kaimynai jai kalba už sienos girdisi ju balsai🤪.....The rooms are tiny. It’s impossible to sleep in the morning because planes start flying right over the hotel from 6:45. The shower is tiny – you have to dry yourself off in the little hallway 🤣 The toilet 😂😂😂 – you can’t sit properly because the sink is pressing into your shoulder 😅😂😂😂 If you flush the toilet, the neighbors can clearly hear it 😅🤣😂🫠 The toilet door covers both the toilet and the shower – top-level nonsense, I’ve never seen anything like it. On top of that, the doors are glass with huge gaps, basically no privacy. If you’re staying with someone, the other person in the room will hear everything, and even if you try to stay “silent” – it definitely won’t work 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If the neighbors are talking behind the wall, you can clearly hear their voices 🤪
