Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18% .To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IGV), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.

- JS (9/5): - The hosts were really nice, being responsive for everything we needed and making us feel at home. The room is basic but the beds & pillows are super comfortable! Nice fresh breakfast made by Juan, who also speaks good English. The street is silent and just a few min walk from the main square. Very nice family hospitality, we recommend. Juan is also a chef of a local great restaurant, so we recommend to try it! You can hear steps and talks from out of the rooms door when someone passes by, and also there is a small window above the door so if the light lights up, you can see it in the room. Sometimes the front main door is locked and you need to wait untill someone can open it from inside.

La cama es cómoda, limpia y abrigadora (la habitación no necesita de calefacción, los edredones son abrigadores). Prepararon desayuno en hora acordada 7.30 am, my rico el desayuno. Las personas que atienden son muy amables y educadas. Podria mejorar en reparar el piso que es de madera, suena un poco al caminar.
- Claire (10/5): Best place to stay in Ollantaytambo! - Zolya & Juan are amazing hosts, very attentive and present for all you needs. The place is quiet, nearby the centre (6 minutes walk) and the train station (12 minutes walk). The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, the beds were most confortable, and the hot showers worked really well for the area. Breakfast was very nice and they prepped some food for us to bring in the early morning train to Machu Picchu. You can park just in front of the hotel. They also accept dogs. I highly recommend and will definitely go back there next time I go to Ollantaytambo. Nothing, everything was great!

O quarto estava extremamente limpo quando cheguei. Cama confortável com lençóis macios. Chuveiro quente ,embora em duas ocasiões ficou frio durante o uso ,o que foi rapidamente solucionado pelo Juan e sua família. Bom café da manhã servido na mesa , com café, leite , suco de laranja , pão, manteiga , geleia e ovos mexidos feitos na hora. Eu e meu esposo tivemos 5 dias maravilhosos em Ollantaytambo. Agradecemos ao Juan e sua família pelo acolhimento e atendimento.

O chuveiro nem sempre esquentava e a água quente chegou a acabar no meio do banho. Também seria legal ter um abajur no quarto.
- Michael (10/5): - We were able to find this b&b last minute, and although the office was closed, they were willing to accommodate us. Rooms had private baths and looked like the photos. This was a great location in town that was very walkable. Really worth a stay if going to the quaint town of Ollentaytambo. The included breakfast was excellent! Would be nice if Orbitz reflected their office hours.

Very clean; comfy bed. Eat at the son's restaurant: Amanto-. He's an amazing chef!! Timing of shower for hot water. No problem once you learn to take it in the am..not at night -)

- Akhilesh (10/5): Very sweet hosts and you definitely get the full value for money - Juan and his mother run this small B&B in Ollantaytambo - it's situated slightly off of the main square so everything in the town is pretty much walkable. While it was located in one of the small alleys, we felt very safe walking up and down the main square (with 2 kids) - under 5 minutes. The main site of the ruins of Ollantaitambo is also walkable in under 10 minutes. They are very good hosts and cater to the needs of the guests. Being able to talk to the locals and share their lives was one of the key experiences of our travel. Juan, the host, prepared breakfast for 2 mornings while we were there. He prepared Omelettes, Orange Juice, and Coffee - they were delicious! Most importantly, we had to leave early morning on the 2nd day (at 5:40 am) so he prepared the breakfast at 5:15 am - this was a really pleasant surprise for us. They also allowed us to keep our luggage overnight at their place overnight so that we can finish our 2-day Inca Trail (with one night in Aguas Calientes). Thank you Juan. The shower was a little bit tricky and it took a long time to produce warm water. But we just asked for help, and Juan/his kid Tiago helped us out, and we were all set.

We loved the location, on a quiet street but close to everything and our room was bright and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty (my kids loved the pancakes and the coffee and juice were 10/10). Breakfast was great and fulfilling. Room size adequate for 2 people. Toilet was clean, shower had nice hot water. Juan helped us find a Taxi to drive us from Ollantaytambo to Moray, Maras, Salineras, and Chinchero before dropping us off in Cusco. Ollantotambay stay was quiet and relaxing. Nothing to complain about. Internet at night was not the greatest.

The breakfast was really good ( with fresh orange juice :D) We could bring our Backpacks the day before at 7 am, cause we took the train to Machu Pichu. They were so nice, we felt absolutely welcome.

The hot water is never there, I always have to ask which is not really pleasant when you need to bath after a long and tiring day or simply as you like in the morning which must be the least of things, I mean…. The floor is not clean in the room….

- Phyllis (8/5): Service that is incomparable - Owner Juan and his Mother really make you feel, "Mi casa su casa". They are very helpful in making your visit to Ollantaytambo even better. Breakfast is deliciously prepared each morning with fresh juice. Juan arranged a tour guide for the local Sun Temple, and Dani was extremely knowledgeable about Inca history as well as present day conditions for Inca people. Then Juan took it upon himself to take my hiking boots (Lowa, with a problem they are known for) to be fixed as the soles were threatening to come completely off, right before I was to visit Machu Picchu. They were resoled and now are in great condition to hike in...... as I did in Cusco sites. The fee for this was a little over $10, a lifesaver, as I would have been a very miserable traveler to have not been able to trek all over Machu Picchu and make the pilgrimage to the Sun Gate. This is A+ service, that says, " We Care". Mucho gracias Juan.

The location is great, close to the main square but far enough away so that the traffic and noise are not a problem. The host family is wonderful, they helped us with train reservations and taxis, great breakfasts, and their overall friendliness made our stay very enjoyable.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice B&B, with great location and friendly staff - This is a great way to experience Peruvian culture and hospitality first hand. Juan and his staff are super friendly and welcoming, and can help you make daytrip driver arrangements if you wish (you should visit Moray and Salineras while in the Sacred Valley). Beds are comfortable and hot water is always available. It is a B&B, so some amenities such as satellite tv, in room fridge or microwave typical of hotels are not present, hence the lower cost. We had a great stay and enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast every morning. Except for the last night, wifi was working very well.

We wanted a private bedroom with a private bath in this small village of Ollantaytambo before taking the train to Aguas Calientes and visit Machu Picchu. Juan was an excellent host and went out of his way to make sure we had the tickets we needed for Machu Picchu. Breakfast was outstanding cooked eggs, pancakes, smoothies, toast, etc.

Dirty clothes from a atv tour, washed and dryed, no problem. 5AM tour to Macchu picchu which is too early for breakfast, no problem they packed us a breakfast. The staff alone were enough to recomend but the accomodations were great too, clean and simple and just what you need. Place was quiet at night. Overall a great experience.

No shampoo but thats okay for the price you cannot complain. Breakfast was eggs, amazing espresso coffee and toast + jam. Juan also arranged transportation with Nelson, I think his cousin?back to Cusco for a significantly better price than what we paid to get to ollan. Please coordinate and use Hotels.com messaging service to help Juan coordinate your arrival. He is very attentive and helpful. The lady there was also friendly. Overall people there make up for the missing things you find at hotels.

- Lowell (8/5): Decent Hotel - For what it is, i think this hotel is one of the most decent B&B in the area. The top floors are still under construction, a typical work in progress situation for most building owners in the city. It is situated on a quiet area of the town and everything is walking distance including the train station to Machu Picchu. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly.
