And breakfast went beyond the usual hotel fair with hot eggs and bacon (for $14). The temperature of the room often went cold despite us turning up the thermostat.

• Inspire17904231263 (10/5): Very quiet hotel with a great staff. - This was an overall great stay. Very close to downtown but tucked away so that it feels peaceful. The staff are amazing and very helpful. We arrived late and were very tired and Chris made the check in process super quick and got us up our room in no time. We were a little bummed out that breakfast was a separate cost, but the quality of the food made it worth it. Katie was our server and she was very nice. We stopped at the desk to see if we needed to sign anything before we checked out and were told that we just needed to drop the keys off at the desk or we could leave them in the room. Big Jake was great, got us checked out and offered us waters to take with us. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip in the fall.
• Pirate Menace (10/5): Easy and Quick Oly Area Trip - Location, pool, dog friendly without scalping me on pet fees (very reasonable), big room, super clean facility all around, friendly, available and helpful staff, great layout, in the lobby: water station to refill water bottles, sunroom, lounge, and couch areas to visit and relax. Didn't access but liked the on site restaurant if needed. Keep coffee access all day please and have more lights outside the back of your facility, please? Easier to come and get to elevators, but really dark outside. Made the hotel next door look like every light was on. Would have like a place to charge our EV but 6 hotel next door had a public one we used.

• Courtney (8/5): It was nice for our one night stay - Close to the capital building, pool and hot tub were a pleasure, and the breakfast was great. On the upper floor you hear the freeway noise but with a fan it wasn’t that bad.

Not only to help us figure out dinner for a group of softball families but when my daughter left her beloved stuffy, he made sure it was safe and returned to us! He gets 10/10. Our room faced the freeway and yikes was it loud! Def try and request one that is not freeway facing.

• 847karid (8/5): Location is Everything - It had good staff and clean rooms. Pool and spa were nice. I didn't go in the fitness center. We didn't eat there either. It is so incredibly close to the freeway that staying on that side of the hotel kind of sucked. It is not really a walkable area. I would not choose it again for a stay in Olympia - not because it was bad, but there are better locations.
• Liz (5/5): Nice Location, Average Hotel - Nice location and nice hotel. We went on a weekend and it was overrun by a youth sports team. Usually fine but we have little guys and they took over the pool super loud and rowdy. And then later on it was the same thing in the lobby. Just kids throwing footballs. I was suprised it was allowed. So it was bit much but I'm sure it is much different during the week.

The evening lobby attendant was so sweet to help me when my son feeding tube spilt on the white sheets and blanket. I was afraid I would be charged for the deposit but the lady put notes in about our stay and took care of the bedding for us with no charge. Bathroom fan didn’t work.
• HOLT (1/5): BAD - waste of money. - Nothing. No power due to storm. They said we only had reservations for one room and we had booked and paid for two rooms through Booking.com. Hotel was not willing to work with us since we had booked through booking.com. Booking.com only has AI available on their customer service number and they say my booking number is not valid. I will never book with booking.com again. The weather is no one's fault but this experience was not good!

Also, I've never seen a shower where the shower head & the on/off lever are on opposite sides of the shower stall(?)

Will’s warm and welcoming smile when I checked in was appreciated. While I did not get the room I requested, I did get the floor that I requested. Thank you Will. I truly appreciate Will’s remarkable effort and attention to detail. The room was nice and spacious! Please convey to Lexy, Tiffany and Will that their amazing unwavering hospitality truly exceeded my expectations.

They were so accommodating, went above my expectations with what I requested!!! I would come back here every time I visit the area to see my daughter. Thank you Hilton Gardens, for making my trip so wonderful. Nothing. Except for housekeeping entering my room without permission to place blanket on table, that I requested but I put a do not disturb on door and strangely they entered when I wasn’t there. Kinda startled me. But they were just trying to be accommodating. So I forgive :)

• omeronderim (2/5): Extremely Frustrating Experience With Food & Beverage Credits - M y experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing, especially regarding the Food & Beverage (F&B) credit. The hotel advertises a daily credit that guests can use toward breakfast, but in reality, it is almost impossible to use it anywhere meaningful. The menu makes it seem like you can choose from several cooked-to-order breakfast items, but when you read the fine print and actually try to redeem the credit, you realize that only items marked with a tiny symbol qualify. On the breakfast menu shown here, almost nothing is actually included, even though this is the only dining option available in the morning. Most items like omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and the yogurt bowl don’t qualify at all, even though these are basic hotel breakfast items that should logically be covered by the credit. To make it worse, the staff did not proactively explain any of this. You only find out after trying to order and being told that your choices “don’t count.” It feels intentionally misleading. What’s the point of offering a daily F&B credit when almost none of the breakfast items are eligible? Guests shouldn’t have to hunt for symbols or decode whether their breakfast qualifies. If the hotel plans to restrict the credit so heavily, it should be stated clearly at check-in and reflected more transparently on the menu — not hidden in tiny icons and vague footnotes. Overall, I left more frustrated than appreciated. If you are booking this hotel thinking the daily food & beverage credit will make your stay more comfortable, be prepared for confusion, restrictions, and a lot of disappointment. It’s just not worth the hassle.

• Connie (9/5): Noisy but nice room. - Convenient location for my travel from Bozeman to Seattle and back. Outbound was perfect, but the return, not so much Do not ever accept a room facing the interstate. I was in room 434 and all night long I heard trucks driving by intermittently. By morning it was a steadier stream and better. I could not get the fan to stay on for white noise, it was pretty miserable. Last week I had a room on the opposite side and it was wonderful 😊

Good location, close to the highway and downtown Olympia, with easy access to restaurants. Check in was easy and the room was clean. Awakened in the middle of the night with a "low battery" announcement from the smoke detector. Found a staff member to deal with it, but she didn't replace the battery. No manager on the premises for the weekend, so I sent an email after I returned home. Thank you to manager Lexi for responding quickly and providing a "gesture of good will" by discounting the room rate.

The bathroom definitely needed a fan, but I'm sure that a lot of people say that. I was surprised that breakfast came with a charge. And yet, it wasn't staffed like a restaurant. I felt more like an afterthought, rather than someone the staff was keeping an eye out for.

Pleasant staff & good food (yes, there is a restaurant off the lobby), nice outdoor seating area. Safe parking, well lt. Even a small pool & whirl pool. All day complementary coffee/tea/wine.. Hotel is right off I-5, so there is some low level noise. Did not bother me .. Blowing vent hole on ceiling in room, cannot be turned off, creates a white noise condition.

• Elise (10/5): - The Hilton Garden Inn Olympia was a clean, friendly, easy access hotel. The restaurant was clean, prompt and delicious. Only downside, if you were staying longer than one night, it was a small drive to most tourist type attractions and shopping. I only stayed one evening and it was perfect for my needs!
