• Terry (10/5): Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay there. Very clean and nice artwork, - It was a very clean property and attractive in the design of the hotel. The staff was very nice! The only thing that was not very well done was the faucet in the bathroom. The mirror had been placed so low over the sink, the faucet would only come up a little so not much water to wash hands.

• Charlotte (6/5): Location great but beds were terrible - The location was great. I liked being close to the Mexican restaurant and Tackle Town. The beds were horrible. The beds were very hard. Also it would be very hot in the room unless you had the A/C blasting the whole night. I wish there was a fan in the room.

• Jill Womack (5/5): Need to work on hospitality and service!! - The room was big and comfortable, location. The bar tender Tamarah was so professional and kind and helpful!!! She made our stay!!! Our room wasn't serviced in 4 days even though requested, shouldn't have to go get you own coffee everyday for your room. Other than Jordan was never spoken to when entering or leaving the hotel. Just a pet peeve..especially the girl and gentleman in the evening, never at the desk always in the back office. Made me quite weary of who could come in and out of the hotel...

• rita (7/5): - I couldn't enjoy the patio because there were sting worms crawling around on all the furniture. It was creepy. No point in having a patio if people can't enjoy it.

It was noisy so I turned it off. Other than that the gym was cleaned. Breakfast was good options. Parking was good too. I would come again. Thank you! • Carol (8/5): - Close to friends I was visiting. Newer hotel. Clean. Breakfast food bar and seating area. The $50 return deposit is not acceptable. Company they use took too long. Was a month before I got it returned. I called the hotel. They said companies are different. Another hotel I stayed, returned it in 2-3 days.

• AXAIO (10/5): Great stay at Fairfield! - Entered the lobby and was immediately greeted by the person behind the desk with a smile. Alana made the process of getting a room very easy and within minutes I had a room and all of the info I needed. Also, on checking out, Jordan,,,,I think that was his name,,,,was very helpful. The room was great,,,no problems and we would definitely stay again when in the area.
• timarron (10/5): Pleasant stay in Rockport. - Very pleased with our stay. I was hesitant to book after some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Spacious suite. Helpful staff. The manager Vikas gave us tips for sightseeing and birding in the area. Breakfast your usual thing for Fairfield or IHG but sufficed. Definitely recommend.

• Diane (9/5): Everything was nice! - Liked everything about the room and desk service reps were very friendly. The only issue & it wasn’t that big a deal, is that the windows were tinted blue which made everything in the room seem blue. It bothered our eyes, so we had to keep the curtains closed.

• R8074XIstevenb (4/5): Worn out rooms - The property is easy to find and enter from along the main highway. Check in is easy and standard. The rooms however have an awful blue tint film on the windows. The constant hue of the blue light is very off putting. The rooms were clean but you can tell these rooms are used hard from the constant flock of tourists rotating in and out. The carpet is getting worn and the air conditioning rattles all night.

• Kendalia (5/5): - The first floor and breakfast was decent. I was not very happy with the our room. It just didn't seem like it had been cleaned well. Not fresh smelling. Not that this was the hotels fault but we had someone smoking something other than cigarettes on our floor. Then we had a dispute between someone drunk and another guest. Just not the peacefulness we were looking for. Overall that 3rd floor needs some attention and needs extra cleaning.

The walls were very scuffed up and sideboards were coming off or gone in the bathroom. The tv was small. Someone kept stomping down the hall on the first night. On the second night I witnessed someone being taken away in handcuffs by the police and an ambulance. Not enough parking either.

The microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker were nice to have and there was food in a refrigerator to purchase at the desk area. Nice area to sit outside. The AC unit made too much noise.

The big issues were that we expected more confrontable beds and we had a big issue with huge roaches in the room. 2 nights stay and 3 roaches killed somehow they were coming into our bathroom thru the sink or shower. One crawled up my leg while I was putting on my makeup the day we were leaving and I couldn't wait just to get out of there. We were on the second floor. I doubt we're ever staying there again. Sadly it is a nice place and its not the staffs fault but they really need to get the place exterminate immediately.

The shower was big and water pressure great. I enjoyed the swimming pool and warm towels. We had a nice big room. The outside court yard was very nice and relaxing. The staff were nice & pleasant. I would stay here again. I loved everything. I have negative to say.

• B9443TCkenneths (2/5): Rude General manager! - Vikas Bhakta should not be GM at this hotel! I tried calling the front desk 10-12 times within the span of an hour for towels to be delivered to our room. Every time, I got a busy tone. I believe the phone was disconnected from access to front desk. When I went down to front desk, I told Vikas of the situation, but he was not very apologetic of the situation and said we'd get towels whenever they were able to get them to us. I told him I'd grab some pool towels instead, and his reply was "good luck with that". Someone is his position should show more respect towards customers paying good money to stay at his hotel!

Breakfast was a joke! No coffee, watered down juice. Soggy eggs, no bagels! This wasn’t worth the amount of money we spent to stay in what should’ve been a nicer hotel than others around.
