- M9146YJdebh (2/5): Do not stay if Disabled - If you are disabled do not stay here. Front desk lady was so rude. Refused to call her manager. I call BW corporate after she refused to help with the cart because I'm unable to push it. She said this isn't a five hotel and we don't help disabled people. I waited an hour before she would push a cart just out side so I can put my stuff on cart for her to literally push it around the corner from front desk. Then she pushed the cart into room and I unloaded it. Then had to go back out ask her to remove the cart. She said we'll did you unload it. She also said she doesn't like dogs. She should not be allowed to work at a hotel that allows dogs. This was my fathers service dog who died and I am taking it back home with me. I stay at Best Western all the time and have never been so mistreated. Couple stays away from Diamond Select. This is an awful way to treat a disabled customer. I did try to cancel but my room was non refundable from booking on best western site.

It was very comfortable. The pillows were down everything about it was wonderful. No complaints. The only thing that we didn’t like about the property was that they gave us a 10% discount coupon to eat at one of their facilities there which were too different ones but the same and then the one that we got the coupon for they didn’t have any other things on the menu so they just kept them. Our room was pleasant, very clean, with a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The hotel staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. There is a very nice walk nearby in the university area. The attached Denny's restaurant was convenient, with friendly staff and good service.

- Andrew (8/5): - It's a decent place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are in many regards better than average for this price range. Mattresses and pillows good. The kitchenette is quite well equipped although as seen in the pictures quite small (thank you for stainless steel pots and pans!). I do have a some concerns in recommending the place whole heartedly. My first night was on the ground floor and the sound insolation between floors is poor. You could hear every footstep in the suite above. I subsequently was moved to the 4th floor which was a huge improvement. Also, the gym is small and in need of updating/better equipment.

The suite was lovely, large, quiet, and with everything we could want. The setting was good with areas to walk around, we have a dog and always look for green belts, trails or good places that are safe and clean. The bed was the best! The towels and hot water were great and the breakfast was appreciated. The staff made us all feel welcome and valued....pretty nice place to visit.

The breakfast is very good. Any issues that I have had have been resolved and recompensed. We will continue to come to this hotel when we are in town.

- annaC9156HT (10/5): Excellent room layout and amenities. - The two bedroom king rooms in this hotel are well configured and have excellent kitchen amenities. They would easily accommodate 6 people and offer privacy for each couple.

- mkind0344 (10/5): business trip - The front desk attendant was very helpful with changing my room type without question. Very efficient and friendly as I arrived late and made a room change. The breakfast was good - still warm when we arrived near the end. I like strong, hot coffee and would prefer it to be a little stronger but it was still good. There is an automatice coffee dispenser available to brew your preference, as well.

- KDVig (10/5): Clean and comfy! - The room was very clean and the bed and linens were amazing! The lobby felt modern but inviting and the front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. We really enjoy the Best Western brand and the rewards program.

- safet20232024 (4/5): Poor Experience - I would not recommend this hotel. Poor customer service, sauna and hot tub dirty. The room was also dirty, will not be returning. Location was decent, but the hotel was way over priced compared to others in the area with better amenities. Our rewards were also not honored upon arrival.
- shipwreckpanda1304 (6/5): The keep pet rooms by lobby - This is my first time having a “pet” dog. I normally have a fully trained service dog but my puppy is in training & doesn’t count in the eyes of ADI but does under the ADA. Either way the room we were put in was right across the hotel lobby. My dogs are trained to notify me if someone is near for ptsd related tasks. Well you can guess what happened being right by the lobby… voices were so easily heard even by me so notification “bark” (can only be 1 bark) was happening all through out the night & morning… not to mention bc it’s a pet room there was another dog in the next room over who would then bark a lot once my dog notified barked. It was this constant back & forth which I can only imagine was horrible for me but for anyone who could hear this chorus of both dogs barking all night. The dennys also seemed great for room service but the phone to reach them either didn’t work or you’d get randomly disconnected. When you got your food it was cold & saturated in oil. Making it a requirement to use the rooms microwave. Just an overall disappointing & exhausting stay.

- devonp499 (10/5): Pleasent stay - The staff was friendly, quick and it was a very seemless check in. The room was clean and quiet. The shower door was so clean that I had to reach out and touch it to see if there was glass there. Overall probably the best place to stay in Fort st John.

- Ticanna (2/5): - Dirty men’s underwear in the parking lot, stinky room I had to be moved, other room had dirty walls, freezing cold, and the little store they have is HIGHWAY ROBBERY 4 dollars for small bags of chips big bags are 20 dollars absolutely disgusting
- Steven (2/5): Beware of plastic pillow cases - Pillow cases were like sleeping on paper bags. Complained and nothing was done. I stay in a lot of hotels and this was by far the worst pillows I have ever experienced

- Paul (6/5): Weak to no internet, but housekeeping is great - As someone staying in Fort St.John for work, I would not recommend staying here. First of all, personally, I do not care for pool or gym as I am already exhausted after work. I only need a very good internet connection to be able to video call my family. However this hotel does not provide a decent connectivity. Annoyingly, it would pop up terms of service every once in a while and have to press on 'continue' to go on with internet. I accidentally had to use all my data in 1 night because I forgot to click on 'continue'. I've been to other Best Western, and their internet is so convenient and fast, so I thought its the same for all Best Western, and unfortunately, that is not the case. However, I did like that there was housekeeping everyday and they managed to keep my room clean my whole stay.

- Departure09773095417 (8/5): Great Hotel and Staff - Great Hotel and staff, something fell through the cracks on check-in and it took three tries to get into a room with bedding and no other guests already occupying accommodations. I've stayed here on numerous occasions and this was the first time experiencing any issues.
