- Graham (8/5): As described and a nice place to stay. Could do with a bit of filler in the walls and fresh paint. - All facilities worked. Breakfasts were good. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area My room was clean, but is in need of redecoration really quite urgently. It looked tired.
- Rhys (5/5): -
- Lalor (10/5): Well worth the money and lovely friendly staff. - Beautifully appointed accommodation close to town centre. Breakfast was wonderful.
- Annette Keane Barnes (10/5): - This is a little gem in the Welsh countryside. The staff in dinning room were exceptional and so friendly n full of local knowledge . The breakfast was superb.. would definitely stay again if back this way . Cenarth fall nearby are fantastic and the fishing is good .
- Clare (8/5): Good value hotel with all the basics covered well - Lovely warm welcome from the lady on Reception, everything clearly explained, and the lady running breakfast in the morning was also fantastic. Room was spotlessly clean. Good shower. Breakfast itself was really good. Bedroom was dated, two of the pillows were lumpy (I just used the other two though).
- Rebecca (8/5): Brilliant staff and breakfast - Brilliant staff and breakfast. Very friendly, professional and cordial. The room was comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was wholesome and filling.
- sarah (8/5): -
- Roger (9/5): on the whole a lovely hotel - Quality Hotel Breakfast, asked for poached eggs, the whites of the eggs were not cooked
- Ian (9/5): -
- martin (9/5): - Character hotel.
Good breakfast.
- Pauline (5/5): Convenient. - Location No evening meal or bar. Noise from room above early in morning
- Francesca (8/5): Friendly and helpful staff. - Size of the room Tv too small for the wall and distance away from the bed.
Shower controller could only be used whilst standing in the shower, which wasnt fun when cold water came out
- Colin (10/5): Great value for money - Room was large and quiet, breakfast was great
- Melanie (10/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would use again. - Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very well furnished. The receptionist and the lady at breakfast were very pleasant, helpful and professional in their approach. Breakfast was served in a well equipped dining room with ample choices of food. The full breakfast was very well prepared, presented and filling. The mattress on the bed was not the most comfortable and the floorboards in the room creaked loudly when walking anywhere in the room. Just unfortunate no evening meals are provided.

Fiona is a breath of fresh air in the morning serving breakfast and couldn't do enough for us. Receptionist was so polite and helpful too. Will most definitely come back next time when working away in the area. The beds were a little on the hard side.

- Rosalind (8/5): Really enjoyed two visits and will definitely revisit. Value for money!;Breakfast was delicious! - Breakfast was superb and definitely value for money!staff very polite and helpful Stayed twice within 2 weeks first time penthouse bath wouldn't empty after shower. 2nd time shower water pressure minimal at first. Instructions would have been useful.
- Lydia (9/5): We really enjoyed our nights stay and we would come back, just might ask for a different room. - We loved the old building with lots of character and tastefully decorated, everything about the breakfast was very good, plenty of buffet options and juice and our fried breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and tasty. Our room was snug but very comfortable and everything we needed and the bathroom was great with a nice big shower. The town was lovely and plenty of option for dinner. The stairs, we were up two flights which wasn’t perfect but no major factor, and we had a busy road side room, the room was very warm so we had to open the window which meant traffic noise.

- Kevin (10/5): -
- alan (8/5): -
- Aaron (9/5): Very enjoyable stay. - Excelent breakfast, very friendly staff.
- Lydia (10/5): Lovely stay and very friendly helpful staff. - Lovely character yet modern touch, very comfortable bed and cosy rooms with everything we needed, breakfast was amazing- plenty of choice, hot & cold options, all great quality. Nothing really, a small niggle could be that the bar would stay open a little longer than the 9pm.
- Rosemary (7/5): - Good location No evening meal0
- Cerian (3/5): Disappointing - Great welcome when checking in - no problem parking and breakfast was good. Room was acceptable/ good although bed was slightly uncomfortable and the sofa could do with an upgrade. TV worked and bathroom was modern and clean. The corridors and stairs look terrible - the carpet doesn't look as it has been cleaned in the last 5 years .The restaurant and bar are shut and the sitting area is not welcoming. The front door of the building is locked at 8pm so if you do decide to go to a local pub to have an evening meal you are provided with a key to open the back door.
- Jane (9/5): Spot on for my needs - Parking on site.
Pleasant en-suite room.
Located in a town with lots to explore in spite of wet weather!
- Sian (7/5): -
- Williams (10/5): -
- Richard (9/5): - Excellent welcome at reception, room was spotless and cosy and Excellent value, parking was easy and close and the bed was very comfy Unfortunately restaurant was shut for evening meals but a lovely pub next door does great meals

- Gavin (8/5): Vary adequate - Breakfast was excellent No meals being served
- Grant (10/5): -
- Keeley-Osgood (10/5): - Everything Pillows are a little hard, but everything else is excellent
- ZDG60 (5/5): -
- Dennis (6/5): -
- Joanna (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Staff were very welcoming and helpful Nothing
- cathie (8/5): - The receptionist was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having television in the bedroom as well as out in the lounge. WiFi was excellent. Added bonus of having parking. I booked the suite as the breakfast was included and said to be excellent. However it was only served between 7am and 8.30am. Which is slightly early when you are on holiday.
Also shower surface was a little slippery
- John (8/5): - Evening meals not offered on Monday, is this clear on the booking site?
- Neil (2/5): Not impressed and won’t stay again - Main hotel seemed nice inside No staff, we couldn’t find our room to start just told to go outside and down the road a bit, we walked up and down and then tried a door that looked like the front of a shop which was supposed to be a suite. Once in we were greeted to the smell of damp. The facilities were ok but the room was dirty, the mattress was to small for the bed and made so much noise, you couldn’t even roll over without everyone in the street knowing and the shower head was black with mould, I had to clean in before taking a shower. The road noise was bad as you were literally right on it with a huge shop window as your main source of light in which everyone could see I. Unless you closed the curtains. We won’t be staying again.
- Diana (8/5): Good value for money - Great location, good breakfast and friendly staff. Our room was very warm - too warm. There was a fan & small air con unit but they were noisy so we didn’t leave them on overnight. Save energy (& money) - we’d recommend the hotel turns the thermostat down for the underfloor heating……
- KONSTANTINOS (9/5): -
- Andre (10/5): -
- James (10/5): It was excellent - Very cute and clean with a great shower for the first time in six weeks . Nothing.

- Callum (8/5): -
- Callum (7/5): -
- Simon (9/5): Recommend - The lady on reception was very helpful. Sorted me a quieter room as i work nights and had to sleep in the daytime.
Room 2 is a lovely room, clean and quiet.
- Llinos (8/5): Good value - Large airy room, bedroom and ensuite very clean. Only saw check in staff, and server at breakfast but they were both very helpful. Stairs and corridor areas in need of makeover, looked very tired.
- Clare (8/5): Great place and great value stay - Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Room (executive double) comfortable and clean. Some tired elements in the hotel but nothing that caused an issue for us. Good, secure parking available on site. Great location on a small town with loads of places to eat out.
- David (9/5): - Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Value for money and thoroughly enjoyed a lovely breakfast 🥞
- paul (10/5): - Excellent staff
Excellent food
Excellent location
Excellent room. Nothing, it was perfect for me.
- Gautam Kumar (10/5): - Very nice and cosy place. The check-in person was very helpful.
- Shaun (7/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - Wonderful hotel for the price beautiful rooms great breakfast and staff Nothing
- Lindsay (8/5): - Clean and comfortable room and bathroom
Nice breakfast prepared to order
- Valerie (9/5): - Pleasant staff. Ideally positioned for our requirement to attend a local funeral. Good hearty breakfast. Have stayed before- 19 years ago. A little “ tired” but to be expected given its age. One side of our double bed was sloping and very creaky. No extractor fan in the bathroom. Unfortunately our second night was significantly disturbed by the guests in the adjacent room returning at 2.45a.m. and trying to enter our room by mistake , then continued talking quite loudly and other people appeared to join them . This continued until they appeared to leave the room at 4.25 a.m. !!- quite a disturbed night- not really the hotel’s fault but very inconsiderate of those guests and there seemed to be a number of them!
- craig (8/5): -
- Elaine (9/5): - Lovely room. Breakfast was superb
- Hema (2/5): - Upon arrival, I found the hotel room to have an unpleasant odour, and much of the furniture, including the sofa, appeared very dated and worn. I requested an additional blanket for the night, but was told there would be an extra charge of £25, which seemed unreasonable given the short two-day stay. Considering the circumstances, I felt it would have been more reasonable for the hotel to provide this as a basic necessity.
Unfortunately, due to the strong smell and overall condition of the room, I decided to leave after just one night, despite having booked for two. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, and I was left disappointed with both the quality of the accommodation and the service provided.
- Cathy (7/5): We enjoyed our stay & would stay again - Perfect location
Great bathroom Bed could of been bigger & more comfortable
The floorboard of the room above was creaking & therefore very loud which caused disturbed sleep
- Simon (8/5): Great value, lovely staff - Very convenient. Room was spacious and clean. Lady with dark hair on reception was lovely and helpful. Value for money. Breakfast finishes 1/2 hr to early for me.
- Richard (9/5): -
- David (7/5): -
- Shay (10/5): Stayed here for work, the staff for very welcoming, location was perfect for my needs and the breakfast was lovely - Nice location in a lovely little village
- David (7/5): -
- Rohaan K (9/5): Great stay overnight, very pleasant experience - They gave me a new room which was excellent in condition Nothing
- Mark (10/5): -
- jones (10/5): Excellent will definitely come again - Very nice very modern interior
Room looked like freshly renovated (in a good way) N/A
- Beatriz (8/5): -
- Janet (10/5): - Had parking , nice breakfast ,
- Simon (6/5): -
- Jon (6/5): - We only just managed to check in as they were closing at 7.00pm and all doors would be locked to main hotel and no night staff on duty. I checked in at 6.35pm.On checking we were told the bar and restaurant were closed. We would have to go out and find somewhere to eat. None of this was ever told to us in booking. Wouldn't go back as could have had that type of service at a Travel lodge.
