Difficile de dormir correctement quand on entend beaucoup les chambres voisines (appel, tv, aller aux toilettes et péter !!) Il y a des vieilles couvertures sur les lits et on se demande depuis quand elles n’ont pas été lavées.

It’s in a nice location of the city with nice restaurants around and the supermarket is round the corner. There is a kitchen you can use and laundry services too. Good value for money, I would definitely stay again. Can be a little noisy from the road so bring ear plugs.

• Connie (10/5): Convenience, comfort and customer service are the hallmark of this small hostel. - This is the 3rd time I've stayed here while having eye surgery conveniently nearby. I am rebooking for a friend today. The facilities are well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and the staff most helpful and understanding of our needs. Breakfast is healthful and excellent. Two small items installed in the rooms would add to the comfort of guests, a hot pot and a table lamp. Great value for the price.

I previously spent my 2 recoveries from eye surgery here where every kindness and assistance was offered. This visit was for my 6 month exam and a fun shopping a adventure with my friend. The location was excellent, breakfast excellent and facilities immaculately clean and bright. The grand adobe structure provides quietness from minimal city traffic for a great night's sleep. • Pedro (9/5): Comfortable and quiet hotel with great staff - Simple but very good place to stay. Staff is incredible nice and will make your stay as comfortable as at home. Room spacious, very clean, hot shower and all hotel very safe. Good location at La Mariscal in a quiet street, just 2 blocks from the bus station to the center, 3 blocks away from supermarket and plenty of restaurants in the area. Breakfast for $3.5 with plenty of options. Kitchen well equipped. The only little thing I would suggest is to add some heater or A/C in the rooms. Everything else is great.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel. A bit noisy at night both from the street (car alarms, etc.) as well as from other visitors in the patio and hallways after 9pm. Internet was very good and fast. The main issue was with the showers, which have very week water power. Also you will either burn yourself alive or freeze to death under the shower. There is no middle point.

We had read negative comments about her but had no problems. No one speaks English but we were able to get very good instructions about how to get places with good directions. She provided us with a map and marked locations for us and wrote down the proper bus to take. She also told us the maximum to pay taxis. Breakfast was fresh and sufficient.

A little Spanish would be helpful because the staff’s English is very limited, but that doesn’t detract from the service provided. When I had some trouble with the hot water, the woman working that shift literally ran to the hot water heater to fix the problem. Location is quiet and seems safe. You have to buzz in to enter the hotel area. Still only a few blocks from the tourist area of Foch Plaza. The breakfast is typical for Ecuador and tasty. Eggs, juice, fruit, bread and cheese are normally offered. All in all a pretty decent value for what you pay. I’d stay again if I’m in Quito in the future.
