The rooms are quite old, and they need updating. Staff are kind and are helpful. It would be useful to have mosquito nets . The in house restaurant is very good.

The hotel feels romantic, surrounded by nature and a stunning giant tree by the Ping River. Rooms are clean, uniquely Lanna style, and breakfast is delicious with great variety.

The only slight dislike was a lack of storage and we had to be careful when walking towards the bed because it was very solid and on a couple of occasions banged up against it.

• Ruby (10/5): Amazing, wish I was still there! - This place is definitely romantic! The staff is so lovely and the grounds are so beautiful! We had lovely dinners at the river side and enjoyed happy hour at the pool. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated the small presents on the bed every night. What also made our stay very comfortable was the what’s app service they offered. You could ask for anything and they assisted you within a heartbeat. On the day of departure I realised I forgot something which I mentioned through what’s app and they we so kind to send it to my next destination. It arrived within 24 hours! Thank you Grace!! • Claire (10/5): Exceptional stay at the Na Nirand Romantic Boutique Hotel! - We loved our time at the Na Nirand Romantic Boutique Resort, the staff were so welcoming, kind and really helpful. Our room was spacious and really comfortable and the bathroom had a walk-in shower and bath. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, really delicious selection of fresh fruit, pastries, hot dishes and a station where you could order omelettes, and any other type of eggs, which were freshly prepared for each order. There is a lovely pool area with chairs and it felt really peaceful after the busy streets of Chiang Mai. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to a huge night market, which has an incredible selection of food stalls, clothing and souvenirs. We really didn't want to leave, and hope to be back in the not too distant future. A big thank you to all the staff at the Na Nirand for making our stay so special.

Die Lage des Restaurants direkt am Fluss ist wunderschön und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die lokalen Frühstücksvarianten – sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer waren aufgrund der vielen Bäume etwas dunkel. Das übrige Essen hat unseren Geschmack nicht ganz getroffen und wurde leider nicht immer heiß genug serviert.

Everything from the cocktails to the food (shoutout the Christmas Eve dinner!) were excellent. We loved the Time staff as well as all of the front desk agents (shoutout Beam for being so lovely every single day since arrival!). Our trip was made extra special with all of the honeymoon details. Would definitely recommend!

We were given a cake for our occasion and another for an upcoming birthday. Rooms were cared for daily. Were given a point of contact as well! Her name is Kanyawee Beam. She was awesome and knows a lot about the area. I highly recommend this place for couples coming to just relax, but also to do sightseeing.

For our belated anniversary stay they upgraded us and Beam(BB) looked after us brilliantly for our 3 days. Stunning room, bar and restaurant with an excellent pool area. As many of the reviews mention, it is the staff who made our stay truly memorable. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and always tried to go the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. All the concierge team, in particular, were really helpful in providing advice on the best things to do and see, as well as other restaurants to try too. They couldn’t have made organising our trips easier. The resort itself is a tranquil bubble only a short walk from the old town and markets of Chiang Mai. It’s beautifully designed and the pool area very relaxing. The restaurant was also brilliant and had lovely views overlooking the river. We had a wonderful stay at Na Nirand and will hopefully return in the future.

Really happy and cheerful and always wanted to please. A lot of nice little personal touches. Convenient for night bazar and 30 mins walk to old town.

We booked two rooms — one upgraded suite and one regular room — and both were super comfortable and beautifully designed. The resort itself is stunning, with a gorgeous style and very well-maintained grounds. The staff were absolutely wonderful — so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We asked for a late check-out, and they arranged it right away without any hassle. My room even came with a complimentary bottle of wine and plenty of snacks, which was such a nice surprise! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, and luxurious place to relax, I can’t recommend this resort enough. Beam, part of their hospitality team, went above and beyond to make the trip memorable with a special request to surprise my wife. They surpassed all my expectations, and the food was incredible - sort of a hidden gem for the area. Walking distance to the night shops, this was the best surprise of a resort for our trip.

The hotel is a boutique romantic escape right on the river — peaceful, lush, and full of charm. Every morning we had breakfast on the patio overlooking the water, surrounded by massive trees that made the whole property feel like a private bungalow oasis. Our room was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and the shower was huge with great water pressure (such a win after long travel days!). But what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we met was kind, thoughtful, and eager to help — whether offering local recommendations or simply checking in to make sure we were happy. We felt genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, take it all in, and never want to leave. Highly, highly recommend Na Nirand if you’re visiting Chiang Mai.
• Escape39774551144 (10/5): Best Hotel in Chiang Mai - From the moment we arrived at Na Nirand, we were welcomed by several staff members in such a genuine way, we were totally taken aback. It didn’t feel like standard hotel hospitality. There was an earnestness that made us feel like family. The Loy Krathong dinner featured a delicious buffet and cultural show with exhibits. Breakfast each morning was included and featured a buffet and made to order egg options and pancakes/waffles that were very yummy. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and had daily snacks and drinks included. The pool is absolutely stunning and on a hot Thai afternoon it’s crystal cold water was so refreshing. Although the entire staff was amazing, a special shout out to to Beam. She was so gracious and so helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything at all. We would absolutely stay here again. Cannot recommend Na Nirand enough.

• chantreare (10/5): INCREDIBLE STAY - We stayed at Na Nirand once back in August to get an idea of the service and we came back in October with ALL our friends and family for our wedding !! And what can I say ? From the first time we stayed there, Chompoo and her team did not disappoint. The location is very nice, you get the view of the Ping River, very quiet, but not too far from the old town. The food is absolutely delicious, from breakfast, lunch and wedding dinner everything was so good ! The service is perfect, it can be compared ( if not better ) to any big hotel names. The staff is very nice, they are always here to help. We have stayed in different room categories, and they are without exception clean, spacious, and beds are super comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough ! Again thank you to the incredible F&B team, housekeeping team, reception team, sales team. You are the best !

Room was on the smaller side and we personally prefer to be a bit farther from a pool. Great distance from the airport (not far) and although you could walk into the main town you may not want to always. Taxis and tuk tuks while not too expensive can add up.

The hotel is very homie yet make you feel luxurious in their room and amenities. The staff are very friendly and genuinely kind. They are going above and beyond and make you are theirs priority. The room is spacious and clean. The facility is so green and has great scent of tropical flowers. The breakfast was amazing and there are variety of Western and Asian choices. Their cocktails are fabulously delicious. We are enjoying every moment and we will come back.
