• chabrias (10/5): Perfect location, friendly team, modern design. - Perfect location in the center of the city. Very friendly team at the reception. Rooms are big comparing with same category hotels, and are very clean. The building was a former factory and the design is minimalist and modern. WiFi efficient. For travellers arriving early or departing late lockers at disposal with a shower. The rates are fair for Palma center. Highly recommended if luxury is not your main option.

The hotel is in a great location with loads of great bars and restaurants nearby. I would recommend booking the superior double room which is located at the front of the hotel and has a great balcony for relaxing on after a day of exploring Palma.

We received a lot of useful information about the city from the manager, which completely updated our plan for a short trip to Mallorca. We are very grateful! The downside is that the walls are very thin and we heard loud neighbours next wall, but maybe we were unlucky :) I really recommend/

After hours of calls and emails to both the property and Expedia, we got check-in instructions at 10:30 pm even though I messaged the hotel a week earlier and called them to let them know that we would sauce after 5 pm, the time they close their counter. Otherwise the apartment was well located, clean and the person at the front desk was nice and apologetic (although blaming the problems on Expedia which they weren't). Their online check-in process is also very bad and was sent last minute.

• Agnesa (10/5): Kurztrip erfolgreich in Palma im Brick Hotel - Ein schönes, gepflegtes und sauberes Hotel. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Ich war mit meinen Freundinnen da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, alles was du benötigst findest du dort. Auch waren Restaurants, Bars in deiner Umgebung. Du bist in wenigen Minuten auf dem Plaza Major. Es war echt alles perfekt für unseren kurztrip, auch Check in sollte eigentlich ab 15 Uhr sein, jedoch haben die uns direkt nachdem wir angekommen sind reingelassen. Des Weiteren haben sie uns per WhatsApp mitteilen lassen, dass wir jederzeit schreiben können, falls etwas sein sollte. Wir bedanken uns!

• Ceren (10/5): Perfectly good hotel - Hotel is at a great location, staff was very helpful and polite, our room was clean and got everything we needed-even an extra bed on the upper floor:) There is a luggage room and a courtesy bathroom that you can use after check out which was very helpful and super clean. We would like to stay again at the Brick Palma.

• 423antonys (6/5): a bit disappointed - Our delayed flight from Gatwick meant we arrived after the reception closed at 5pm. There had been good communication from the hotel by email and WhatsApp and we had been sent instructions for access if we arrived later than 5pm. These instructions worked fine but unfortunately the keys to both our rooms did not work and we had to call the emergency number for assistance; not what you want when you have been travelling all day. After this was rectified and we accessed our rooms we were quite surprised at how basic they were; bare concrete floors, a very unforgiving fluorescent strip light overhead, a mini fridge with two small bottles of water and no glasses to drink from [in our room], no mirror other than the one above the sink in the bathroom and towels which were clean but had the texture of rough sandpaper. On the plus side, the AC was very good and the beds were very comfortable. There is a lift to the upper floors which was very necessary as it was extremely hot and the stairs are too much if you have heavy bags to carry. After a full day out the next day, we returned to freshen up for the evening and AGAIN our room keys didn't work and, as it was after 5pm, we had the same situation as before, waiting for someone to come and fix the problem; very frustrating as it was over 30 degrees outside and we just wanted a shower. When we finally gained access to the rooms they had been made up but the towels were not replaced, neither was the water replaced in the fridge. I don't know if this is Brick policy but perhaps that is something that should be considered in future. Also, bring your own toiletries for the shower as the ones provided smelled awful. On the street below the hotel rooms, there is a very popular bar which we enjoyed very much. This bar doubles as the hotel reception. The bar staff were excellent and very friendly. The general location is very good for exploring Palma on foot and there are some really good places to eat a short walk from the hotel so we ate some excellent meals over the weekend we were in staying. So, overall, a great weekend in Palma but I can only rate the Brick rooms as average. My suggestion would be that perhaps the reception should be staffed at all times that there are guests staying - closing the reception at 5pm really isn't acceptable.

• rosemarymO1620GW (8/5): A lot to like but too noisy - There’s a lot to like about this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice room with comfortable bed and good shower. The luggage storage and shower facilities were very welcome as we had a late flight home on our last day. Unfortunately our room was directly above the extremely noisy bar. We knew there was a bar but assumed it was for the use of guests only, which was not the case, and it is open to all (despite notices on the tables outside to the contrary). We couldn’t even sit out on our balcony and hold a conversation due to the music, shouting, barking dogs and crying babies. The smoke fumes weren’t very pleasant either. When the outside space eventually closes the activity, including an inexplicable amount of furniture moving, continues indoors. Also tea making facilities would have been nice but not a major problem. All in all we wouldn’t return to this hotel as the noise kept us awake til after midnight during the week and after 2am at the weekend.
• katiemL4999RY (8/5): Great location and value. - Great location, good value. So friendly and very secure. Loft room perfect for stopovers with kids! They find the room such fun! An amazing base from which to explore Palma. Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room or breakfast options. Loved it had a fridge though.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location to explore Palma - Excellent location in the centre of Palma. A lot of the main sights are within walking distance, and so are the train / bus station and Soller railway. Self check-in was very easy, and we were able to leave our luggage in a free, secure storage room to explore Palma more after check-out. The room was very quiet at night, even though it faced the street, and the hotel has a bar downstairs. However, we could hear voices from nearby rooms, suggesting the walls are quite thin. Not ideal when it happens early in the morning. The main negative was the uncomfortable bed. The pillows were too low, and the bed itself squeaked a lot even with normal turning over during the night, so we did not sleep well. Other than that, we felt the room was nice and spacious.

Also you can smell the cigarette smoke from the bar area if the windows are open. We had to close the windows to get rid of both the issues. Location is decent.

• J4587DKjims (10/5): A fabulous hidden gem - From the very helpful lady on reception when we arrived to the housekeeping staff we bumped into on the corridor one morning, everyone was cheerful and helpful. We took their recommendations for eating out which were first rate and although breakfast isn’t offered there is plenty of choice within a few minutes walk.

• I3157YOjenniferr (6/5): Stay for cancelled flight - We stayed at this hotel because our flight was cancelled because of the weather. The hotel was very very basic however we only paid 40 pounds for the night which we felt was ok as it was very clean, the bathroom was also good I feel if it was for one night the hotel is fine but would not stay any longer then that The room felt like it had not been finished off the worst thing was the floor which was just pure concrete there was no tea if coffee making facilities the walls were flaking everywhere and the walls were paper thin you could hear everything in other rooms. As I say for one night in an emergency it is ok if paying small amount but would not stay longer or pay more.
• ashmeets2020 (2/5): Worst Experience ever! - I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was the worst experience ever. I had my purse stolen from the hotel, and when I asked the management about it, they were no help at all. We told the management that we do not feel safe here, and they couldn't care less. The cleaning staff was also of no help. I could tell that the hotel had a really bad vibe, and I would never stay there again. It's just not worth it to risk having your belongings stolen.
• anikam1612 (4/5): Unprofessional management, nice rooms - I stayed here in August 2022 with a few friends. The rooms are lovely, but the management and operations of the hotel were very disorganised, whuch ruined our stay. I found the place to be unprofessional. For example, I emailed to book a car park space in advance and I got no reply for 3 weeks, so I called the hotel directly to make the booking. However, when I arrived at 11pm, the car park space had not been reserved, and we were up until 1 am, looking for a place to park the car. We also paid for 3 people in advance of our stay via lastminute.com, but when we arrived they said we had only paid for 2 people and we had to argue with the receptionist late at night, despite having proof of the booking.

• alan (10/5): $ nights in Palma - Great hotel in the middle of the old town. At first glance seems to be in the middle of nothing but all main sites, bars etc less than 10 mins waling. This is a converted factory so a bit different. Our room was really big with a great walk in shower. We were above the bar but the walls are so thick we heard nothing. The bar its self is really quirky and busy with a great atmosphere. Perfect for the end of the night ( or the beginning } Definitely worth a visit.

Room has raw concrete walls and floors, but it looks lazy, not modern and purposeful industrial. Same with hallway. Shower doors wouldn't close properly. Screw holes and exposed screws in bathroom. Occacional brown leakage under sink. Maintenance needed. No front desk, only got instructions via WhatsApp. Only positive is location and there was no noise despite sharing the building with a bar.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Could be better - Brick is quite a cool place to stay and is very central to lots of things. The room was nice but... Our issue was we booked a room specifically with 3 beds as we were 3 siblings traveling. When we arrived there were only two beds in the room. We contacted the hotel via WhatsApp but got no response. The Aircon in our room also was totally ineffective so we had 2 very hot and restless nights.
• Gianr15 (6/5): Great facilities and room shame about the noise from the bar. - It’s a shame as this was heading to a 4/5 star review. We loved the room and facilities - fantastic shower - and the staff were very friendly. Check in etc easy. Location for city access great and some very nice places for breakfast - particularly the cyclists’ cafe. However, we had a front facing room over the bar and the noise was intense. We didn’t mind too much on the first two nights as the bar closed at midnight, but on Friday it was open till 02.00am. and it was riotously noisy at times. We had to get up at 03.00 am and we got no sleep at all, none. It was a real Friday night party crowd, good natured and fun, but absolutely impossible to get any sleep. The bar is also open till 02.00am on Saturday night I believe and is directly below the two front facing rooms. I was genuinely surprised at this apparent shortcoming. I’d ask about this if you consider booking a room here. It really feels as if they are shooting themselves in the foot as I couldn’t stay here again for worry of ending up in one of these rooms. It would be a good idea to have instructions for using the safe as I had to message for instructions (very prompt and pleasant replies) but in the end I gave up for fear of locking my passport in the safe and not being able to access it immediately. I couldn’t find any non Spanish channels on the TV which was a shame as I like to catch up on news etc. So, a lovely hotel but in our experience, the noise from the bar took the edge off our stay and that’s a shame.

A un paso de todo, de la parada del bus del aeropuerto, de la catedral , de la estacion intermodal...genial -Tuvimos un problema con la llave y se portaron muy bien con nosotros y muy rapidos para solucionar. -Dos almohadas por persona q eso es un extra - Lo de las taquillas gratis para dejar la maleta durante el dia de salida es estupendo y todo un detalle , incluso hay un baño q puedes utilizar para cambiarte o ducharte antes de ir al aeropuerto. Me pareció un detallazo para el cliente Es un hotel muy pequeño con muy pocas habitaciónes , asi q es muy tranquilo. Solo q por la noche se complica por el bar/pub q hay abajo. Tiene una puerta como de salida de emergencia que da a la escalera del hotel y por ahi entra todo el sonido.se escucha un poco pero tampoco es una exageración. Es lo único a nombrar como regular. Pero por la demas....pienso repetir . Calidad precio sin duda estupendo .

Men kunne godt have brugt at vide på forhånd, at der var et hovedhotel med reception 100 m derfra. Havde kun fået st vide, at man kunne henvende sig pr tlf eller mail, hvis behov for hjælp.

• fb1951 (4/5): Disappointing - I would not class this establishment as a 'hotel' but rather as 'rooms' (and functional, but stark, at that). As a solo traveller, I had been looking for somewhere that would have a restaurant/cafe/bar attached that I could make use of in the evenings. I can find no indication from my original enquiry/booking that the bar/cafe at Brick was closed due to the pandemic. The place seems to pride itself currently on "contactless check-in" which, to my mind, translates as face-less (the only staff I bumped into in five days was a chambermaid on her way in to work). Wifi was very poor, despite the efforts of a member of staff at a sister property, Josemari Youth Hostel, to help. On the plus side, the place is very close (albeit via trial and error) to the centre of the old town, and the power shower was fabulous!

Drinks very reasonable priced and a top service Centrally located for all the sites of Palma, close to Loco Wheels for our Lambretta hire

I forgot a bag in my room, and they went to find it and sent a cab with it to the airport for me! Only things I didn't enjoy were the construction next door and the cafe right downstairs, which gets quite loud at night. It did quiet down, however, so that sleeping wasn't a problem.

Der var meget lydt, så vi blev vækket af naboer der kom hjem midt om natten. Ingen brandvej, og den annoncerede tagterrasse holdt totalt lukket gennem hele opholdet. Besværligt at skulle ringe efter hjælp, da der ingen reception var. På den gode side: god placering i byen, dejlig bruser, og adgang til skabe til bagage ved tidlig ankomst. Men IKKE noget, vi vil anbefale til nogen.

• Lidia (6/5): Nice design, but more a bunker than a hotel - Maybe we weren't particularly lucky but our room felt like a bunker. The window in the corner let in little to no light. The room itself was nicely designed. The bathroom felt outdated. Unfortunately there's construction work going on right outside the window so I was glad we only stayed one night. Otherwise our stay was alright. The communication was friendly and efficient. We got a baby bed for free and the parking garage wasn't overpriced and really convenient.

I asked for an early check in, which they confirmed over the booking platform - confirming that I would receive the details via whatsapp that same morning. We did receive the details but the room was not ready early, we went to pick up the room key as indicated and it was not activated until 3 pm, so we had to leave again with our suitcases to sightsee the city and come back later. We could not use the luggage storage room because despite they have lockers, they can be opened with ANY of the other keys! Rooms did not seem to be very ventilated between guests either! Very disappointing!

• Dajiahao (10/5): Fantástico! - Stayed here for a two night city break and got a Superior Room with balcony. The Covid situation means that quite a few things were missing and or closed but that not stopped us from really enjoying our stay. It was extremely clean, all precautionary measures taken and very nice and helpful staff. In the heart of Palma 5 mins walk from the Main square and shopping areas, supermarkets and restaurants all within 5 mins walking distance. Highly recommended for a stay in Palma!

• D (10/5): Amazing Brick Palma - Lovely wee hotel situated in heart of Palma. Staff were so helpful, room was immaculate and check in and out was easy Peary. Would definitely stay again.

Doch ein kleines Detail ist nicht zu verachten.Es sind die abschließbaren Blechschränke,die unüberhörbar einem den Schlaf rauben wenn sie geöffnet oder verschlossen werden.Hier gebe es bestimmt noch eine Alternative.Auch die Verriegelung der Badezimmertür könnte etwas anders gestaltet sein um sich nicht das Handgelenk zu verdrehen.Wer mit etwas abstriche eine günstige Bleibe sucht ist hier an der richtigen Adresse zumal es noch eine Bar nebendrann gibt.

• Mika (8/5): Palma Brick Hotel Apartment - Nice stay middle of the city. Separate apartment: 2 sleeping room and kitchen/living room, 2 bathroom. Clean and cozy.

• M (8/5): - All in all it was good. Location is excellent! The room with its facilities as well. But they should provide the information in advance that there is a cleaning fee (approx. 30€) which has to be paid upon check in. If I had know this before I would have chosen a cheaper hotel. Moreover, the check in time should be earlier (it’s at 3 pm).
• Neil (10/5): Nice hotel in great location - Hotel is lovely, great value for money. Cool little roof area where you can chill with a coffee, beer or glass of wine. Rooms are a good size, very clean, nice bathroom with rainhead shower. Food on offer is basic but adequate for breakfast. Very well priced . Would definitely stay again

• Verified traveler (6/5): Ok for the price - Budget accommodation with mainly younger guests. Most staff seemed to be travellers/long holiday themselves and with a fairly unprofessional attitude. Location is good so if you’re looking for a budget option it’s not bad for the price. Got a bar, close to the town and 10 minutes to the beach.
• Dorka (10/5): More than expected - I am giving 5 stars, because it is better than I expected. First of all it looks super new, or super recently renovated. Design elements are fun. Dorm room was rather spacious. Bed perfect size, you can sit up in the bottom bunk beds!!!! Also matrasse not worn down, not too soft, but not really hard to, was comfy for me. There's even a fun little foldable mini bed side lamp, plus a place to use as bed side table. There's an "in room" bathroom with all. (suprise for me, who expected share bathrooms per floors) The water temperature pressure was good! Staff amazing. From the always flirting waiter, with the smiling, helpful receptionist, to the attentive night shift. Only two negatives I could find were cleanliness and neighbourhood. Dust, hair on floor, under bed, mold in bathroom on the showerhead. Neighbours bit noisy (enjoying drinks), bit nosy (peaking in the window). And the surrounding houses are almost all torn apart. (under renovation?) Will return later with friends for sure! We have to try bike rental and rooftop terrace.
• Anil (8/5): Brick Hotel, Palma, Mallorca - Excellent friendly multi-lingual service, was able to leave my case there prior to check-in, the accomodation is typical hostel in that you get a bunk which was comfortable, clean sheets including a towel, a bunk side light & power point and a locker with key, the locker was big enough for a standard cabin flight suitcase and smaller bag, security card lock on internal doors typical of most hotels, pin code lock on front door after midnight, the toilet & shower facilities were all excellent working order better than most hotels I've stayed at... Plus FREE WiFi which was fast and worked throughtout the building There is a bar, glass of red wine cost €2.50 and reasonablly priced breakfast which I didn't take up so no further comment The industrial/warehouse look with regards to the decor doesn't reflect the comfort and cost Locationwise, you are in the middle of Palma, short walks to all the tourist spots, bars, restaurants and close to transport links, 3min walk to nearest bus stop for the airport shuttle service etc.
• Steve (10/5): - Excellent city hotel, convenient, with easy drive out to the airport in the morning. There is an excellent burger restaurant 100m to the north.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 3 night stay in May - Hotel in an area undergoing major renovation. Quirky charm of a buzzing bar and young staff works well. Curfew of midnight means that guests are not inconvenienced. Choice of breakfasts welcome and reasonably priced. 3 star rating matched by room facilities. Excellent location for old town Palma eating and exploring.
