- MustardKing (10/5): Best hotel in Sevilla! - Had the absolute pleasure of staying at this gorgeous, intimate property during Holy Week / Semana Santa and strongly recommend this hotel without hesistation. Lucia, Pablo, Hugo, Samuel and the whole team anticipated needs, assisted in many ways with skill and empathy and overwhelmed us with their kindness and professionalism. Our room up the stairs on the first floor had a small terrace on which to watch the late-night processions and overlooked the beautiful courtyard lobby - it was tastefully decorated, spacious and clean with a great bathroom and shower. Very convenient location and walkable to many of Seville's historical spots yet off the beaten path enough to be a quiet respite from the city. We can't wait to return!
- Daniel (10/5): - Great location, very luxurious, concierge was brilliant Noise from loading bay at 7am
- nicolesB6736UL (10/5): True Sevilla Hospitality - The hotel was beautiful, modern and clean. Every member of the staff was warm and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What truly made our experience extra special, though, was the concierge, Pablo. We arrived with very little planning, and he guided us every step of the way with incredible care and attention. He even went above and beyond by recommending venues for our wedding—and in the end, we chose one of his suggestions! His kindness and dedication perfectly captured the true spirit of Sevilla hospitality.
- Macarena (8/5): - hotel pequeño con pocas ammenities pero muy lindo, muy bien atendido por la recepcion y muy limpio y bien ubicado
- 367christerb (10/5): Hotel perfection in a perfect location - This is an amazing intimate and hotel. The building and the interior is stunningly beautiful and tastefully decorated. The room itself was spectacular and the staff impressed with their service from check-in tro
- jimmZ8421RE (10/5): Best place to stay in Sevilla - My wife and I enjoyed three nights at the Mercer during Semana Santa. The hotel is great. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The decor is a perfect blend of the old palace and modern, very cool. One word of caution, if coming during Semana Santa be sure you know what you are getting into and arrive at the hotel before 7:30pm (earlier would be better).
The service is superb. Lucia at the front desk was outstanding. She was very welcoming and helpful. Our flight was delayed 5 hours so we did not make it to Sevilla until around 9pm. Lucia called to make sure that we were ok. Without her guidance we never would have made it to the hotel through the Semana Santa crowds.
Without a doubt this is the best place to stay in Sevilla.
- Seaside787356 (10/5): Stellar Staff - The hotel was lovely and the staff was so accommodating and helpful!
- J9385DVjanep (10/5): Amazing perfect hotel - Hotel Mercer was the perfect hotel in seville city centre. Walking distance to many attractions. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was fabulous as it was so peaceful and quiet. Very stylish and an amazing staircase. Cost slightly more than I would've liked but so well worth every penny. Spotlessly clean with a great ambience. All staff were extremely helpful and polite. Always had time for us and loved a chat. Breakfast was stunning and delicious. Definitely a superb 5 star hotel with everything you need . Would most definitely return. Thankyou.
- jeannelyles (10/5): A favorite hotel! - Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city on a quaint square. Service, staff, food, beds, amenities, views, are all top notch. A wonderful experience.
- anaisg477 (10/5): Luxury and comfort in the heart of Seville - I stayed at Hotel Mercer Sevilla and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a really elegant design but still feels warm and welcoming.
The room was spacious, very comfortable, and everything was spotless. The staff were amazing — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything.
It’s in a perfect location, right in the center but still quiet at night, which I really appreciated. I felt very well taken care of during my stay. Definitely a place I would come back to

- KimbersW11 (10/5): A luxurious, intimate hotel in the heart of Seville bustling centre - We recently stayed at the Mercer Hotel in Seville and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—right in the centre of the city, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and exploring everything Seville has to offer.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with elegant public spaces that were always immaculate. The fresh flower displays throughout the property were genuinely outstanding and added a luxurious touch to the atmosphere.
We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom was beautiful, and the nightly turndown service was consistently flawless.
As a Platinum Life member with another hotel group, and with many years of experience both travelling for business and pleasure—and having trained customer service teams myself—I have a clear sense of what exceptional service looks and feels like. The Mercer absolutely delivers on this.
The staff are truly the hotel’s greatest asset. They always had time for a friendly chat, offered excellent recommendations, and, most impressively, anticipated our individual preferences remarkably quickly. At breakfast, items we liked would appear without us having to ask. In the room, personal touches were added with the same level of attention. One particularly memorable moment was meeting a staff member in the lift who was already bringing me tea and fresh milk before I had even requested it—because they had noticed what I enjoyed. Small gestures like this are rare, and they elevate the entire experience.
While the hotel’s ambience and décor are stunning, it’s the warmth, professionalism, and intuition of the team that truly make the Mercer special.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for looking after us and making us feel so welcome. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and look forward to returning.
- Stefan (10/5): Wir kommen gerne wieder.
- Kee Thai (9/5): - The dinning experience in the hotel is very good.
- 799deg (10/5): One of the Best Stay in our Life. - our experience at Mercer was totally awesome. the service was impeccable. Pablo and Samuel were two of the best front desk we have met. Friendly and courteous. the hotel is clean, high ceiling in the rooms with great atmosphere. the stay here made our trip at Sevilla. Location if few blocks away from sight seeing. We hope we will be back soon. offered free cake and champagne for my wife's birthday. we also got offered 2 free drinks at the lobby, but didn't realize we had it till later. The property itself has some history to it as well.
- Rahul (10/5): Excellent quality and service. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm back in Seville - Exceptionally beautiful and spacious rooms with high ceilings. Service was top quality throughout. The staff took special care of us during our 2nd anniversary trip and we cannot thank them enough. The technology is be a bit dated but that is analogous with th old European style lodging experience

- 781tracyq (10/5): The best hotel in Sevilla! - Our stay at Hotel Mercer Sevillawas simply exceptional. From the very first moment!
The hotel itself is stunning — elegant, charming, and beautifully designed — but what truly makes it outstanding is the people. The staff are absolutely extraordinary: attentive, warm, professional, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. They consistently anticipated our needs and paid attention to every small detail, making everything effortless and perfect.
We would especially like to highlight the kindness, dedication, and passion of the entire team. Their commitment to excellence and heartfelt hospitality made our stay not only comfortable and relaxing, but truly unforgettable.
We cannot wait to return and will wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone we know. A perfect 10 in every way!
- Kilts101 (10/5): Beautiful hotel with helping friendly staff, great location too! - After researching hotels in Seville city centre we chose the Mercer as it has a smaller number of rooms.. It is located on a quiet street but within a couple of minutes walk to many lovely restaurants and about 10 minutes walk to the main shopping area. The hotel is beautifully appointed with excellent staff, from reception to waiting staff and a very helpful concierge. We stayed in a suite as a treat , not over large room but very well appointed with an excellent bathroom area that was spacious. The breakfast was very nice, we had the Mercer Breakfast, expensive for what it was but great quality and choice. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel, if you are looking for something beautiful with friendly staff and excellent service.

- Road22282921171 (10/5): A hotel with excellent service - I travel a lot, but the city of Seville is without a doubt unique, and the Hotel Mercer Seville 5 GL is an establishment of exceptional quality.
The hotel is located right in the city center, and we can walk to all the tourist areas.
The hotel’s magnificent building, dating from the 19th century, is very beautiful, and its rooms are both modern and comfortable.
The hotel’s service was truly excellent. Since the number of rooms is limited, the staff is entirely available to the guests.
The hotel’s price is quite reasonable given the quality and service offered.
Without a doubt, you will leave completely satisfied.

- Explorer696253 (10/5): Luxurious stay in Sevilla. - Mercer Hotel Sevilla was outstanding. The service was impeccable from start to finish. We were running late for a tour so they valet parked our car and took our bags to the rooms while we were away. When we returned, we formally checked in and they helped us find a great place to dine. The rooms were large and spacious and elegantly appointed. We also were treated to the Mercer signature cocktail which was delicious! Location in the heart of historic Sevilla. 10 out of 10 experience!
- SteveV8463 (10/5): a well curated stay - Pablo, the head concierge, and his team curated a perfect trip for us to Seville. They were very responsive to our requests by email before arriving and helped us fully plan our three day stay. From talented private tour guides (for the real alcazar and the Cathedral) to excellent restaurant recommendations, we had a terrific time over the full course of our trip. The hotel staff was accommodating regarding last minute changes to our schedule and the service overall was exemplary. Thank you for your thoughtful attention.

- M4541EKrobertd (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel experience - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Mercer Sevilla. The hotel is in a grand villa that sparkles. Our suite was elegant, comfortable, and totally up to date. The amenities were great as were the various perks included with our room.
The location of the hotel can’t be beat: It is the old town, a ten minute walk to the cathedral, conducive to strolling and convenient to charming streets, shops, and restaurants. Seville as a whole is a walker's delight and everything is within 20-25 minutes of this hotel.
What really stood out about our stay, though, was the kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff. The desk staff gave us great recommendations for restaurants tailored to our desires, and arranged prime seats for us at a flamenco venue in Treana. We felt truly cared for. I would return in a heartbeat.
- R192ZAgaryw (10/5): Great staff, comfortable stay. - Staff were very helpful finding local restaurants and artisan shops, and making reservations for us. The location was ideal for walking to points of interest. The hotel itself is modern and beautiful inside and a vary comfortable place to stay.

Unparalleled service in an historic setting, a true self-indulgent respite in the center of Sevilla’s bustling historic area. With just eleven very well appointed a large rooms our every need was anticipated and the staff all exceptionally helpful and friendly. This hotel is an extraordinary oasis in a wonderful city!

- 262niteshp (10/5): Mercer Hotel, Seville - Hotel staff provided an excellent hospitality throughout our 3 nights stay at this hotel. We had a great welcome and gesture experience. Room was very nice and well equipped. This place is located very close to main attractions and walking distance to all you want to do in Seville. Highly recommend whoever visiting to this city.
- Nitesh (10/5): - Excellent service and hospitality.
- H1687QLrichm (10/5): Great service and comfort - The staff, services and rooms at the Mercer are simply top notch - the best. From the moment you step into the relaxed, calming hotel and you're greeted by the staff you feel comfortable and all the inconveniences of travel leave you.
The concierge set us up with dinner reservations at different restaurants - all easily walkable from the hotel and got us entrance tickets to the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar - taking the stress out of planning our days and evenings.
The room was perfect - high ceilings and a truly comfortable bed made us feel like we were in one of the castles we had toured over the past week. All the little things such as fresh towels through the day, laying out linen next to the bed and closing the window shades each night so you get a great night of sleep.
The entire facility is spotless - from the entry alcove to the roof deck. Because it is off the main roads, it is quiet and calm.
I will absolutely select this hotel again when I travel back to Seville.
- HLMToronto (10/5): 5* Hotel, 6* Service - I rarely write reviews unless a hotel stands out either good or bad.
Our travel agent, who we worked with for years knows we prefer smaller high end boutique hotels and recommended the Mercer Seville.
The hotel is located on a quiet street in the heart of the old town minutes from many of the main attractions and restaurants. Originally a palace/mansion, the hotel blends historic exterior charm with modern classic interior elegance. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean with a fresh modern feel.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was super kind and efficient making us feel special.
Pablo and the concierge team were outstanding, not only arranging reservations, private cars excursions, and tickets for Seville attractions, but also offering excellent recommendations for our excursions beyond the Seville. Their attention to detail and follow up was exceptional.
Dining at the hotel was quality and wonderful. They have very small restaurant that offered a daily well presented breakfasts. We also had dinner one evening which we also thoroughly enjoyed. A special mention goes to Veronica, whose gracious service and warmth made every meal a delight.
I can say enough about Samuel and the reception team. On our very first night, we faced a small personal medical emergency. Despite it being a Saturday evening, Samuel went above and beyond to find us a doctor. He then called pharmacies across the city to find which was open and had the medication we required. He spoke to the pharmacist on our behalf and arranged transportation to and from the pharmacy and personally ensured we were cared for. The following days he and many staff followed up to check on us, showing genuine compassion. This level of dedication and care is rare and truly appreciated.
The Mercer Seville is truly a hidden gem, a five* property that delivers six* service.
If you are looking for a boutique hotel that combines simple luxury with personal service I would highly recommend the Mercer Saville. This is a place we would return to without hesitation and recommend wholeheartedly.
- andreasZ5809GR (6/5): Mixed bag - I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On the positive side - there are only 11 rooms so it's quaint. The room was huge, with plenty of storage. There was a cute bar in the lobby and a nice room for breakfast. The location was perfect for walking around the city. The staff was nice but tried too hard. The things that bothered me - our bed faced a huge white wall - the room was set up weird. Although the room was huge, it just didn't feel right. The bathroom was big but there was only 1 sink. There was plenty of room for another sink. Also, the bathroom was all white - felt weird. It was hard to tell where the counter ended and the sink begin. You had to walk past the front desk every time you came in and out. This is where the "trying too hard" part of the front desk comes in. I felt like I needed to explain my comings and goings and was uncomfortable seeing the same people watch my every move. Finally, there was a couple who was staying a floor above us who had an ant problem. One morning when we left our room the couple had there luggage in the hallway spraying everything they owned with insect repellent. The woman was completely freaked out and showed us vide and pictures of the ants (100's) walking in and around their luggage. She said she woke up and they were on her bed. GROSS! They weren't thrilled with the way it was handled by the front desk - I never saw them again to see how the hotel dealt with the problem.
- LorraineP700 (2/5): Bugs ! Beware !!! Not 5 star ! - After a long travel day arrived to no hot water ! Woke up after 2nd night to bugs…. Swarming everywhere!!!!!!! Watch video . Were told this was “unusual”, given no apology , treated in a very condescending and arrogant way . Moved to a new room but bugs were now in our luggage ! We were provided with spray , had to dump our luggage in hall and spray everything down. Were offered complimentary laundry 🤣. Interesting it was so unusual but bug killer was very quickly available. Our experience was horrendous, I didn’t sleep a wink our final night , imagining bugs . Worst hotel experience ever , certainly not 5 star. Stay away from Mercer hotels
- DanGavrila (10/5): Beautiful stay! - Beautiful boutique hotel! Our concierge Pablo took care of all our reservations with awesome recommendations! Thank you
- Nicola (10/5): Fabulous - would stay again - Attentive and friendly staff. Great cocktail bar and rooftop pool. Beautiful decor and great location. Nothing

- H4031ANkatyb (10/5): Top Notch Boutique Hotel - Charming boutique hotel on a quiet street. It offers excellent customer service, well appointed rooms and prime location. Rooftop pool is a bonus! We did a Spain, Portugal trip and the whole family agreed that this was our favorite hotel. If we find ourselves in Seville again, we look forward to returning to the Mercer Hotel.

- Extraordinary258489 (10/5): Great hotel and friendly helpful staff - Lovely hotel and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a great location but very peaceful and quiet. Rooftop terrace and pool was very welcome in the heat of the day.

- Escape01764276165 (2/5): Absolutely Unacceptable Treatment of Guests in Medical Distress - Avoid This Hotel - I am compelled to share this disturbing experience at the Mercer Hotel Sevilla to warn other travelers about the shocking lack of basic human decency displayed by their staff.
What Happened:
On July 31st at approximately 2:00 PM, during extreme heat (45°C/113°F), I witnessed a medical emergency unfold outside the hotel. An American tourist - a well-dressed, polite woman - collapsed from heat exhaustion on the sidewalk directly in front of the hotel. Her elderly mother and adult daughter approached the front desk, security, and bar staff seeking basic humanitarian assistance: shade and a place to recover.
The Staff Response Was Appalling:
• Multiple staff members (front desk, security, two bartenders) categorically refused to provide any assistance
• When I, as a paying guest, asked them to show basic human compassion, they remained callous and dismissive
• When the recovered woman later returned to request staff names to report the incident to management, the situation escalated to verbal abuse
The Verbal Abuse:
The staff’s behavior crossed every line of professional conduct:
• Mocked the family openly with fake sympathy (“fake babes” when asked for help)
• Made cruel personal attacks about the woman’s appearance
• Used demeaning language that I won’t repeat in full
• Laughed at a family in genuine distress
• Lied about management availability
• Attempted to physically remove the woman while she was simply asking for accountability
My Response:
This treatment was so disgraceful that I immediately changed hotels. I could not continue supporting an establishment that treats people - especially those in medical distress - with such cruelty.
To Management:
If you’re reading this, your staff provided fake names, so I cannot identify the specific individuals. However, this occurred at 2:00 PM on July 31st and involved your front desk, security, and bar staff. This reflects catastrophically on your brand and basic human values.
To Fellow Travelers:
Sevilla has many beautiful, well-located hotels with staff who understand basic hospitality and human decency. The Mercer’s superficial luxury renovation cannot mask the poverty of character displayed by their employees. Choose literally anywhere else and enjoy the genuine warmth that Sevilla and its people are actually known for.
Bottom Line:
A hotel that refuses to help someone experiencing heat stroke on their doorstep, then verbally abuses them for asking for basic human decency, deserves no one’s business. Completely inexcusable.

- rendelh2021 (10/5): Simply wonderful - One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed! The facilities are amazing (exclusive, location, amenities), but the game changer for us was the service. The staff (and Pablo in specific) really did all they can to make our stay memorable.

The hotel only have 20 rooms for this it is very quite everywhere. The staff is really helpful, they treat you like family, the room is perfect, a lot of space, comfortable bed for 2 people+ the room is very clean. The concierge Pablo gave us grateful tipps where to go for sightseeing and good authentic spanish restaurants near by. We are sure to stay again in this hotel. Thanks a lot again to the staff for this unforgetable stay.
