- Philippe (8/5): Très agréable endroit pour une courte halte dans les Nilgiri Hills. - L'accueil et la gentillesse de tout le personnel.
Le style "heritage" des lieux. Rien en particulier!
- Daniel (9/5): Step back in time and bask in the comfort and serenity of Neemrana's Wallwood Garden house - An exceptionally comfortable stay at the Wallwood Garden house. Having stayed in the Eucalypt room, it had the coziness and charm that felt like staying with long lost-family, and I should have definitely stayed longer. Comfortable bed linen and peaceful mornings overlooking the garden. I loved the heritage feel and all staff were kind, accommodating and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and the house was in walking distance of Sim's Park which I really enjoyed. I will definitely stay again.
- Malavika (10/5): -
- Karen (10/5): Gorgeous heritage hotel - Beautiful heritage property with amazing staff. We had a a lovely old bedroom full of antiques. The food is great and the log fire was welcome. The garden is also lovely. A very special stay. Everything was great.
- ARUN KUMAR (7/5): -
- Büchele (4/5): - Eigentlich hat uns sehr wenig gefallen. Zimmer sind sehr klein und klamm. Ausstattung sehr altmodisch. WLAN sehr schlecht im Haus.
- Kalyani (8/5): Pleasant. - Old style and the location Breakfast could have been better
- Vineeta (10/5): calm peaceful and homely - Breakfast was simple. The locality is very good. Been there couple of times truly feels like home away from home for me now. i feel dinner could be better.

- ARUNIMA (8/5): I will stay in Wallwood Garden each time I go to Coonoor. I stayed there in 2006 and again 2025 - HOMELY food and homely atmosphere Staff and food as well as location
- Mrittika (10/5): -
- Senthil kumaran (10/5): - Great food. Had dinner . Excellent .
- Rahul (9/5): Great location to detox - The amazing place The room offered was smaller than expected and right next to the entrance, so the noise from the road, arriving/departing guests and people at entrance waiting area kept disturbing the otherwise extremely relaxing ambience
- Anand (10/5): Geetha and her team were extremely good in terms of customer service - The building aesthetics we’re extremely nice
- AVNISH (7/5): -
- Pooja (9/5): -
- Emmanual (7/5): It was good, nice people - Nice cozy place Not much of activities and food choice
- Ekta (9/5): -
- Nabila (10/5): Great food, great hospitality - Wallwood Garden is a homey heritage hotel - the kind you want to stay at when you want warmth and personal attention.
The charm of the property lies in the Neermana team that’s appointed to take care of you, and the attention to retaining the old-world elegance of the homestead. It doesn’t hurt that there’s so much greenery around it either. :)
The food was great too!
- Pallavi (8/5): Very good - Location and wonderful property Breakfast could have more options, food could be lot better
Especially for north indian taste it lacks expectations

- Swapnaa (9/5): A worthwhile stay. Would definitely recommend to friends - The ambience and the warmth Internet is a little erratic. Cancellation policy could be changed to be more customer friendly
- Goutam (8/5): Good - Beautiful heritage house , close to sims park It does not have a Great outdoor garden to sir and enjoy
- Sunitha_pai (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about Wallwood garden. The location was perfect, the stay, ambience and the top notch food. But beyond all we have to mention our heartfelt gratitude to the staff, Robin, Geetha, Chef and Prasanna who made our stay wonderful and as cosy as being at home. Our 8 years old son loved them and so did we and the 4 days we spent were really memorable. Will definitely visit again. Nothing, when you visit here, I'm sure you will fall in love with this place and people.
- Kislay (9/5): Superb -
- Aparna (9/5): Superb -
- Saji (8/5): Overall it was good - Good greenery and flowers. Good and friendly staff. Good ambience. No TV. Bed was too high
- Vishal (9/5): Relaxing, memorable stay at one of our favourite places -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Small heritage bungalow hotel walking distance to Sim’s Park - Lovely heritage property. Friendly staff. Reasonable choice of food cooked to order. We had a quieter room at the back of the property. Be aware that rooms at the front can be noisy as the hotel is on a busy main road.
- Aalim (6/5): Pleasant -
- Seema (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shailendra (10/5): - very nice property
- Manikanta (10/5): Exceptional - Hospitality, location, cozy room, delicious food
- Radhika (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (7/5): It was a nice stay, the property is well maintained and has a colonial feel to it. -
- Afrah (1/5): Not worth the price at all - I've stayed at other neemrana properties before and this one did not at all meet the mark. The price that this place charges is just not worth it. It's a small property where they have shoved in ten rooms and it only has a small garden so really there is no proper space to be. The property is also on the main road so you hear traffic and trucks - not what we wanted for our quiet getaway in the hills. The receptionist was extremely rude. We asked for a bonfire the first night and she gave us a curfew of 10 PM to sit in the garden as if it's a hostel ! On day two there was no milk (and hence no tea or coffee) available till 9 AM! The food is below average.
- Aparna (8/5): Very good -
- Sameer (6/5): Pleasant -
- Aswathy (8/5): Very good - The property is small cute, and rooms are really big. Nothing much to do in the property but it’s well connected to surrounding places.
The chef was good. Chicken rasam is a must try!
- Prakash (6/5): Pleasant -
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (10/5): Lovely place w period furniture and a beautiful garden - Beautiful and charming historical place in a quiet area with lovely views. The staff was helpful, efficient and kind. The manager was so kind as to include me into their Pongal (Thanksgiving) celebrations which was fabulous!
- Priyanka (8/5): Very good - Very courteous staff and the location is very close to SIMS part. It is great for people who enjoy hikes along the mountain roads and tea gardens. The breakfast options are good. Dinner and lunch are on order and are simple freshly home cooked meals. We loved our stay and the hospitality.
- Senthil (8/5): Very good -
- Divya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ilvija (9/5): Spacious, clean, charming. Felt well looked after. - I was very pleased with how clean the room and bathroom were! The furniture and decor are nice, as are the toiletries provided. Everything is spacious.
The staff were lovely, breakfasts were good, tea was delicious. Our room was at the front of the property and we could constantly hear a lot of noise from the main road outside.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - We wouldn’t usually have booked this property based on the Booking.com reviews, but we had an amazing experience at another Neemrana property so we trusted our instincts and booked this one.
It turned out to be a great decision, as we found a lovely and cosy period property with friendly staff and a good location.
Highlights were how stunningly beautiful our room was (Eucalyptus), with really high quality bedding (Egyptian cotton?) and the friendliness and flexibility of the staff who were always willing to help With both Neemrana properties we’ve stayed at I think they centralize their booking.com management which is a mistake … as before I stay, there is very cold communication and I regret booking, only to be greeted incredibly warmly at the property itself
- Aswin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sristi (9/5): Superb -
- Reethi (7/5): Good - The old style architecture Upkeep could be better again, the creature comforts were missing
- Jhala (7/5): It was comfortable - The amount they charged didn't justify the location and the lake of space and amenities It was on the main road. There was water drainage sound all night long
- Aadil (9/5): A most wonderful experience - A very well-grounded breakfast. Not too fancy but checked all the right boxes. The chef made us all feel very much at home with his cooking. The location of Neemrana's Wallwood Garden is extremely convenient. Everything met our expectations.
- Arvind (8/5): Very good -
- Uma (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Bhargavi (10/5): Amazing stay, and service - Perfect boutique hotel located in Coonooor, walking distance from SIMS park
Cute rooms, in the old colonial style. They even have a fireplace on in the evenings..
Huge thank you to Gita, who looked after us with such good care! Kitchen staff, cleaning staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful!
Decent south Indian breakfast, also serve some toast etc and an in house restaurant..
Definitely recommend staying here! Nothing
- Vivek (8/5): Very good -
- Kumud (8/5): Very good -
- Radhika (9/5): Superb -
- Sanchit (8/5): General point - Exceptional location, great peaceful and quite , serene environment Regional language emphasised
- Ravi (8/5): A warm and cosy place to spend some quiet, yet engaging time with family/friends. - The location of the property was excellent. Robin from Neemrana's team was forthcoming in calling me a day before and enquired about our check in timings. He also shared across soft copy of the menu. Bala from the Kitchen team was helpful across the stay.
Geetha, the manager ensured that we a family of 8, were accommodated, as near as possible. The overall property needs some maintenance and renovation. The Bungalow needs to be refurbished.
- Thomastthoma5 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Smrithi (4/5): Rundown property but great service staff - The staff is the only saving grace of this property. They are very polite and courteous. As helpful as they can be. The place is a complete run down. Didn’t expect this from Neemrana. There is absolutely no place on the property that you can comfortably sit and read a book or sit for a long time to chat with friends etc. the rooms itself are dingy so you can’t really spend too much time inside the room. By the end of it we were forced to spend a large portion of our time outdoors because the property doesn’t really give you anything that will make your time nice and special on the property. It was very disappointing. For the price we paid the stay felt like a rip off.
- Saravanan (2/5): Totally waste of Money - old furniture in the hall and room and garden Very poor maintenance. Hot water take long time to heat and we found caterpillar insect in bathroom few time in the summer itself. Food is not good and average taste. No TV in the Room. Totally waste of money.
- Ganesh (10/5): Everybody in my family enjoyed every moment of stay. Great team of staff 👏👏👏. 🙏🙏🙏 - Each and everything inside the property is awesome.
- Shunali (5/5): While the stay was comfortable because of the staff and the location, the property just did not match up Neemrana standa - The location Very run down property and just not Neemrana standard. Needs significant upliftment! Food quality needs to improve. The kitchen is not able to prepare the dishes as mentioned in the menu.
- Sara (9/5): Beautiful house, friendly staff, great value. - Beautiful house, lovely room, delicious evening meal.
- M (9/5): Excellent service by Mrs. Geetha and her team. - Breakfast was very good.
- Shyamala (9/5): Superb - Everything was great but it was the staff that made the difference!
- Muriel (8/5): Very good - Lovely old hotel with lots of character
- Bipin (9/5): Superb -
- Aditi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colette (9/5): Enjoyed my stay! - Lovely Heritage property and very friendly staff. A little bit of renovation in the room would help!
- Mathew, (5/5): Passable -
- Viraj (9/5): Superb -
- Hariganesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Srikanth (9/5): Superb - Ambience Food choice
- Roshni (9/5): Superb - The living room and dining room with home cooked delicious food and fire place is cost and grows on you.
The staff is super helpful 😁
- Ajay (9/5): Superb -
- Saneet (5/5): Passable - The rooms were quaint and quite good The food was really below the standards I expected..
- Gaurav (4/5): Disappointing Homestay - The Main hall promised a rustic and homestay like experience. The Room was very ok. The Geyser took 30 mins to heat up and only one bucket would be filled. At this rate, our family had to take one and a half hours to get ready! But the worst was the service. Despite ringing for service multiple times, no one came.
- Tara (1/5): What a disaster! - Nothing The first thing you see when you drive into this hotel is linen hanging up to dry. While the rooms were fine, the linen was dirty (yellow stains). We arrived around lunch time and the place was completely empty. In spite of this our lunch took one hour to arrive!
We were initially planning on eating dinner out, but foolishly decided around 19:00 to stay in the hotel as the staff had got a fire on and it was nice and cozy in the room. This was a big mistake. The evening that followed was comical to say the least. There were two other families including us waiting for dinner (10 of us in total). We all placed our dinner orders at 19:00. By 20:30 the guests were banging on the kitchen door wondering how long the food would take. What arrived from the kitchen was mediocre to awful (my husband’s meat curry was inedible). There was a young Indian couple who had ordered pasta with pesto. It took the kitchen two hours to inform them that there wasn’t any pesto. They then ordered boiled eggs which took another one hour to arrive.
We discovered then that the hotel was woefully understaffed and that the hotel manager Ms. Geetha had taken Diwali holidays along with half the staff. I’ve stayed in Neemrana resorts before and this resort doesn’t live up to the Neemrana standards. I’m happy to discuss this in further detail.
- Rohini (10/5): Wonderful. - The Wallwood Garden is centrally located . It's walking distance from Sims Park. The property is beautifully maintained. The staff is warm & very helpful. Its nice & peaceful at The Wallwood Garden. The travel to & from Ooty , the airport drop was all beautifully arranged by Robin. I would love to go back to The Wallwood Garden sometime soon .
- Russell (8/5): Reliving the Raj - The antiquity of the house. 1830s built by a British officer. Still in quite good shape. Great bedroom with direct access to lovely garden. Nice dining room and great food. Mgr very helpful in arranging access to key sights It was a bit weird being the only guest but I had a lot of attention
- Ranjith (9/5): Superb -
- Saurabh (9/5): Superb -
- Dr (9/5): Superb - It's an old well maintained bungalow on the main road close to all attractions it was all good Even though u maintain the royal status of old British bungalow bath rooms can be made a bit modern with new bathroom fittings rest all good
- Gregory (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were exceptional. The Manager Gita is a very warm lady and was so welcoming to us.
Robin was an exceptional staff member where nothing was too much trouble for him and looked after us in a caring manner
