Guest Reviews
- Johnathan (6/5): Probably a great motel back in the day - The motel has seen better days. Clean. Easy check in. But the door had to be held just a certain way in order for the key to work.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not recommend to stay, but staff was nice. - Only good thing was the lady when we checked in was very nice. The room had an extreme musty and moldy odor which made me very sick by morning - I hoped the ac being turned on would take the odor out but even our clothing and blanket two days later smelled of the odor. When I realized at 1;30am the odor was stagnant didn’t want to switch rooms as it seemed busy. Tried to sleep but ended up from 3am on sleeping in the car. The room was dirty walls, hair on the toilet, dirty bath towel…ugh! Cobwebs on lamp shade…
- Camille (6/5): - No room phone available
- richard (6/5): Low price, high value, with some boogers - Frontier motel is low price, no frills, high value. I'm traveling by myself so I don't mind staying in a no-frills place, but I think my wife would object to staying there. The room was generally clean, sheets and pillows were clean, but in general the place is pretty rundown, but that's what you expect for 50 bucks a night. My one serious objection is that the shampoo, conditioner and lotion bottles were all partially filled, meaning someone before me had used them and they were just left for the next guest, who was me.
- Michael (2/5): Poorly maintained - Plumbing coming out of the wall, A/C vent held in place with tack tape, at least the coffee machine worked.
- Dan (2/5): - Disgusting place. Rooms dirty. Smelled terrible. We refused to sleep there. We went somewhere else
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The carpet needed replaced. I could not figure out how to use the TV, no instructions.
- Deborah (4/5): - Knew it would be a low end motel, but it was bit worse.
Smelled bad, bed super hard, frig in room broke and taped up. A/C wasn't the coolest. Light shined in window all night.
Also panhandler was hanging around building.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was good for the price, had a weird smell but the room was clean
- Jason (8/5): Got a good night rest - Clean, affordable, convenient, easy.
- James (6/5): - They told me it was pet friendly but then charged me $10 extra for my dog which I didn't like
- Robert (4/5): Attention to details lacking and pest problem - Many times I tend to stay in low cost hotels and know what I'm paying for. Therefore, I usually suck it up when it comes to thin walls and noisy talking outside your front door (which was the case here as well). I also take it in stride when the place is a little run down, needs updating or has some dirty/disheveled furniture or cabinetry (which also were the case here). However, roaches and semen stains are completely unacceptable. Yes, I'm serious and have uploaded pics to show this. Unfortunately, I did not notice these things until the following morning.
When I checked in, I was exhausted and didn't notice anything with the minimal lighting available and crawled into bed. The next morning, after turning on all the lights and sorting my things out on the bed, I noticed the semen stains on the outer bedspread. And it wasn't just one spot---there were three areas of the bedspread with these telltale signs. In addition, as I went about showering and getting ready---I saw no less than 3 roaches in different parts of the room. This includes a roach crawling on my hand towel laid near my toothbrush on the vanity. In addition, I even heard some type of animal scurrying above the ceiling several times.
Maybe housekeeping was in a hurry or extra tired the day they made up my room. It happens. In any event, pests are unacceptable and if there were roaches in my room, you can bet other rooms have these unwanted indoor neighbors as well.
- Ryan (10/5): Clean pit stop - The staff was very friendly and friendly both check-in & check-out. Though this is not a 5 star hotel the room was very well maintained and provided clean lodgings. If I had to make any negative comment regarding the property it might be the towels could stand to be updated and there was not an ice machine available. I will say there was an item I’d misplaced upon departure that upon calling they checked immediately while I was on the phone to confirm it hadn’t been left within the room. Thank you and keep up the good work!
- Frontier (8/5): - It was relatively in a quiet place but the facilities need some work done to them
- Jessica (6/5): - Not happy
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cozy place to stay - The stay was comfortable and plessent.
- Heather (8/5): - It was ok
- Roy (6/5): Nah - Room smelled like mold. Like there was an active leak. Behind bathroom door was mold on bottom of wall.
- Cherise (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, quiet, I will definitely be staying with them on any future trips in the area
- Robert (8/5): Perfect respite for tired and sore hikers. - A beautiful, affordable hotel in a beautiful town. The hot tub was amazing, the room was huge. Very nice, highly recomended.
