- Paulina (1/5): Finger weg - - Entspricht ganz und gar nicht den Bildern. Alles ist schimmelig, sogar die Bettdecken. Der Pool grün und vergammelt. Ich sagte ich sein unzufrieden und dann wurde mir genau das gleiche schlechte Zimmer angeboten. Als ich sagte ich würde dort nicht bleiben auf Grund des ganzen Schimmels gab man mir zwar mein Bargeld zurück, aber der Besitzer bestand darauf, dass ich über booking storniere, damit sie sich die Gebühr einbehalten können. Wirkt für mich alles wie eine Masche.

- Eleanor (2/5): - Good price and good size room I would not recommend Unity Villa. The main gate was constantly padlocked, and the hosts would take the key, which meant we were often locked in or locked out with no way to come and go freely. It felt restrictive and unsafe. On top of that, the man who ran the place was always walking around topless, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unprofessional. The pool was also so dirty that it couldn’t be used at all, which was really disappointing given it was one of the main reasons we booked. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay.

- Konstantina Kons. (3/5): - Location The pool was green the day that I arrived, like marsh. After few days I saw some kids swim in (I hope they are fine) and then the pool was kinda clean. The room had a window above the bed that had no inner glass doors, just the blinders that didn't close as they were broken. I was afraid that the mice from the backyards will climb into my room. The bed was full of ants, I sprayed it everyday with the lotion that I had for bugs. I stayed 6 nights in total, they never cleaned the room, I had to ask for even new towels or toilet paper. The owner was kinda audacious. Asking weird questions about personal things, crossing boundaries as I the only time that I spoked to him was on check in. Spent almost half of my nights sleeping at my friends and he was asking me if I had a "happy" night.

The room was infested with mold, the smell was unbearable, and the overall condition was disgusting. The pool was filthy and clearly neglected. Location was within walking distance of the main town, in a quiet area. Unfortunately the property needs some TLC, the walls and ceilings were quite mouldy and damp. The pool did not look inviting and no one used it the whole time we were there. The property has a lot of potential if the maintenance was kept up. Probably not as luxury as the photos make out!

- Emilia (3/5): Poor - Great location, 5 minute walk to the old town, but also not on a Main Street so not too loud in terms of honking and loud music. I did not receive any towels or soap. The room was full of black mould, and so damp that the bed felt wet, and toilet paper was wet. The pool water was almost white in colour and not safe to swim in, and the pool chairs dirty. Feet were covered in dirt from walking around my room, the trash had not been changed, the host wanted to keep my passport “to check me in later” and kept asking me to stay more nights, There was an opened toothbrush kit in the bathroom, and aircon was broken. Do not stay here unless it’s a very cheap deal.

- Brice (2/5): - UNE IMMENSE DÉCEPTION En résumé : - Chambre : humide, pas de ventilation, draps et serviettes humides / sales, papier toilette trempé, literie avec une odeur de moisi, murs imprégnés de moisissure. - Emplacement : à 20min à pied du vieux Hoi An, l’hôtel prête des vélos. Quartier calme. - Personnel : gérant intéressé bien que sympa au 1er abord mais manipulant la situation à son avantage. Prend les passeports et ne les rends pas immédiatement, propose un trajet en voiture afin de se rendre à notre prochaine destination pour au final nous faire venir un mini bus qui nous emmènera à un bus couchette.

Had a fridge in the room to keep our water cold, shower was powerful and room was clean! Also really good value for money! We even stayed an extra night!

- Daniel (10/5): Homey stay - The owner of the property is so nice and suggested some really nice things to do while we were in Hoi Ann. We were in room 302 which is the top floor and has access to a small balcony which was shared between the other rooms on that floor. The room has a comfy double bed with good pillows which allowed for a comfy sleep. When we went to Hoi Ann it was 37 degrees so very very hot so the aircon was not the best, but it did cool the room down by the evening which was good. There was large shower room which could so like a little fixing but overall you get what you paid for (£9 a night). The owner also arrange a taxi for us to the airport which was 300 DNG which is very reasonably priced to Da Nang airport. We did not go into the pool but it looked great. Overall there is not much I would change about the property other than the aircon. Also it was around a 15 min walk to the old quarter so consider this when booking.

- Johan (10/5): Très bon séjour, allez y les yeux fermés - Merci beaucoup mon séjour a Hoi An tout était parfait, j'ai une grande chambre avec balcon qui donnait vu sur la ville et sur la piscine, l'hôtel se trouve dans une petite rue donc même si vous êtes au centre de la ville les chambres sont très calme , le patron est adorable toujours le sourire, pas intrusif comme ça peut parfois arriver dans les homestay, rien a redire, c'est sur que si je reviens à hoi an je reviendrai dans cet hôtel

Bedsheets were not cleaned and the closet was dusty for both rooms. Owner also took our passports and kept them until we checked out. A friend with another booking had the same, even worse issues, but owner called and asked to change her review.

Ze hebben ons veel goeie tips gegeven; de zus van de host is kledingmaakster (Blue Gecko) en hier hebben wij ook pakken op maat laten maken. Ook hebben we via unity Villa een kookcursus+boottochtje gedaan, zeker aan te raden! Ze hebben ook fietsjes waar je mee naar het strand kan fietsen. Super lieve mensen en super locatie! Not accessible, do not recommend if you have heavy luggage and/or elderly people. Rooms are grim, with no hairdryer, stained bedsheets and towels. Free bike rentals available. Hosts have good English, will offer private taxi service and but can come across as pushy. Livable accommodation if you want somewhere cheap to stay for a night or two.

The room was spacious, clean and comfy! Very helpful also and good location :) The water pressure in the sink was very weak, also at one point the water was coming out brown... I would double check the amenities listed as there is a lot on there like hot tub etc that aren't in the room or accomodation! Very damp bed

Unfortunately the bedding and towels were damp and had not been washed. There was mould in the corner of the room and a bug in the bed. The owner was smoking inside the lobby which I think reflects his approach to the cleaning of the rooms. Agreed to pay for two nights despite only staying for one and was overcharged but didn’t want to upset the man who had both our passports locked in his desk. Don’t trust other positive reviews on here as it’s obvious the owner is leaving them himself. There are many nicer places to stay in Hoi An for the same or less money

Wifi on the level I was on was just notconnected They do not make up the room nor do they remove rubbish However, if you don't mind all that, the location is a 10 mins walk to the edge of Hoi An old town centre .
- Jit (10/5): Exceptional - Canadian tourist here. Lovely and budget conscious spot. Just a short bike ride away from multiple world heritage sites. THEY KNOW AN EXCELLENT TAILOR. Your choices for tailors will be overwhelming. Go to their cousin at blue gecko, ive compared prices and she cant be beat. We went to the golden gate bridge, and we arranged our car through them, and again excellent value. The car waited for us while we toured, driver took us all the way to the gate, and all for the price of a grab. The rooms here were great. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Very friendly owners, with lots of tips and advice. Just ask! Try the coffee spot breakfast joint next door. It was another 5 star experience.

- Chiara (7/5): nice villa with good location, but cleanliness not the best - the villa looked nice and the room was big, also had aircon and swimming pool. the host was kind! Walls and showers were a bit moldy, but the worst part was that the pillows were full of mold (not the cover but the pillow insert, we could see the black mold through the cover) and this is very unhealthy to breathe in. when we asked for a new pillow the host gave us one which had less mold, but still had mold. On the listing and also within the villa were adverts for free bikes but when we wanted to take the bikes the host asked for money. lastly, most times there was no one available at the reception, not even during office hours.

The owner of the property several times entered to my room because I had the door open to have some fresh Air to tell me to close the door because of the mosquitos and that made me really uncomfortable.

- Belinda (10/5): Very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Good value for money. - Loved the private balcony which overlooked the pool. Enjoyed the pool. Our host was very helpful. The property was well situated and we had a delicious meal just a couple of doors down in the street where we were staying.

- Maisie (9/5): Brilliant! - Honestly such a lovely little villa. From the moment we arrived we got looked after. The owner went above and beyond for us and done all he could to ensure we were happy. Couldn’t recommend it enough!!

- Bea (6/5): doable in a very good location - the location is very good - you can reach everything you need by foot. the whole place is managed not very efficient. when we arrived our room Wasn’t very clean. I. the fridge was so much mould you couldn’t put anything in it. we had to ask more than once for clean towels. when we asked for laundry the brother of the owner (the brother is managing the daily business) just told us all suppliers were busy. we then walked down the street for 3-5 minutes and the first one we asked was happy than to have our money and our laundry. if you don’t mind to ask for anything a couple of times it’s a value for money place. keep in mind that there are no real doors to the bathrooms. it’s built into the rooms. so if you don’t mind listening to your travel partner taking a dump (it’s only glass doors, not attached to the ceiling, no rooms for mystery there) and a very bad isolation so that the humidity of the air crawls into every layer of your luggage and asking for everything it’s ok to stay there. you can even use the pool if it’s not the day when they freshly chlorined it very generously
- Akshita (7/5): Lovely host - The lady whose home it is super friendly and helpful. They helped arrange tours for us and gave us better price than the market. The room size was good. The toilet and bathroom have no privacy. They are in direct view from the beds and do not have bolts. The doors are opaque but not entirely. There should at least be curtains segregating the beds and the glass walls of toilet and bathroom.

- Patrick (10/5): - Property is a beautiful ‘mansion’ & room was very spacious with a large, comfortable bed. Bathroom is very basic but covers requirements. Good aircon & wifi. Pool is small but clean, & nice & cold after a hot day out & about. Host was lovely & available to answer queries, organise transport etc. This is a no-frills property ie no servicing of room for 2-night stay, which is perfectly fine considering the very cheap nightly rate. Property is approx 5-15 minute walk to the busy parts of Hoi An.

- Signe (8/5): Fair til prisen - Alt i alt var det et fint ophold vi havde på Unity Villa. Hotellet er drevet af to brødre, hvoraf den ene er super venlig og imødekommende og gerne hjælper med at planlægge ture og andet. Den ældste er knapt så god til engelsk og har en dårlig attitude. Man havde lidt fornemmelsen af at den ældste forsøgte at lave mersalg, ved at anbefale nogle ture han selv fik profit af, leje knallerter ud til overpris og anbefale sin egen families butik. Værelset var rent, og rengøringspersonalet var rigtig søde. Der var lidt skimmelsvamp i hjørnerne, og skabet lugtede dårligt. Vandet fra bruseren løb ud over hele gulvet, pga manglende kant og hældning på gulvet. Sengen var pæn og ren. Badeværelset var rent og der var god plads på værelset.
