• Sarah (6/5): on arrival we were met by the most lovelly manager, who went our of her way to make us feel welcome, - Breakfast not included! Location excellent. Security is very good. The guest house is looking tired. Curtains hooks missing, blind over door broken. Rather have no blind or screen the window. The bathroom had no hot water. In the entrance you have a very old Booking.Com plaque Rating.

The general space in the unit was comfortable,not cramp. We do not like small spaces...

• SHIRLEY (8/5): Short Stay - This is my second stay at the Guesthouse. I really enjoy staying there as it is safe and quiet. The rooms are nice and clean and there is parking space inside the property for your car.
• Purchase (10/5): - This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Cherry Berry. Cherry and her family and staff are the best hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay in George unforgettable. They provided us with a beach umbrella when we had forgotten to pack ours and on leaving Cherry treated us to a special little breakfast for our son's 22nd birthday. Heatherlands is a beautiful part of George and close to the shops, restaurants and world class golf courses. Beautifully appointmented suites with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. A lovely pool for the hot days was a huge plus. We will be back ❤️ Cannot fault this Guest House on anything

• Verified traveler (6/5): FROSTY RECEPTION - We were greeted very frostily by the owner and rushed up to our room because she wanted to go for a walk. She asked us why we hadn't replied to her urgent SMS sent 20 minutes ago. We said we were driving and hadn't seen it yet. We didn't see any more of her until se were just driving off. A white lady served us a mediocre breakfast. We had the feeling that we were a nuisance. Not the way guests should be treated.

The room had all the facilties that you need including fridge/microwave/tea/coffee/milk. Good recommendations for dinner Nothing really. A slightly dated dexor but that comes with a house of that age

• Snowplett (9/5): Very comfortable guest lodge which has 9 rooms, three in the owner's house and six a block away - Nice big room with small kitchenette, very comfortable bed, good breakfast, safe parking inside, very pleasant owner and staff. Shower was a bit barren with no caddy for soap and shampoo, wrong shower rose for the water pressure. Poached eggs were undercooked, I should learn not to order them.
• Maryfrances (10/5): Sometimes last minute plans are the best - We had a very last minute booking and Cherry could not have been more gracious in welcoming us in. The room has everything you'd need to make a meal, including an induction burner. We had access to a porch with a lovely view and a warm, comfortable bed. Parking is safe and secure. Cherry offered restaurant suggestions and was available to help in any way. Given our pretty much just showing up at her door with little notice, she was the perfect host.

• Heidi (9/5): Lovely stay at Cherry Berry. - A very comfortable place to stay in with delicious breakfast and a lovely roof terrace ! It's a perfect place if one wants to visit the Cango Caves and visit an Ostrich Farm. The door to the roof terrace from the bedroom was difficult to open and close.

Pool was not working properly meaning floor of pool was a bit green and slimy - they plan to fix the issue but it put us off swimming a bit which was disappointing

Property and room were clean and comfy. Wifi worked perfectly. Pool side not tried (winter) but very nice and relaxing area. Property is located 5min walk to the Spar shopping center, and 15-20min walk to Outeniqua Nature Reserve and mountains. Quiet and very safe surroundings. Nothing to report here.
