• Denise (10/5): Warm welcome. - I loved my stay at De Kraal. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished with everything that I needed. The gardens are beautifully maintained with interesting sculptures. Nothing.
• Bernadette (8/5): What a lovely surprise! - Artistic gem in the middle of Lynnwood. Beautiful gardens. Interesting history. Lovely onsite art gallery. Enjoyed a scrumptious meal @ De Kraal restaurant. Our rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Power outage during the night. No generator operational during this time. Do not think it was general loadshedding as neighbouring properties had power. Would suggest having a torch or battery powered lights in the rooms during such times.

Lovely old stone houses- kliphuisjes- breathtaking gardens, sensational art, fantastic service… I will be returning soon!

• Marthinus (8/5): Given the fact that no breakfast facilities were available I think it is expensive - We stayed here before. It's a lovely property in a quiet cul-de-sac. The room is large with very spacious bathroom and lovely couch and comfortable bed The gardens were not as well maintained as we were used to and the lighting from the parking can be improved. Not sure if the recent weather patterns were too blame. Although they mentioned that the restaurant was closed we expected the historic breakfast room to be open, maybe our interpretation was wrong

• Zahn (8/5): I enjoyed my stay. - Breakfast was very good - outside in the lovely garden. Historical value of venue and beautiful well-maintained gardens. Room is decorated beautifully, comfortable couch and bed.Area is safe. There was no hot water when I wanted to shower in the morning. I would appreciate wine glasses in the room and extra space to put toiletries on in the bathroom. Curtains in room next to bed do not have block-out lining and room is a bit light at night.

The rooms are like huts 🛖 with traditional hut roofs. It was really charming but needs vigilant attention as spiders and tiny insects are attracted to such set up.

Not having a bar or restaurant facility for dinner is a shame as sometimes you don't want to go out. We understood its only a few rooms so maybe not economical but maybe they could sort out something with a local restaurant
