We happened to be there in the middle of hot summer weeks though and the lack of air conditioning made things quite uncomfortable . The property manager provided one small desk fan for two bedrooms - it woudj have been great if we had additional air circulation / fans been provided anticipating that there was hot summer period coming up

Judy (6/5): - Location a bit further than most hotels but not too far of walk from the main city attractions. It’s very spacious and has everything you need. However, lighting is not great. Everything is dim in the common space. Instructions for the WiFi was not available during checkin and had to call customer service. Bring toiletries. It had shower gel and hand soap only. Coming from airport- to take the bus but nothing will drop you off directly by the building. You have to walk 10-15minutes. Best thing is to learn the tram system for easy, convenient travel once you get in town.

Mat Marlon (10/5): - Stayed at the Frogner House - Vika for 2 nights earlier this month. The unit was very nice - clean and spacious. Property is close to everything - dining, shopping, attractions etc. We were on the 6th floor and it was so quiet, even when we had our windows open overnight (to let cool air in as there is no a/c). Quick call to the staff for a question was answered promptly. Love our stay here and we’re sure to consider the FH-Vika again when we return to Oslo!

The furniture and bedding were very comfortable. The host was very kind, prompt and accommodating. A little shampoo and paper towels or cloth napkins would be nice additions. Et stort minus for oss var at leiligheten var kokvarm! Ingen AC, og man kunne ikke åpne vinduene annet enn på gløtt! Det var satt inn en liten bordvifte, men denne hjalp dessverre svært lite! Perfekt leilighet om du ska overnatte vinters tid, men ikke på sommeren!

Ended up having to air dry things overnight. Made it highly inconvenient. Also, was not aware that there was no AC and it was rather stuffy in the apartment. Staff being off site meant there could be delays if you had a concern, but overall they were quite responsive. This building is in a great area- close to Aker Brygge, national museum, royal palace, etc.

I called the so called 24/7 customer service # multiple times, nobody answered, left a voice-mail even though the recording was from sponge bob-not funny when you have an emergency. Place wasn't clean, stains on counterts and tables, used/empty coffee single packs. I can go on but you get the picture

Asha (6/5): - Apartment is good location, easy to check in and out, clean, comfortable bed. Was not aware that Apartment didn't have AC. It was warm so hard to sleep. Once you open the window cooler breeze helps but you have to keep the door and windows open so constant sounds through out the night makes it hard to have good sleep. Also, our stay was in June so longer daylight so had to close the curtains to avoid daylight. Once we close the curtains, breeze was blocked. No ceiling fans either. If you are good without ac or ceiling fan, then this is a perfect place for you.

Perfekt location midt i sentrum nærhet til Aker brygge. Frokosten som ble plassert utenfor døren, kan man like gjerne droppe. Den var langt under forventet standar med frukt som var råtten. Leier gjerne her igjen men uten frokost.
Andre (8/5): Recommend stay centrally located - We had one issue with the dishwasher, and we reported it through the instructions within the staff contact. We got no response on our inquiry- disappointing. That aside- the apartment and ordered services was excellent. We do recommend this location- perfectly situated in terms of travel for work or using it for your stay in Oslo vacation wise.

Christina W. (8/5): Perfect Location Downtown - You can’t go wrong with this property if you’re looking for an affordable and centrally located apartment. Despite previous comments, we were pleased to find that check in was super easy; there is a self service kiosk in the building lobby that issues you keys upon entering a secret code emailed to you before. The one item to note is that there were two twin beds on one room, and a double in the other which made traveling with two couples a bit awkward. Overall a great stay.
Lisa (8/5): Wonderful, but missing some things - Great apartment, well decorated and very clean. Spacious with lovely balcony. Missed some obvious things though. Each person given a bath and hand towel, but no bath mat or hand towel in the bathroom. I would have preferred a face cloth to a hand towel, but that is semantics. Tiny hair dryer took forever to dry my hair. No laundry detergent for the washing machine. Seems like they skimped on some needed accessories. Otherwise, place is great.

Verified traveler (8/5): Great apartment on the river, 20 minute walk - The apartment is great - seems less than a year old. It sits right on the river with great views (we were in the unit on the 3rd floor). The only snafu was that we were supposed to call when arriving to get a key (since it was later than their normal hours), but the mobile number always went to voicemail and we couldn't contact anyone. After a few tries, our contact saw our email and met us quickly (and was very apologetic). The immediate neighborhood isn't lively - mostly apartments - and not much for restaurants. Plan to walk about 20 minutes to Bergen City for dinners, etc.

Caroline (8/5): Comfortable stay in the city centre - The check-in location differs to the flat location, but the 2 places were a short walk from each other so this wasn't an issue for us. The flat was modern and clean, had all the amenities (although a bath mat would have been helpful) and close to the city centre. Within walking distance to the harbour and to Frogner park, the flat is close to a tram stop for other destinations.

katherine M. (6/5): no one to assist - The apartment was very nice. Clean. Appropriate furnishings and close to the harbor. HOWEVER I understood it was air conditioned and the thermostat indicated a place for an AC but it was not. It was very hot in Oslo and very uncomfortable the first night as NO ONE from the front desk responded to our calls emails etc after we checked in. In the morning I called again and someone brought two 10 inch desk fans. Also there were NO instructions for the combo washer dryer and we ended up having to line dry our clothes. No laundry detergent so we had to purchase some. I was very concerned about no response from the front desk the evening we arrived. What if there had been an emergency? Being in a foreign country it was a bit scary.
Edith (10/5): Lovely modern apartment in excellent location - Great alternative to hotel room. Apartment was compact especially the bedroom but overall it was a great place to stay. Exellent location for sightseeing , metro and trams.Most attrations can be reached on foot. Good choice of lots of restaurants and bars within easy reach and 3 supermarkets within 5 mins walk. A vey clean apartment with brand new appliances etc. Highly recommend to anyone coming to visit Oslo.

P (10/5): Great place to stay in Oslo - Great apartment within easy reach of the airport. Easily accessed, very clean and very comfortable apartment. Bed excellent. Facilities great. Highly recommended. Walked into centre. Easy access to cross country skiing. People of Oslo very friendly and a safe feeling.

lin (10/5): Close to town centre - Able to access all museums on foot or very easily by public transport, trams, underground, bus boats. We went to the information centre, where the kind and efficient staff provided us with a map and the best way to get to desired locations. The favourite places we visited were the Opera House, the National Gallery, the palace, and trips on the Oslo fjords to get to the Viking Museum and travelling around the islands. Quite expensive to eat out, but the coffee everywhere was delicious!

Melton (8/5): - Apartment was very nice. It was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The check-in priocess was awkward and did not go well, however the staff was apologetic and went the extra mile to make up for it.
G (8/5): Great location, modern apartment, messy check-in - Only great things to say about the location and the apartment. But the check-in process is messy. Neither Expedia nor the property told me in advance I needed to go to a different address to check-in. Only found out when I called the property asked how I could check-in. Parking is also complicated. I asked the property in advance and they provided me with a useless map. I needed to call the property again to ask for parking instructions. The guy didn't know, he needed to ask someone else and called me back after a while with clear instructions.

Crystal (4/5): Check in was a mess. Wrong location! - There was bad and good about this place. First the bad: check in was an absolute nightmare. The cab took us right to the address, there just wasn't anyone there. No note. No instructions. No indication it was even the right place. Thankfully the taxi cab knew what was going on because it apparently happens all the time (at least two more we witnessed in the short time we were there). People standing at the door confused with their phones out trying to get ahold of the hotel (we tried calling three times with no answer). Check in is several blocks away at another of their locations. When I went in, there was a self kiosk that showed no record of our reservation. Finally a woman showed up to check us in. When I explained, she said there was an email we should have gotten and it said it was on the website description. I asked her to show me where and she couldn't. And there was no email. And no apology for the extra cab fare and hassle. On the bright side: truly close to everything, lovely apartment, and a washer/dryer to boot. Very comfy and safe. Corner store close too. Not sure if problem was with hotel.com or with the hotel itself, but a pretty unsatisfactory experience.
Philip (10/5): good apartment hotel - close walking distance to everything, and easy access to.transit. Unit had one double and one single bed, which was just what we needed. Washer/dryer was quite handy, but a very slow drying cycle. One thing unexpected, the checkin was a 5 minute walk from the actual apartment, a hassle with luggage, so we took a taxi.

Verified traveler (10/5): living like a local - off site from main hotel, so a bit hard to find and requires a short taxi ride but well worth it as you stay in the neighborhood, like a local, close to shops, businesses, the Harbor and fine dining!
