• winniec998 (2/5): Terrible place and irresponsible manager - 1. Difficult to find contact number etc and finally went into WeChat and was able to communicate with a guy, the manager? 2. Booked airport pickup but manager mixed up clients during electronic communications.During transfer, their rented car was hit at the back by taxi. I was the back passenger and felt some pain in my back. Asked manager to write note of what happened for me to claim travel insurance after seeing doctor and he refused and asked me to goto the police to ask for the evidence. The manager was hesitant to give me his name when asked and was unhappy to come to discuss the matter with me but instead, asked me to walk to their other hotel nearby to talk to him which I have no idea why this should be happening. Also car transfer fee of USD10 per trip was the first and most important thing their staff asked on arrival, all before room key/ wifi password etc were given to me. 3. Room- dim,smelly,no hot water, TV not working. Toilet seat wobbly.Only at least Aircon functional. AVOID THIS HOTEL BY ALL MEANS. ABSOLUTELY NO PROFESSIONALISIM AND RESPONSIBILITY IN THIS HOTEL.
• meimejmaymejen (6/5): Needs improvement - Me and friends booked at the last minute in this hotel through Agoda. So after 5 minutes, I made my booking, took a cab, and in a few minutes, I reached the hotel. They asked for my booking confirmation; unfortunately, I did not save it. I could not download my booking voucher as the internet was so slow. It took me 30 minutes to locate my booking. However, they said that they are fully booked and need to move to their sister hotel, Dream Relax Inn, just 5 minutes away. I waited for almost 30 minutes when they realized again that they were fully booked and needed to transfer to the Dream Relax Hotel. So I had no choice but to return again. When I enter the room, I smell dust. I even used my perfume and bought a room spray to lessen the bad smell. Rusty door knobs and hangers in the toilet Broken handles for the cabinet. Less power outlets, and too far from the bed area. Broken iron. There are no tags indicating if the liquid bottle is for hair conditioner or shampoo. No toothbrush and toothpaste. Very dimmed lights. You can feel it every time the neighboring rooms open and close their doors. It is very scary if you are alone. We need to complain about that last breakfast because they cannot prepare it at 0615H. We need to insist before they give. I tried being considerate, because in fact, they should give me compensation because of the inconvenience caused when I arrived at their hotel. But I let it pass because I am also a hotelier and I am trying to understand them. There are a lot of things to improve because there is great potential. The location and the Thai restaurant they have inside the premises
• Peter (6/5): - The staff of this hotel were very nice. However, it’s not worth the money paid. The breakfast was an egg, a few pieces of oranges and apples, two pieces of white break and a mini hot dog. I had to go to the neighborhood supermarket afterwards to get additional nourishment. The bed was as hard as a rock. Very noisy room with sounds from the traffic below. But the staff, again, made the day. Extremely friendly people.
• Craig (8/5): - I was originally booked here, March 2023, to relax after a few gruelling weeks abroad. After discussion with the manager, I was moved to a quieter location, The Dream Relax Inn, which was literally around the corner and off the main road. They are the same hotel chain. I appreciated the manager's compassion when I requested a quiet location (this hotel is on a main road with a lot of motorbike traffic). If you want a great location, this is a good place.

Upon reaching airport, the cab driver said we have to pay the cab fare. The hotel did not pay. We had no choice but to pay the cab driver. There was no complimentary transfer as stated on the hotel booking page.

• 77776666 (6/5): Average Stay - This hotel was air conditioned, The room is average no television but clean and reasonably priced. It included breakfast but breakfast is extremely limited and not buffet. The bed and pillows are not very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. Recommendation: If you are looking for temporary stay, you may choose this hotel. If you are in Male to relax in a serene place, better think about other options. The first impression - the washroom was not very clean- and for anyone who travels, or at least for me personally, that is very important!

• 1Damjan (2/5): Dirty room, bugs, dusty testaurant and rude personell - worst hotel experience - Istayed in Dream Relax on January 9th, being brought there from overbooked Turquoise Residence. What can i say...? It has been more nightmare than Dream. Whoever takes care of this venue, shall get a sanitary inspection and big fine! In my 30 years of travel have never got a bed with dirty pillow, stinky sheet and bugs in bed! I did at this place. The dust in can sort of happen...but here was only cherry on a pie.! In the morning i spoke to sort of manager about the issue... the only thing he did was a rude reaction to one of employees...and he dissapered.No appologie, no how sorry he is, no compensation, not single word about taking care... nothing! He dissapered. On my first day in Maldives i expected something else than dirty room and dusty restaurant with rude personell. Awoid this place at any price. Guys failed in all points possible.

• marcofahmey (4/5): It was no relax inn, my back ached sleeping on their bed - We booked for a triple room but they didn't have any, Actually none of the rooms are meant to be for 3 persons. They put an extra bed and it was horrible, I had back ache for the next 3 weeks after I came back from Maldives. No elevator, only staircase. Room was clean and quite comfortable for 2, Cramp for 3. And there is a balcony. Location - well it is in the heart of Hulhumale town, close to the beach, main bus stand to the airport, market, malls, mosque etc. The hotel staff sent me an email upon booking if we needed airport pickup and I thought it was complimentary and in fact, I did reply asking if it was free of charge and there was no response . When we got there they wanted to charge us US$10 for that short ride from the airport which of course I refused to pay single cent. You could get on an airport transfer by bus every half an hour from morning to midnite and it is cheap, it stops 2 blocks from this hotel. And there is an inter-island bus stop nearby as well as bus to the Hulhumale ferry terminal, Otherwise, service was good, friendly restaurant staffs (expats from Bangladesh). Breakfast is included but mundane menu. You could order lunch and dinner from the hotel restaurant too. Beach is only a block away to the east.

You can add this hotel as one of choice for you and your family. The hotel is infront of the road but its only takes 1-2 minutes to the nice beach. The beach just situated behind the hotel The breakfast was nice

• winniec998 (6/5): Day stay before flight - 1. Good location- near to restaurants, small shops, 1 min walk to beach. 2. Amenities may not be functioning in room- will need fixing 3. Room- small but sufficient with aircon, shower(hot water needs instructions on how to turn on, need to ask reception desk), couple of mosquitoes.Can hear some banging noises from construction works in the next block. 4. Communications- messenger may take a day or so to reply at times. Phones given no answering.

• veniceyow (8/5): Relaxing place - We had our vacation last month, the room is spacious and quiet and it’s walking distance in the beach. The staffs are friendly at giving lots ideas about maldives. Disadvantage you need to walk 10 mins. just to reach the supermarket. Overall a great experience.

They overcharged me for my dish and argued that it was the correct price. Once I paid, they gave me change which amounted to less than it was supposed to. Didn't want to argue with them anymore so I just left. Its the principle!

Nearby to bus station and taxis available most of the time. for Muslim travellers mosque is just 3 blocks from the hotels.

• YERBOL (6/5): всё не так, как ожидалось - Прилетели в аэропорт. Ходили, ходили,ждали ждали представителя отеля, который должен был нас встречать. Дождались. Немного поискали автомобиль))). Поехали. Кстати, услуга стоит 15 американских долларов и она прописана в условиях проживания. Отель на одну ночь. Бронировался номер на двух взрослых и двоих детей. В номере одна двуспалка и одна односпальная кровать. Вайфай с индивидуальным паролем. Завтрак назначили на 8 утра. К сожалению, в 8 утра никого не было на рецепшене. Позавтракали всё же и , к сожалению, из-за нерасторопности работников отеля опоздали на свой паром
• Marc (10/5): Great place, amazingly kind staff! - Staff is really kind and helpful. They arranged for us the local ferry tickets from Malé for the next day. They even bring it from Malé to Hulhumale. I think it's a great place for transit, all the staff there are extremely helpful and they will provide you information about everything you need to know. Milkshakes in the restaurant are delicious, I highly recommend the Relax Special! Oh and I forgot the charger for my camera, I noticed that after one week and I contacted them by email. They had it there and they even maanged to send it to my current hotel via the airport representative, what it is really amazing as I can keep making photos here :)

• Verified traveler (8/5): 空港近くでリゾートへの前泊に利用 - 夜着の便だったので、節約の為リゾートへ直行せず、こちらに泊まりました。バスルーム内のトイレとシャワーの間に仕切りがないので、シャワーしたらトイレがビチャビチャになるタイプのバスルームです。湯船はありませんでした。寝るだけのトランジットホテルと思えば問題なし。小さい子供２人連れの４人一部屋でしたが、ベビーベッドをリクエストしたら無料でエキストラベッドを入れてくれました。 周辺は開発中といった感じで、ミニマート等はありますが、レストランなどは少ないです。工事中の建物をたくさん見かけました。周辺を少しうろついて、時に入りたい飲食店が見つからなかったので夕飯はここで食べました。朝食込みのプランですが、頼んでからて出てくるまでに30分以上かかったにも関わらず、内容はトースト、ソーセージ、たまご等で何にそんなに時間が掛かったのか不明。
• Verified traveler (10/5): Gemütliches Hotel mit super freundlichem Team - Wir sind zu dritt als Backpacker nach unser Ankunft in Male sehr freundlich begrüßt worden. Wir haben uns ein Zimmer geteilt... dafür gab es ein gemütliches Doppelbett und ein beistelle Bett :) Eine vernünftige Klimaanlage hab es auch! Das Essen war sehr lecker und gut bezahlbar! Etwa 3 Dollar für einen Teller gebratener Nudeln mit Hühnchen! 2,50 für einen leckeren Fruchtshake Sehr zu empfehlen für die ersten Bzw letzten paar Tage auf den Malediven :)
• 912serenal (10/5): Great place - The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean, everything worked well. Staff were very polite and helpful. As a previous reviewer commented, there was no elevator but the staff helped us with our luggage. The food at the cafe downstairs were really good too! Price was very reasonable, location was very convenient as well, not too far from the airport. I would definitely come back again.
• vlhc (8/5): Spacious and clean - The room is spacious, considering the building is new the interior looks bright and well maintained. I always have issues with the cleanliness of guest house with no star rating but this one is alright, no lift but the guys helped us with our luggages. Location is good as you can find many shops and other cafe nearby while the guesthouse has its own one at affordable price.

• AliceK511 (6/5): Ideal for airport transfer - We had one night here and that was quite enough. The room was adequate but it spelt slightly smokey and there were Mosquitos. Breakfast was included which was handy and the hotel organised an airport transfer. It's a 5min walk from the beach but Hulhumale as a place seemed quite soulless compared to Male.
