• DYS (8/5): Family friendly resort in a quieter part of Singapore - Arriving late from Changi Airport and still had a smooth check-in process. Easy to walk to nearby shopping centre for convenience stores and restaurants. Great access to nearby parks and beaches. Room was quite bare in regards to amenities.

• Chris_1 (7/5): Aussies at downtown 0 - There was a very good convenience store and place you can have dinner and breakfast right on level 2, just near check in (although we were not directed there at check in!). We were given a lot of good meal deals at check in, very helpful staff there and lots of them, 24 hr reception. It looked like there was very easy access to the beach which was one reason I booked the room there but I hadn't counted on the heat and humidity! The room was good, but make sure you turn on the hot water otherwise you'll only get cold water in the shower! We had to leave at 5am and the receptionist organised a taxi very quickly. Our taxi driver from the airport did not know the resort and dropped us up at the mall and we found it difficult to find our way with cases to the reception desk so in hindsight! we should have insisted on the taxi driver going to the check in area. The fan was really noisy at level 3 (highest level) but we didn't need it except at level 2, the air con was okay!

• Ahmad Saiful Bin Saadon (9/5): A night stay in Dresort but a lifetime memories. - The family room was painted with animals that bring joy and excitement to my kids. The bunk bed were great as well. Even the plush toy were cute! The walk to the restaurants at ehub/è avenue were quite a distance. Have to take a short cut by the road. But that's okay..the surrounding were peaceful and quiet, away from the bustling city.

Cute squirrels to watch! Easy access to the mall with heaps of food and entertainment options and close to the airport. No gym facilities.

• William Jhony (9/5): Family with Kids Hotel - We like it because of it's located exactly next to the wild wild wet attraction, My kids love it, we go there twice. Mall just next to the hotel and plenty of food around. Free Shuttle bus to Nearest MRT Station (Pasir Ris) is a Plus because we travel alot by public transportation. There should have put a lobby hotel sign from Mall to Hotel, so newcomer will not confused whether to walk from 2nd floor of the mall or from the parking lot. For those who use public transportation and carry many luggages it's better to take the 2nd floor from the mall, it will easier for walk to connect to the hotel rather than taking the ground floor.

• Thomas (9/5): Peaceful, convenient, great value, lovely coast walks on doorstep - I booked in here for one night on the basis that it was not far from Changi Airport for a one-evening stopover in Singapore between flights. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but had a very comfortable, peaceful and smooth stay here. It was about a 15 minute walk from the MRT (just a few stops from Changi Airport) but easy (if no rain), so well under an hour’s travel time from landing. The room (in “Rainforest Lodge”) was large, simple and perfectly comfortable, and really quiet (thanks D’Resort, for the end-of-corridor room as requested). Although there’s not much for the solo traveller on site (which is fair enough – it’s a family-oriented place), there’s a private gate out to Pasir Ris Park from where you can explore a lovely coast path – more peaceful than you’d expect in Singapore, and even happening upon a very mellow (on a Thursday night) beach bar nearby! Trivial suggestion - perhaps clearer signage to Reception for someone arriving on foot?

• NEIL (6/5): Convenient and close to everything, though the noise and room setup were disappointing. - The room was a good size for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The location was the standout feature — just steps from the water park, with the beach directly behind the resort for evening walks or bike rides along the coastal tracks. It was also only a short walk to shops and food options, and very close to the airport, which made travelling with kids much easier. Most of the staff were genuinely helpful, from the front office team to the cleaners who happily provided extra towels. The room we stayed in was unfortunately in a very noisy location. While we understand it was a long weekend, the noise from outside was extremely loud. The walls are thin, and there are visible gaps around the main door where light comes through, so any sound from the corridor or outdoors travels straight into the room. Depending on where your room is located, be aware that the resort has a large BBQ area. When groups are partying, the noise carries until the 11:00 PM cut‑off, so it’s worth requesting a room away from these zones. Some of the staff working around the grounds were unable to communicate in English or Malay, which was surprising for Singapore, and made it difficult to ask for directions or simple assistance. The room also lacked a few essentials — there was no safe, no ironing board, and the toothbrushes/toothpaste provided were very basic. We had two double beds but only two pillows per bed, which felt a little limited for a family stay.

• Sue (8/5): Great place to stay. Very reasonably priced. Large air conditioned room - Great for a stopover close to the airport if you don’t need or want to be right in the centre of town. Very quiet. Spacious room. Great location adjacent to Pasir Ris park and the water. Easy to get to using MRT which is cheap and frequent and then free shuttle bus from Pasir Ris MRT station to the Downtown East shopping centre which the hotel is part of. Bit tricky to find the entrance from the shopping centre but there’s a covered link way from level 2 of the shopping centre to one wing of the hotel. Hotel lobby is in the next door building but take lift to ground floor and less than 1 minute walk under cover to main hotel and reception. Easy when you know how! Hard to find hotel lobby and reception. Awkward walking with bags across roads and cobblestones. Better to access from linkway with easy access to lobby from adjacent building Bathroom looking a bit tired.

There is also a water slide park next to the hotel and shopping centre close. Great location to stay with children as several other hotels in and around the airport don’t allow children to stay.

• Go40081819821 (10/5): Great for family holidays. - We had a great stay at D'resort. Staffs were very friendly and helpful, Room was clean and great views. Restaurants and shopping centres just nearby, that's so convenient for us. We definitely will come back again for next time.
