Paul (8/5): - Clean tidy room everything worked well a/c good. Very affordable, the only bad was the roosters next door at 4am
Andrew (4/5): - Your initial view of the hotel is pleasantly surprising, it looks mdern and trendy. However, that view quickly moves onto the poorly maintained common parts, no restaurant or bar, no breakfast, just your room. Again, initially you're pleasantly surprised by a modern looking room, but closer inspection reveals the place to be dated and well worn. Worst of all is the shower and toilet. The shower has no hot water, has black mildew everywhere, and toilet is so small that you have to take your clothes off before you enter it as there is no room otherwise. Another really annoying issue is that the swimming pool is crowded with youngsters, none of which are staying at the hotel, but its common knowledge that no one from the hotel will say anything, even if a resident complained, as I did. Finally, even if you were to get some sort of access to the pool, the wooden suttounds are so dilapidated that you would almost certainly cause an accident on the broken surface. You most certainty would not allow your kids anywhere near it. There are many better and cheaper options in town. Use any one of them before staying here
Loz1978 (2/5): Noisy, rundown and inhospitable - We booked the B2 hotel based on reports it was one of the nicer hotels in Pai, where accommodation is somewhat dominated by hostels and guesthouses. At nearly £60 per room, per night ex. breakfast (which is relatively expensive for Thailand) we expected a decent level of service and accommodation. Our hopes were soon dashed. Where to begin?!...... From the sour-faced and robotic check-in, again, almost unheard of in 'the land of smiles', to the pools with broken, jagged steps and missing tiles, the stained towels and bedding and the piece de resistance..... The constant crowing of roosters from the next door chicken farm. As if that wasn't enough, the pool and garden area of the hotel was invaded on a daily basis by nearly 100 youths who were not even staying at the hotel but would rock-up en masse, to play loud music and play ball games, treating the hotel as some sort of free-for-all party club. To be fair to the manager, he took our complaint on-board, called the police and cleared the area..... Sadly the scenario was repeated again the next day. My strong advice is to steer clear of this noisy, delapidated and unpleasant hovel. There are much nicer hotels for a similar price, if not cheaper, nearby.

Sadly the reality is that it's run down, needs extensive maintenance and on one afternoon we could not use the pool as it had been invaded by close to 100 backpackers who weren't even staying there. The absence of a restaurant and the nearby constant noise from chickens and roosters add to the disappointment. Friendly and attentive manager is the only silver lining.

Patricia (4/5): - Es werden Bilder verwendet die schon sehr alt sind. Auf den Bildern sehen die Zimmer super aus, aber in Realität ist dieses Hotel sehr schlecht imstande. Das schlimmste war eigentlich das nirgends erwähnt wird das 10m Luftlinie von unserem Zimmer eine Hanenzucht ist. Wor wollten in Pai relaxen. Leider ging das nicht weil nur Partyvolk da war und um 05.00 die Gockel angefangen haben zu schreien. Das war ein absoluter Scan dieses Hotel. Nie wieder
Michelle (6/5): - Not sure if we just got a bad room? The A/C sounded like a machine gun or helicopter after 10-20 minutes of use, regardless of which settings we tried. Bugs kept getting in (I understand it’s a jungle area, but no where else we’ve stayed in Thailand had bugs), the bathroom door wouldn’t even shut to the toilet so good bye privacy, and the shower walls had grime & mold in the tile, you wouldn’t even want to lean against or touch the shower wall. We even asked the front desk about our A/C, and sure enough it continued to sound like a machine gun. The pool has chipped tiles everywhere and the deck needs repair. Quiet area & comfy bed was about the only good things.

Maximilian (8/5): - Das Hotel ist was Preis/Leistung angeht wirklich top! Leider gab es kein Frühstück, was allerdings auch nicht weiter schlimm war, da es in naher Umgebung mehr als genug Auswahl gab. Einziger Minuspunkt, den man leider ansprechen muss ist, dass das Klimagerät in unserem Zimmer getropft hat, wodurch die Wand dahinter auch schon leicht schimmelig war. Alles in allem jedoch sehr gut!
Taichi (2/5): - 名前にプレミアとついているが、何をもってプレミアなのか謎なホテルだった。古くても適切に管理されていればそれなりの評価ができるけれど、古くてメンテナンスがおざなりでは低評価をつけるしかない。建物内外の壁はボロボロ、廊下には枯れ葉がたまっているのに加えてゴミが落ちまくっている。室内、特にバスルームとトイレは悪臭が漂っており、蠅が次々に現れる。チェックイン時、カウンターに二人いたスタッフのうち、一人は突っ伏して寝ているし。残念なことしかないホテルだった。無料でも泊まりたくないですね

Terry (8/5): Nice hotel could do with a little updating - Nice hotel but in need of a little repair work. Shower and toilet cubicle looking grubby and in need of an update. Found a lot of ants in toilet. We had a pool access room but all the tiles on steps into the pool were missing . 10 minute walk into main streets of town and really nice location quiet, the cockerel mentioned on previous review could be heard occasionally but give a nice country feel.
Clara (4/5): Take a pass. - The front desk reception was very good and very accommodating. Housekeeping staff was also very good. The hotel has terrible dogs and roosters out back that were noisey. No sleep past 6:00 am. And there is no hot water. I would not recommend this hotel!
pugyao (10/5): Cozy hotel. - 1. Good location, not far from Pai walking street (about 1 km). 2. Our room was clean and everything functioned properly. 3. There was no elevator. 4. There was no breakfast. 5. What I like most is a warmly welcome from dogs of the hotel. Cute! Overall, the hotel met my expectations

Furniture soiled, walls cracked, paint peeling...obviously management does not care. Paid for poolside but can not use because it is so dirty. And then...I am required to write a review with at least 200 characters when I can tell you about this place in less.
Günter (6/5): - The hotel has a nice style but unfortunately it's not well maintained. Location is convinient with a 10min walk to downtown. A chicken farm next door was a guarantee to be awake early in the morning, but it was acceptable.
GrandTour780462 (2/5): Bad experience - In the past I stayed at the hotel and also sent friends to it, now the condition of the hotel has become very bad and unfit for living. I took their best room with pool access for 4 nights, but due to rats and poor maintenance situation, no hot water, I had to leave the hotel after 2 nights. The hotel manager promised he would return the money, but he lied, after we left he reneged on his promise and refused to return the money. I will not deal with liars again and will not return to this hotel in the future.

Booked this hotel through a site requesting floor level rooms since traveling with elders they put us upstairs. Showed our booking confirmation and they said it’s a request that they try to oblige to but if they can’t it’s not their fault. Zero flexibility from front desk manager. Room is old and dirty. Holes, mold, mildew, murky pool. Wished I took more pictures

jancallister (2/5): Worst hotel in Thailand I have ever stayed in - Well I read the reviews after I booked this hotel. Omg they are so right this hotel is the worst place I have stayed in Thailand Room pool access pool dirty as previous comments room smells of damp and shower is very mouldy dirty and god help you if you are a bit overweight lucky for me a size 10 I just about managed. No wonder the hotel does not put pictures on website of bathroom facilities. Fridge is not cold the room is colder with air conditioning on than the fridge. Please read reviews before booking this hotel. Unfortunately for me too late to cancel the booking reservation and guess I will need a few stiff drinks to help me sleep in a hovel
Elenadl108 (2/5): Do not waste your money - This is by far the worst hotel I have seen in Thailand and possibly in Asia. Do not let the pictures you see online fool you, because they do not represent how the place actually is. Although the entrance seems grandiose, as soon as you step into the lobby you can see the mildew on the walls, the dirty furniture and the overall unkemptness of the place. It is run down, uncared for, dirty, and the chicken coop in the back gives it an unreal atmosphere. The smell is unbearable. The pool water is yellow. I just looked to the room without stepping into it and that was enough. The floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in months. When I told the stuff it was not possible for me to stay there the seemed baffled. My friend made the booking and is still stying to get a refund. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else.
Sung Han (8/5): 設備齊全，位置方便的住宿 - 位置很方便，步行就可以到主要街區和夜市；飯店的服務人員很和善，會盡快滿足你需要的幫助；飯店內的設施齊全，但是所提供的毛巾和浴巾味道不是很清新，不知道是不是連日雨季的關係；另外，我住的房間洗澡的時候地板有一點滲水的情況（水會滲到淋浴室外）。飯店就位於小鎮市場和社區公園旁邊，所以一大早就會聽到活動的聲音，想要睡到自然醒的人可能要考慮一下住宿選擇（尤其是鄰房的住客又是喜歡狂歡開趴到半夜的時候，容易有一點睡眠不足😅）

Dillon (8/5): Great stay - It was so nice to have a pool side suite with a little patio area. The chickens and roosters are extremely loud and face all the rooms. I had earplugs and this helped me sleep the other days. Pool was very nice and has spots to sit and relax. Short 10 minute walk to the walking street We didnt feel we needed a motorbike and walked to get meals.

Lee (10/5): Large pool and a big bed! - My favorite aspect was the large, clean lap pool. I had a great swim everyday and enjoyed sitting by the pool or sitting g on the balcony having a drink and looking at the pool. The hotel is in a very good lication a shorr walk to the town center but far enough to be quiet. Our room was very large with a large comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. They did not serve food or drink so we ats in town.

Verified traveler (4/5): Could have been so much better - It could have been good, but I suppose I was a bit unlucky. Paid extra for a room by the pool, but by the time I got there there were maintenance/cleaning done on the pool for the whole duration. My room was full of mosquitoes, 15+. I asked the staff if they would be able to do something about it. As far as I know they tried the day after but it didn't help that much unfortunately. Should be noted there is multiple roosters in the neighboring property, they scream all the time starting early morning. Bring your earplugs. All in all, not satisfied but the staff were friendly.
Glenn (8/5): Nice stay - Nice big clean room for a reasonable price so good value. It had a pool which was nice and I used it everyday. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the walking street. The mattress is a little hard for my soft western body. I wish there were more hooks to hang towels etc. All in all a nice option in Mae Hong Son.

joem67 (2/5): not as advertised, pool is flithy, shower mouldy, run down dump - • Extremely smokey at hotel every night is fire lit by nearby property • Noisy guests, you can hear everything • Mold in shower absolutely disgusting • Shower leaks into room, making concrete floor wet its dangerous • Dirty pool not cleaned, stagnant water its flithy, basically a pond its not useable, also loads of loose and missing tiles. • Hen / rooster farm and fighting arena behind hotel, had to walk past it to get to our room with men watching a live fight, not ideal, roosters also going from 5am all day. • When we complained, the manager didn't take it seriously, • Hard mattress. i mean, it's like a rock • No privacy, the shower and toilet are inside the room separated by a poorly fitted glass door • No facilities at all, no breakfast We checked out early due to all the issues didnt receive any refund or even apology, didn't feel relaxed or comfortable at all, ive stay in better hostels, overall the condition of the hotel is very poor not what its made out to be at all.
reviewswithlou (8/5): Nice hotel near the centre of Pai - Nice hotel situated near to the main walking street in Pai. Our ground floor room was spacious with a large bed and lovely terrace overlooking the pool. The toilet and shower were a little bit claustrophobic. The pool was clean at the start of our stay however turned a murky green colour in the last days.
Moominomom (4/5): Stay if you like roosters - Tried to book the Yoma Hotel but it was full so came here after a nice stay at the B2 in Mae Hong Son, thought it would be similar but it wasn’t good. Receptionist tried to say only +2000 baht rooms were available, checked online and got one for less. Room was noisy, can hear neighbours flicking light switches. Worst part was waking up in the early morning by the roosters about 5 meters from the front door. None stop noise from about 5am, sounds like like someone getting murdered. One of the pillows was huge so wasn’t comfortable. Bed was like it used to be rock hard but was wearing out to a slightly not rock hard. Air con fan speed couldn’t be adjusted. Swimming pool looked a bit murky.
Lironkedmi (2/5): STAY AWAY - The bed was so hard that it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room is in bad shape and not maintained. There is mold in the shower and everything feels dirty. The water in the pool is green and the staff aren't nice at all. The location is far from the center and the price isn't worth it at all!

Jack9966 (2/5): Zero flexibility - We arrived and were given the keys for the door that were located near a generator that was making an awful noise anytime of the day and morning sometime as well (supposedly from the hospital next door). We asked to change room to a further location from the generator but the staff was inflexible and giving all kind of excuses to explain and not being accommodating.

rebekahf650 (6/5): Modern Hotel at the edge of town, poor WiFi. - The hotel is very modern, clean and has a reasonable pool. However having only booked this as being modern I assumed it would have good WiFi for important work zoom calls I had to take, I was disappointed when staff couldn't advise if my room would have a strong connection and that in fact despite a strong connection it couldn't cope with the calls (probably due to other users in the hotel being online also). Having spent a bit of time in Pai a more rustic bungalow on the river is a much more enjoyable experience and also lends itself to being super close to the town. The other downfall is the hotel seems to be situated on a new development site which isn't very attractive and from the noise of the chickens/cockerels you'd think there was a chicken farm behind the hotel (it actually appears to be some kind of residential area). That being said the room was lovely and always kept extremely clean with tea coffee etc being replenished every day. Staff were quick to reply over email, but not overly helpful and weren't the most amicable in person.
Shavakon (8/5): Modern Style hotel with a pool in Pai. - Hotel Location : B2 Pai is located in a walking distance from walking street (city center),with a short walk to the Pai walking street and the bus station (10 mins walk) It's only a bit dark at night on the way back to hotel from the night market. Room : Premier Deluxe Pool View Comfortable rooms in quiet location with a modern style hotel. The hotel room itself is big with a huge bed and great shower with good hot water. Love the private bathroom with has a separate part of showers and toilet area, complimentary toiletries and hair dryers is provided. The balcony is huge and opened up to a pool with a view. Found many negative comment about bad layout do the bathrooms. it is too small, but it is fine for me just a small cabin toilet. In the room had a mini-fridge, tea and coffee facilities, water, toiletries, hairdryer and safe. WiFi is working okay but not very strong and TV with satellite was quite poor. Amenities & Service : The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. Swimming pool is nice but always cold

We stayed in Presidential Suite (2 Bedroom- Type) as too big for 4 people, I guess. Actually, this, layout, should be 1-bedroom with living room. But B2 make living room to be another bedroom (then, there is no privacy at all) Fitness room : No Swimming pool : yes 7-11 : 10-15 min by walk Pai walking street : 10-15 min by walk Parking : Free but limited (in case of peak period) Recommended
671kietp (10/5): Lovely - I visited with my family and we booked the room with pool access. It was really nice location since it close to the night walking street. The staff very helpful for the local information. The hotel don't have the breakfast service but the staff suggest me for the food delivery application like 7-11 and food panda. The hotel and room were very clean. The weather is really cold in the morning but it's so sunny during the day. Overall is good and I will back for sure.

I was disappointed to find out when I arrived that there was no restaurant even though it said in the description there was. They also offered no services which was the real disappointment. I wanted to book a bus out of town and they just told me to go into town and book it. This is fine except this is such an easy service to provide and I have stayed at many very very cheap hostels and they all provide booking services such as bus tickets. It’s disappointing that a nicer resort doesn’t offer that.

Molly (10/5): Incredible value - The value for this hotel was outstanding. New facility, modern, clean, big rooms, lovely pool, and perfect little walk to the main walking street. It was about 10 minute walk to main part but it was a lovely walk through the vendors selling vegetables for the locals. There wasn’t anything in the way of restaurant or bar at hotel but we didn’t care because we always walked to town for everything and we loved doing that.

Barbara (8/5): B2 is where you want to be in Pai! - We were excited to stay here the hotel is beautiful! Room modern and clean. Our only problem was the family of roosters that live behind the one side of the hotel. Lucky they had other rooms. So booked a pool side room which was also right by the roosters, I asked if there was other choices to be on one if the other sides. The lady’s at front desk accommodated the request and we loved it! Quiet, we got a goodnight sleep and the access to pool very nice. We like the location to town only blocks from the hustle and the grounds are well kept. Great place to be while relaxing in Pai!

Rachel (8/5): Worth it! - My boyfriend and I decided to ‘splurge’ for our anniversary and stay here instead of at a hostel, and we loved it. The pool was beautiful and super clean, the rooms were awesome with a comfortable bed and a mini fridge and a nice overhead shower, and the location was alright. 10 minute walk to walking street but a local farmers market right along the path on the way so still lots to see. Unfortunately there’s no restaurant on site and so you do have to walk a bit to get your meals, but overall I’d recommend.

The main street is a short walk away, if you want to stay more centrally, there are plenty of hotels nearer to Pai walking street. B2 Pai is bit expensive when compared with other options nearby. Unfortunately the cafe/restaurant wasn't finished, so the hotel doesn't offer any kind of breakfast / snacks.

Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel could be really nice but needs ALL of the maintenance, run down tables, sheets had some holes. breakfast was ok, but flies everywhere and no fans. Pool bar isn’t open. Rusty nails and poles near the little beach where you can go snorkeling (very dangerous). Accident: The road that takes you to the hotel is almost 90 degrees steep and only one way. No signs to stop or mirror to see. One of the employees was driving a truck down and didn’t horn and me and my mom were on the scooter and had to stop and fell because of the weight. My mom had to get stitches and the scooters light broke and had some scratches. The lady manager (everyone actually but Pure, a really nice gentlemen) was awful. They didn’t asume any responsibility even though the accident was caused by their employee and inside of their property. They only paid for the clinicl the first day and then refused to take us to the clinic for her to get cured everyday according to the doctor. They didn’t want to make themselves responsable for the bike which was a total mess for us and took 2 days of our vacations. They blamed us and the lady manager was very rude. They did upgrade our room because our first room was also so steep to get to (walking) that my injured mom wouldn’t be able to do it. So if you are not in great shape make sure what kind of room you are getting and always leave your bike outside of the resort before that steep drive. It was not a pleasant stay.

Melissa (4/5): Couldn't sleep or shower - The staff here were amazing and friendly, and responded to the laundry list of things wrong with the room. However, the misshaps in the room are driving this poor review. First, the air conditioner leaked so I woke up in the middle of the night to the bottom of my bed drenched. The shower was clogged, and the shower head and shower door handle continuously fell off the wall, making for an interesting shower experience. The hotel is out of town next to some farms, so you don't have to set your alarm since the roosters are up bright and early. This hotel would be ok if you are early in your travels and want a funny story, however I just wanted to relax and unwind which was impossible. Bring bug spray, the mosquitos are terrible.

cllim (10/5): Pretty Worth It - This is one of the classier among B2 hotels well known for budget stays throughout the kingdom. It was actually a really pleasant hotel for a stay over at Pai. Brass fittings in the toilet and the bright interior theme sets it away from the normally stark and dark bold flairs of the other B2s. Do not leave the shower door ajar when bathing. Drainage ain’t good, water seeped over the low ledge into my room. Can slip and fly across the room and slam into wall. The Sharp electrical water heater had a great big sticker which advertised the words “Hot Hot Hot”. It was winter months I was there and the sticker was a liar. I had a cold shower, the water was a trickle, and parts of my body shrank. For the hotter months, you will be glad they have a pool to dip yourself in. Some of the rooms on the ground floor features pool access. Mine was a garden access, I opened them balcony doors and could walk across the field directly over into the car park. So, don’t be surprise to find some lost neighboring cows grazing right in front of your room first thing on the morning. Parking space a plenty, and that’s a plus point for drivers. Vicinity, nothing much at all immediate surrounding except a wet market, and along the way, you will see those grazing cows scattered among vacant plots of land. The walking street requires a 15 minutes’ walk and coming back alone over the dark streets late night could be quite daunting. Anyways, for the price and the quality of stay, it was pretty worth it.

Maggie (10/5): A Steal for the Price - We really loved our time at B2! This hotel is worth every penny. It's really beautiful and well done. The room and bathroom were clean, modern, and comfortable. We had a room right off of the pool which was really cool. The only downfall to this place at all is that it's a tiny bit outside of the city center so it's best to have a motorbike, but you should get one for Pai anyway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Verified traveler (4/5): Dogs are a key issue - Great rooms, best we've had in Thailand by a mile, with a nice pool, even though one of them was being refurbished at the time. The issue is the local dogs. After reading other reviews I can see that this is actually a pretty big problem and the hotel don't seem to do that much to address it. Basically the hotel itself has 4/5 dogs roaming round the grounds 24/7, which jnitially wasn't a problem, but knowing the risk of rabies in the country etc it wasn't ideal. The key issue is when you walk into the main Pai streets. Just 100 metres from the hotel is a local market, which at night seems to be guarded by other, pretty stray/wild looking dogs. Long story short, Pai doesn't have taxis after 11pm, so my girlfriend and I were walking back to B2 at 2.30am and made no noise whatsoever walking past the closed up market. However something spooked these dogs who almost acted as guard dogs for the market. We did not provoke them, nor make any noise but for some reason the dogs (at least 12-15 of them) surrounded us and one of them bit my girlfriend's calf. Luckily Pai's hospital is only 2 minutes drive away so we could get the necessary Rabies vaccine early enough. The annoying thing was that after the incident, obviously very shooken up, it was not ideal to have dogs roaming round the hotel. It was pretty poor of the hotel to be honest as I have read similar stories through reviews of the hotel after the event happened. Very irritating
Isaac (10/5): Oasis in Pai. - B2 pai is amazing. The rooms are clean and large. Also they do a great job of keeping bugs out of your room. The pool was clean and super enjoyable after a day of exploring. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast it was yummy. Our only regret was not staying a day longer.
David (10/5): Relaxing weekend away in Pai - Stayed at B2 for a weekend away to Pai. Stayed in one of the luxury rooms, where you can walkout from your private balcony/terrace to one of the pools. Was great for relaxation. Surrounding area to hotel was quiet, yet still close to get down to the main streets and the night market. Would definitely stay here again.

No breakfast as yet and staff aren't the best trained, but there's safe parking, comfortable enough rooms and a lovely pool. Location wise, it's close enough to walk to the Walking Street but far enough so you don't get affected by the noise. Overall, great value for money.
