• Samaa (4/5): - I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The description mentioned WiFi, but there was no WiFi available everywhere in the hotel. They also claimed to have parking, but in reality, they only offer a pick-up service from a public parking lot that is 30 MAD a day. Unfortunately, when we tried to use this service, no one answered our calls, and we had to walk over 1 km to reach the hotel. Additionally, the suite was advertised as having two twin beds, but they were actually sofa beds. So, you either get sofa beds or a living room—not both as expected. Overall, the experience did not live up to what was promised.

Very disappointing to find out that all spa facilities were closed, there is not a lot to do apart from relaxing, it is advertised that WiFi is only in common areas, however there’s no service for your phone (4G) which should also be advertised as you cannot even make calls, so you would at least expect there to be other activities and facilities for their guests. When we arrived, we were expecting to use their pool and Spa Facilities especially because we’re in the middle of nowhere and we were met with everything being out of service to use except massage which they only had a man to do. You’d think in a country such as Morocco, there would be women to give massages to women. When asked why we were not informed, they said “it’s written on our Instagram”. We booked on Expedia, what makes you think we’re checking your Instagram? The cherry on top of the cake is the breakfast being extremely basic, hard bread and basic minimal options. Otherwise, the views were dreamy. Absolutely beautiful, waking up to birds tweeting and flowers growing everywhere, plants and vegetables growing. It was so so beautiful. The night seating with fairy lights under the trees and tents were stunning and very relaxing.

• Chaimae (10/5): - Heaven on earth! Loved everything here, food, rooms, the private waterfall, really amazing. However, it would’ve been nice to know about parking beforehand (that we had to park off property and call the driver to get us to the hotel) and to bring mosquito spray.
• Chaimaa (4/5): - Superbe endroit qui malheureusement ne vaut pas le rapport qualité prix !!! La suite est plus petite qu’elle ne paraît sur les photos. Les matelas sont extrêmement mou. La densité d’eau est très faible niveau douche/toilette. Le restaurant est beaucoup trop chère pour les plats servis et le temps du service (environ 45 min).

• Clara (10/5): - We had a nice stay at the L'Ermitage, the room was clean with complimentary water provided and the bathroom neatly stocked with a working hair dryer. Our view was excellent and walking around the property at night was very pleasant with little pockets of unique seating areas that lit up. Wacima was delightful and helped us with our check in and transfer needs, she was very friendly and even said hello at dinner time. The food was decent. Overall a great experience and relaxful retreat from typical riad and medina stays. The two hikes are very easy to access from this property and we got some helpful advice from the staff.

• ABDULLAH (8/5): - We liked the chalets and how clean they were. The exterior and interior design were amazing. The bathroom was so spacious. The nature around the hotel is breathtaking. We didn’t like there was no wi-fi in the chalets only in the restaurant. And no venting hood in the bathroom. And no insects mesh in the windows.
• Penelope (8/5): - The restaurant staff and menu were not very accommodating for vegetarians. This could be improved, with obvious vegetarian choices being made available on the menu. We encourage you to consider this, as other things about the hotel and environs are excellent, but this area is lacking.
• James (8/5): Cosy cabins in the woods - Lovely environment, great staff who tried very hard to make everything wonderful for our stay. Cabins are cosy. Would say this is almost eco friendly but they could work on replacing single use plastic bottles & amenities & not sure about energy usage supply. The dining and communal areas are great - food quite expensive by Moroccan standards but you’re paying for the environment & service. I would recommend this place for somebody wanting to visit Akchour for the hiking.
• Hakim (10/5): - The hotel was amazing! It’s very secluded and cozy with a natural beauty and surroundings. I stayed two nights and we loved it! The staff were great rabi3, yassir, driss, fouad and the lady running the kitchen (she was very kind to not charge us for a meal we substituted). We run into the Owner and was very nice and explained a bit of the cultural and historical aspects of the place. If you are looking to relax, chill, and explore nature and close by city of chefchaoun then look no further 👍 We picked swedish cabin

IT was very hot And the next morning was the breakfast not ready And was very poor. No fruit no yoghurt no cornflakes And we found a hair in our eggs.

If you need a box of wood to rest for a day no more...then yes, it is ok. But they lack all basic structures of hospitality and they are confused and very badly equipped and their building is really manny and everything you sit on isbokd and greasy and has cigarette holes...insulting to the nature around it ....like there a baby cresh at reception....are they serious ????? There are bags of cement used to block water to create...”swimming pools”...ahhh so ugly...so so ugly!

• Verified traveler (6/5): OK hotel in the most beautiful location! - The rooms themselves are standard wooden huts. It was rather disappointing that a double bed was squeezed in the top quarter of the ceiling with a very tight spiral ladder leading up to it. The bed was positioned so that once at the top you can view all persons below - it covered about the top half of the ceiling. An additional room is needed for this double bed or at least build the huts so that the ceilings are higher so that there is space once on the second ‘storey’ for someone to move about without having to crawl or band their heads! It was very claustrophobic up there! the two single beds on the ground floor were comfortable & nicely furnished. Initial welcome at the hotel was nice but rather than the staff telling us we should have called them to send us a car to pick us up from the main Taxi stop at Akchour ( Cars can only go a certain distance before having to park & the rest of the distance has to be covered by foot due to narrow winding mountain roads!) the hotel or expedia should have contacted us beforehand to inform us of this service! With baggage this distance was rather tiring unfortunately! Other than that service was acceptable - one particular gentleman named Sami was super friendly & helpful & catered to our every need! Service at breakfast was poor - we turned up first morning & were ignored, two other families turned up after us & were served before us. We were served without asking us what we wanted to eat! The location & garden made up for this all!
