- Verified traveler (2/5): LakeSide Flat - Wir waren für eine Nacht, auf dem Weg in den Urlaub, mit unseren 3 Kindern dort. Die Lage und die Wohnung an sich wirken auf den ersten Blick ganz nett und vielversprechend. Die Wohnung selbst ist in einem furchtbaren Zustand. Hygiene NULL. Als Familie nenne ich es: es war eine Herausforderung Ohne Kinder nenne ich es: es war eine Frechheit. Zum Glück war es nur eine Nacht. Ohne unsere Kinder hätten wir uns woanders eingebucht. Wir waren allerdings schon 15h unterwegs und haben versucht das beste draus zu machen.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Sehr schmutzige Wohnung, staubige Wohnung, der Zustand entspricht nicht der Bilder, die Lage ist optimal.
- Hussain (4/5): Dreckig und heruntergekommen - Ich war vorerst von den Bildern im Internet begeistert. Als wir ankamen haben wir die schöne Gegend bemerkt mit dem Fluss zum spazieren gehen. Der erste Schock begann bereits beim eintreten des Apartments. Es war noch nicht aufbereitet (wir waren zu früh) und alles war dreckig. wir warteten bis es 15 Uhr wurde (offizieller Check in) und wurden sitzen gelassen. Niemand kam, keine putzkraft, nichts. Als wir anriefen wurde uns gesagt es gab ein Missverständnis mit der Reinigungskraft etc. Das ziehte sich bis 16 Uhr und wir bekamen 10€ Rabatt. Das Problem jedoch war, dass die Putzfrau gerade mal 15 min geputzt hat. Wir müssten selbst nochmal nachwischen und alles in Ordnung bringen. Ebenfalls störend waren die Wohnzimmer Fronten. Es gab keine Rollläden, nur durchsichtige Gardinen. Man fühlte sich mit seiner Frau rund um die Uhr beobachtet. Nie wieder in dieses Apartment!

- Verified traveler (4/5): Total disappointment - The worst experience that I have had with expedia. You need to check the latest condition of places that you are advertising as 4 start .... before you do it. You cannot rely on pictures and condition that are three years old from 2014.
- Sara (2/5): Spider in bed! - Welcome staff was not service oriented, apartment wasn't well maintained and clean, location was passable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Poor service - The person who gave us the keys was unwelcoming. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. Apparently since we indicated it was for 2 adults and 1 child, they only set up 1 of the bedroom with bedsheets and a crib (chargeable separately). As we had a last minute addition of 2 adults (only for 1 night), the staff who received us was very upset, since he needed to provide us with extra bedsheets and towels. Not only were we charged an extra €40 (which I would not have minded, if the service was better), we had to put up with his displeasure, and put the bedsheets in ourselves. In the other apartments i've stayed in, all rooms would be set up with bedsheets and pillows regardless of the number of adults indicated! Poor maintenance of apartment - Furniture and kichen utensils provided were worn out. Overall, the apartment did not seem clean. The last straw was when we saw a spider on our bed, we moved out a night earlier. Location was ok - We did like staying by the river as it was quiet and peaceful. There was also a supermarket about 15mins walk away. It was about a 15mins drive to Dusseldorf city. Disappointed with stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very spacious and pleasant!!! - Stay was phenomenal. The "double apartment" is HUGE and we felt like the 3 of is easily could have lived there! Reza is very friendly and helpful and made sure we were all set for our stay. Very much loved our experience here! Don't pass this up for a traditional hotel!
- June (8/5): Comfortable and close to public transport - I would call this accommodation budget good value for money clean and spacious, it was self contained but no tea towels it has a microwave but not suitable dishes. Good location easy access to public transport, shops and places to eat. It was not easy to find even with sat Nav I recognised the building from the photos on the net. The environment is lovely by the lake and park, during our stay unfortunately it rained most of the time but we still went for walks and loved the view of the lake. Parking is a problem you park during the day there is time restrictions as we were going into Düsseldorf we needed somewhere to leave the car secure parking is available for 10 euros a day cash which we paid we felt when saying parking is available it should say if you have to pay or not as the parking space was allocated to the flat. The wifi was great very fast no problems. Overall we would stay again at Lakeside Flats
- Laura (8/5): Nette Unterkunft am See - Die Lakeside Flat ist kein Hotel sondern eine Wohnung, die von Privatleuten vermietet wird. Für unseren Citytrip mit 5 Mädels war die Wohnung perfekt! Vor allem die Lage ist traumhaft. Es gibt 2 Balkone, einen davon mit Seeblick und die nächste U-Bahn-Station ist auch nur 300 m entfernt. Allerdings waren wir etwas enttäuscht von dem Zustand der Wohnung. Die Bilder im Internet versprechen leider etwas anderes. Die Badezimmer waren sehr alt und seit mehreren Jahren nicht renoviert. Aus dem Spülkasten der Gästetoilette lief Wasser heraus, so dass wir diese nicht genutzt haben. Und auch die Küche hatte ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die übrigen Räume waren schön und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
