- Anabella (2/5): - There’s a hotel a few minutes away I’d recommend. I will just say, I never leave bad reviews ever. I got a room here and was charged $160 for one night because of the “waterpark” I thought it had. It’s non existent. Little play area for kids is unsafe. Lady was rude to my husband we traveled and arrived around 10pm and she was very rude to him about that when I had the room reserved for about a month. If you’re absolutely desperate, go ahead and get a room. But I won’t be going back.
- Adela (6/5): - This was not our best stay. We felt there were safety hazards present that need to be addressed. We did enjoy the proximity of a good restaurant and state park.
- Kathy (8/5): Better than some places close by - Very nice staff. Old and out dated dirty rooms. Had to clean it before we could shower. Blood and dust on walls. Dirty towels with hair and dirty bed lines. Large crack in door to see outside. No bugs though. Very quiet and kind staff. Microwave, fridge, and coffee maker in room

- Catherine (4/5): - It was clean but the decor was way way way outdated, I know it says 60s theme but let's call it what it is , old and outdated, pillowcases were yellowish. They should seriously consider new bedding . I' was grossed out by that. Could hear the people next door.
- AMY (2/5): - We started having issues before we even left on our trip with the hotel owner running our credit card and then cancelling it so that we would have to pay in advance even though we had it setup to pay at the property. When we got there and I pointed out to her that what my paperwork from Travelocity showed about pay at property. She then informed me that doesn't allow you to pay at property that way she doesn't have to pay the Travelocity fees for using their service. Can you say scammer! When we got to our room, we found that it was clean but that's all it had going for it. The A/C unit barely put out cool air, it had a musty smell to it and the shower head was off of a kitchen sink. The hotel owner was rude on the phone and in person until she had our money then she was nice and personable. She has the property up for sale but is doing very little in upkeep to sell it.Next time we'll be staying down the road at one of the other hotels.

Then they expect a TIP!! when they don’t even make the bed………. The pool looked dirty, my child tried sliding in the pool slide but got stuck cause there wasn’t enough water to slide down into the pool. She jumped in the water and less than 4 minutes she said I want to go.( So we left the pool. ) again the lady who answers the phone needs an attitude adjustment. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this motel. ( better off finding something 20 miles away if possible ) the lady SERIOUSLY needs people skills…….

One of the mattresses in the double room does need to be replaced. We did notice that they have been making improvements such as new windows and railings. I am sure the mattresses will be next.

- Jean (8/5): Comfortable vacation spot. - The room was very clean and comfortable. Honestly the TV size could be better or in a better spot. The swimming pool needs some serious TLC. Overall the place was very nice. Dont forget to say Hi to the doggie.

- Lee (2/5): Ants!!! - Checked in and the lady at the counter was nice enough. The place looks sketchy driving up but once to the room it wasnt as bad. Or so we thought. Upon closer inspection there was candy wrappers left under the beds and looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in forever. We overlooked it as we know how hard it is nowadays. Went to bed that night and woke ip the next morning covered in ants. They were all over 2 of the beds and the night stand in between. I went to talk to the lady at the counter and she immediately got an attitude claiming they had just had an exterminater out that specifically targeted the building our room was housed in. I showed her the video i took of the ants and her response was that she wasnt calling me a liar. I checked us out and despite the evidence i submitted( a nine second video of ants crawling everywhere) i received only half a refund. Do not and will not recommend to anyone passing through. GO SOME WHERE ELSE!

The AC was unable to be turned below 74. The "indoor water park"... Well it made me wonder what constitutes a water park. The place seemed a little seedy and not the room you go back to for a comfortable nap. The towns people were very friendly and the local shops were great. The Diamond Mine, glad I did it, but just not for me. We had a wonderful trip all in all!! Make the best of what you got!

But If you are looking for a simple clean place to stay with your pet, this is it. Like I said it's older but I found it to be very clean and enjoyed our stay. Would rent here again.

- Timothy (4/5): Dont choose pay at property - Choose pay at hotel. They charged my debiy card 2 days in advance causing me to get an overdraft fee. If they would of charged the day of or when i checked in i wouldbt of had an overdraft fee. If they want to charge before you get there take that option off. Lady was then rude when i asked about why and she said they had to. Pool opens at 1pm and closes at 9pm. Door says it only opens if more than 10 kids but that may not be the case. Room was spacious and clean. Overall if it was not how they charged me before i arrived causing the extra fee it would of been a better rating. Would I stay again depends if I am PAYING AT THE PROPERTY or WHEN I BOOK IT. If xhoosing pay at property then no i wouldnt because it would bot be paying at the property but days before.

- cynthia (2/5): Worst motel in Arkansas - Mold in the bathroom, filthy carpet, bugs everywhere, we had to go buy a bottle of air freshener because of the smell. The lady behind the desk absolutely denied a refund and told us she was friends of the sheriff.

Our room was right next to some huge windchimes, so we will see how thst goes with sleeping, lol. The owners are very accommodating for our dog, and the nightly fee was very reasonable. This property has an indoor pool, and close to the State Park. I would recommend this property for a comfortable stay.

Walking into the room didn’t seem that bad other than it was 95 degrees in there. Pulled back the sheet on the bed to find what looked like blood stains. Turned on the water to the shower, water came out brown, bath tub wouldn’t drain. My husband killed a cockroach. We stayed in the room all of 10 minutes before deciding that this wasn’t the place for us. When we went to “check out” my husband asked for a refund because we were just going to go on to the next town. The owner then made the comment that our “truck looked a little too new to be staying there anyways”. Would not recommend.

The waterpark is a very small swimming pool with 2 slides. There were about 10 people in the pool and there was not enough room for everyone. I did not complain to staff about the room but if I was staying any longer than I did I would have asked for a refund and left as soon as we arrived. I paid for a 2 queen room and I got a room with 2 queen headboards attached to the wall with 2 full beds. The shower was clogged and we dug a big ball of hair out of it. The carpet by the door had a big square missing. There is a huge gap around the entry door that you can see daylight through. And a huge safety issue to me is there is no deadbolt lock or chain or anything on the door. All in all, I will not be returning and I cannot recommend for anyone else.

- Lena (2/5): - This was our 2nd time staying there. The first time was ok so we decided to stay there again. The room was very awkward in the way the sink was placed. It was outside the bathroom which is fine but it was right in front of the air conditioner so it blows your hair all over while trying to brush your teeth or wash your hands. The towels were extremely rough, almost painful. The dog next door barked constantly. The reclining armchair was broken and so old and dirty. We will not be staying there again.

It had window units for the air right beside the sink, so it is blowing cold air right on you while using the sink The bathtub was in it's own room with no ventilation so it gets steam built up while taking a shower. The swimming pool water was cloudy so we didn't swim in it. It was clean though, but could use some upgrades. The office seemed to always have the doors locked so you need to ring the bell for service, but they always answered. Anyway, it's an okay place to stay if nothing else is available.
- William (2/5): - The room was not as portrayed on its web site, there was a large gap under the door to the room, the curtain over the window on the entrance door was see through and this was the only window in the room. The ceiling had cracks in it that had been poorly repaired with tape and paint. There were gaps along the base boards and in the corners, large enough for rodents or insects to enter into the room. The room had an odder of cleaning solution strong enough to make my wife nauseous. The carpets were dirty and covered with throw rugs. The pedestal sink, located outside of the bathroom, was lose and wobbly. The air conditioning unit was a window unit mounted in the wall by the sink was loud and did not cool very well. The light switch for the shower/commode area was located on the outside of the bathroom wall and the bath area door did not close. The commode seat was so loose it slid around on the toilet bowl. We were supposed to stay three nights and only stayed one. There was not another motel in the area that took pets, a small bird in a cage, so we cut our stay short and returned home. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and will not be staying here again, even in an emergency.

- Jason (6/5): Nice town - It was quiet considering the road next to us, it was a pleasant stay but I'd have to recommend that the beds be updated because it was the most uncomfortable bed ever, and the indoor water park only had one slide open and the kiddie park was closed for some reason so my 4 yr old didn't have much to do. That's the main reason we chose this place was for the indoor water park. But other than that it was a good stay. They also have those little rides that stores have outside the building for little kids to ride free of charge. It's right in the middle of everything. Not many food places to choose from but the ones there were really good. If you come stay here I'd recommend eating at Terry's restaurant, it was amazing!

The host went above and beyond in ensuring our room was set up to our satisfaction. I was pleasantly surprised by the housekeeping service provided during our three-night stay. While there are no on-site dining options, a nearby gas station is within walking distance. Additionally, the pet-friendly policy adds to the appeal of this establishment.
- Carl (6/5): Don't pay in advance... book when you arrive - Not exactly friendly check in process. We arrived around 9:30 p.m. and I think we woke up the elderly clerk. Don't believe the sign that says office open until 10 p.m. and the other sign that says walk-ins welcome anytime. Plus, wait until you get there to pay... online we were charged 20% more for the room based on all of the huge advertising signs that are all over the place.
- Crystal (4/5): You get what you pay for - You get what you pay for, not a lot of food options. The plumbing is opposite of your typical plumbing. Almost scald myself. The Waterpark hours is terrible. Didnt get to experience the Waterpark.
- Allen (2/5): If You have to sleep indoors, this may work. - Went for the Eclipse. We got screwed on the price but that is acceptable. We only needed two beds and they only offered an interlocking room which was not needed. 4 beds in two small interlocking rooms. Pictures showed a sprawling suite. Definite scam job. My bed was fine, ac worked. It was as clean as a vintage 50's MOTORLODGE with absolutely no renovations can be. Everyone of the staff were nice. My kid wouldn't go in the water. I sure as hell wouldn't.
