- Dusty (8/5): It was OK place to sleep - Location and price I would stay again If only they would fix stuff like bathroom door, don’t close fan and bathroom don’t work half of the windows are not usable. Other than that everything else was OK.
- Lucila (10/5): -
- Maria Eduarda (7/5): -
- Aaron (7/5): -
- Greg (6/5): Needed a last minute overnight used booking credits - Price location Not so friendly, noisy
- Campos (1/5): Heather 4 hours to warm up Fake advertising, dirty furniture and extremely dirty vinyl for floors. - Shower inside the tub clean, mo mold.
Sheets clean.
Inside refrigerator clean. FAKE OCEAN VIEW ADVERTISING AND VERU DIRTY.
furniture looks like clean, till I placed my clothes in top the table and it got dirty like it was dust, but it would come off. So I grabbed a hotel hand towel, wet and cleaned the table, and it come out dirty, everything else the same, they dont dust, they use a type of furniture oil to make look clean, but it is actually not.
The heater takes 4 hours to heat the room to 75. It was 47F we arrived around 11:30pm, we could not splee of how cold it was.
We took a shower and walked on the floor, EXTREMELY DIRTY, WE HAD TO WASH OUR FEET AGAIN. SEE THE VIDEO. I USED A WET TOWEL TO PROOF IT.
NOWWWWWW.... it was saying ocean view, when we got to the room, they made a very creative blackout using a printed glass beach picture, we laugh thinking, oh tomorrow morning we will see the ocean. Well we stayed 2 days. 1st day fog, 2nd day clear skies, YOU CAN'T SEE THE OCEAN FROM THE ROOM WE STAYED!!!!
- Barker (4/5): -
- Javina (6/5): It was nice and we stayed a extra night - It was relaxing The room was super cold
- charles (10/5): I was just traveling through. It was a great place to stay. - I was just traveling through. It was great. Nothing negative to say
- Amber (3/5): I stayed dry and semi warm so I didn’t sleep in a car - I liked that the black out blinds were actually black out and no light came in from them. And the pictures on them.
I also like that there were multiple ways to securely lock the “main” door to the room There was nothing to use in the kitchen. So you couldn’t buy food from the Safeway down the road and cook/eat it there. No vent to the stove hooked up. The cord to the microwave and coffee maker wasn’t long enough to be plugged in.
The bathroom door would not latch to close properly. The shower water does not stay in the shower. Eve with the curtain closed all the way-there was a large amount of water that went not the floor and I almost fell
- Shawnie-Jo (5/5): Was really hopeful but disappointed. - The beds were comfy, the breakfast was good, check in was easy, location was close to everything. The rooms with double queen beds is really big with lots of room. Its dirty! Floors dont get mopped. Crumbs and pieces of food gets left from previous guests. Ended up going to dollar tree to get cleaning supplies so we could clean the floor and counters. The room with the king size bed, that cost more, was so amll you could barely move around. Things were broken like, the floor, the windows dont open easily, chips and broken peices of the furniture. Looks like the upkeep isnt done very much.
- Lewis (9/5): Good value, comfortable bed, but could use some updating. - Very nice bedding. Clean room. Well stocked with towels.
Well lighted parking. Electrical wiring could be updated.
Breakfast could add some protein options.
- lewispK7630CQ (8/5): Good stay., - Clean and comfortable room
Great sheets, Mattress and pillows
Good local pizza place, walkable.
Well lighted parking, no problems with a loaded work truck.
Meatless breakfast was adequate! Waffles, cereals and fresh bananas.
Good stay for price.
- Carrie (7/5): -
- Brenda (3/5): Disappointing false advertisement - Nothing I don’t like that they’re advertising ocean view and even charge about $30 more for the ocean view rooms but there’s no such thing I was very disappointed in that they should at least discounted the so-called oceanview room
- Tereesa (3/5): - The location was convenient It looks like a pay-by-the-week type of residence-motel. There was a man lingering behind my room.
- Araceli (6/5): - I love the location. TV kept losing signal the whole time we were there. Couldn't watch TV while in the room
- Carolina (6/5): -
- Angel (10/5): -
- Rita (8/5): -
- Shawn (4/5): Clean room. Sucky Staff. Don't leave valuables in your car or room - Room was very clean Front window was off. Someone had removed the screen and popped the window off it's track breaking in. The screen was lying on the geound. Told staff. All she said was it's ok dont worry about it. We had to put the window back on track and install the screen ourselves. Window would t go completely onto the track so could easily be opened. Signs up in parking lot warning not to leave valuables in car. Only camera in lot was facing the office. We did not have a problem but all indications were that burglaries appear to be frequent there
- Mohit (8/5): - Near all the spots Rooms are prety small wrt prize
- Teresa (7/5): It was a decent room for the price. - The staff was very nice and they offered breakfast. There was not even one outdoor trash can which is very inconvenient. My daughter got a room as well with two kids in diapers and iwe stayed for two nights. There was not even one outdoor trash can to dispose of dirty diapers or food etc.
- Richard (7/5): -
- Hill (2/5): - The breakfast sucked it had cereal n waffles that was it wait n toast my cable box just sat on top of a wall mounted tv the room was so small to put luggage on a chair I had to walk sideways it was a dirtbag hotel with a new paint job really sorry to say A lot the husband was grouchy the breakfast sucked n the room was garbage the bed frame was for a king n the mattress was a queen so myself n my grandson kept hurting ourselves on it
- Catherine (7/5): - Breakfast was decent, although the coffee was just water. The heater was making a very loud noise and I didn't turn it off because it wouldn't let me sleep.
- Joy (7/5): Conveniently located in the center of town. - Location was convenient. Needed more towels. No cleaning service offered, we didn’t ask either.
- Marisol (8/5): -
- Marisol (8/5): "It's good, but it could use some improvements." - It Was good. The Breakfast was poor 🫤
- Nicole (5/5): - It wasn’t clean
- Tammy (9/5): Staff was great! - Good Location
- Donahue (8/5): -
- Robert (3/5): Dirty, adequate - Good location. Bed was comfortable Room was not clean, and over a 7 night stay, I had to beg for housekeeping service.
- Cass (6/5): Place was good for the price, older but clean, the office needs to prioritize the customer and be available. It felt lik - Location was great for what we wanted to do and cost was good Staff never in the office, she told us breakfast was at 7-10 and when we arrived at 7, she said it was 7:30. She took about five rings of the bell to come out and assist us
- Christa (10/5): -
- Bobbie (8/5): - Close to town and close to the ocean. With an ocean view, clean rooms Nothing, it was a nice stay
- Tori (1/5): Hotel charged my card for the stay knowing room was already paid - Location Shady people running property
- stephen (2/5): I didn't pay much per night but I did expect a little bit more - Drugged out homeless people partying outside my room. When I made staff aware of the problem they tried to assure me that they wouldn't bother me. I'm really surprised that the Wyndham company would endorse this property.
- lupe (7/5): - It was a place to sleep at night. Feel like the place couuld have been upgraded a little.
- Jamie (1/5): Do not rent - The property was ran down I checked in and sat on the bed and tried to look around and find something I liked but I couldn’t come up with anything
- Shonda (5/5): It was a bed, I will not be back, will not recommend this place - The location is great, had hot water The whole advertisement, the suite was 2 tiny rooms with beds, you could hardly walk around, it said fireplace, it was non working, fridge non working, the shower configuration was strange, as for ocean view we had a pile of dirt in the parking lot, and the parking was just messed up, we couldn't even park by our room, and breakfast was nasty, the lady working the desk only came out of her apartment if you called the number on the door, my family member from out of state said she felt like unwanted company in someone else's house, to be honest I wished we had booked the Motel 6 down the street cheaper and looked so much nicer than this place
- Laurelle (1/5): Run For Your Life!! - NOTHING. There is nothing good about this place. This was the WORST room we have ever visited. Disgusting. Filthy. Smelly. Tiny. Staff was clueless. Upon entering, we were hit with major stink. Then we found a dirty, wet towel hanging on the door that the housekeeping staff forgot to remove. I checked the rest of the towels which were folded on a rack. They were damp - probably from previous guests and never washed. I almost gagged. I didn't even want to think of what the sheets were like. We immediately went to the desk to check out. We refused to stay. We took the filthy towel to the front desk. The woman was clueless. She didn't see the problem. When I told her we were checking out, she looked confused. I asked for a receipt, and she printed one out. We didn't expect a refund, but if they had any integrity, they would have given one. The receipt did not have the correct time, nor did she mark that we were checking out. Perhaps she didn't understand, as there may have been a language barrier. Regardless, we did not stay, and we texted our dissatisfaction and emailed one as well. They were clueless, as the following day we received both text and emails asking how our stay was! Wyndham should not have their name on this place. It has ruined their reputation in our minds, and we will never stay at another Wyndham location.
- Dayton (2/5): -
- Henry (4/5): Old, small, and just so-so if you're on a budget - I cant think of anything. Small, cramped space, terrible coffee.
Its very very old and outdated.
It says no pets but 2 rooms had barking dogs.
People partied upstairs until 2am.
The office smells of Indian food, the staff spoke in their native tongue, and I could not understand them. That was rude.
- Sarah (7/5): - Good waffles There was some dead insects in the room when we arrived.
- SHANNA (10/5): Very nice hotel - It's a cute hotel. Roomy. Nice and clean. Great view. Close to all the stuff. There was 2 guys that broke into the screen room next to ours but I guess he knew the occupant...? At least they were quiet! Haha!
- Paul (7/5): Clean and comfortable with basic facilities - Clean and comfortable, good breakfast Only one chair in room with two people. No mugs available for coffee/tea.
- Marlene (8/5): A clean comfortable stay. - Staff were responsive and polite when we checked in during the late hours of the night. The rooms are basic but clean. Bed was comfortable. The metal base the mattress sits on top of was awkward. It was easy to bump into which made a loud noise. The staff restocked the breakfast area frequently which we appreciated. For the price, it was standard with the staff and cleanliness making it a better experience. The shower was small. The place in general was dated. I would not say that was a big negative. For a quick comfortable stay it was fine.
- Stephanie (3/5): We will not stay here again. - Location was good. No one was there in office when we arrived at 1pm. When I called the office number trying to reach someone on the property I was asked if I had a reservation. When I answered Yes, I was told my room wasn’t ready and to come back at the check in time. The same unmanned office was littered with garbage from the mornings breakfast. The young son of the family operating this site was urinating in the flower bed. The room was old with holes in the walls. The online pictures are extremely deceiving!
- William (1/5): -
- Rick (1/5): Awful!! - Taking out the dirty washcloth from the previous guest would have been nice.
- Deanna (4/5): - Comfortable bed Cleaner floor, better plumbing,
- Susan (8/5): -
- Debora (6/5): -
- Eric (1/5): -
- Matthew (1/5): Cheap bed for sleep but nothing to write home about - It was in fort bragg and i was tired and needed to sleep. Bed wasn’t terrible. Wall-hung electric fireplace was appealing Bad location in town. People obviously live in the rooms with garbage bags and kids toys outside of rooms. Very noisy location. Difficult to sleep with noise. Mold on walls, needs a rehab.
- Ariana (5/5): -
- Cinzia (7/5): Very clean and decent room compared to other motels of similar range - Clean I would have like more interaction with FOH/receptionist
- William (5/5): -
- Shawna (3/5): - There was construction going on threw the night.
- Tim (8/5): Pleasntly ran - Good location Some features failed to function but staff did amazing to assist even though didnt resolve
- Dusty (5/5): At least the beds were really clean - Location Tv did not work trash in corner of the room table was dirty
- James (5/5): -
- Sparks (1/5): -
- janice (1/5): Power outage - Convenient The tv didn’t work and the front desk lady didn’t mention it. We stayed there due to the power outage in Mendocino and I booked Friday-Sunday since pg&e said service would be restored Sunday night. Well it was restored Saturday afternoon and we asked if we could be refunded for the Saturday night and she rudely said no….
- Christina (8/5): Satisfactory - Very central and convenient. It’s a little bit run down, but the price was right.
- Stephanie (9/5): - Staff is always friendly
Rooms are clean
- Guest (5/5): Served our purposes - Breakfast ok not very up to date
- Sergei (6/5): -
- Joseph (1/5): Take a pass on this place - Location Not clean or well kept. The beds had only 2 cotton sheets with a thin pleated sheet sandwiched in the middle to keep warm. Nothing else on the bed or available. Bare overhead light bulbs and cold hard floors. What was most odd was that there was no place to put a suitcase like on a dresser or table or folding luggage rack. Who rents their rooms that doesn't come with a suitcase? There was a used washcloth on the floor of the bathroom when we arrived, no light bulb in the lamp next to the bed, and the ventilation fan in the bathroom didn't work. This place gave me the impression that people who rent their rooms don't necessarily plan on spending the night.
- 143candyo (8/5): Take a ph when we call please. And also reply when we text please - It's clean and comfort enough with prices. Breakfast is nice . Shower water is 10 out of 10 .Easy to find out it's place and having enough car packing is so satisfying
- Jordyn (1/5): Horrible! - You guys suck! Absolutely nothing
- Justine (9/5): -
- Mary (1/5): Won't be returning - That is was by the ocean Didn't have a heater that worked in the room mind you I had 2 kids with me if it was just my husband and I it wouldn't of been an issue also the shower made a loud noise when you turned it on and the bathtub looked beyond run down and filthy.
The people in the office could have better customer service as well. And the bedding looked dirty. Thankfully I brought our own blankets and pillows.
- Julie (7/5): I recommend this place it is close to town and on highway 1 - I didn't have breakfast. I like having nobody above or below. The property was nice and I was provided a list of attractions with plaques all around to show how far each place is. Noisy early in the morning. Yelling and loud voices. Could hear when others had the fireplace and shower on. Room was stuffy.
- Dain (1/5): Nothing worked - Your “Ocean View” is nothing more than a screen pulled over your window with a picture of the Ocean. The TV didn’t turn on, the lights didn’t work, the heater did not work as well. I called the front desk to help with the heater as I was traveling with a newborn and they gave the most attitude, turned it on and left, it was still not working. I thought they were coming back but sure enough he did not. None of the outlets worked so our phones died before our alarms went off.
- Celeste (10/5): - The property was clean and quiet for the most part we had no issues There was nothing wrong with the property
- Ole Rodney (9/5): Clean room, great location - Great location by highway 1, close to restaurants. Quiet and clean room. Nothing special
- Richard (6/5): Fort Bragg, CA - Good value. Our room had everything we needed for a quick stay. The rooms are very dated and in need of refurbishing. What bothered us most is that there was a homeless person living out of their van in the parking lot which was surrounded by warning cones and came complete with a bucket that was being used as an open air toilet. The operators of the establishment obviously knew of the situation yet didn't appear to be doing anything to correct it.
- Lana (8/5): -
- Card (7/5): -
- Stephanie (8/5): - Friendly staff, clean Shower water pressure was light
- Weyandt (7/5): -
- JagdishJ55 (4/5): Be careful to consider noise pollution at serene location such as fort Bragg - Not a good experience as lots of noise from windows which are not soundproof or blocking.
Also, quality of placeeaves lot to be desired.
- Pendleton (1/5): - The windows fell out when door closed. Had to put it back in the track, but it barely stayed in. Security lock didn't work. Shampoo dispenser fell off in the shower.
- Rachael (2/5): - They changed me more for an ocean view that didn't exist
