Lcvo (9/5): Super nice and peaceful agriturismo - An amazing place in Tuscany! Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, but close to many sights. We loved the atmosphere. Our 3 bedroom apartment was spacious and the beds are comfy. Alessandro is always around and super friendly. The pool is large and surrounded by pine trees, our kids enjoyed it every day of our stay. Our terrace with outside furniture was so lovely! The restaurant wasn't open yet so can't comment on that. The buildings stay cool even in 25+C because of the thick walls and terracotta floors. We highly recommend thuis agriturismo! The kitchen is outdated and basic, but we managed to prepare lunch and basic meals. We really missed a sofa to chill after dark - the 3r apartment only has a dinner table with chairs but no sofa or lazy chairs.

Emily (8/5): Peaceful, quiet, great location to explore Tuscany - Very much enjoyed our stay! Quiet, peaceful, and good location to explore the Tuscany area. Feels very remote and was the perfect first leg of our trip to recover from Jet lag and settle into Italy! Nice to have full apartment to ourselves and was perfect fit for our family of 5. Air conditioning is not included (you can pay for it) and no shades, so light was very bright and warm in the mornings.

Henry (10/5): Beautiful agriturismo in a great location with wonderful hosts - Il Selvino was in a beautiful location amongst it's own large olive grove and had wonderfully renovated buildings, a large swimming pool and a children's play area, amongst their grounds. Alessandro and Elena were excellent and very generous hosts and the meal in their restaurant was fantastic! Our family had a wonderful stay with them and will return if we can.

Gillis (10/5): Een heerlijk verblijf. - Il Selvino is een fijne plek om te verblijven. Een heerlijk zwembad waar je baantjes kan zwemmen. Het huis was praktisch ingericht. Ruime keuken met oven en alle ramen voorzien van een hor. Ook extra kussens waren aanwezig. We hadden een privé terrasje. De eigenaren Alessandro en Elena zijn heel vriendelijk en betrokken en proberen het voor hun gasten aangenaam te maken. Ook zijn ze makkelijk bereikbaar. Het huis is ook makkelijk bereikbaar. We hebben 1x gegeten op het terras van Il Selvino. Ze hadden een fantastische maaltijd bereid en niet onbelangrijk, het was heel erg gezellig. Ik heb nog een blik van hun olijfolie meegenomen. Bijna dagelijks kwam er een bakker langs. Dat was wel heel erg makkelijk. Kortom, hier zouden we nog wel een keer terug willen keren. Il Selvino è un posto incantevole in cui soggiornare. C'è una bella piscina dove si possono fare delle vasche. La casa era arredata in modo pratico. C'è una cucina spaziosa con forno e tutte le finestre sono dotate di zanzariere. Sono stati forniti anche dei cuscini extra. Avevamo una terrazza privata. I proprietari, Alessandro ed Elena, sono molto cordiali e premurosi e si impegnano a rendere piacevole il soggiorno dei loro ospiti. Sono anche facilmente raggiungibili. Anche la casa è facilmente raggiungibile. Abbiamo mangiato una volta sulla terrazza del Selvino. Hanno preparato una cena fantastica e, cosa importante, è stata un'esperienza molto piacevole. Ho persino portato a casa una lattina del loro olio d'oliva. Un fornaio veniva quasi tutti i giorni, il che è stato molto comodo. In breve, ci torneremmo sicuramente. Fijn dat je er ook kan eten. Dat zou ik vaker gewild hebben.

Lilian (9/5): prachtige agriturismo waar we graag terugkomen - Het personeel, Alessandro en Elena waren zeer behulpzaam bij vragen. Problemen met de airco werden direct opgelost en we kregen van Elena veel goede tips voor leuke plaatsen om te bezoeken. Het zwembad was heel prettig en Il Selvino was een prima plek, vlakbij Teatro del Silenzio voor het concert van Andrea Bocelli De prijzen in het restaurant waren hoog. De kwaliteit was goed, maar de prijs te hoog

Hospitable, kind and extremely helpful. If we had control over the weather gods so we could use the pool but we visited when the weather was still a bit too cold for the water

John (9/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful property - The kids loved the pool and the apartment felt huge. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the evenings and exploring around the area during the day. They even had a coin operated washing machine which we used.

Lucy (7/5): Great stay, recommend staying in peak season to really enjoy the place. - It was a great location close to other towns and supermarkets. It was off season when we stayed so the onsite restaurant wasn’t open (would have been nice to know before booked). You can hear guest walking/moving above you, As we were on the ground floor.
Alexander (10/5): Beautiful Tuscany experience - Very friendly hosts, it is a pity that I couldn't chat properly with Alessandro and Elena, the wedding celebrations were too active :D thank you for allowing to check-out late. Everything was clean, very spacious apartment, which I didn't expect. And, of course, beautiful territory. With pool, table tennis and sun beds just to enjoy the place and weather.
Jan (9/5): Superb - Alessandro and Elena are very friendly and helpful hosts. The second time we stayed with them and still love the place. Ideal location for exploring Tuscany and the nearby wineries. Large garden with a pool, the kids loved playing in the garden in the evening with the other kids while we, the parents enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.
Christoph (10/5): Perfect place to calm down and spent quality time with the family! - Elena and Alessandro have created a wonderful place where you can feel very comfortable as a family! The accommodation and garden is a perfect Tuscan hideaway and a perfect location for day trips to Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena or Florence. Even to Bolgheri it is only 45 minutes by car. The accommodation and the entire facility are very well maintained and clean. The dinner, which can be booked 3 times a week in the high season, is authentic and of a high standard: very tasty! The hosts are very family-friendly and welcoming. When it matters most, they are happy to help wherever they can. -

Conrad (7/5): Good - Nice house situated in the middle of olive tress. Big pool, overall family-friendly. Very hearty, friendly and helpful hosts! Easy parking. You need a car to get around but Voltera, Pisa, San Gimignano are quite near. A few things we didn't quite like were that dishes were not properly cleaned cause there's no dishwasher. So we had to wash up before first cooking. You'll have to take care of disposal of your garbage except for compostable stuff. Also, Wifi was quite poor in our room. There's extra fees for a lot of things (e.g. washing machine (5 Euro), AirCon). Overall from our experience from other comparable agriturismos we think it's a bit overpriced due to the reasons mentioned above.

Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly family-run - Il Selvino is set amongst olive groves, close to the beautiful village of Lajatico, the home of Andrea Bocelli. The friendly owners of is agriturismo are on hand to help with any queries. Alessandro and his team provide lovely evening meals and even take requests. If you like steak, he barbecues, using olive wood, a beautiful florentine steak to share as a couple. Highly recommend. He was able to arrange a local driver to run us and 4 others up to the Andrea Bocelli concert, avoiding the queues by driving along unmade roads. Our only negative point was not having air conditioning in 34' heat, sometimes sleeping was difficult and opening the windows at night was not possible due to mosquitos. All in all though a great place to stay and visit the surrounding villages and towns. Our only
