- Verified traveler (10/5): Dream Spot - Pension Waldruhe is a charming old home that has been completely redone. The location is beautiful and the service is top-notch.

I enjoyed just hanging around and relaxing in the solarium next to the hotel. The location is extremely beautiful exceeding the photographs of the hotel that were provided in the website. Trails are provided adjacent to the hotel that extend to and beyond the city of Bad Aussie and to the lake which is located approximately a half a mile from the hotel. The hotel is also within a 20 minute drive from Hallstatt. There are bathing areas carved out in the river. However, the water is a little cold for October bathing. The rooms are exceptionally pretty and inviting. A lovingly and well prepared breakfast is provided. Free parking is also provided.
