Valérie (6/5): Peut mieux faire - Il n'y a rien a dire sur la propreté. Le bémol est plutôt axé sur l'aspect pratique : l'hotel n'est pas équipé de clim mais le ventilateur ne peu pas être branché ailleur qu'au près du lit, de plus j'aurais aimé dormir avec les fenêtres grandes ouvertes mais du coup je ne pouvais pas fermer les rideaux. L'espace des sanitaires est un peu limité notamment pour l'usage des wc. Le choix des denrées salées pour le petit déjeuner est à mon goût un peu limité : jambon blanc industriel, une seule sorte de fromage, pas d'oeuf.
Laetitia (10/5): - A wonderful stay in the centre of Caen. The hotel is quaint clean and the room was spacious and lovely. We had a good fan, a welcome addition during the heatwave. A lovely view into Caen and close to restaurants and touristic attractions. We highly recommend!

Lise (8/5): Small nice hotel - The room was very big nice and clean. A small cooker for making tea and coffee would be perfect but just a small enhancement. Parking is a bit cumbersome as you have to park in the street
Steve (6/5): - My wife was having some medical issues and it was really difficult for her to climbed three flights of stairs. After explaining my situation to the manager he was unwilling to give us a room on the bottom floor. Parking is really difficult to find if you get back late.

Overall the room was clean but not spotless clean ( I made the mistake to put my bag over the wardrobe…. And lots of dust came down). In general I would say great value for money

Kenza (10/5): Très bon séjour - Accueil très agréable et chaleureux le soir de mon arrivée. Les gérants sont très arrangeants, notamment pour pouvoir entreposer temporairement les bagages même après avoir quitté la chambre ! Le cadre est agréable, la chambre est jolie, propre et confortable. Je recommande vivement cet hotel pour profiter pleinement de la ville de Caen (situé en plein coeur).

Vue sur l'église qui ne sonne pas (petite appréhension en arrivant). donc très calme. Et petit déjeuner de roi servi en chambre !!! bcp de mérite en revenant à notre hôtesse avec les nombreuses marches à monter pour amener le petit déj. Et très bien situé (à 2 pas du centre ville). Au final, séjour très agréable. A recommander chaudement et nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Et le soleil était de la partie !!!

Annett (8/5): Kleines Hotel in guter Lage - für Städtetrip ok - Das Hotel ist zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Man befindet sich quasi in der Innenstadt. Dennoch ist es ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten außerhalb Caens. Mit Straßenbahn oder Bus gelangt man direkt in wenigen Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof. Von dort fahren Busse direkt ans Meer zu den Seebädern, Honfleur oder auch Flixbusse mit direkter Verbindung nach Rouen & Mont Saint Michel sind problemlos verfügbar. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr klein. Für die tatsächliche Nutzung eines Doppelzimmers zu zweit muss man sich schon ganz sehr mögen und darf nicht gar soviel Gepäck haben bzw. große Einkäufe tätigen. Das Frühstück wird in einem reizenden Raum angeboten. Allerdings muss man wohl am Abend vorher anmelden frühstücken zu wollen, ansonsten gibt es nichts. Schwierig, wenn man wie wir mit Tagestouren die Normandie erkundet hat und erst nach 21:30 Uhr zurück ist. Im Übrigen dürfte es auch trotz ruhiger Lage für gelassene Schläfer schwierig sein, da die Sanitäranlagen (bedingt durch eine eigenwillige Konstruktion wie uns schien), wann immer sie in einem Zimmer benutzt werden (also auch nachts - klar) einen barbarischen Lärm verursachen. Schön war, bei später Anreise nach Rezeptionsschluss, mit einem Biref nebst Obstteller und Wasser begrüßt zu werden. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist reizend & liebevoll durchdacht. Alles in allem für einen Städtetrip zu dem Preis ok.

Lovely location near the chateau and a nice church, which is just visible from the quaint court yard outside some of the ground floor rooms and enclosed within the hotel. Medieval building, so lots of character. Breakfast was an additional cost to the price of the room. Our family room was adequate and had a TV and the beds were comfy.

Paul (10/5): Central Caen - very friendly and helpful staff - Excellent location in centre of Caen, with free on-street parking nearby between 6pm and 9:30am. Staff exceptionally helpful and our triple room was ideal as was a room with en-suite leading to separate room. Gave our daughter a little more privacy. On top floor, so be prepared to keep fit. En-suite compact, but had everything we needed. Hotel was tricky to find as in a street not suitable for cars, but we use a map rather than a sat-nav.
