• Luis Angel (10/5): - La cama super cómoda, la habitación muy limpia, el personal super atento y bien ubicado, se llega a cualquier parte del centro caminando, en general 10/10 Si habria que escribir algo, podría decirse del estacionamiento que está aparte del hotel y un poco reducido, pero teniendo en cuenta que las calles en el centro son reducidas en cualquier parte está igual así que no es que sea algo malo, al contrario, te solucionan y te proporcionan un lugar para estacionarse, así que tampoco hay queja por esa parte.

• David Iverson (8/5): Good for quiet stay - Colonial style, new build. Third floor rooms 30-35, have great 180 degree views, My room 30 large and comfortable. 3 blocks walk to restaurants. Quiet. Staff helpful when pressed. Ground floor rooms dark and lack privacy. Breakfast only, Poor coffee. Bar available only on Saturday. Another hotel with similar name "Margurita".

• Elisabeth (9/5): Great location and extremely good value for money - The place and court yard is beautiful. The rooms are big and cleaned daily. I had a beautiful view overlooking the mountains. I also found it high value for money with the discount booking on booking.com app only 5 euro more per night compared to hostel prices without own bathroom. So very happy with my stay. They did not have any reception staff speaking other than Spanish. But we managed with translate applications.

• Krisztina (9/5): Spacious hotel with lots of plants in the heart of San Cristobal - Lovely spacious hotel in the heart of San Cristobal de las Casas, which has lots of nice plants and small inner garden, offering tasty breakfast and excellent service from all personnel. The beds in the rooms are very good for sleeping, with adequate covers and there is silence around the whole hotel. You feel tranquil and well received, and even on a busy holiday week didn’t feel crowded at all. Very close to downtown, and it has a parking garage as well. Very good value for the money. Nothing really, it was pleasant, maybe a bit of maintenance in the bathroom details. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay here.

• Rosa Luz (10/5): HERMOSO HOTEL EN SAN CRISTOBAL - Todo estuvo excelente! El personal son excelente personas, buscaban todo el tiempo ser amables y generarnos una gran experiencia. El lugar es muy bonito, las habitaciones, la comida, todo estuvo muy bien. Solo diría que se vayan bien abrigados, las habitaciones no cuentan con calefacción ni aislamiento y aunque tienen ropa de cama caliente, el piso es muy frío. Pero todo lo demás estuvo muy bien, ¡gracias!

De douche is lekker warm en een harde straal. De kamers zijn wat donker maar je kan lekker in de binnen tuin zitten.

Recomendación: en caso de ir en auto particular, indicar la necesidad de estacionamiento al hacer la reservación. De igual manera, 5-10 minutos antes de llegar, comunicarse al hotel para indicar que estan proximos a llegar. El hotel queda en una calle muy estrecha (como todas las de San Cristobal) por lo que el personal del hotel debe apoyar para el estacionamiento al momento de la llegada). Oportunidad de mejora: el colchón no fue totalmente de mi agrado (es algo particular en mi caso). Espero que tengan oportunidad de mejorar en ese sentido.

The garden and relaxation area are filled with gorgeous plants – a little paradise. We arrived early in the morning intending just to leave our luggage, but they allowed us to check into the room, which was really great after an all‑night drive from Oaxaca. The hotel is at most a 6–7 minute walk from the center, in a quiet area. Highly recommended

• Rafal_MK (9/5): - Modern, clean, and comfortable place with a nice view of the mountains. Conveniently located close to the station, grocery shops, restaurants, the main square, and local mercados. Breakfast was served from a provided menu, with only one course allowed, but it was good and tasty, and coffee was unlimited. There is a water dispenser available for guests in the corridor. The interior is nicely decorated, and the staff are very kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. There is also an option to book tours directly from the reception, and the prices are reasonable. The Wi-Fi can be unreliable.
• Stephan (9/5): Schönes Stadthotel, in toller Lage und schönem Innenhof - Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt und hat einen schönen Innenhof. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gab sogar eine Heizung. Nichts zu meckern.

• Melanie (9/5): - The hotel is located in the middle of ADO terminal and colectivos to Chamula and Zinacantan, each place takes around 17 minutes walking. 8 minutes to the main square and restaurant district. 4 minutes to a laundry store. The room is very pacious and the courtyard is well decorated, you can enjoy some good time just staying in the small garden. Breakfast is very good and provide you with local plates and other regular choices. Beds are really comfy. The room gets cold in the evening, maybe due to the winter season at San Cristobal.
• E (9/5): Great place! - Beautiful place and settings - the beds were super comfortable and clean, we slept really well! Staff were all really sweet and friendly. Could do with a bit of modernising - we missed having a smart TV as the cable tv channel options weren’t great.
• Yvonne (4/5): Big bedroom but unhelpful staff, bad coffee and breakfast and overall rather soul-less. - attractive hotel with big rooms and green areas in good location. No staff spoke good English including reception and the breakfast waiter. The breakfast was very bad, no choice, very meagre, small bits of cold toast, weak coffee, either cereal or a tasteless egg. We were there two nights and I cancelled breakfast the second morning and asked for my money back for the one we had eaten, they refused to give us the money back 'because we had eaten it.' So despite its physical appeal I do not rate the service at all at this 4 star hotel.
