Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): A comfortable retreat with gracious hosts, well-appointed rooms, and an outstanding breakfast - The Inn at Onancock was a lovely respite from DC. Kim could not have been more gracious in accommodating not just us but our son and his friend, whom we were visiting. A comfortable space, a room that was classically appointed but with all the modern features, and a superior breakfast. We’ll be back.
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely! - It felt very comfortable. The inn keeper was lovely ensuring our needs were met. The breakfast was fabulous! The flowers and gardens were beautiful and well attended. n/a

- Heather (10/5): Relaxing, informative and inspirational! - I originally booked this trip for a vacation. Prior to arrival at the Inn I earned an interview with a company 4 minutes away from the inn. Kim helped me to relax and have confidence for the interview. The following day I vacationed and Kim gave me more suggestions than I could possibly experience in one day! I appreciate the guidance made an easy car ride to see wild ponies! Back to the inn beautiful inside and out. Kim feeds you until you pop. I loved the coffee bar being available 24 hours. I appreciate the 830 am breakfast. I did not like not having more time to spend there.

We never felt rushed.

- Priscilla (10/5): Want to just move in. - Kim makes you feel very welcome. There is a “wine down” daily at 5 where she provides her guests with snacks, beverages, and conversation with your fellow guests. The house is lovey, clean, comfortable, quiet, and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Breakfasts are fabulous. She knows what she’s doing. Nothing.

The “Wine Down” was a special touch that allowed for a quiet get together and a perfect way to get to know the guests and charming owners (Kim and Matt) We loved everything about the Inn but (beyond control of the Inn) there was an air raid siren that broke the silence during the night to alert the Volunteer firefighters.

Onancock is a lovely small town with a choice of bars and restaurants. The top floor room was wonderfully quiet and intimate. The 5.30pm wine and nibbles was a lovely touch. Breakfast... what can we say? Truly delicious. It was a pleasure to meet you and well done, Kim, Matt and Dante! Nothing at all!

- Bowers (10/5): Wonderful time and wonderful people!! - We were so pleased with The Inn at Onancock! Everything was just perfect, we met new people, the owners are wonderful and everything was just perfect. The room was great, the food was much more than expected and we could not have asked for a nicer time. It was an anniversary and we will go back to this inn. Onancock is a wonderul little town, quiet neighborhoods, not a lot of traffic and beautiful homes. There is not a thing I can think of that we did not like in Onancock.
- Margery (10/5): In one word...Premium! - Kim & Matt we're excellent hosts, more like old friends! The property was beautiful inside & out. Located in a quaint little town, like out of a storybook. The breakfast was delish. We're definitely planning to stay again...and again at the Inn at Onancock.
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts are a very warm and inviting couple (as well as Dante). We loved the engaging happy hour to meet the other guests.
- Douglas (10/5): Aside from the bed, this place was so great we'd definitely go back and stay a few days. - The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and it was fun sitting and talking with the other guests. The owners filled us in on town history and stories about the area. We would like to go back sometime and spend a few days there.
They were nice enough to stay up and wait for us after a long day of travel. My wife doesn't eat meat, I don't recall if there was an option before we stayed to let them know that she would have liked a vegan meat alternative. The bed was soft in the middle, a firmer mattress would have made it easier for us to sleep. Our feet and heads were both higher than our rear ends.
- William (9/5): comfortable quiet and delicious food. The “wine down” was very relaxing and we got to meet some interestingly people. - The hosts were welcoming and helpful. very nice people.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
