Guest Reviews
- Kamilla (10/5): - The place is very cozy and comfortable with a good vibe. We enjoyed spending a lot of relaxing time there, it is peaceful but has life in it as the family who runs the business is always around:)
The staff is very kind, full of smiles, they made our stay very pleasant. The pool is a 10/10 experience in such a heat:)

- Christopher (5/5): I just did. - No Menu, only 1 item for breakfast,,,,, 2eggs, bread, fruit, tea / coffee
Location was ok, nice to walk around.
The pool was excellent, well maintained. the walls a so thin you could hear the people next door Breathing.
Customers were drinking heavily, having BBQs outside my room / door making a lot of noise.
04 - 30 am someone was trying to get into my room by way of the knob. In the end i had to confront the guy and tell him exactly what i thought and to go away.
Its extremely dangerous to have the main electric power switch in the same area where you shower.
Doors did not fit , cardboard to cover a broken window. I think i will stop now'

- Hendrik (10/5): - From the very first moment, I felt truly welcome here. What I liked the most was without a doubt the people the entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful at all times. You can really feel that they care about their guests, not just professionally, but on a human level. The reception team deserves special recognition they were absolutely amazing and outstanding! Always smiling, warm, patient, and ready to help with anything, no matter the request. Their positive energy alone made the stay feel special and effortless. Thank you for such a beautiful experience. I would definitely come back and can highly recommend this place to anyone who values kindness, service from the heart, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Everything was amazing!
- Clare (8/5): - Nice clean pool, simple and easy breakfast, friendly staff

- Andres (8/5): -
(8/5): Very good - Swimming pool
- Diem (5/5): Passable - The room looks quite clean, but that’s the only good thing about it. . The furniture is old and quite basic, with hardly any amenities. There’s no bottled water in the room, and the towels had stains, so I had to ask the staff to replace them.
. Between 11 AM and 1 PM, there were times when there was no water. According to the staff, this was because they were using it to clean the rooms, so there wasn’t enough for all guests. The bathroom drainage wasn’t great, causing water to stagnate in some areas.
. Although the room has a window, it faces the shared hallway and is even directly opposite another room’s door, so I had to keep it shut. This made the space feel a bit suffocating, and to make things worse, the air conditioner was quite noisy.
I booked this place because my flight was delayed, and my previous hotel was fully booked, so I had to find somewhere nearby to stay. The room rate is high considering the amenities, and it’s not even close to the city center.
- Emily (8/5): Very good -
- O'donnell (9/5): Superb -
- Allan (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (7/5): Great location. We had to change rooms a couple of times which was our fault as stayed a lot longer -
- Thomas (8/5): Pleasant place, helpful staff - Nice pool and discreet location It’s a little far from many good restaurants
- Lucas (7/5): Relaxing few days . The villa is on the outskirts of the city but we were able to walk into the city - Nice pool Noisy location
- Garold (4/5): inexpensive and worth that, but not really a pleasant stay. - The hosts were helpful and friendly. If you want an inexpensive room and security isn't an issue, this is OK. It is near the Monument of Victory - close enough to walk. The locks on the doors were ancient not strong. The deadbolt was offset and wouldn't close to lock the door. They don't allow you to eat in your room. The wifi was very undependable. They are making small upgrades in the rooms, but the room nearest the pool hasn't been upgraded. It's pretty awful. Not many low-cost restaurants nearby.
- Michelle (4/5): The stay was functional but marred by several shortcomings. - The room was clean. The king-size bed was roomy, and the clean white towels added a touch of freshness. The air conditioning ensured a pleasant stay. The mini refrigerator was a convenient addition for storing snacks and drinks. The pool area, complete with seating, provided a relaxing spot to unwind. The property's location, set away from the city center, offers less people traffic, but not necessarily a quieter stay and hadthe drawback of limited dining options nearby. Upon arrival, the untidy reception area was a bit off-putting, and the language barrier posed challenges as the staff had limited English proficiency. The room itself had an older television with cable, though most channels were in black and white, which felt outdated. The bathroom was small and had visible tile mold in the corners, which was concerning despite the overall cleanliness. A minor inconvenience was the lack of a kettle in the room, though hot water and tea cups were available at the reception.
- Jack (8/5): Very good - Very kind and helpful staff who when my girlfriend was poorly allowed us to have our room a little longer which I can’t thank them enough for. Pool area was kept very clean and tidy. Good location that you can walk to the main areas from Old fashioned rooms and hard bed but these aren’t major issues that should put you off staying
- Bruno (8/5): Very good -
- Beth (4/5): Please respect ALL guests staying at the guesthouse - The pool was great and the room was nice and big. Aircon was good. The noisiest place we’ve stayed in 4 months of travelling Asia. The first night we stayed here we barely got any sleep. Despite the guesthouse saying quiet hours were after 10pm, it sounded like a load of French people were having a party outside our room. After asking them to be quiet multiple times - neither staff or guests quietened down - and at 2am the staff decided to move some people into the room above us. Furniture was scraping and being moved, beds were being made and moved around, and children were running around. We were very upset and complained the next morning, but staff didn’t care. We think the staff knew the quests which is why they just let them get away with being very disruptive, as these guests remained noisy the whole stay. In the future please ask other guests to quieten down out of respect for others staying here.
- Keanan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Péter (6/5): Affordable accommodation, with pool - Swimming pool and spacious rooms for affordable price. WiFi is good and fast, and the staff is helpful, but the english speakig could have been better Far from the centre, approximately 25 minutes walk. There are no sunbeds at the swimming pool. My room was dark, and the cleanliness could be better. Overall the whole accommodation is a bit runned down, trash and unused stuffes in every corner. Strange smell and flies around the pool. Breakfast is just form 8:30 which is late, if you would like to catch the morning transfers
- Richard (5/5): It is passable for a night or two. It runs by a family and lots of noise in the evening when they are getting together. - Beds were ok No safety box. Shower is not good enough. No hot water jug. TV doesn’t work.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (7/5): Good -
- Olivia (7/5): Good -
- Michael (7/5): Nice hotel - Nice pool, peaceful hotel in a quiet location Bathroom is slightly outdated
- Zacharie (6/5): Thanks for the stay ! - Swimming pool
- Nomascus (5/5): will not book that hotel again did not sleep well because of noise - the swimming pool is clean Too much noise from other guests during the night (2 to 4 am) with coming and going of outside visitors
- Adrianus (2/5): Very poor -
- Stav (8/5): Very good -
- David (4/5): Staff were nice, the room was average. It's a bit late to add photos as I am home now. - I did not ask for a quiet room. There was no breakfast. It would have been nice if there were drinking glasses and maybe coffee making facilities . A decent bar of soap would have been better.
- Ouchayn (9/5): Superb - Beautiful villa, spent only 1 night. But it was comfortable. They offer laundry service. Had no time to enjoy the pool 😂😂
- Anne (7/5): Good - Nice place, quite central. Would stay there again. Stuff very helpful.
- Charlotte (7/5): Ok for short stay - It was fine, just a bit old and dated and.not cleaned to the standard of places I had been staying in. Fine for a short stay if you need to stick within a certain budget.
There is a pool, although I didn't use it. No major shade to this place, rather the accommodation in Vientiane in general. Out of 7 weeks travelling in Vietnam and Laos, this was the most I had paid for a room, yet the least value for money. When I was looking up accommodation in Vientiane, this was the best I could find within (although actually above) my budget.
Level of cleanliness - there were clean sheets of course, just the finishing touches like floors being fully cleaned. The age of the accomodation obviously makes it look a bit weathered.
Staff said they could get me a tuktuk for 100,000 kip to the airport, when I could just get an air conditioned taxi on Loca for 90,000 kip myself. I thought a tuk tuk might be cheaper.
- Dengpaohuai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (2/5): Very poor - Staff was friendly The room smelled extrmely bad! Wifi didn't work. Overall kind of dingy.
- Leigh (10/5): A great find in Vientiane - Very clean and comfortable hotel in Vientiane - clean room, bed, and linen. Great AC. Swimming pool. Free water refills. The hosts were friendly and delightful.
- Htut (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maya (5/5): Passable - The staff were very kind and easily organised transport for us. Don’t swim in the pool, or if you do make sure you don’t put your head under and you wash the rest of your body straight after. We got terrible chemical burns.
- Imran (5/5): Passable -
- Bee (4/5): - You get what you pay, don’t fall for the photo of the hotel and good review.
- Ysatis (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tony (6/5): Not a bad place. - Pool The ran out of water and wouldn’t sell me water when I seen they had water
- Edward (10/5): - The property is in a very central location in Vientiane and there is a very nice small but pleasant swimming pool right in the front entrance area, which is something I enjoyed very much. It’s my second time staying here and I will definitely come back because the price is right, and the people are very friendly and helpful.
- Suzi (10/5): - Beautiful pool, kind staff who spoke English well, clean, close to town. We loved it.
