You can swim in the sea when the tide is high, or relax on the grass and by the swimming pool. Rooms come with a sea view. You don’t smell the smoke, which is typical for the Philippines. The hotel offers cabs to the city and beaches, as well as trips for canyoning and the Oslob whale sharks. One of the best places we visited in Philippines.

The food is good and the service is lovely. There’s a pretty big difference though between the single rooms vs the villas, so spring for a villa if at all possible. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! The ocean front rooms could use some updating.

• Thomas (7/5): Kleine sehr ruhige Anlage, allerdings sehr abgelegen - Die 4 Unterkünfte direkt am Strand haben einen wunderbaren Ausblick zum Meer. Auch die Gartengestaltung mit den Pflanzen / Palmen und den Bambusunterständen ist sehr schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist mittelmäßig aber ausreichend. Die Zimmer werden nicht regelmäßig gereinigt, sondern nur auf Anforderung, was man wissen muss. Nicht alle Zimmer haben eine Klimaanlage. Lage: sehr abgelegen! Keine Spaziergänge am Strand (außer jene direkt vor der kleinen Anlage) oder an der useligen Zufahrtsstraße möglich bzw. empfehlenswert. Der Tidenunterschied ist beträchtlich. Schwimmen ist nur eingeschränkt (da Steine und abgestorbene Korallen) und nur bei Flut möglich. Zum abspannen und herunterkommen für wenige Tage ok. Man braucht für Ausflüge ein Auto oder Motorroller. Die Buchung ausgewählter Ausflüge über das Hotel und die kooperierende Agentur sind m.E. zu teuer und zu touristisch, besser selbst organisieren. Nur der Preis für den Flughafentransfer ist angemessen.

Clifford was very attentive to our needs and Kayla made us feel very welcomed. Far from the centre, sheets aren’t that good quality, gecko inside the room (Clifford did an amazing job in catching it though)

• Steven (10/5): It was a great stay , when I first got there it wasn’t what I expected but I’m the end of it all it was everything I nee - The property was cozy , the view is great , your only feet away from the beach which is great It was a lot smaller than I expected based off of the pictures but that’s not anyone’s fault .
• Pauline (8/5): Schönes Hotel mit tollem Ausblick, aber weit weg - Das Hotel liegt wirklich malerisch am Meer und hat sehr viel Ruhe und Frieden. Unser Zimmer (4-Bett-Zimmer) war sehr groß und die Betten waren gemütlich. Nachts hört man das Meer rauschen, was wunderschön ist und man findet immer ein Plätzchen draußen im Schatten. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und man kann auch Ausflüge, sowie Transfers zum Beispiel zum Flughafen und in die Nachbarorte direkt im Hotel buchen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen Leider ist man sehr weit ab vom Schuss. Zur Hauptstraße ist es über 1km über sehr schlechte Straßen, man kommt also eigentlich nur mit dem Hoteltransfer in andere Ortschaften, Restaurants und Geschäften. Und dann so Kleinigkeiten, die ich bei einem schicken Hotel eigentlich erwarte, wie Kaffee oder Tee auf dem Zimmer (es gibt heißes und kaltes Wasser kostenlos) oder dass manche Fenster nicht richtig schließen.

Le personnel très agréable. La chambre était très spacieuse. Possibilité de massages dans les chambres. Restauration sur place. Possibilités de visites à proximité. Il faut penser à réserver les repas à l'avance car l'établissement est un peu isolé.

If you don’t eat there it’s very far from the city, so take it under consideration. We didn’t care cause we ate there and the food was great.
• Lev (1/5): I can't recommend it! - This place is for those who like to be far from the main attractions and crowds. It has large green territory and own sea coast. The staff cook themselves and serve lunches and dinners. The choice isn't great but not bad and the food itself are also rather good. That's all. As for me the location is not good. You need to take taxi and waste an hour to get to Moalboal and back every time you want to go to watch sardines or to swim with sharks in Oslob or just have a dinner in the restaurant. Around the resort there are no any places to eat or to buy something. There is no sea beach. There is no sea for swimming or snorkeling. Look at the photo and you'll understand why. A small pool was occupied by kids and frankly speaking it's only suitable for kids. WiFi in the resort is almost absent. Don't hope to be online there. Also the Smart mobile network signal is extremely weak but nevertheless it's better than the local WiFi. When we arrived there hasn't been an electricity for several hours. Don't book the King Fan Room! First of all, opposite the description on the Booking the room itself is located on the first floor (not the ground one!) and you'll need to bring your luggage upstairs yourself. The staff girls won't help you. Then there are windows all around the walls and that windows are permanently open! You can't close it. It looks like you live on the street so the loud sea noise won't let you sleep all the night. By the same reason the room doesn't have an air conditioning. There are two fans: the king one on the ceiling and the normal one on the floor. But they are absolutely useless as they can't get fresh air under the canopy around the bed. So you have a great choice: to sleep inside the canopy with hot and stale air or outside the canopy with a lot of mosquitoes. Add the noise from outside the room and you'll get unforgettable nights there! The room and the furniture are very outdated. They needs renovation and cleaning. Also the room looks dirty. The white curtains and the canopy have a lot of old yellow stains. I don't know how the other rooms are but this one is absolutely terrible! The breakfast was really bad. Small choice and low quality of the food.

Chambre très bien avec la piscine rien à redire. Le vrai moins de l’établissement est la partie restauration. Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas digne de cette catégorie d’établissement c’est dommage. Également les massages, 2 masseuses sont venues 1 heure de massage. Elles ont fait que rigoler ensemble et discuté pendant le massage. Partis faire un coup de téléphone. Aucune implication dans le massage, vraiment déçu.

Ogni cosa era curata nei dettagli, il personale professionale, cortese, amabilissimo. Bryan, il manager, una persona squisita, attento ad ogni nostra necessita ed un'ottima compagnia per chiacchierare! Ci e stato offerto un upgrade, a causa del tifone passato nelle settimane precedenti, e abbiamo avuto la possibilita di alloggiare nella villa con piscina privata, un'incanto! Spaziosissima, letto enorme e super confortevole. Abbiamo provato il servizio massaggi, e devo dire che le ragazze erano preparatissime e molto brave. Abbiamo mangiato sempre in struttura, tutto eccellente! Questo posto ci e davvero rimasto nel cuore, e ci sono rimasti anche i compagni a 4 zampe, soprattutto Pancake, che ci ha tenuto compagnia tutto il tempo! Spero di cuore di tornare presto! Nulla

• Michaela (9/5): Sehr ruhige, gepflegte Unterkunft mit hilfsbereitem Personal - Die Unterkunft war ein kleines Paradies außerhalb von Moalboal. Eine sehr ruhige Lage. Nach Moalboal ist es mit dem Motorbike eine halbe Stunde. Man kann dem Hotel einfach Bescheid geben, dann organisieren sie dir ein Motorrad, was sehr geschickt ist, wenn man Mobil sein will. Ausflüge werden im Hotel direkt angeboten und man kann sie dort buchen. Wir haben die Walhaie in Oslob besichtigt, sehr empfehlenswert. Abholung und Transport, hat alles super geklappt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, komfortabel und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Was ich super fand, ist, dass man auf den Inseln im Zimmer immer einen Wasserspender mit gefiltertem Wasser vorfindet, wo man seine Flaschen auffüllen kann. Das finde ich echt super, um weniger Müll und Plastik zu produzieren. Wir haben am Flughafen eine Wasserflasche gekauft und diese immer aufgefüllt. So haben wir den ganzen Urlaub, keine Plastikflaschen kaufen müssen. PS: wenn du Katzen liebst, bitte bring Katzenfutter mit. Es gibt eine orange süße Katze, die von den Gästen Pancake genannt wird. Sie ist, wie die meisten Katzen und Hunde auf den Philippinen, immer auf der Suche nach Futter und Streicheleinheiten.

• Fe (10/5): Hidden paradise, great value for the money and away from the hustle and bustle. - Nice layout,nice location, nice staff. It’s quiet and a bit hard to access (we had a mini van rented due to family affairs) but overall a great experience and a beautiful place to stay. As it is tucked away in a fishing village where employees are from the area, staying in this resort also feels like a way of supporting local community. Only thing to mention is that there is sometimes not warm/ hot water in the shower. But does it matter when it is 32 Degrees Celcius outside? Don’t think so…:)

• Magda (10/5): FANTASTYCZNY!!! - Absolutny Raj na końcu Świata. Najmilsi, uśmiechnięć i bardzo pomocni ludzie. Ciszą i spokój taką, że zapominasz że jesteś w hotelu. Totalnie fenomenalny!!! Trochę słabe śniadania- dość ciężkostrawne i mały wybór, trochę za mało lokalnie ale to nic w porównaniu do całokształtu. Bardzo polecam masażystkę i nianię do opieki dla dzieci- bez znajomości języka dzieci dogadywały się z tak kontaktową i sympatyczną osobą bez najmniejszych problemów!!!

• Marco (10/5): Great place to stay and relieve - Overall facilities are very stylish and well designed, but a little aged although good. The staff was exceptional friendly, polite and professional. They fulfilled all wishes instantly. It is not a dislike, but you have to know it is about 30 min driving from Maolbaol. But there is an affordable and individual transfer service available. We enjoyed the quiet and lovely place!

The food has limited selection, the windows does have gaps in between for the insects to come in, the internet is too weak in the room to think there is no television , the toilet can’t open the windows (no exhaust), limited sun beds and only one cabana to be used by 10 guest. The beach front is not being cleaned by the property attendant and I was the one cleaning it for 3 times as I usually woke up quite early in the morning. I saw the dogs from the neighbors and also the resident dogs using the beachfront as their toilet doing number 1 and 2 . I was there as the dogs pooping, I have to remove it physically. It seems that the property attendants are not checking the beachfront. The transport is way too expensive.

The bungalows are excellent – spacious, well-maintained, and come with a private pool, summer kitchen, and direct access to the ocean. The view is absolutely stunning, and you can go snorkeling right off the shore, where you’ll find vibrant coral reefs and countless tropical fish. The location is peacefully remote, far from the busy city life, making it a perfect place for those seeking privacy, tranquility, and rest. You can either cook for yourself in the outdoor kitchen or order delicious meals from the staff for an extra fee. They also offer a variety of excursions and activities, which can be arranged on request. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive – always ready to assist with anything you need. Overall, I would absolutely return. This place is a hidden gem for a peaceful tropical getaway. The only small downside was the massage service – it felt more like a basic massage rather than a professional therapeutic one. So I’d recommend adjusting expectations to avoid disappointment.

• Richard (9/5): Fantastic staff and lovely location. - The staff were amazing throughout. The location was very good. Quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this place to anyone. I think each room could have a mosquito light in as I was bitten to death. The menu could do with changing every so often and the coffee was bad.
• Karim (10/5): Great quiet hotel with a nice restaurant and massage - We absolutely loved the hotel and amazing staff that helped us to organize a transfer from/to the airport, arranged a masseuse and made us a great dinner. Just contact them in advance and everything will be ready :) we also had a very early check-out and asked for a snack for take away which was provided with great care. My wife had her birthday while staying at the hotel and the staff made us a cake which was very cute and made her day feel very special. Many thanks and hope to come back one day! Everything was great!

• Pierre-olivier (9/5): Intimate hotel on the beach - Property on the front of a small, secluded beach just for ourselves Very cute sunbeds to relax and enjoy the view notably at sunset Very few rooms so it was very peaceful and intimate Very friendly staff A bit isolated from the toutisty stuff, so not ideal to visit all the toutisty stuff (need to book transfers) Room was big and well decorated but you could feel it was getting a bit old

• Delle (10/5): A peaceful paradise - I had such a wonderful experience celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday here, and I want to give a special thank you to Fran and Chilli for going above and beyond to make the evening so memorable. They prepared a beautiful table for us, and their attention to detail truly made the celebration feel extra special. A big thank you as well for the delicious birthday cake they kindly offered — it was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture that we both really appreciated. I’d also like to give a quick shoutout to Brian, the manager, and to the rest of the team — thank you all for your warm hospitality and for making the night so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!
• Anne (8/5): Very nice villas - good for family time. Unfortunately extremely remote. - The villa is very nice and comfortable. We loved spending family time on the terrace facing the sea. Staff is very nice. The villas are very remote. There is nowhere to go other than stay in the compound. The beach is nothing special and the pool is quite small.

Very clean and staff very kind and helpful There is no beach because it’s a protected reef and you can’t not swim. Breakfast poor. Restaurant with a limited menu and you have to order the food several hours in advance
