- Val (10/5): A lovely short break in Jedburgh - The location for everything in Jedburgh which has so many interesting places nearby. The local independent shops on the High Street are well worth supporting.
The owners of Meadhon house BnB are super, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast choice is excellent, well cooked and presented.
Room 5 was lovely, up 2 flights of stairs with views over the beautiful garden below, and beyond. Nothing
- Carson (10/5): Room - Amanda and Rob are super welcoming hosts - top notch breakfast- we cannot rate this all more highly Everything was super

- Craig (10/5): Great comfy accommodation accompanied by warm staff/owners welcoming you to the property. - It was nice to be warmly greeted and was pleased with the room, the cleanliness and overall comfort of the room. The only thing I could see improved is the shower, however, it is an old building and its why I didnt score it down. If possible it would be nice to have a monsoon shower head but its totally fine as it is.
- Lee (10/5): - Perfect location, the lovely owners Rob and Amanda made us very welcome and were very attentive 10/10. Nothing at all.
- Claire (10/5): -

- Alfred (10/5): Erg fijn. - De persoonlijke, hartelijke ontvangst.
Prima bed.
Prima ontbijt.
De accomodatie ligt vlakbij het centrum met enkele eetgelegenheden.
De plek is een goede uitvalsbasis voor tochten in de omgeving.

- Julie (10/5): If we're back in the area, we'll book with you again! - Breakfast was lovely - the real Stornoway black pudding was magnificent! All good!
- Robert (8/5): Jedburgh is an attractive small town with an outstanding 12th C abbey and good eating. - Fresh seasonal fruit followed by a cooked breakfast of personal choice on a warm plate. The guest house has no private parking, however it is located on a residential street in a conservation area which is quiet over-night. There was little problem is parking on-street.
- Jennifer (8/5): -
- Rita (10/5): Exceptional -

The B&B is immaculate, spacious and nice touches in the room. Nothing, no complaints

Excellent breakfast Cant find any issue with this accomadation and hower stay
- Karen (10/5): An ideal base for visiting a beautiful area .. would recommend. - Lovely guest house in great location for visiting the Scottish Borders. Easy on street parking. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. The hosts were very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable Nothing
- Sandra (10/5): Great locations, super clean place, friendly hosts. - The location is perfect. If you like walking there are some great routes that start and end in the town. Some great local bars and restaurants.

- Julie (9/5): Lovely B&B in a great location. - Great location. Very clean and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast. Friendly owners. Would have been nice to be able to turn the heat on in the bathroom.
- Adrian (10/5): Weather cleared when it was meant to making it a glorious trip - Amanda and Rob made this stay even better than it was. They were attentive to our needs but never overbearing. They gave ideas of where to go for dinner one night without recommending one place over another. I much prefer that as its then my decision as to where to go and can give them feedback that they can then use Having to leave, wish I'd been able to stay in Jedburgh longer
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Keiran (10/5): 2 night stay for Skerryvore - Everything was excellent. The home and grounds are lovely. We had a nice large room with a view of the big garden. We really couldn't speak any higher of Amanda and Rob- a real example of what it is to be a host, so welcoming and attentive. Would definitely stay again! N/A
- Sheila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely, warm and clean with a big warm welcome - We both felt welcome from beginning to end, it's like coming to stay with family. Such a beautiful little spot to stay, tastefully and stylishly designed and decorated, incredibly clean and a lovely little addition of a wee bunny to admire in the garden. No dislikes
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annabelle (9/5): Meadhon was a lovely place to stay, I felt very welcome - Breakfast was very good Can't think of anthing
- Bill (9/5): Superb - Location near the centre of town was great with easy street parking outside. Room was well-furnished and very comfortable. Perhaps a matter of personal preference but, like many places, the room was overly warm and the heating on full when I arrived. But then that's nothing that opening a window and turning off the heating can't fix.
- Linda (10/5): Highly recommend this guest house, great location. - Amanda and Robe are delightful hosts, very caring, friendly and welcoming. Could’t do enough for me. Bed very comfortable and all facilities spotless. Beautifully cooked breakfast. Nothing
- Elaine (10/5): Home from Home. - The property was clean, modern furniture and amazing bedding. It was warm throughout but with our own bedroom heat control. Breakfasts were amazing and the hosts such lovely and welcoming people. Perfect location for walking into Jedburgh. Nothing to dislike.
- Pamela (9/5): Excellent comfortable clean stay - Very clean, well appointed bedrooms and en-suites . Lovely fresh high quality linen and towels. Excellent breakfast in a very tastefully decorated dining room. Ironing and hair drying facilities provided. Very friendly hosts. Street parking very easy outside building
- Craig (10/5): Lovely place, lovely people - This is a lovely comfortable property in a greatLocation with plenty of free roadside parking. Couldn't be made
More welcome . Lovely breakfast too No dislikes
- David (10/5): Excellent - Owners made my stay so welcoming Nothing
- Karen (9/5): Well worth staying if you are exploring the beautiful town of Jedburgh and the wider Borders - A great place to stay, very central. Really clean, excellent breakfast and friendly hosts. Nothing
- Vegan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Stacey (7/5): Good -
- Richard (10/5): A great break on a long journey - This is a lovely guest house close to the centre of Jedburgh.
I received a very warm welcome from Rob and Amanda, the hosts, and was well looked after throughout my stay.
My room was very comfortable and extremely well presented and kept.
There was a good view of Jedburgh Abbey and the surrounding countryside.
It was only a short walk to the middle of Jedburgh and its attractions, including the abbey and the castle.
Breakfast at Meadhon was excellent. Not applicable. All was good!
- Colin (10/5): What you need in a perfect stay away from home - Amazing hosts, amazing B&B.
- Martyn (10/5): Modern and stylish guest house. - Lovely stay at Meadhon House as part of a Borders exploration trip. Easy walking distance to Jedburgh Abbey and town centre. The room was beautifully furnished and very well appointed. Breakfast was very tasty with good options. Lovely warm welcome from Amanda and Rob - turns out it is a very small world indeed! We shall return if ever back in the area.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Middleton (9/5): A lovely Inn after a long day hiking - We stayed here during our St Cuthberts walking trip and it represents excellent value for money.
The BnB is well located, with friendly attentive hosts. Room was clean, comfortable and done to a good standard. All basic amenities are available, and the cleanliness is excellent.
The beds were also very comfortable with good linen.
The breakfast was also very good: great service and smashing black pudding.
Altogether, a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone doing the walk or passing through Jedburgh. The only draw back is that they don’t allow take away food in the room. Normally this would be totally fine, but due to it being off season there was nowhere to get food other than takeaways, so I would recommend they review this during low season.
- Blaine (10/5): Sweetest little guesthouse - Amanda and Rob were wonderful hosts. It was very obvious they enjoy and take great pride in providing outstanding service and a fantastic accommodation!
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (10/5): A classy stop in historic Jedburgh - A recently refurbished guest house in an historic building on the main street of the attractive small town of Jedburgh. Tastefully decorated, very clean cosy rooms, excellent breakfast, charming hosts. It's a short walk to the must see Jedburgh Abbey just down the hill. Also don't miss Mary Queen of Scots House museum a little further on off the main street, a fascinating story of her life and times (free admission). Although the property doesn't have it's own car park we didn't have any problem parking on the road outside. We ate at nice independent restaurant Bella Sicily on the main square, highly recommend excellent wood fired pizza there (worth booking as popular with locals). It was all great!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Had an excellent night's sleep here before the Jedburgh Ultra. The bedding was high-thread Egyptian cotton and felt very smooth and cool and luxurious. The mattress was super-comfy too. The owners Amanda and Rob were really welcoming when I arrived. It was just a few minutes walk from the bus stop. There were codes for the front door, porch door and rooms, so it felt secure. An early start for me, so I didn't have time for breakfast, but looked like lots of good options available for that too. Would definitely highly recommend to anyone visiting Jedburgh!
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): Spectacular spot for a stop in the Borders - can't beat location, facilities, or hosts - The location is stellar - walking distance to everything you want/need in Jedburgh. The house is one of the oldest in the area, tastefully updated to top quality standards. The locals call it the "sticking out house" because it is wider than the other houses along the street - gives it character and makes it easier to find. Breakfasts were excellent and the hosts were both super friendly and helpful. Jedburgh is also a great location for day trips to other sites within the Borders area. There wasn't anything to not like - facilities, hosts, location, breakfasts were all excellent. Even the on-street parking was easy to find.
- Tracy (10/5): Very friendly and helpful hosts- first class breakfast! - Lovely old building with super decor and rooms It didn’t spoil our stay at all but a more powerful shower would have been fab
- Danielle (10/5): Comfortable and easy - Everything was neat, clean and user friendly. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and so close to all attractions and restaurants. Parking easy and free. Everything was fabulous. Would highly recommend. Nothing
- Rita (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, friendly and caring hosts, neat room, perfect location, breakfast options on point 😊 -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Monica (10/5): You can really see and feel that Rob and Amanda take pride in their work ❤️ - Everything was spotless, breakfast was amazing and I’ve felt very welcome. There’s nothing wrong; everything was perfect.

- Naomi (10/5): Didn't want to leave! - Our stay at Meadhon Guest House was nothing short of fabulous. Amanda and Rob were warm and welcoming hosts who made our trip extra special. We found our room to be elegantly appointed, luxurious and, most importantly, absolutely spotless. We both looked forward to the fresh, delicious and generous breakfast each morning prior to our days out exploring Scotland. We would stay there again without hesitation. Our stay was too short.

Modern interior in a vintage building, well-appointed and impeccably clean.

- Walker (10/5): Excellent Hotel in a beautiful small Town - I booked this for my wife, she loved it, especially the little extras,a chair in the bedroom, hot chocolate, small things that make a difference.
She thought the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent and people were very friendly Nothing really.
Just had a bit of a puff walking up the hill to the Hotel.
- Linda (10/5): - In the centre of Jedburgh. Amanda and Rob were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
- Gwenda (10/5): recommend staying there. Amanda and Rob were excellent hosts - It was clean , good location, comfortable, excellent hosts all good
- Lyn (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was first class. The host Amanda and Rob absolutely wonderful caring host. The room was extremely good from decoration to comfortable bed. And wonderful breakfast. Nothing at all
- Matt (9/5): Fantastic B&B with great hosts. - Amanda and Rob greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcomed straight away. The room had everything you would need. Tea/coffee making facilities with a chocolate / biscuits. There was also two bottles of water on arrival and we loved the idea of the little snack bar on the landing with an honesty box for payment.
The front door and rooms are accessed with a pin code, so there was no need to worry about keys.
The bed was really comfy and there was plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom.
Breakfast is pre selected the night before and there was a good selection.
Amanda was a great host in the morning and we used her local knowledge to give us some great advice on where to visit.
The B&B is located in a great location at the top of the High Street and in walking distance of all the attractions that Jedburgh has to offer. My only negative was purely a personal one due to my size. At 6ft 3" and 110Kg, I found the shower cubicle to be a bit cramped, but I can't change how big I am unfortunately. This didn't effect my stay in any way though, I just had to watch my head and elbows!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The couple who run this b&b are very welcoming and friendly. The room was loverly. The breakfast was excellent Nothing was wrong with our stay
- Fergus (10/5): Everything a B&B should be - Close to the centre of Jedburgh, friendly and welcoming hosts, good breakfast, and most importantly, a very comfortable bed. There's not much more you can ask for in a B&B
- Jenni (10/5): Perfect location, comfortable clean room and exceptional service! Thank you xx - Our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, breakfast was beautiful everyday and the owners service was exceptional, they were very welcoming and made us feel so at home, we didn’t want to leave ❤️ Nothing it made our stay in Jedburgh very special ❤️
- Isobel (9/5): I really enjoyed my stay at the Meadhon guesthouse as the hosts were just perfect and served all the needs of the variou - I like the location and the age of the property that had been beautifully restored. The property has real character. It was real space and attention to detail The property is on a steep hill and there is some difficulty sometimes about parking.
