• SALVATORE (3/5): NO RECOMENDABLE , NO TOMÉ FOTOS DEL LUGAR PARA QUÉ ? - La habitación tiene muy bién tamaño pero de muy mal diseño. El baño también muy buén tamaño. Cuando se pasa la puerta exterior la desilusión es tremenda. El llamar a ese lugar Palacio, el entrar por un pasillo como mínimo deprimente, subir con un ascensor también deprimente después de habernos ilusionado con las fotos en booking ?????? Haré todo lo posible por no recomendarlo. La recepción muy bonita, Veronique muy amable y el chico que nos despidió al salir también.
• Jade (7/5): Aging beauty. - The suite definitely had a palazzo atmosphere. It was quiet, and the balcony was large. I enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and transportation, the frescos on the ceiling, and the clean, working bathroom. I really appreciated the mini fridge and the coffee was better than I expected. Bed linens were clean and crisp. It would have been helpful to have some time to go over the contract at the start, and to have a quick guide in the suite with emergency exits, check out times etc. The wires of the coffee maker were exposed and many of the lights flickered. Some outlets didn't work. One mosquito screen on the windows was broken. Things were a little worn at the edges.

• Concetta (3/5): - The location was fine. First of all, I think the owner had a lot of balls asking me for cash instead of taking my credit card for the tax. This is against the law as far as I know in Italy so it turned me off right away I would never recommend this place second it had bugs flying around third we got Three sleeves of an instant coffee to last us four days and nights five it was like trying to get into a prison there was so many locks and doors and the keys really didn’t work that well so that was kind of frustrating. It was better before we got there, but we are very disappointed, especially in the person that charged me cash and my daughter-in-law told her no, so she told her it would be one euro then to use your credit card Less than 12 hours later I sent a message asking for my euros back and she told me they were already in the bank. I would not recommend this place to anyone if you want to continue to advertise for them. Well, I’ve stayed at a lot of places and this was by far worse.

• Ji (9/5): 建筑很有历史感 周边非常便利 - 酒店位置非常好，离火车站步行5分钟，步行至城内主要景点都不远。酒店大门正对面就是非常红的古老皇家香水店，楼下就是饭点大摆长龙的网红餐厅，步行三分钟就有家乐福超市。酒店建筑很古老 大木门 电梯非常小 非常非常慢 不过可能因为太过陈旧吧，入住办理在4楼 提前看酒店给的讯息如何联系。门锁很多，工作人员会告知如何使用，走廊处有饮水机可以自己接水。房间内包括烧水壶设备 洗漱浴巾基本齐全干净，还按人头配送了些面包饼干茶袋咖啡。套房房顶有历史壁画，打开门还有个小院子。 10月份了气温20来度 但是还是有不少蚊虫。

• corinatiganas (4/5): Really bad value for money. - The location is not close to center and room seemed clean. The common areas are very very outdated. The pics look romantic, but the place isnt. Our room only had a small window towards an”operational” (elevator shaft) inner yard. We decided to cancel the entire booking despite loosing the money for one night. If the hotel was half of the price (so people would have lower expectations) maybe some people might appreciate it

• dario (9/5): la mejor ubicación en Florencia - La ubicación del hotel es excepcional. muy cerca de la estación de tren. y a cinco minutos caminando de todos los sitios interesantes de Florencia. tiene parada al lado el tranvía que te lleva directo al Aeropuerto. La chica que estaba en recepción ( no se el nombre, pero era Argentina), fue super amable incluso nos ayudó a sacar unas entradas que por la aplicación del móvil no se podía y se ofreció a hacerlo desde el ordenador de la recepción. tuvimos un problema y solicitamos quedarnos una noche mas y aun estando en temporada alta, nos hicieron un hueco y nos dieron otra habitación para pasar la ultima noche. Las habitaciones son muy amplias. lo unico que nos resultó un poco agobiante, es el ascensor que es extremadamente pequeño y lento.

• Isabel (10/5): Estancia fabulosa - La habitación es espaciosa, cama grande muy cómoda, el baño amplio y con todo lo necesario en una ubicación excelente, a 5 minutos de la Estación de tren de Santa María Novella y tranvía T2 que te lleva al aeropuerto en 20 minutos. Es de agradecer la botella de agua para poder rellenar en una fuente de agua fría, sobretodo si vas en época de calor. Por poner un pero, la presión de la ducha era floja pero no fue un inconveniente y eché de menos un espejo en la habitación

The staff is available for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. This can be restrictive. We were eagerly awaiting the snacks and wine that were placed in everyone's room, but they weren't there :(

• Molly (4/5): Huge disappointment. - Serena, at the reception, was thoughtful, kind, helpful. Check in and out was easy. It was a fire trap. So many doors with keys to go through just to get to our room and to make our way out of the building. One key was particularly difficult to figure out (both entering and exiting) and the lighting was poor in that hallway and others. Others have noted how the elevator is slow. This is true and that would be ok — but it’s not ok if guests on other floors also need to use it around the same time. We waited 15 minutes on one occasion in sweltering heat. Because of an injury, we were not able to walk up the many stairs. Appreciate having a few treats in the morning and electric kettle. When our room was “made up” the second morning, no additional instant coffee or treats were provided. No toilet paper provided on the second day either. We were in Florence in extremely hot weather, so it’s no wonder the air conditioning in our room was inadequate. We human beings have destroyed our planet— climate change and so forth. However, the reception on the 3rd floor had excellent air conditioning. Would be nice to provide that to guests for a more comfortable stay.

The rooms inside the old bldg were nice and updated. Bathroom was large , shower water pressure was great. The hotel has tea and biscuits and a bottle of wine as well as a refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again anytime I visit Florence.

• Darrell (9/5): Wonderful apartment with most beautiful ceiling motifs & terrific location. Highly recommend! - What a unique apartment. It has a stand-alone bedroom that you walk into from the entrance with a queen-sized bed, and it has a very large adjacent sitting room (separated by glass doors from the bedroom) with two queen-sized sofas that pull out into beds. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. There was also a nice outdoor deck off the living space with table & chairs to enjoy a late-night glass of wine or early morning coffee. The most unique part of the place was the ceilings - they are painted with beautiful motifs! Luciano & his wife were wonderful & very helpful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. I highly recommend. Nothing .. it was excellent.

Luciano greeted us personally, assisted with our heavy luggage, showed us how to navigate the entrances (there are a few doors), gave us a map with attractions pointed out, offered to make us dinner reservations and gave us some great restaurant suggestions - wow he was fantastic! The bathroom was lovely, the room was spacious and big, and can’t go wrong with complimentary bottle of wine. Special mention to the water dispenser in the hallway, this may not seem that big but having clean fresh water available all the time really was fantastic. No issues.

• Paul (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Luciano and Susan were terrific hosts. - We stayed in the beautiful Carolina suite with plenty of room and a balcony. Frescoes on the ceiling contributed to the charm of this 15th century building. Our hosts were Luciano and Susan and they were wonderful. The location is walking distance to the train and bus station as well as many of the wonderful museums. Coffee and pastries are provided in the room each morning. It can be a little confusing to locate the property and to get in. Having said that, Luciano met us down stairs at the front door and escorted us in and provided excellent instructions on how to manage the 3 doors to unlock to get to our room as well as how to operate the lift. The pillows and bedding was vey comfortable.

This apartment in a historic building was by far our favorite place in our 2 week travel in Italy. Great host, who helped us with directions and recommendations. Convenient location, there is a popular restaurant next door (there was a looong line of people outside waiting to be seated). There is also a large terrace that we really enjoyed.

• Raphael (10/5): Parfait séjour au Palazzo Riblet - Nous n’avons séjourné qu’une nuit à Florence, mais nous ne regrettons pas le choix du Palazzo Riblet. L’emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de la gare (où arrive aussi le tram qui mène vers de parking extérieurs à la ville), il est aussi tout proche à pieds des lieux historiques incontournables de Florence. L’accueil de Luciano a été très agréable. Il nous a aussi donné de nombreux conseils, tant pour les visites que pour des suggestions de restaurants dans le quartier. Enfin la chambre était très grande et confortable et la salle de bain moderne et pratique. Bref, tout était parfait !

He's generous too for the free wine and water dispenser(outside rooms), snacks (bread, coffee &tea). The place is clean, good wifi and of course AC (it's a must for the summer heat). Very good location- near Santa Maria Novella Station, a lot of places to eat around. What I love the most is the oldest pharmacy in the world just in front of the building- Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. None

Broken furniture at the property justified as people who stayed prior to us broke it. Balcony unusable as the garden does not have good views - lots of broken tiles, building work residuals left on the ground floor.

The location is central to everything you would want to do in Florence. The entry is way to dismal and dark. Needs to be lightened up. Getting into the room is a bit of a maze, but it results in a more secure setting. this is a great place for budget minded stay in Florence.

Beds, even the two sofa beds, are super comfortable. Showers are great. Luciano is a dream of a hotelier. Location can't be beat.
• MINGYEONG (10/5): - 친절한 주인내외 덕분에 잘 묵었습니다. 이전 숙소를 1박이 부족하게 예약하게 되어 선택하게 되었습니다. 이전 숙소의 체크 아웃 시간이 11시인줄 알고 11시 30분쯤 체크인하겠다고 말씀드렸었는데 10시까지 체크아웃이라서 10시 30분쯤 체크인하게 되었습니다. 1시간이나 일찍온 저희 가족을 당황하셨음에도 불구하고 따뜻하게 맞아주셨습니다. 숙소에 짐만 맡겨놓고 나가려고 했는데 얼리 체크인을 해주셨습니다. 청소도 정말 깨끗하게 해주셔서 좋았습니다. 체크인은 같은 건물 3층에서 하시면 되고 피렌체를 지도로 친절하게 설명해주셔서 좋았습니다. 숙소는 1층이었고 엘리베이터가 있어서 이용하기 편리했습니다. 레지덴차라고 해서 부엌도 있는 줄 알았지만 부엌은 없는 숙소였습니다. 5명이 6인실에 묵었는데 불편함 없이 잘 지냈습니다. 방 안에는 화장실 겸 욕실이 하나 있고, 복도에 화장실이 하나 더 있어서 편했습니다. 정수기와 냉장고가 있어서 편했고 제공해주신 빵도 정말 맛있게 먹었습니다. 무엇보다 가격이 합리적이어서 좋았습니다. 산타마리아노벨라 본점이 바로 숙소 앞이라 구경하기 용이했고 추천해주신 식당들도 주변에 있어서 이용하기 편했습니다. 숙소 찾으시는 분들은 산타마리아노벨라 본점 찍고 맞은편 건물로 오시면 됩니다. 주인아저씨께서 영어를 매우 잘 하십니다. 체크아웃 이후 짐은 같은 층 창고방에 맡아주셨습니다. 대부분의 식사를 밖에서 해결하실 분들이라면 이 숙소를 강력 추천합니다. / 예정보다 일찍 온 손님들 때문에 당황하셨을 아저씨께 죄송합니다. 따뜻하게 맞아주셔서 감사합니다. 친절하게 대해주신 덕분에 피렌체에서 좋은 기억 남기고 왔습니다. 피렌체에 다시 가면 다시 묵고 싶어요! 늘 건강하세요😊

• Karolina (9/5): Superb - it was an absolutely unique experience to sleep under frescos! Clean, modern touch in the middle of histore. Shared with two friends and we had plenty of space. The check-in procedures could be more clear, but the friendliness of the staff of this family owned place outweighed it all.
• Mark (9/5): Great location and place - Great location - near station and close to shops and restaurants and for site seeing. Big clean room comfy bed. Very helpful host - especially for restaurant suggestions. Nice room additions - toiletries, bottle of chianti, breakfast items. Not much. Unclear what/where the shared lounge is? Is this the settees in the hall area? A lot of locked doors (4!) to get through to get to bedroom. Not that while pictures show a bath foremost the room may have a shower.
