The bed mattress was solid as a rock and the bed sheets were not clean. It was a total disappointment for me. I booked for a week I could not stay for one hour. I had to leave this place....

Angela (2/5): Global Luxury Suites Is the Worst - I tried many times to contact someone at Global Resorts and spoke to Hotels.com a number of times. I tried the day before checkin and no one was at the office then the next day was presidents day and a sign was on the door stating no one was in. I read I needed 24 hours to register my car for a space which I was unable to. Not one person from Global Luxury Suites called me to verify even after repeated requests by email.

Daniel (10/5): Comfortable Apartment in the Marina - The apartment was as advertised: a nice sized, well appointed one-bedroom apartment, queen- bed, and reasonably quiet. Nicely located in the Marina, near restaurants and shops on Washington Blvd. As has been noted by others, the "check-in" is a little complicated (you're essentially on your own finding the lock-box, finding the parking, finding the apt), and it took a few minutes to figure it out (to company: get a better map! that shows the area a little better), but it wasn't too hard. I would certainly stay again.
Angelo (6/5): - Property is really good especially if you have a baby with you. The only complaint we had, the unit was not ready when we came in. There is a rolled rug about 5 ft long beside the refrigerator and close to the door. We had to move it. Kitchen floor was dirty and one of the bathroom had something in the toilet. Until was probably being cleaned and it was not finished when we arrived. We had an issue with the parking space. 2 spots were assigned to us. We received a note from the other parking space saying that it was their spot. There might be a lot of miscommunication in between but otherwise the stay is comfortable and safe.

We had to wait 20 minutes for the lady to bring the key. That's the only thing we were disappointed. Everything else was very good. The room was very clean and spacious. Although thorough instructions were given for check in, it was still a task to figure things out the first time, but simple after that. Loved having a washer/dryer, and the unit was extremely spacious and clean. The only complaints I have are that the tub didn’t drain well, and there was a thick and loud plastic cover on the sleeper sofa mattress which made it not conducive to sleep. Overall good experience and would stay again for long term situation.

Marny (10/5): I would definitely return to stay here - Took bit of time to find lockbox with key. Rang office and lady answering was very helpful in assisting us to locate key. Would be great to have a safe in the room as per most accomodations for valuables whilst travelling. Good location.

Steve G. (2/5): Avoid this host and property! - Check in was a nightmare. No support, confusing and user unfriendly. Worst I’ve ever experienced. No proper darkening window treatments in bedroom sun up at 6a. Balcony had no chairs - stripped bare. Sleeper sofa completely unusable and would barely fit a child- other person had to sleep on the floor. Pillows cheap hard foam - hurt my neck had to travel to go buy a decent one! No way for a visitor to get in - they required me to leave the unit and spend 10 minutes to go out to manually let a visitor in. I was on a work trip and had work meetings and this entry problem made meetings or guests impossible! And on and on. A fraudulently advertised property that should be de-listed and hosts banned permanently from your site!

Cons: difficult to check-in, felt like a scavenger hunt trying to find the key box etc. Detailed instructions were helpful but it still ended up being a bit challenging. Would have been a nightmare at night, we arrived during the day so it wasn't too bad. Housekeeping didn't vacuum the floors so room looked so so. Some broken equipment on patios. Pool needed to be cleaned better.

Verified traveler (6/5): Apartment, Not Hotel - The apartment complex is beautiful, but beware that this is what it is; an apartment complex. It's NOT the right place for a business trip - There are no services; no restaurant, no room service, you wash your own towels, you buy your own shampoo and toilet paper after your roll runs out, and you spend 30 minutes checking in under an extremely cumbersome, manual, process where you interact with no humans whatsoever. The front office will have no idea what rooms you're talking about, and the GPS will send you down the street in a different direction away from the building based on the address you receive. For Ubers, you'd want to manually move the location to where you are or they won't find you. The building name is different than what's listed here, which doesn't help assure you that you're in the right place if you're a first timer. The positives are the pool, gym, and hot tub, but for the same price, you can get a 4-5 star hotel on the Marina with all those amenities plus the services a traditional hotel offers, and it makes me wonder why the cost of a night at this property is so exorbitant relative to it having no employee/staff support on the ground.

Tell (8/5): - Pros: Clean and had all apartment features good for several days stay... Cons: .. but you have to take out all your trash otherwise they'll charge. In doing so i got locked in the other gated garage area where the dumpster was! Also the availability dates seem so random and it's mostly unavailable; if you change duration to more dats dometimes it shows available! Yet 1-2 dats is not. Suspicious. They also swapped sofas during my stay. Seems not all professionally managed.
Tatiana (8/5): Nice hotel with inconvenient access. - The check in/getting the key procedure is unnecessarily cumbersome, especially if you arrive after dark. This has been echoed by other reviewers. The apt is well appointed and in a good area with the Cheesecake Factory just across the street and Killer Shrimp just down the street on Admiralty Way. For food go to Ralph's for variety.

However these could be totally overlooked for the most beautiful complex, apartment and area. It was a lovely stay, lots of sun, a balcony, comfortable bed and very clean. And free parking in a garage!

Verified traveler (8/5): Family vacation to LA - We found this apartment to be very conveniently located near the beach and very comfortable. Also, the Marina Del Rey area is very close not only to the beach but also downtown, the airport and many fine restaurants, shopping and night spots. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Anthony (8/5): Great Accommodation/Location, Few Minor Niggles - Great location, being 10 minutes stroll from Venice Beach and even closer to the Marina Beach, with plenty of restaurants within the same area. Also handy for Hollywood, taking us around 35 mins to get to Warner Bros (on a Sunday). The accommodation itself was on the first (ground) floor, so unfortunately our view of the beach was obstructed by the buildings across the road from us. It was modern with new appliances installed. A bonus for those on holiday is having laundry facilities in the unit. We used the large kitchen for preparing breakfasts, lunches and even dinner on a couple of nights. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space for clothes storage with a walk-in closet. The sofa bed looked fairly new, and seemed comfortable enough for our teenager. With regard to the complex itself, the pool area was good - as it appears that most of the condos are occupied by locals, the pool was never that busy, even over Labor Day weekend. There are also communal areas to sit in, grills if you feel confident you can look good cooking, and a lounge where you could get tea and coffee up to midday. A couple of minor things that stopped us giving it a full score. The check-in arrangements are confusing - a drop box in the USA is different from what you would expect in the UK, finding the allocated parking space was an ordeal, and there was no patio furniture (this latter not a major problem, but would have been a nice to have). Overall, a very good place.
