- Ulises Ruben (10/5): -
- Emma (8/5): - Lovely pool that was a perfect temperature. Nice & quiet. Large comfy bed and clean rooms. Breakfast was ok & they made an effort to make me something vegan each day It was quite far from the centre with not much nearby, but good if you want a quiet place that has a good pool and parking
- Edyta (9/5): -
- Lucy (9/5): Very comfortable stay in Merida - Quiet location. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. About 10-15min walk to restaurants or main square. Nothing
- Krzysztof (3/5): 5 days without changing towels is not good! Can’t rest in room no 17. I am very much disappointed that such room is offe - Pool, and open area! Good fruits on breakfast! Nice man who did everyday a nice atmosphere! 1. Room no 17 - drama! Shouldn’t be bookable every day at 6:30 prep for breakfast destroy my mornings.
2. Noisy AC
3. Zero privacy!
4. Parking is on street (public).
Ras
- BREMENT (8/5): -
- Sabine (9/5): - Pool was great, the atmosphere was intimate and very friendly, breakfast superb. I especially liked the interior of the rooms and bathrooms. Service is great, and we could refill our water bottles and rent hats. Pool is open only after 9am
- David (10/5): -
- Saima (10/5): Beautiful interior and pleasant atmosphere. - A really nice small hotel with an amazing breakfast - beautifully presented and very tasty. The only issue was that we initially didn’t have hot water, but it was fixed quickly. Safe pariking in front of the hotel. The only small improvement would be to provide slippers in the room — even simple reusable or disposable ones would be perfectly fine.
- Za (8/5): -
- Ruben (7/5): - The pool The timing of opening and close.
Kind of far away from downtown
- Susan (10/5): - Well taken care of
- Annette (10/5): -
- Carmel (10/5): - All the were extremely helpful and friendly and very accomodating.. Always greeted you with a smile. Very clean and good variation in breakfasts. Had acceas to make tea/ coffee throughout day. Honor system to access beerwine snacks at the pool at reasonable prices.
Felt like an oasis One of our group did not have drawers or wardrobe area to hang / store clothes.
- Lewis (10/5): An extremely pleasurable experience. - This hotel is a dream. The minute you enter the lobby you know it will be an exceptional stay. The staff is superb from the owner to housekeeping (we loved Deanna and Maria at the front desk and Jesus in the kitchen during breakfast). The entire place is beautifully kept including the grounds and sparkling (and refreshing) pool and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we loved having the 24 hour coffee bar. We started our stay here and decided to return after a few days in Progreso before flying home. It's been a very memorable part of our trip.
- Matthias (9/5): -
- Ira (10/5): -
- Patricia (9/5): The staff went above and beyond with an airport shuttle, printing boarding passes due to flight change, home cooked brea - air conditioning and cleanliness location is a bit far from central area
- Ing Kallejas (10/5): -
- Ute (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): We always enjoy staying at Hotel Zamna! - Comfortable and clean setting with a wonderful staff and great breakfast.
- Hermann (10/5): - Bestes Frühstück ever
- Andrea (10/5): Para repetir mil veces! - Excelente hotel!
- Daniel (8/5): - Clean nice pool and breakfast included. Nada.
- Charlotte (7/5): Great breakfast, pictures on booking.com are a bit misleading - The breakfast was great, served by super lovely people The pictures on booking are a bit outdated, so the pool area is a bit of a shock compared to the pictures. Also we clearly did not have the room of the picture
- Christian (10/5): 10/10 - Alles top Nada
- Richard (9/5): Lovely place to stay. - Friendly staff, nice pool, nice room, comfy bed, will stay again if I need a hotel in Merida
- Joan (10/5): Wonderful staff!! - Clean and a wonderful staff at the desk and in the kitchen for breakfast Nothing
- Enrico (9/5): Super mooi hotel!
- Jazmin (2/5): - The breakfast was excellent. However, there were small red bugs on the bed. In the morning we were all full of itchy bug bites. No sure if those were bed bugs or fleas. But the experience of sleeping at this hotel was really disappointing.
- B.A.J. (10/5): - Moderne schone kamers. Leuk zwembad, handdoeken beschikbaar. Genoeg plaats om te zitten. Zelfs zonnebrand. Ontbijt is goed en elke dag anders. Genoeg te kiezen. Heel goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, heel vriendelijk personeel. Wij zouden zeker weer hier verblijven.
- James (10/5): Beautiful, tranquil property - My week at Hotel Zamna was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful. The 24-hour availability of water, tea and coffee in the kitchen-adjacent pantry was appreciated. The included morning breakfasts were superb. Eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, etc. And made in the kitchen custom for my wishes. This is not the US-style of self-service breakfast! The food was top notch. The room was comfortable. Bathroom was well-stocked. Everything about this hotel was so clean and tidy. The pool with waterfall was gorgeous. The location of the hotel in Barrio Santiago is convenient to the Plaza Grande and other parks and so very many top notch restaurants. Calle 53 is a very quiet street. And finally, Jesus (property manager) and Diana (reception manager) are both delightful people. I love this hotel and my family will likely end up staying there in the future. 6 stars out of 5!!
- Els (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (9/5): Little gem close to el centro. - Quaint hotel near the city center. Staff, breakfast and pool suited us. It’s not a dislike. More of a heads up. Shower has low water pressure. Parking is a challenge during the week and there are some tiles by the pool that are super slippery.
- Henrietta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iren (9/5): Superb -
- Saverio (4/5): Disappointing -
- Maren (9/5): Brilliant hotel - Brilliant very attentive staff, delicious breakfast, lovely courtyard, nice pool for morning swim incl towels provided, great location Our room was in the corridor between breakfast area and pool and sometimes we got woken up a little early due to traffic passing through or light right outside the window. I’m sure that won’t happen in other rooms.
- Brenda M (10/5): - A beautiful hotel , very clean, staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing with homemade authentic Mexican dishes, hosted by the charming owner Rucio who even shared some delicious recipes. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and have already recommended to our family and friends. Thanks for the great hospitality! Brenda and Bob
- Sojourner333 (9/5): Extremely pleasant, relaxing week in Merida at the Zamna Boutique Hotel - Excellent breakfast, lovely pool, spacious room, good air conditioning Nothing not to like.
- Bret (9/5): Great place - very quiet and peaceful. - I really enjoyed this place. Very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, made by a wonderful woman from Puebla. Also, I loved that the self-serve coffee and beverage bar is available 24x7 (breakfast starts at 8, but I am always ready for coffee before that!). There aren't any bars/restaurants in the immediate area, but a 10 minute walk gets you there!
- Mary (10/5): Excellent riad-style hotel, with very friendly and diverse group of guests, excellent staff - Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very good facilities, including nice pool and kitchen with coffee/tea available 24/7. Nothing
- Denisse (9/5): Superb - unique atmosphere , staff was really nice and friendly, it was clean they have water and different coffee makers available at any time. I did not get to try the breakfast as we left everyday very early but it always smelled delicious there was a possum one night and we would always forget to put the towels on the floor so they could switch them out but they don't automatically do that
- Joachim (5/5): Good location, but too expensive. Very basic - The location is good. Breakfast is ok. The pool is nice. Its a bit run down, very small and dark rooms. Not worth the money.
- Azadeh (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (9/5): Lovely hotel - Helpful and friendly staff and a great breakfast.
- Michael (6/5): - Staff very attentive and accommodating. Facilities adequate. However they are pricing with much higher-end alternatives, they are nowhere near that. Would rate significantly higher if they were not priced so high. I would have checked out early and upgraded if I would have had the option.
- Karen (8/5): The Hotel Zamná has a great location with a helpful knowledgeable staff.f - Staff was well trained and super helpful. They answered lots of questions from us with a smile. Breakfast was fresh; tasty and convenient. A few things in our room needed repairs while we were there. The repairs were done within a day. That part is a positive.
- Patrick (10/5): - We loved Zamna. The staff was great- very helpful and respectful of our privacy. Morning breakfast was very good. The only problem was that the beds were very hard. If that’s what you like, then Zamna is perfect.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent budget hotel - average rating - This hotel was ok, but just ok. The price was reasonable, but the accommodations reflect it. Rooms were somewhat bare, but nothing materially bad. Bathroom vanity had little room to place anything. Pool didn't seem too inviting. Breakfast was a small buffet. I would categorize this a decent budget hotel rather than the how it is named as boutique hotel
- m (2/5): - We planned on a two week stay. Had to check out two days earlier with ample notice, partly due to illness. Owner confirmed we would not be charged for the two nights but the front desk argued that is not what the owner told her even though they immediately booked out our room. We did not have ac for half of the time here so our clothes, including bed sheets and towels were always damp. Also, there was sewage smell coming through the shower drain and we had the hardest, most uncomfortable bed ever. We never felt rested during our entire stay. We do not recommend this hotel.
- Amy (10/5): Stay here!! - Everything was so good. The staff were exceptional! The place was fab - they’d thought of everything, even leaving insect repellent around the place when it was needed! Literally nothing to change! We partied with the owners on NYE and left feeling like family
- IRIS (10/5): - In general, everything was excellent. Nice and pleasant place. The staff and breakfast were great. They always and promptly answered to any request. They should renovate the bathrooms. They need to find a way to safely control the mosquitos in some areas. In one of our party rooms the mosquitos were annoying. Other than that, simply excellent.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Fantastic! Room clean and comfortable. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool. Perfect location, walkable. Highly recommend.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, exceptionally friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended! N/A
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Veronica (10/5): Nice quite and cozy hotel. Love their service - The customer service was exceptional. Gentlemen in reception was extremely helpful and nice. The only thing I did not like was that the toilet cover didn’t stay firm it kept falling so it was uncomfortable when u get up from toilet.
- Susana311 (10/5): Exceptional - The personnel is amazing. The rooms are spacious and the hotel overall is charming. It's very clean and breakfast is amazing with a variety of cut fruits and dishes. There is actually no parking, you park on the street. The water in our shower was either boiling or too cold, it was difficult to find a middle point.
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional - Location, staff, breakfast, facilities I liked everything
- Carole (9/5): This hotel is a gem. - The pool is lovely, big enough to actually swim in and very clean. Breakfast is exceptional: so much to choose from, and a local specialty every day. And a super-friendly staff, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. We also liked that the hotel was close to the Centro but out of the heavy tourist area; it felt like a more authentic Merida neighborhood. Although we personally never felt insecure, some might find the walk from the Centro at night a tad intimidating. The streets were deserted and the sidewalks not in great condition. If you are not comfortable walking, taxis and Ubers are plentiful and not expensive.
- joe (10/5): - the staff and food is amazing, the property condition - 8 years old a little worn, but beautiful. Kind of like having your own little private getaway. Once you walk out side the front doors it is a different world, it is a very old city. We enjoyed the local stores, vendors and food. lots of Yucatan food dishes, MUST HAVE PANUCHOS!! Uber everywhere here... cheap. We stayed 9 days and they were filled with adventure. To get the most out of your trip, do lots of research on things to do
- Frieda (10/5): - The staff was excellent, the place is clean and safe location. I love this hotel
- Dennis (8/5): Very good - Very nice as advertised
- Aillon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Zamná was a fantastic place to spend a week exploring Merida and the surrounding areas!! Highly recommend. - We loved so many things about Zamná Boutique! From the delicious and varied breakfast to the extremely friendly and helpful staff (all of them) to the tiered pool - our entire family had an excellent time. The bathrooms had some issues over the week we were there, but the Zamná Boutique staff quickly fixed the problem and we were able to immediately go back to enjoying our stay.
- Audrey (10/5): Chose Hotel Zamna for your next stay in Merida - This was a lovely quiet and comfortable place to stay. The service was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great with a different menu every day; they even had lactose free milk and coffee/tea service available all day. I enjoyed using the outside hammock on the patio with the honor bar. The pool was a lovely antidote to the hot days.
- mariana (10/5): - The hotel is very pretty and well kept. The staff were kind. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
- Yvette (10/5): - We stayed at Zamna for 4 nights, absolutely wonderful experience! Very clean, friendly & helpful staff. Leidy had our rooms spic and span daily, and we loved making small talk with her; sweetest housekeeper ever! Daily breakfast and coffee was delish! Very easy check in, safe and quiet area, short walk to the busy center of Merida. Cannot recommend Zamna enough!
- Carlo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - Great area, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, quiet, comfortable
- Fabrice (6/5): Pleasant - The location of the hotel is great. Calm, the architecture is very nice.
The staff is very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is a little dated. The beds ares tiny and not in good shape and the bathroom need a total renovation.
The overall hotel is nice however it’s out priced for the level of offerings in Merida.
- Maurizio (8/5): - Kindness of the staff
- Jenny (10/5): A restful and peaceful stay. We loved taking a dip in the pool at the end of each day. - The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. It is rare to find king beds in rooms, but ours had a true king size bed. We were able to use the in-room air conditioner which kept our room perfectly comfortable even on the days when it was 106 degrees outside! The only thing that could have been SLIGHTLY better would be if the hotel was a few blocks closer to the commercial streets, but it really isn't very far out of the main area. A quick 5-10 minute walk will get you into the heart of things.
- Marat (10/5): Amazing location and hotel, would definitely recommend for a family (we had two kids 8 and 13) - Great location, quiet at night, but easy 10 min walk to centre city. Pool was great, and the breakfast was amazing - we felt we were at home! Wifi is excellent and the room was spacious
- Tim (10/5): Great gem of a small hotel - This is an amazing little hotel near to the center of Merida. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was very good and we appreciated the little touches such as lactose free milk. The breakfast fruits were very fresh and tasteful. If we return to Merida, we definitely will stay here again
- Amy (10/5): Hotel Zamna Botique should be your choice! - Hotel Zamna Botique was absolutely wonderful and the owners and staff go above and beyond for you. It is close enough to the Center and the walk was quite pleasant. It feels cozy and they have beautiful plants everywhere. It’s really nice to walk outside of your room and be able to see the moon and the pool/garden area is right below. The breakfast was delicious and creative! They really went out of their way to make sure my dietary needs were met and this you do not find everywhere. Another highlight was that the kitchen area was open 24 hours and you’re able to get tea or coffee (bonus espresso machine) anytime you want. If you’re looking for a place with style and a family feel to it then this is it as everyone who works there is as genuine as they come.
