• Kane (6/5): - The rooms are clean and Friendly staff. The furniture could be updated and the bed needed a new mattress. The restaurant is good. Good over all but a little bit pricey
• Marife (6/5): - Breakfast was tasteful.Pool needs some make over, there were chipped tiles. The inside of the apartment, downstairs only have 2 fans no AC so it will get hot. Limited utensils if you want to cook. The worst part is the bunk bed, every time we moved, it creaked like it's going to fall apart.. the bathroom/ shower, sink was not draining unless you manually open the little black stopper, had to use a disposable fork to push. Lights are dim in the rooms..I think this hotel needs some TLC if you want to rate this as 4 stars.. definitely right now at least a 2.5 stars. You have to ask for everything, housekeeping is till 4pm only.
• Ellaine (4/5): - Recently stayed at the Reef Beach Resort and unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. The restaurant staff was consistently warm, kind and helpful, several issues significantly impacted our overall stay. Property is quite dated and lacks modern amenities. During our visit, a local event was hosted on-site with loud music until midnight and disruptive noise continuing. Well past warm. Disappointingly, guests were not informed of this event upon checking in and only made aware during the morning of, leaving us no time to adjust plans or expectations. WiFi connectivity was also an issue since it was unreliable throughout most of the property, only improving when near the main office. The cable TV functioned for 1 night which was frustrating. Cleanliness was another concern, we encountered two cockroaches in the bathroom during our stay which was unsettling and indicative of some needed improvements. Overall while the restaurant staff was a highlight, the hotel falls short in terms of facility upkeep, communication, and basic guest expectations.
• Narrisa (8/5): - The property, as described is a bit far from the hustle and bustle of Gen Luna. I enjoyed the quiet time and how accessible it still is from everywhere. Breakfast was ok, I was expecting something more as I read from the reviews. Room was spacious for 2 pax and it also has a balcony overlooking the ocean. Housekeeping wasn't a daily thing though unless you request for it. Overall, it was a good decision to pick this hotel after 2 nights of staying at the center of Gen Luna. Definitely had my peace and quiet!
• Sean (10/5): Excellent - It was really clean and the hot water worked really good. The restaurant was good as well, especially for breakfast. We had the pancakes and the omelette was really good with the three cheeses. The weight staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.
• Malia (6/5): - The room was ok. We were looking at a wall next door. Every time we walked in the room smells like sewer. We had to ask for spray. I think I paid the private van twice. Which is 2000 pesos each way. They did not give a receipt when I arrived for the pick up. Then when I checked out and making a payment for drop off. They told I did not pay for pick up. Which I was certain that I paid it. They told me the manager will into it through the camera surveillance but never did. Another thing was the rental scooter. We were told that if we rent through them they would make sure that the bike was newer. That wasn't the case. The scooter was old and scratched up. The helmet did not worked. It was falling apart. I ask for another one and give another one that doesn’t have any clip attached to it. And then when I ask for orange juice which I paid extra for it at breakfast. They give me a watered down orange juice. I’m a little disappointed! I don’t I will ever stay there again.

• James (6/5): Excellent Staff, but not comfortable. - The service was great, but the facility is just so-so at best. We had issues with the wifi and with our restroom that took a good several attempts to fix. The staff was always friendly and happy to help. Also, the bed and pillows were super hard and the two nights we were their they had rave-like parties until midnight that were very loud.

• Timothy (6/5): Overall, A Very Below Average Hotel - AC is only in the two bedrooms. No AC downstairs for kitchen, dining and family room which has the only TV. Downstairs is like an oven in the afternoon. Poor customer service at the restaurant. I wanted to order a glass of wine with my pasta and they said they could only sell me a whole bottle. Thought Manager would make it right but she did not. She said if the rest of the bottle goes to waste, they have to throw it away, so the cost is passed on as a higher price to the customer. I ordered Rigatoni Bolonage (red sauce) and got Pasta Carbonara (white sauce) which I sent back. I don't think the wait staff knows the difference and they require training on non-Filipino foods as well as customer service. They are polite however. Overall a very below average accommodation for me and my family. I won't be back.
• Kenneth (6/5): - Having breakfast in the morning outside overlooking the ocean was nice. There was a coffee place across the street where I can get a cappuccino to go and then drink it when I was having breakfast at the hotel. Two times a week there would be a beach party at the bar and restaurant area from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. If you don't plan to be part of that party you will not get sleep anywhere in the hotel.
• Nathan (4/5): - The general quality of the service and the room is not worth the price. The service at the restaurant is very slow and the front desk doesn't understand simple requests. The room is not cleaned correctly and there is a lot of parties organized, if you want to sleep correctly don't take a room with ocean view because it's very close to the dancefloor.

• gil jones (6/5): - The employees were great and really courteous! No issues there. The property on the otherhand, it needs a bit of maintenance. The room we got, the water pressure on the 2nd floor shower (it's the only shower on the room we booked and we booked an apartment with 2 rooms) is non existent. It would take you quite a long time to take a shower. Then the toilet tank doesn't refill fast enough. We had to fill the tank using the bidet.

One of my companions actually slip… the lavatory is stuck, the phone doesn’t work, the wash basin in the bathroom leaks… definitely not a pleasant stay… we left earlier

Restaurant food at the resort is horrible. The whole place/rooms needs to be demolished. Room stinks. Staff is okay. Not worth the money.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - The staff are very accommodating specially Marlon, John Bert, Juan and Joan and the manong guard at the gate. Not good about a reef resort, cannot be considered as a four star hotel. We reserved and paid early Jan.29 ,2019 and Checked in August 22, 2019, thinking we are to get a nicer room And view but unfortunately we were given a room near a room being renovated and painted which Paint is still Fresh and can we smell them In our room. That is not good for our lungs. We requested for a change of room but they told us no more available rooms .It’s good that we saw Marlon that night and we were transferred to a bachelors pad, downgraded but better than the first one. There were cockcroaches at the room coz they clean it only every two days, tissue papers are limited . No hand towels or even face towels. We don’t expect this kind of accommodation. We travel international and domestic but this is the worst experience so far. If not for their staff maybe we can rate them as two stars only. Photos of the hotel shown on line is totally different from that in person. Their food is good but pricey. With this experience , Will never book at Reef Resort ever.😞
• Reindeer (4/5): - I didn’t like the B1 room that we stayed. The bathroom smelled! The bidet was broken, it was leaking. The water on the sink in the bathroom stinks also. The kitchen cabinet smelled like cockroaches!
• Aldo (8/5): - Location is perfect if you want to be close but not in the busy area of tourism road. Staff is friendly and helpful. They could improve on their food ..... they could take lessons in burritto making and lessen the tempura batter. I'd stay here again. Price is reasonable.

• Jan (10/5): Review Reef Beach Resort. - Due to the fact we lost our luggage from DC to Manila, we had to shorten this visit to one night. Too bad, but the local staff and hotels.com arranged a refund. Thanks much to both parties. Great service, great hospitality.
• Alfonso (8/5): - Staff were very responsive and the room was well equipped, even though water mains and internet were less than ideal as seems to be the case with the rest of the island. The restaurant did avoid the usual: "sorry sir not available", which was appreciated. *Reef* beach is exactly what you get.

The location, the food, the staff, the views, and the room we stayed in were all top notch and very much well worth the price paid for the stay. Only minor thing that we can think of to complain about is that there are certain areas/objects/spaces in the room that we stayed in that looked like it wasn't cleaned in a long while... good thing that this is just a minor detail for us and did not take away from the experience. Highly recommended to stay in this place when visiting Siargao. It definitely has everything you need.

• ojie (10/5): we;ll be back... - the location is just right, not so far from Cloud 9 and other establishments including the Boulevard/market. we love that we can cook and they have utensils available. It is very spacious, we are only four but six people can stay comfortably. The place is quiet. Food is okay though we only had breakfast there. you can relax in their pool, veranda, in the restaurant , walk in the shore or laze in the garden. They have pet dogs.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Spacious home - I booked our stay tru expedia just for a night for 5 pax but was charged extra 1 pax when the home can accomodate 6 pax plus other tax charges. If I booked directly to the hotel I could have save 2k php. The facility is clean but pricey to the fact that there are not much things to see except enjoying the pool. Ita very close to the beach. There were no wifi available in our unit and the tv has poor connection. The thing I only like is you have a spacious living room and dining where you can cook your own food withoit worrying kotchen itensils to use.
• veronica (8/5): Perfect for surfers - I stayed at Reef Beach Resort because of its proximity to Cloud 9. In less than 5 minutes using the rented car I was already there, amused at the early risers raring to experience the Siargao waves. The hotel staff were all very nice, but efficiency can be improved, esp in the dining area. Faster service would have been very welcome esp after a day outdoors. Excellent for surfers, not for luxury travelers though. Cereal breakfast was excellent with hefty serving of fresh mango and banana.
• Maria (10/5): Loved Reef Beach! - Stayed 3 nights with family and friends and we loved how friendly the staff were, we loved the beachfront property, stayed in a two bedroom seaview villa and a another room which was so comfortable and we got to cook and lounge by the pool area. I would definitely stay here again as the location was nice and close enough to get to cloud 9 and nearby shops and cafe.

• Nina (10/5): Great service, great location, well-equipped rooms - Our family of 16(!) stayed at reef beach resort occupying three villas and extra beds last July for the siargao international marathon and their place was just the best! Price was very reasonable for the quality of service they provide as well as the amenities. Eldon of front desk and MArgie were such gracious hosts and very friendly. They accomodated our requests and took care of the land and sea bookings. We had kids aged 2 and 1 so the pool was a hit but the stairs were quite a scare, but still otherwise such a nice place to stay at! will definitely stay again and recommend to others. :) Thank you so much Mam Beth!!
• Jose (10/5): Amazing reef experience!!! - Great stay at reef! Place was relaxing w/ great view of the sea! Food was delicious w/ ok serving! Staff was really accomodating & helpful esp the girl at the recep! Room was spacious and cleanly good! Kitchen utensils were definitely helpful! Despite of the unusually crowded place for a period due to a movie shoot, it was great overall experience! Definitely worth the 5k per room rate! Will definitely try this again next time!

He was very accommodating and helpful with all our concerns and inquiries. The resort is lucky to have a staff like him. We stayed in their 2-bedroom unit. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfy. Beautiful view of the bay.The kitchen is well-equipped so we were able to cook breakfast. Location is close to restaurants, market and Cloud Nine. If we visit Siargao, we will definitely stay here again.
