Guest Reviews
- Travel62700671130 (10/5): Good value for the money - All you need after a long day in London. Clean room, good bed and a hot shower.
Well connected to get into Waterloo station ia Clapham Junction.
- Y3727IDkeving (10/5): Good for a couple of nights stay - I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean & comfortable. Its a typical Travelodge room with no frills but its all you need for a night or two.
I slept well and the shower was good.
There was some traffic noise from outside but not excessive.
There isn't a cafe on site but they have various vending machines.
There is a variety of shops/takeaways within a few minutes walk.
Car park on site, it is chargeable at £11.50 per night.
I would stay again.
- Z7452WHryans (10/5): Hats off to Ash & Eshley - Exceptional service from Ash & Esley from the second we arrived. Couldn’t do enough for us and were very accommodating.
Hope to see you again soon.
The Salters.
- V3897BRamyw (4/5): Generally dirty , shabby and run down , also incredibly noisy . Wouldn’t visit again - Dirty shabby and noisy , not great location
- 56chezb (8/5): Good for the price - Just an average hotel , perfect for a few nights sleep for the price . Staff were welcoming and friendly. Offered a quiet room , not sure if it was or not as we used a fan to cut out background noise. They have a couple vending machines but apart from that no service for food or drinks . Housekeeping was excellent, replacing and replenishing during our 3 night stay . Close to bus stop but tube is a bit of distance. Local shops, cafe , pub etc nearby
- F6196FJrobg (2/5): Mouse found in room - Worst hotel I’ve stayed in, I was staying on the second floor. a mouse woke me up at 4am and had to leave the hotel early, the corridors and room smelt really bad, staff was not willing to listen.
- H2373RSjimf (10/5): Travelodge - Great service with Shika always professional and willing to go the extra mile
- Andywhite6377 (10/5): A decent stay - Overall, it was an adequate place to stay for my trip. Nothing extravagant, but everything I needed was there the room was clean and reception staff was friendly. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area the see Battersea power station and looking for a decent spot without breaking the bank.
- christineoA4259SM (6/5): This hotel is what I would call is ULTRA Basic - ULTRA Basic is being kind and too far away from everything I was there to see.
Stayed for two nights, almost left after first.
No chain on the door or hairdryer which to me are basic amenities. Way more important than a TV. Security should be prime concern. Also, the bed was not made after my first night. Surely that should have been done.
The towels didn’t smell clean and no glass in bathroom.
Needless to say I will NEVER EVER stay at a Travelodge again.
- TerryThessaloniki (2/5): Disappointing - Bad location — isolated and not feeling safe. Far from Battersea Power Station, which was the main reason for choosing this hotel. The premises are old and rather poor. Staff seemed unable to assist with requests. The only truly helpful person was the manager, who managed to move us after our overall disappointment and complaints about the elevator being out of service. She really seemed to listen and care.
- karthid2026 (10/5): Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service - Great stay at Travelodge Battersea! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was very cozy, and everything was well-maintained. The staff were wonderful. Especially Ms.Asmita at the reception was very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. She made the check-in process smooth and made us feel valued as guests. Excellent value for money - I would definitely stay here again.
- P4337CSbrianb (10/5): My Accommodation - Having stayed at the Battersea Travelodge for nearly 16 years I've met loads of great staff but today the 2 very nice ladies on reception went the extra mile with my welcome, a great shout out for being professional, polite and very polished , thank you Asmita and Shula .
- Coastal55335855170 (10/5): beyond helpful and supportive - Shika at the front desk was a wonder. There were problems with the room and she went above and beyond to take care of me
- N2714WGtheot (10/5): Deffo stay again - Very friendly staff, especially Shika who has gone beyond expectations of someone who checks In guests. Friendly, quick and efficient!
- 74pavithras (10/5): Comfortable, welcoming stay at this budget-friendly hotel - I stayed here for 3 nights from the 18th to the 20th of February.
Samantha, who checked me in, was very helpful, courteous and welcoming. She helped me out with where I needed to go, places to eat that were fab and easy on the pocket, and ensured the staff were all accessible if I needed anything.
A special shout out also to Asmita (The Manager), and Nilza who were very friendly and accommodating. It is really nice to see Managers looking out for staff and wanting to ensure customer satisfaction.
My room was very comfortable, had most things I needed and was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and it was well-furnished for someone like me, who travels solo on work and research. Please carry shampoo and conditioner.
Thank you all so much again. I will definitely be back here, should I visit this part of London again.
- mikey_P7 (8/5): A comfortable stay - I stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in the area.
The room was comfortable and clean.
The internet signal was poor so I had to purchase more internet access beyond the 30 mins free access.
You have to pay for parking in the car park (remember to validate your parking at registration to get cheaper parking).
One of the members of staff (Shika) was very helpful.
- Jim1stAid (10/5): Clean/cheap tired hotel - Welcome by Massoud was pleasant and appropriate. Organised my accommodation and needs speedily and without fuss. Shame only one lift working. Hotel is basic and looking tired. All areas were clean and acceptable.
- Trip37516816247 (8/5): Helpful people on reception - Some rooms in the hotel are not very quiet. Fortunately Shika who was on the front desk helped me find the quietest room available. Thank you Shika.
- CornishTraveller2323 (2/5): Mouse found running around the room - We booked a family stay and used Battersea as a way of commuting into the city. On the second night at approximately 9pm, a mouse ran out from under the bed. It then ran into the bathroom and hid behind the toilet cistern. We then found mouse droppings in the bathroom and on the carpet indicating that the rodent had been there for a while. My children were then unable to sleep. We were eventually moved rooms but this experience was not acceptable.
- C2378CYlisam (10/5): Easy to plan value for money weekend - We came to see our daughter who lives in Essex and to watch our son do the Battersea half marathon
Lovely hotel room and Mahmood on reception was very helpful and friendly.Parking a steal at £10 24 hours.Lovely 2.5 mile walk to Battersea power station or use the 44 bus which takes you there for £1.75 each.Lots of restaurants and bars along the route and Anchor pub great .Also recommend the Arches cinema at Battersea. No hotel breakfast but nice cafe to the right outside front doors Amora Dolca .Will come again.Room clean warm and even a bath plus tea and coffee.Well done travelodge
- utsavl2026 (10/5): Super supportive staff and a serene stay experience - Calm and serene experience
Easy check in
Room was nice and clean, preheated before arrival
Also the location of the hotel is in a very beautiful and urban area...so no issues traveling to other parts of London
All amenities were in working order
Had a corner room to myself so no noise complaints either
Excellent & supportive staff especially Asmita (the reception manager)...always there to help with the smallest of things
Overall a value for money stay
Will definitely visit again and suggest you book your stay here
- 851ashas (10/5): Great team that makes your feel at home - Amazing ladies the team of Asmita, shikha, raha, highly recommend to stay here! Thank you so much for making it that little bit special.
- michaelfH8070EP (10/5): Great stay - Asmita, Shika, and Raha were all fantastic. They were so helpful, generous, and cheery. They are a great team together and made us very welcome.
- H1087RWjos (2/5): YUK - Disgusting! Hotel corridors stank of stagnant water and urine, stained carpets and couldn't tell the last time they even had a decent hoovering! Skirting boards and every edge was caked in dust.
Our room was just....NO! Again, dust everywhere, stains up the walls, walls dented and poorly maintained, bedding ripped and smelt funky, no plug sockets anywgere near the bed, so had to obtain an extension lead to run across the width of the room...this then posed a trip hazard! Carpet looked and felt filthy and the bathroom.....OMFG...Just awful, again not clean, toilet seat broken and gut wrenching filthy...hair in the sink and plug hole, floor just not even had a cats lick wash over!
This was a Christmas treat for us and this would've ruined it if it was for more than one night, luckily it was just one night, so we just chalked it up to experience and got on with making family memories.
NEVER will I ever recommend this hotel or even the chain to anyone, we have stayed in lovey ones before, this has just ruined it for us!
- SamM341 (2/5): Wanna have a filthy room and watch as a car gets broken into in the car park?? Come on in. - Bathroom filthy (we have the video to show this).
Bedsheets stained (we have the pictures).
Thick black hairs in the the beds (we are all blonde).
Cars getting broken into on the TL property (tick that box too).
Smells of weed in the halls.
No hoovering done at all…
Am I selling it yet?
Please do not bother with this hotel at all. The ONLY reason we stayed was because it was New Years and was struggling to find somewhere else to stay as a family of 4.
- 154cerysw (2/5): Disgusting - Stayed for a week very disappointed, very dirty rooms was told they get cleaned daily although we found used fake eyelashes on the 4th night ( that we don’t use so not ours) had to complain to get bedding changed as the cleaners didn’t, all cleaners do is change bins don’t even hoover floors let alone make the beds. Would not stay again.
- sarahaG8931OF (2/5): Extremely disappointed - Extremely disappointed with the room. Dirty room and outdated decor. Very basic room and a really horrible smell in the room. Pillows smelt too. If we weren’t tired we’d have moved rooms. Definitely would not recommend staying there. Even put us off staying in Travelodge again.
- C7086ZFamrs (10/5): Nice Stuff - My stay in the hotel was very good... I appreciate the stuff (Shika & Raha) they were so nice and helpful... Specially with providing me with free Wifi codes instead of letting me pay for it!
- Safari45524867432 (10/5): Travelodge - Shika at the reception was very welcoming and amazing......great stay, recommend to everyone. Room was really good, comfortable stay
- L1924WOmichellew (10/5): Thank you Shika - I would very much like to thank Shika from Travelodge Battersea, she was so very professional, helpful and kind and went beyond her duties to find and return a precious scarf to me that I had left behind in my room. I often stay in a Travelodge when visiting family and friends and they are always reliable for comfy clean accommodation but having great staff like Shika is truly priceless. Thank you
- LM5566789 (10/5): Amazing stay - Room nice and tidy, with a comfortable bed Stayed here and was greeted by Samantha who gave us a warm welcome and got checked out by Esley who was lovely and let us store our luggage while we when out for breakfast. The hotel itself was clean and with a train station less than 10 minutes walk away.
- DavelL-W1957 (10/5): Meal out at a Michelin star restaurant - Ideal location for our visit to Joia at Battersea Power station . Good value for money. No bar on site but a nice pub across the road! Staff were very helpful as I left a pair of trousers behind. With the help of a prepaid self addressed envelope posted to the hotel my trousers are now back in my wardrobe!
- loolabell36 (2/5): Just avoid if you don't want your personal belongings to go 'missing'! - Just avoid if you don't want your personal belongings to go 'missing'!
Most disappointing for us is the way that the dealt with our belongings. Lets just say, they were disinterested in giving us back my husbands bottle of Creed!! Despite writing over 5 emails, HO simply aren't interested in how their hotels and staff within operate. They eventually said there was nothing there, even though I had photographic evidence. Thanks for that, I hope someone there enjoys the bottle!!!!
The room stunk of cigarettes. Then found evidence of butts rammed down the plug hole...how the hell is this missed on a turnaround.
The general location of the hotel is okish, but not exactly Battersea, its on the far edge of, and not really walkable to the Power Station - I also wouldn't go out after dark.
You've been warned
- Chelsea8922 (10/5): Friendly Staff - We really enjoyed our stay the staff is Friendly and very helpful. Clean rooms, with basic amenities. Lovely café a small walk up the road for breakfast. Takeaway for all types of appetite.
- kerrie10720 (4/5): Not recommended - On arrival we were advised the room we had been allocated Reception were unable to locate the master key to generate a key to the room for us and therefore we had to be let in manually. We therefore had no key to our room for our stay!
We noted that the security door leading to the rooms did not require a key to allow entry (or if it did it was not working as we just walked through....).
The room itself had stained carpet, scruffy interiors and the bathroom was dusty with no soap in the dispenser at the sink.
The beds provided for the children were camping beds at best and extremely uncomfortable.
The only perk I will say is it was relatively quiet however we could not open the curtains with it being on the ground floor with a direct clear view in from the car park.
We left early in the morning as it was not the sort of hotel we wanted to hang around for too long. There was no one manning reception and again the door to the rooms could be openly accessed so really question security.
Shame as we have stayed in a number of Travelodges before and this has been the worst. Would rather pay a little more for a better hotel.
- Randiga (10/5): Best value option, friendly staff and great transport links! - Maybe best value hotel in all of London! Short walk from Clapham Junction, Britain’s busiest rail hub with fast trains into London Victoria (10min) and Gatwick Airport (20min). Plenty of buses outside the doors to central London. Always clean, good size rooms with all necessary comfort, friendly and helpful staff. Extra gold star to the staff for being super friendly and helpful at this Travelodge!
- 414dand (4/5): Dirty, eerie and old. - £350 for 2 nights doesn’t get you a lot these days.
Hotel was just really grim and eerie - corridors and rooms were really dated and just had a feeling of dirtiness. Stunk of bleach and weed. Bathrooms were horrendous, shower head wouldn’t adjust and the water came out so slow. Drafts coming through the windows, duvet was so thin, sheets were rough and pillows were flat.
Parking at the back but it costs £10/day.
I understand this is London but it’s just shocking what you receive these days for what I consider quite a bit of money.
Will never return.
- Andywhite6377 (10/5): Wonderful stay - Amazing location, arrived and was able to park in the car park attached to the hotel the room itself was clean and easy to check into and I want to give a huge shout out to the morning Staff who was amazing and very helpful.
- Gill_D_W (10/5): Thank you - Location was perfect for what we needed, room was clean and not like some previous hotel we have stayed in so we were really happy, the staff at reception at check in was brilliant. Huge mention to esley who was friendly and welcoming which is what you want at a hotel.
- charlottehA5020YG (10/5): Thank you Nilza - I stayed here on 20–21 November and wanted to give special recognition to the receptionist, Nilza. She showed genuine kindness and care from the moment I arrived, and her approach made the entire check-in experience feel effortless after a long journey.
Nilza struck the perfect balance of professionalism and empathy, the sort of customer service you rarely see anymore. She made sure I felt looked after, nothing felt like too much trouble, and she created a very positive first impression of the hotel.
The room was comfortable and the facilities were exactly what I needed, but Nilza’s warm, thoughtful support is what stood out most during my stay. She’s a real credit to the team.
Thank you, Nilza, for making such a difference.

- 475festusa (10/5): Amazing customer service. - It was a lovely atmosphere with insanely pleasant staff. Especially felecia who was extremely helpful and kind to me. Excellent customer service.
- GoPlaces24182726761 (8/5): Warm welcome at the travelodge Battersea - Hotel is well placed within London-easy access to all transport. Rooms are typical Travelodge type. What made it special was the warm welcome given by Felicia on reception. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She even managed to swap rooms for us so that me and my colleagues were close together. Politeness 10/10, Initiative 10/10, Knowledge 10/10.
- aniquea2025 (10/5): Great Place - Nice Experience. Mr. Wesley was so kind and his Hospitality was very Good. Battersea Travel Lodge is on nice location. Cleanliness and Room service are good
- 338zekec (10/5): Perfect stay - Reception was exceptionally clean. Staff were very welcoming too. A big shout out to Wesley Nilza (sorry if I spelt that wrong) he was happy to accommodate me and even suggested ideas for me and my partner to do. Overall was a great experience and would definitely recommend to others
- 240rajinr (10/5): Excellent - Great stay at Travelodge, The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff wesley was so friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for my trip. I’d definitely stay again.
- A1621OIterrif (10/5): Useful place to stay for a reasonable price - Wesley & Kim on reception were great. As was the young man on night duty. I really appreciated their helpfulness and cheerfulness after an arduous journey. The location was good with buses outside to Fulham Broadway, useful for Chelsea FC, Earls Court, Victoria, & Clapham Junction. The room was basic but clean & comfortable with tv & hot drink making facilities, and en suite shower. Reasonable value for London accommodation.
- richardflair2025 (2/5): Very tired & dated - Aside from the bedsheets and bathroom, the room was tired and filthy, way lower than what I expect from Travelodge or for the price point I was charged. There were cables hanging from light fittings, holes in the main door (packed with cotton wool), creaky floors, chipped desks, no shampoo/conditioner despite advertised, 1970's lighting and stains on the carpets and a broken fan. It felt tired despite a recent renovation. If it weren't for the clean sheets and bathroom, I would've left and booked elsewhere.
- jdaley2025 (8/5): Trip to London - The room was well furnished and very clean, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was in a lovely location near the Thames.
- zak912 (10/5): Best in Battersea - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Great Value Stay in a Handy Battersea Location!”
I recently stayed at Travelodge London Battersea and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and convenient it was. The hotel is in a great location — close to buses, trains, and the river, making it really easy to get around London.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made check-in and check-out quick and easy. My room was clean, tidy, and exactly what I needed after a long day exploring the city. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure — simple things that make a big difference!
- salliss1 (10/5): Fantastic hotel! Great location! - Great hotel, great location. Clean and reasonable for such a central part of London. Only 10 minutes walk to Clapham Junction station. Pramud went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Thank you!
- H1326EUakashs (10/5): Awesome experience - The staff at this hotel is so attentive not to mention the manager I think her name is Kim she is so hospitable. 10/10 great
- Susidoos (8/5): Travelodge delivers again - Really helpful and very friendly Reception Team …. Helped to make our stay trouble free !
You know what you’re getting with Travelodge - good, consistent, clean accommodation.
- rachelwB5266OP (10/5): Friendly budget hotel - The location ticked all the boxes we needed. Bed was comfy, found a parking space ok, was clean. Check in was straight forward & the staff were friendly & helpful (in particular Kimberly). All for a reasonable price, will more than likely stay again.
- Ed71_11 (10/5): Great hotel - very clean room in good condition - Great hotel - very clean room in good condition. Communal corridors could do with a good hoover / bit of fresh air or shake n vac between fire doors / communal windows cleaned. Special shout out to Kimberley who went above.and beyond ! Will return ! Good value for London.
- 744panasheg (10/5): Amazing stay - Kimberly was warm and welcoming!! Clean and tidy room. Great value for money on a busy weekend. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- Davidwragg (4/5): Hotel public areas really need sprucing up and some TLC - Waited for 15 minutes to check in as there was no one around. Foyer is really grim , you walk up dirty stairway with ripped carpets. Then along stinking grim corridors smelling rank and of cigarette smoke.
The room itself was fine though, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and sheets and towels.
- 400joannec (6/5): Poor night sleep in room 214 - This hotel was in a great location, close to my work meeting at Battersea Power Station - only
Ten mins on the Uber boat.
My allocated room was huge - like a family room with a double bed and single bed (all for me!) However, unfortunately the lift was constantly in use and the vibrations could be felt/noise of lift going up/down throughout the night.
The room was clean and I was able to open the windows to change the temperature.
I will be staying here again next month but will request a room away from the lift!
- A7500HLvickym (10/5): Great stay - Beautiful stay at the hotel , nice and clean staff was lovely and respectful especially the manager, Kimberly she went above and beyond to help me will definitely come back to stay once I visit London again
- jasonbQ2616EC (8/5): Brilliant stay at battersea travelodge... - I stayed at battersea travelodge and the woman NILZA was brilliant, I hope to see her again, my experience was i would definitely do it again thank you...
- NorthStar64652698544 (10/5): Enjoyable Experience and Helpful Team - I particularly enjoyed the check-in experience at Travelodge Battersea, having met Nilza at reception who assisted me. The process was quick, and turned out to be friendly and helpful with amenities made available on request. This was a relief, as I had lots to carry and had travelled quite a distance to this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the common areas.

- G1006FJashleyb (10/5): Staff made my stay - Felecia on the front desk was amazing…helped with anything and everything me and my family needed from parking to internet to room key…..she made our stay easy and comfortable
- jamesmH2256XO (10/5): Travelodge London Battersea - Hotel was clean and tidy, parking on site for £10, no issues at all very good stay. The price was slightly higher than I’d like the cost went down by £15 after I booked it which was slightly frustrating. But overall very good recommend. Some nice cafes for breakfast around the corner and a nice view of the Thames less than a 5 min walk away.
- Flyer04715836365 (10/5): sensational - I stayed, staff was amazing! very efficient. room service was excellent as well as the standard and cleanness of the room. breakfast tasted great definitely worth the money, I would definitely stay again but for much longer .
sheets were clean
bathroom was clean
air con and heater worked great
standard of flooring was 10/10
- 500reecem (10/5): All round good stay - Really good experience, no complaints. Staff was very welcoming, rooms were clean, pleasant atmosphere, would definitely recommend
- 693emar (10/5): Overall very good and would recommend - Very nice room extremely clean and hygienic. Staff were kind and accommodative. The food was also good they had a variety of options.
- harv83 (10/5): Great service from Kimberley - Excellent one night stay
Kimberley on reception was very helpful and friendly
Room spacious, clean and comfortable.
Ideal location for events at Battersea Park with the number 44 bus right outside.
Great value for a night or two, recommend
- 867ameera (10/5): Family stay - Stayed here with family . Was a great stay the manager Kimberly was helpful and amazing went above to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome . London is such a nice place and will visit again .. hotel nice and clean staff great
- princeomera (10/5): Great experience - Had a great stay with my family. Hotel was nice and clean staff friendly and welcoming. Kids loved London and don’t wanna leave planing to stay another night love it here will definitely be back with the family to see the team and explore.. Kimberly manager
- jazzfaz76 (2/5): Hotel needs refurb - Travelodge Battersea was not up to the usual Travelodge standards.
Very tatty and carpets from reception, corridors and bedrooms were worn and grubby.
We had 3 rooms booked & they all had some stains on bed bases, uncovered carpets, stains on chairs.
Bathroom had hairs on toilet, mildew growing in one sink, all smelt a bit musty.
No air conditioning but rooms had a fan, but still were hot and noisy.
I would not recommend this particular hotel.
- adamZ2837WC (4/5): Grubby and unpleasant - Grubby overall - no soap or shower gel in the room. No AC. Just a grubby place that’s run down. Smelly corridors and carpets, dirty tv and remote, room is too hot. No iron or ironing board. Terrible cold lighting that are glare bombs. Light switches dirty… just all the basics. The bedding and towels were clean though.
- JonB1339 (8/5): Very helpful, friendly staff - We had a good stay, room was comfy and had everything we needed. I also want to give a shoutout to Ash and Favour who were very helpful in assisting us with storage for luggage and bits and pieces left over from a family wedding. We can't thank them enough for helping us to keep our belongings safe.
- kylegW3193JS (10/5): Comfortability - The room was very well cleaned, organised and maintained the bathroom was clean the bed was very comfy It was a great experience
- Q232FQanas (10/5): - I stayed here for 5 months and all I can say is that everyone is lovely, they all tasted me and my children so well. Have no complaints what so ever. Thank you so all the staff for making our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Kimberly , feleica, fungi , favour , samatha , nilza , and ellian Thank you all really enjoyed my stay
- witchwoman (2/5): Very poorly maintained - I'm afraid that this was the worst stay that I've had at Travelodge. On arriving at the room I discovered pubic hairs on the toilet seat before any of us had used the toilet! One of the single beds had a dip in the mattress that was so deep my son put a pillow under it to even the mattress up. We let these things go as we were tired after a long, hot day in London. Later on I discovered no plug for the bath and that the foam handwash dispenser by the basin wasn't working. At that point I went down to reception. the night staff was very polite and did offer to change our room but it was 11pm and I my 2 adult autistic sons were already settled in the room so I couldn't face the upheaval. He came upstairs and eventually left us with a bottle of the foam soap as it wasn't possible to get the dispenser to work. I later discovered that the dispenser for the shower was also not working. The corners in the bathroom weren't clean and the room generally had bits on the carpet etc. The next morning I informed the staff of all the issues and stated that I did not think that anyone should be put in that room until everything was rectified. the staff however, were polite and friendly.
- Osan53 (4/5): Poor just poor - It just overall poor standard from Travelodge. It just goes to show the difference between what Travelodge and the customer expect for £185. Travelodge thinks a room with dog hair , floor stains from what I would hate to think, an bits of someone's breakfast on the floor, no air con and a bathroom which needs some updating is worth that amount. But to me it is not!. I was given another room which was cleaner, but refused a refund on a breakfast box which I thought was awful. Beware.
- Jma18 (2/5): Very very noisy - No aircon so had to have the window open, it rained and everything near the window was soaking wet and the traffic noise was really bad, sirens, traffic and people walking by all night. We hardly had any sleep. Shower had no water pressure
- 311izzyb (10/5): Friendly Staff - I was very pleasantly surprised by the Travel Lodge Wandsworth. Very conveniently located and next door to the Royal Academy of Dance where I was doing a course. Friendly staff all very helpful and kind
- 693keym (2/5): Never again - Avoid like the plague. No ventilation or air con. The corridors smell and the air is stale. No air conditioning, and the windows don't open enough to let any fresh air in. A small desktop fan was provided which was impressive for the sheer amount of noise it made for the tiny amount of air it moved. It didn't do anything to help the situation, only to show that the hotel acknowledges there is a serious problem, but aren't going to do anything serious about it. We had to go and buy a larger fan but this barely made a dent in the conditions. The only thing that made the room feel bearable for a short time was using the bathroom, which had even less ventilation, was warmer, and had the added humidity of a bathroom. The heat and stale air drained us of so much energy it really put a dampener on the trip.
The room was a decent size and parking fairly reasonable for London, but there weren't enough sockets in the room, and the soap dispensers in the bathroom were broken and falling off the wall.
It could be an OK hotel with some TLC, but as it is avoid at all costs.
- liamrV6912CI (10/5): Splendid - Best travelodge yet , there where fana in the room aand the windos opened ,reeception. Team where great they let me get a late checkout at tge very last munute , and hsnded me a cold vmbottle of water upon departure
- tomasmM5999XV (10/5): Very helpful staff - We needed somewhere to store our luggage before and after our stay. Samantha was incredibly helpful and kind. Really made our trip that bit better.
- denise752 (8/5): A big thank you to Ade at Travel Lodge - This is a review for one particular staff member at the Travel Lodge, who went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I and made sure that we got a room. Ade is a one of a kind and any establishment would be lucky to have him. Thank you Ade for all your care and persistence!!!
- Z427XFdisappointed (2/5): Disappointing and very overpriced - The hotel smelled as we entered from the parking at the rear, where everyone hangs around and smokes. There is no complimentary wi-fi. in this day and age this is outrageous. I've stayed in nicer hotels in the former soviet union. The hotel resembles a prison. it is utterly charmless. we had to use a hand towel as a bath mat. the curtains were loosley hanging from the rail, and did not prevent the early summer sun from streaming through the windows early in the morning. All in all, for £165 a very disappointing experience, never to be repeated. AirBnB is a better option.
- Albatros14102 (10/5): I stayed for the tennis at Wimbledon. - Kimberley and Nilza looked after me and made my stay very enjoyable.
I will come back here again lots of times.
Thank you girls for looking after me.
- P4607RHstephanieo (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - CRIME AND NO HELP - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We had our car broken into, windows smashed and the help/support from the hotel was non existent and appalling. The safety of this hotel is not good and the service from the staff is disgusting. Not help or response and unprofessional. Yes it's a 3 star but you'd expect a hotel chain such as travel lodge to have basic help in need of a situation like that.
- ChrisJoice (8/5): Excellent location and real value for London short stays. - Provided me with all I needed for a short stopover in London. Close to Thames walkways and food outlets as well as excellent transport links. Good value.
- annmariej922 (10/5): Helpful - We where so happy when the staff could offer accommodation for 8 people after we got scammed by and air b and b they where very helpful in this difficult situation
- 35annemariej (10/5): Our stay at Travel lodge London Battersea - We were greeted in a very friendly and professional manner by Kimberley at the Travelodge London Battersea. After a tiring journey , Kimberley immediately put us at our ease and booked us into rooms close to each other - this was much appreciated . She dealt with us on a number of ocassions in a speedy , professional and courteous manner. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her and she was very informative during our encounters with her . Thank you to her - from the Jones family from up North 😊
- danielatroia (2/5): Never again! Expensive rip off! - Awful smelly lift not working we had to go up to 4th floor with no lift dirty windows and awful shower! Noise from loft from outside cars and no air conditioning!
- Z9283GVjackieb (10/5): Good value hotel - On reading a few reviews we were a bit apprehensive about this hotel , but had already booked .
But thankfully we didn’t have to be , on arriving we had a lovely welcome by the dear Kimberley . She couldn’t do enough for us .
The room was larger than expected. It was a sweltering afternoon, the curtains had been drawn to keep the heat out and the fan left going to keep the room cool.
The room was very clean . The bathroom had large fluffy towels . The bed and pillows very comfy
As we were at Battersea , we were a bit concerned about the noise at night but not a problem even with the windows open .
We stayed for 2 nights and all the other staff we met were as friendly and as welcoming as Kimberley.
Would certainly stay here again
- iananddawn366 (10/5): Staff - The staff are brilliant especially Samantha and nilza also elana and the cleaning team nothing any trouble for anybody 😀
- CGL53 (6/5): Avoid during warm weather, and noisy - Far too hot during summer, no air conditioning. Fan makes no difference and too loud outside to leave windows open due to traffic. Overall the hotel was clean.
- 685christian1971 (2/5): Formal Complaint – Unacceptable and below standard Stay at Travelodge Battersea (Room 204) - Re – Final Comment on Guest Experience
Based on this experience, I can confidently say I will never stay at any Travelodge property worldwide again. The Battersea location was a disgrace to the hospitality industry, and it’s clear that serious internal failures exist at both the operational and management levels.
The condition of the property, the lack of service, and the dismissive attitude from staff were completely unacceptable. If this is representative of your brand, then I strongly urge your executive leadership to take immediate corrective action—starting with a thorough performance review of the General Manager and local staff, who appear either incapable or unwilling to uphold even the most basic hospitality standards.
Unless decisive action is taken, these issues will continue to damage your brand reputation and result in lost customer trust and loyalty. I’ve said my piece—and now you’ve been clearly warned just how far your guest experience has fallen.
Regards .

- Matthewbingham (4/5): First time - Last time! - Run down hotel with poor reception service, poor amenities, old small room, dirty bathroom, bugs in room on arrival which I had remover. Uncomfortable pillows only good thing was a comfy bed. Will not be staying here ever again. This is a poor example of Travelodge.
- 520grahams (2/5): Computer says not to people with disabilities - Well this is not really a review about my stay as not in there yet.
We arrived a little early actually dreading staying based on the last stay a few months ago. But it was booked so.
Got to ask can I please have one of the 4 rooms. I have a disability and it would be helpful.
Well that be 15£ but if you can wait till 2, no charge... It's 1:40...
15£ for 20min ? Really?
Yes err well actually 3pm. Humm
I explained again.
Response was you can leave your bags in the locker here...
No I need to...
Any fair play the lady went and asked the manager...
Who computer says no. But you can leave your bags in our locker and head off.
No I need to err embarrassed use the loo, connect to my disability.
The other chaps are going off I'm staying.
Response I can see what you are trying to do here.... obviously this could mean she can see I need the room or as I suspect you are trying to blag the room early.
Well the other s have go into town
I went to MDs and am now waiting for 3pm whilst watching there staff stand at the back door whilst having a ciggy.
