Guest Reviews
- Shankp1998 (8/5): A night stay in Manchester - A good central location near the train station, restaurants and shops! Lovely nights stay with a bar opened til late and then the choice of breakfast which is good! Mike and Lisa was very friendly and helpful at breakfast.
- V7186JBjimp (10/5): Friendly staff - Had a lovely breakfast with some Vegan sausages and the staff were very helpful and friendly thank you Mike and Lisa
- 461archiel (10/5): Great hotel with very friendly staff - Stayed here years ago and always find it a convenient location for a city visit. Booked my room with breakfast, as I hate wandering to find somewhere else to eat. The breakfast area was very clean and all the food displayed well and there was plenty of fresh food to choose from. I particularly liked the invitation to have warm croissants or pancakes warmed by Mike personally, so as not to burn them in the toaster. Mike and Lisa were very welcoming to everyone this morning. Credit also to the reception staff too, who were also very friendly working reception, bar and restaurant areas, great multitasking.
- katiepX7509PC (10/5): Breakfast at the travelodge! - Mike and Lisa was so good! Informative and helpful
- michellemG5230LD (10/5): Great location and good prices, breakfast fab. Mike and Lisa were great in restaurant. Room spacious 203 ideal for families. - Fantastic location and perfect for shopping.
- UrbanFoxy (10/5): Very clean and welcoming hotel - Great location and very friendly and welcoming staff. Well managed check in, even though there were quite a few people waiting for the alloted time. Whole hotel very clean, reception and bar area very open, airy, modern and clean. Very comfortable room, bed very comfortable, room large and very clean. Had everything you need. Very good value. Good security with key card entry to lifts and rooms and deadbolt on the door.
- U4151JJroberth (10/5): Great greatness - Lovely, great location, great price, great breakfast great staff great greatness
- craigmZ7049JX (10/5): Clean & friendly - Clean room and very friendly staff. When we rang down to see if they had a hairdryer, it was brought up to room within two minutes by lady on reception. Mike & Lisa at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Water pressure in shower was a bit low - but, thats just a preference! Great staff.
- N7249LYisabelf (10/5): Great location for shops, bars etc etc - Always have a great stay at this hotel as the staff are welcoming and friendly. Great location for shops, restaurants, bars etc
- MyReviewForYouToView (8/5): Car Parking - Quiet enough for a city centre hotel and close enough to the centre. Some stains on the carpet and bath not the cleanest but wasn't too bad for a one night stay.
Car park a nightmare to find - don't follow Sat Nav or Website directions:
Go up Victoria Bridge Street (premier inn will be on your right on the corner) towards the Selfridges Car Park, follow up to the traffic lights and turn right onto Deansgate, then turn right at the next set of traffic lights down Blackfriars Street (the Treehouse hotel will be on your right corner) follow the road down and Travelodge will be on your right. Turn right straight after the Travelodge into the Car Park which is located under the hotel.
- Kayliegh27 (10/5): Good Friday breakfast - Amazing breakfast service on Good Friday 8-11 the sausages are lovely and my daughter enjoyed the vegan sausages .
Vicky , Kyomi and Lidia were wonderful and greeted us with a smile and couldn’t do enough for us . Prompt and pleasant service .
Asked about allergies for our son and got a handy little allergy chart too .
- paulwS489TQ (10/5): Great value for money in a great location - Stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t fault the place, staff were friendly and the room was spacious and fit the bill. Didn’t experience the food side of the hotel decided to venture out for meals but restaurant always looked busy when passing reception at various times of the day during the stay.
- cubababe8 (4/5): Go elsewhere - We stayed at this hotel with friends for a few days to see the city. The rooms were a good size but not cleaned at all during our three day stay. Towels were changed and that was it. The hotel is in an enviable position the City Centre, but is let down by the poor upkeep of the hotel.
- U1814OWmichaelp (10/5): Glorious knickerbocker glory - No review of this great hotel would be complete without mentioning the terrific contribution made by the catering staff I know there are others behind the scenes but Hazel Jackie and Karen absolutely superb the customer facing skills are excellent and they make everybody feel that they are the most important person in the room my favourite meal of all was one of the meal deals where I got to enjoy a scrumptious steak and ale pie with mashed potatoes and beans followed by a dessert of the most well-presented knickerbocker glory complete with cream and cherries on top
- Maps59472909239 (10/5): 5 star experience - I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Travelodge Manchester Central and genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and well-organised.
The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located for getting around Manchester. The rooms were clean, modern, and had everything i needed for a relaxing stay. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, which made for a great night’s sleep.
What really made the experience stand out, though, was the exceptional service — especially from Ryan, the manager. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, always approachable, friendly, and incredibly professional. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, and it made a huge difference to my trip.
All the staff were welcoming and helpful, creating a great atmosphere throughout the hotel. Nothing felt like too much trouble.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manchester. A truly 5-star experience — thank you to Ryan and the team!
- vanessaaX3759GJ (10/5): Wonderful staff! - Wonderful staff from the reception to the breakfast hall. My first ever visit in this branch and would be returning again for sure. Highly recommended!
- Experience297858 (8/5): Lovely stay - A very nice stay with good sized rooms and a lovely break thanks to the breakfast team! Shame the doors were so loud of the rooms.
- pelumio643 (6/5): My experience - Noise level is very good it is not too loud and the music is just the right volume. Food is amazing. I was given information from Mike Donna and Vic who were of great help and very polite.
- 43zeeshanm (10/5): The review of the breakfast system at Travelodge - Beautiful experience with good customer service kind and helpful staff.
- W4503QRwillg (10/5): Good stay - Clean hotel rooms, good breakfast
Team were great especially Owens, Lisa, Mike and Zenish
- marktN6894MB (10/5): Breakfast with Mike - Solely about Mike! Really great service from Mike in the cafe for breakfast. Very informative and professional. A job well done. 👍
- jonPaton (10/5): Great place for a visit to Manchester - Staff very helpful and friendly. Reception staff were great.
Breakfast was really good Zmike and Zlisa very polite and helpful
- GavinMCR4Ever (10/5): My 2nd Home. One Love Manchester - Another bright and professional welcome to Manchester by the incredibly kind, courteous and friendly staff at the Travelodge. Theres nowhere else in Manchester Id rather stay. Cant beat the breakfast and chats with Mike and Lisa who never fail to accomdatw breakfast in the mornings and an overall great start to the day!
- E4903RAsarahd (10/5): Lovely friendly team - We had a really friendly and pleasant stay. It was perfect for a quick trip and ideal for popping into the city — about a 15–20 minute walk if you don’t mind stretching your legs.
A special mention to Nick at breakfast, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, a great, convenient option for a short stay.
- Mattyb2081 (10/5): Would recommend - Great hotel, room was clean, car park was clearly signposted and that staff helped with payment and made sure I registered at the desk. Not sure what the persons name was but a man on the bar made me an excellent coffee at breakfast time. Would highly recommend for a shopping trip to Manchester as it’s practically on the doorstep of everything!
- 531ieuanj (2/5): Parking will try to steal your money! Travelodge should address this. - Despite paying for parking as a guest when staying here over night, Travelodge Manchester's car park operators sent me an £85 parking fine. After two appeals, it was dropped "as a gesture of goodwill". It was dropped because it was clear I paid my parking and was a guest at the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here again.
- Safari763268 (10/5): Feedback - Mike and Lisa were amazing. Very friendly, helpful and considerate. Great breakfast too.
- Curious74680 (10/5): Top stay, brealfast unreal - Lovely stay, breakfast top class, brilliant service from Mike and Lisa, thanks a mill
- sammiscotti (10/5): Great hosts - Great location, , the breakfast was amazing, what a fabulous host mike was! Very welcoming and helpful, even warmed our pancakes for us, what an asset to the restaurant side of the hotel, top marks to the chef lisa.. we will be back, just for the kindness and hospitality of these guys 🥰
- Celinepinter (10/5): Lifted my day! - Vic was attentive, interested and I loved the sausages from Mike
- Sightseer37752618969 (8/5): The best overall experience - The room is spacious and has plenty of room for three people.
The atmosphere is quite which I like.
The location is convenient for where we want to in Manchester.
The service is good and the staff are welcoming and friendly and it was easy to check in.
- pearsons2 (6/5): Short break - Great location fantastic staff warm and welcoming breakfast was fab they replenished the hot food often which was nice and fresh we got room on the top floor which was ok a big room took a while to warm up but the tv so small you can hardly see it also not a great nights sleep people come back from 2am to after 5am being noisy doors slamming talking etc then the bed what can I say the pillows were terrible and the bed if you turned over it woke you up it was so uncomfortable and noisy don’t think I return
- charlottehall_uk (10/5): Excellent, comfortable stay - We arrived to a very warm welcome from Reception staff. Every interaction with hotel personnel was positive, with everyone trying to ensure we had everything that we needed.
A big shout out to Mike (and his colleague Lisa) in the dining room. The breakfast area and tables were cleaned promptly and the food looked inviting. Mike greeted everyone warmly as they arrived and showed genuine interest in his guests. It was nice to see a man who enjoys his job. Mike and Lisa are a credit to the hotel.
- 424shanelleb (10/5): Incredible experience - This was our second time staying in this Travelodge and the service has been exceptional both time. All the staff were incredible especially Stacey and Vicky who were wonderful and very helpful, made us feel so welcome on the Friday and Saturday. Ryan was lovely and helpful Aswell as Mark and Lisa for a great breakfast and amazing service mark make sure our experience was great. The rooms are great, very spacious and the most comfiest beds. Really good location so many things are walkable. Overall the hotel and experience was amazing and how great the staff were made it even better. Will be returning again soon.
Massive thank you again to Stacey, Vicky, Ryan , Mark and Lisa <3
- Niamhnogsy (10/5): Great stay - Had a great time during our stay. All the staff were lovely and very accomodating inclysing mike and lisa. Great facilities, bar and food avaolble ubtil 5am, 24 hour reception and lovely breakfast add on
- gustosv (10/5): Really nice Breakfast 🥞 - Mike and Lisa are the best breakfast buffet waiters I've seen in a very long time. Thanks for everything ❤️🙏
- O5064SZamyl (10/5): Positive stay. Great breakfast - Great location, rooms sufficient for what we needed just could do with a more powerful shower. Breakfast was lovely. Mike & Lisa lovely, especially Mike, great service and very friendly.
- keaustin30 (10/5): Emergency response 🙂 - Just to say thank you very much for how you dealt with us following an unfortunate heating breakdown at Upper Brooke Street and transferring us to Central . Particular thanks to Mandy on the desk at Central who helped us with taxis and Uber reinbursement. Also with, as it turned out, a lovely complimentary breakfast the next day which means on a future stay we will be less likely to go to Spoons! 🙂 Well done Travelodge ; big fans.
- KeyLeeds (10/5): Great - Great room, really clean.
Perfect location
Excellent breakfast and great afternoon from Mike and Jane thank you.
Will defo return
- patfV3067VP (10/5): Lovely stay - Location great, very clean, staff were very welcoming and professional, thanks to Mike and Jane for looking after us at breakfast, it was really lovely
- S5228TZlaurab (10/5): Lovely time - Room was lovely food was good felt very safe here. Opens mile and ja e made our breakfast a nice experience
- 277mitcht (10/5): Travelodge - rooms are nice and clean and breakfast is good, served by Mike and Jane, very sociable and friendly.
- Jet781034 (10/5): Amazing staff and experience. - We arrived on the 11th March, at around 3.30pm for a one night stay, the person who checked us in was really friendly. Later that evening we decided to have food at the bar area, then after our show that night we had some drinks in the bar too and the staff were amazing, so lovely and helpful. I don’t normally do reviews, but I figured most people only do them for bad experiences and every member of the team we met on our stay was so good, that I thought I needed to do a nice review. Even the cleaner we met the next morning on our way to breakfast, was really nice to us, there is definitely a culture of being a nice and kind person there!
- 918AmandaM918 (10/5): Exceptional value - Excellent experience. Stayed on level 7 overlooking the canal. The room was huge. The bathroom had a bath and an over the bath shower. The bed was comfy. The place was clean. Tea coffee and hot chocolate on the complementary tray and 2 mini kit kats were great. Staff were lovely. Hotel is central. Can't complain about anything.
- BeautyandtheBeast666 (6/5): Fantastic location - terrible room due to noise - Do not stay in 613!
Other rooms may be fine...this one was shocking.
Location: cannot fault it. Close to Victoria station, 20 minute walk to Piccadilly station or use the free bus, Bus 2, from outside the station.
Clean room that was very spacious.
Dirty cheap on a Sunday night! Less than £30.
Had hardly any sleep due to persistent load bangs, and an over enthusiastic air conditioning unit.
The bangs were from doors on the corridor, but also may have been from just the bedrooms. Our bathroom door was exceptionally loud to close, so refrained from doing it in the night. It was constant.
Another note - the shower pressure was extremely low. May be better on lower floors.
So overall, a mixed review!
- Islandman1953 (10/5): Ideal location and facilities - Needed to be in Central Manchester to see a son et lumiere display at the cathedral. Central Travelodge ideally located and with car parking. Clean room and comfortable bed, view over river with wildlife. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of local cafes and eateries. Reasonable value for money.
- stuartwG1955SY (10/5): Good breakfast - Good stay, very nice breakfast. Server Mike well knowledgeable and took pride in his breakfast took. Food cooked to perfection by Lisa who also helped in the fod section.
- Z6753RCmikes (10/5): Helpful staff - Staying here for the weekend. Must say the staff Mike and Lisa who helped us sorting out breakfast are very helpful. Thank you Mike and Lisa
- baronv265 (10/5): Clean, functional, friendly and good on the wallet. - Only stayed for one night. Friendly staff, nice and clean, functional room in which we had no issues with. One thing I noticed was the hotel smelt beautiful, especially in the corridors and rooms for some reason. We had breakfast, was a typical hotel buffet style breakfast. Breakfast staff were super friendly, dining area was nice and clean. Would stay here again with no hesitations.
- lauradZ2184IL (10/5): Convenient and comfy - Big comfy room, very helpful breakfast staff, convenient location
- RiaMillington (10/5): Great value stay - Comfy bed, great location & great breakfast. Perfect place to stay for a work trip. Mike & Lisa are super friendly & provided great service. Thank you!
- Kazzie-D (10/5): Great dog friendly hotel - perfect for a comfortable and friendly city break!! - We have stayed here twice already and are staying again next month! I really like this hotel - the staff are really lovely and welcoming, especially Mandy, nothing is too much trouble.
The first time we stayed the bar and restaurant were being refurbished, but the second time we had a meal in there and really enjoyed it! Great food and great service, would definitely recommend it.
The second time we stayed we took our two dogs (who also had a friendly welcome!) The room we had was very comfortable, nice and clean and carpeted (we have stayed in some hotels with our dogs where the floors are hard or laminate which isn’t very cosy).
The hotel is quite quiet and the location is great, it’s not too busy but it is within easy reach of the city centre. We were lucky we were visiting in January during the week as got a really good deal on the price, and the same again next month.
Thanks again to Mandy and the team for looking after us, we’re looking forward to staying with you again! :)
- belindamS3836SR (10/5): Visiting Family. - We had a lovely stay again our 4th time staff really friendly thanks to Owen and Mike at breakfast time made sure we had everything we needed. Hotel really clean and handy for shops, bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again thanks to all.
- Sian0705 (10/5): A great location . - We booked this as we were heading to Bridgewater hall for the evening . The staff are what really makes this stay a good place to stay . Check in was a quick and efficient . We were on the top floor and had pre booked our room. The room was clean with a coffee machine and a couple of kitkat . The bath in the bathroom was yellowing and a bit dated.
The location could not have been better we were close to many places to eat and perfect for a bit of shopping . We parked underneath for £10 for 24 hr.Bargain when you are right in the centre.
We came in the wrong way so had to go round with it being a 1 way system . Will remember that next time we stay . From the car park there is an entrance which takes you to the lift to go to reception. Considering it was a city centre there was not an issue with noise.
We had had a special offer for breakfast so did as an add on . The breakfast was fantastic, as was the person who was helping the guests . I didn’t catch his name but he was friendly , knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome .
We did a bit of shopping before heading home.
We enjoyed our stay and it might be basic but the staff were outstanding..
- Kerrievogt (10/5): Great for a weekend - Great location and quiet hotel, despite being in the centre of it all. All the staff are so lovely too. Breakfast is fab, this was also made enjoyable by the staff, Mike and Jane especially, incredibly helpful, approachable and welcoming. They made it worth going for brekkie tbh!
We aren't fans of the city but this hotel and staff made us feel more than comfortable here for our long weekend away.
- Road50036166854 (10/5): Hotel clean, staff friendly, breakfast lovely! - Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, Mike Jane was friendly and couldn't do any more to help, food was always coming out fresh and there was a good variety. Would recommend.
- Ourtravels_2202 (6/5): Adequate stay - The location is amazing
The atmosphere and staff are incredible! Some of the kindest people I've ever met especially Mike and Jane, and the lady at check in (around 10:30pm feb 20th) and the lady at the service desk this morning (Feb 21st)
The room is fine, it's a little lack luster, the shower is either too rough or too soft, and it's tiny, the TV is so far away from the bed and is super tiny, but regardless it's a big room and good value for money maybe?
The room is very clean, the bath however is not, it's stained and had black spots on it unfortunately
The noise level is fine, literally barely heard anything except doors closing but that's not a bother, rather safe heavy doors and flimsy ones you know
Erm we were missing a hairdryer and we don't have an iron either or ironing board which is a shame, the TV is small, but the tea and coffee station is nice
- emmasO5457ME (10/5): Excellent service by Mike & Jane. Food was lovely and the service was so welcoming and friendly. Mike was very helpful x - We were made to feel welcome and Mike was extremely kind and helpful to show us where everything was. The food was lovely. The service was excellent.
- katieh622 (8/5): Family stay. - Great location, walking distance to town, big family room. Friendly staff on reception. Nice breakfast, Mike and Jane were really helpful. Great value hotel. Would definitely stay again.
- stevesS3814VF (10/5): Economical hotel that punches well above its weight. - I stayed in one of the premium rooms on the top floor and have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the fact it had a bath. The bed was comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. I was also pleased to see that the hotel operates a 24 hour reception.
The only comment I have on the room is that there are no power sockets by the bed. I always travel with an extension cord however so this was not an issue.
I opted for the optional breakfast on the two mornings I was there and have to say that for the price you won't find a better hotel breakfast. I prefer fried eggs of which there were none but the scrambled were pleasant enough.
The staff (Mike and Jane) were truly fabulous - very professional and attentive - and made my breakfast painless. In fact all the staff I encountered were polite, pleasant and attentive making my stay a pleasant one.
If you're looking for an economical hotel in Manchester, you can't go wrong with this Travelodge.
- lisahU3248TJ (10/5): Excellent breakfast Service - Mike was super friendly an efficient. He could not do enough for us, nothing was too much hassle for him. Jane was also very helpful.
- lucyj733 (10/5): Excellent location and Excellent breakfast by Mike - Lovely hotel really good location...breakfast was really good served by Mike and Jane with a smile and a lovely chat they noth are an assest here! Will most definitely visit again.
- V5680RNsarahf (10/5): Good breakfast - Nice clean room and great breakfast. Mike and Vicky were very attentive during breakfast with Mike running round making sure everyone is ok and Vicky keeping everything topped up.
- ohmsbelievert (10/5): Wonderful stay ! - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Manchester city centre. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and main attractions.
A special mention goes to the staff, especially Mike and Vicky, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Their friendliness and willingness to help really made the experience even better.
I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when visiting Manchester! Thank you again
- shireecew (10/5): Great hotel, awesome staff. - Fabulous stay at this hotel. We arrived around 10.30pm and Mandy was so welcoming. She gave great advice on how we could get to our destination the next day. We saw her again in the morning, before breakfast at 09.30. She created a lovely atmosphere and was just as welcoming.
Breakfast was amazing. Everything needed for a great start to the day. So much choice and expertly cooked. Mike and Vicky couldn't be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and with 2 children with us, aged 8 and 11, this can be a challenge sometimes!
The room was huge, overlooking the river and had everything we needed. Lovely and clean too.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great room, fantastic value and awesome staff.
- Lkdy (8/5): Breakfast definitely worth the visit - Excellent food, good variety of hot & cold, and staff were very helpful. Mike was extremely helpful, friendly and chatty. Vicky too. Thank you
- S9993WGmartinb (10/5): Superb Stay - Travelodge Blackfriars is ideally located in central Manchester and the room rate we paid is frankly unbeatable for a family room (1x double, 2x singles). I'd have loved to have taken advantage of the cafe and bar open until 5am, but after a days work, a two hour drive and late check-in, all I wanted to do was lie down and take advantage of a very comfy bed instead! (it's age!!)
We were greeted by Mandy on reception who was supremely helpful and as cheerful at 22.30 as she was at 9.30 the following morning. All you can breakfast for a shade over a tenner pp (£1 extra per child) is well worthwhile. We were superbly attended to by Mike and Vicky, two people who clearly take a great deal of pride in what they're doing and for whom nothing is too much trouble. Even as I sit here finishing off breakfast I can hear Mandy wishing people well for their day as they check out.
This is what service looks like. I can't recommend it highly enough.
- H5474PCellieh (10/5): Lovely 18th - Great room and breakfast with Mike and vicky was lovely
- 364lucyh (8/5): Good stay and great service! - Great service and really friendly staff. Lovely breakfast too, kids loved it! Mike couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive.
- ianbF6480NU (10/5): Helpful staff - Very friendly staff, Mike & Vicki on breakfast were exceptional! Great location, clean room
- Jackj200126 (8/5): Stayed here for a night - Parking was tight but was very cheap. Light was hanging off ceiling but moved rooms and lady at reception apologised. She was very happy and couldn’t do enough for you.
- Goldenkeysjimmy (10/5): Team were outstanding - Really love the refurb of the rooms, lobby and restaurant.
The location was fantastic and walking distance to town centre.
Mike, Jane and liddia at front desk were above and beyond. Very welcoming, polite and professional.
- 756keyanb (10/5): Excellent atmosphere and good breakfast - The location of the hotel is ideal for for access to Deansgate, the room was warm and comfortable. When we came down for breakfast Mike gave us a very warm greeting and helped us settle down to a lovely breakfast by clearly explaining where we could find everything we needed. Jane was making sure that the food was well topped up and the atmosphere in the restaurant was just right for us to enjoy our food.
Only slight frustration was when we were planning our trip and we couldn't find clear enough directions to find the car park which we later learned it's best to approach from Victoria bridge street direction and round on the one way system with the car park entrance situated on the right just past the hotel in Manchester central
- 759jaden (10/5): Business stay - Comfortable and clean rooms, great service(Vicky & Stacey), and a convenient location. Everything was well organised and made for an enjoyable stay. Value for money is perfect for what you get aswell!
- Camper734372 (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Staff and location great. Some of the facilities like the bathroom could do a little upgrade but overall enjoyed our stay.
- 380kirstyt (8/5): Great city centre stay - Location for AO Arena and shopping is fantastic. Lovely premises and rooms. Parking downstairs is great and reasonable price.
- V2666IFcoreyp (10/5): Cosy and warm and relaxing - Vicki and Jane were such friendly staff, they were very warm and welcoming with a smile and they directed me to where the food and Coffee was, (the most important part of any person's day). The food itself was really nice too.
Thanks guys :)
- jamesrW1168IV (8/5): Good budget option - Quieter location (for a travelodge) but well located and room was in good nick. Nice staff - Mike and Jane were partic helpful.
- Amie_L_1992 (10/5): Great stay - Fantastic stay clean rooms with very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast is so worth the price I always look forward to it and it has never let me down
- Bel_Bowl (10/5): Great hotel - Fabulous location, great value for money and friendly staff. Thank you to Mike who served us at breakfast and made us feel so welcome. He was great!
- O7645JTgregm (2/5): Bully of a Secirity Guard - Very disappointed with the experience I had this weekend. The security guard at the hotel entrance refused me entry despite me being a registered guest, deliberately stood in my way at the door, and spoke in an unnecessarily rude and dismissive manner. What made the situation even worse were the homophobic remarks that were directed at me, which were completely unacceptable and unprofessional. He also made repeated comments toward us on several occasions whenever we passed by, creating an uncomfortable and hostile atmosphere.
On a previous occasion, the same guard also left a lone female guest outside and refused her entry while she was trying to come into the hotel to meet me, which raised serious concerns about guest safety and professionalism. A simple situation could have been handled politely, but instead it left a very negative impression. I hope management looks into staff conduct so future guests are treated with the respect they deserve.
- P2425XItracyg (8/5): Travelodge Manchester Arndale - Although the bathrooms need an upgrade. The beds were really comfortable and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Especially Mike and Jane who couldn’t do enough for us. Great location near everything

Many thanks.
