Maureen (8/5): Would have enjoyed our stay more except for sewage smells & outside noise. - The location to old town and easy flat proximity to the train station. Lift was a big plus. We had the “London” room which was very quirky. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a quirky wall fridge that is in photos. Over the 3 whole days we were there, we had horrendous sewage smells coming from the bathroom. It made me feel quite nauseous at times. This needs to be addressed promptly as the quirky room with balcony is very cute to stay in. At night the noise from the street is very loud even through closed windows. Breakfast is very basic with cereal, croissants & sweet cakes only on offer. No fruit, ham or cheeses offered.

Great location, amazing facilities, almost felt like I had my own apartment, fabulous host who was there every morning for breakfast and gave some travel tips. FunkyPanda (9/5): - - Great location - within walking distance to the train station, historic center, port, and seafront - The room was spacious and very nicely decorated, with a cozy feel - Breakfast options were decent and available throughout the day - Tea, coffee, a water filter, and a kettle were always available, which was very convenient A small but very appreciated detail: on our first morning, the espresso machine wasn’t working. We messaged the host on WhatsApp, and within a few hours it had already been replaced with a new one. A very thoughtful and prompt response! - On our last night, we overlapped with a larger group that occupied the other three rooms in the apartment. They arrived late and were quite noisy. Obviously this was not the host's fault, but the walls are rather thin, so we could hear sounds from the neighboring bathroom as if it were in our own room, so you might want to take this into account - WiFi had no internet connection, hence it was unusable - Mini fridge in the room was really noisy so we had to switch it off - The window and balcony door blinds couldn’t be lifted and stay up. This was a minor inconvenience, as it would have been nice to have more natural light, but definitely not a deal-breaker
Pascal (9/5): Perfecte uitvalsbasis Amalfikust/Salerno - Valentina is ontzettend behulpzaam. Ze maakt elke ochtend het ontbijt klaar en vraagt of je iets nodig hebt voor de kamer of deze schoongemaakt wil hebben. Een ochtend moesten we erg vroeg weg en heeft ze heel lief wat eten meegegeven in een zakje voor onderweg. Salerno is ook erg leuk als stad en uitvalsbasis.
Johanna Daniela (10/5): Encantador lugar y muy bien ubicado - Excelente ubicación, la dueña muy simpática y hablaba varios idiomas, hacía el desayuno ella. Muy limpio y hermosa decoración. Tiene en la habitación una carpeta con toda la I formación necesaria. Que no haya parking en el hotel ya que es muy difícil aparcar. Te recomiendan parking pero luego en el parking te cobran más caro. No ente dimos como poder usar el netflix ya que no estaba habilitado el idioma.

Urvish (4/5): Not up to the mark, loud noise from street and next room , bitten by bugs in the room. - Location from train and ferry stop under 15 min walk. Something from the bed or mattress bites me, a tick, bed bugs or mosquito for two days, reported to the host but no solution, check-up or cleaning/hoover task done, no apology at all and no information or next step provided after sending bug bites pictures to the host. Also, it’s NOT soundproof as mentioned in the description, the loud noise when water runs from the next room, by the main road or street and constant loud noise of vehicles and bothering ambulance and fire brigade sounds unable to sleep peacefully The facility mentioned on the description page is not accurate the room is definitely NOT soundproof, unaware or not find any Netflix, safety deposit box and there is no proper wardrobe or closet, no exhaust fan in the shower, breakfast is below average, just ready-made and heat-up croissants, much better options are available just a five-minute walking distance.

Tommy (3/5): I would avoid. The staff were nice but bad experience. - The staff were friendly and welcoming The stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. There was a very strong smell coming from the bathroom that spread throughout the entire room, making it difficult to relax. I was told it was due to rain affecting the sewer system, but the smell was there even on dry days and resembled rotten eggs. I stayed in the London room, and noise was a significant issue. The walls are extremely thin and I could clearly hear people coming and going throughout the night, which made it hard to get any proper sleep. The staff were kind enough to offer to wash a couple of my favourite white T-shirts, which I appreciated and was happy to pay for. However, they used bleach which unfortunately caused large orange stains and ruined both items. While I understand the property is very affordable, I would personally avoid staying here again.

Stanza Italy molto curata nei dettagli, il riscaldamento ben funzionante. Un bel profumo di pulito entrando negli ambienti. Lenka (6/5): - Lokalita blízko centra. Komunikácia s personálom bola veľmi slabá, žiadna. Písali sme dva maily ohľadom skorého check-outu, skúšali sme ich kontaktovať cez chat na Bookingu, no bez odpovede. Raňajky mali byť o 8:00, o 8:00 neboli pripravené. Tak sme odišli bez raňajok na trajekt na Amalfi.
AlexaSch (3/5): Enttäuschend / Insekten (Raum London) - Der erste Eindruck war gut, sehr zentral, alles hat mit dem self checkin gut gepasst, das Wifi-PW war falsch (obwohl scheinbar bekannt), aber Info dazu wurde mir auf Rückfrage von der Gastgeberin übermittelt. Der Balkon von Zimmer London blickt aufs Meer. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Rundherum gibt es viele Geschäfte, der Bahnhof ist nahe. Zimmer sind mit vielen Details eingerichtet. Die Strasse ist stark befahren und immer laut, auch in der Nacht. Frühstück würde ich nicht mehr hier nehmen (alles verpackt), Croissants werden auf Wunsch aufgebacken. Ich empfehle in eines der vielen Cafés gehen. Besonders für early birds, Frühstück war ab 8.30. In den Fugen im Bad ist etwas Schimmel. Teilweise riecht es stark aus dem Kanal. Es könnte etwas sauberer sein. ABER das Schlimmste - ich untersuche immer alle Zimmer - speziell die Betten - erste Nacht (scheinbar) ok, am 2. Abend tauchten Bettwanzen aus dem grauen Stoff-Bett auf, habe die Nacht dann sitzend auf dem Metallsessel verbracht. Das ist inakzeptabel habe es umgehend gemeldet. Musste meine Nachtwäsche entsorgen (zur Sicherheit) und daheim alle Sicherheitsvorkehrungen treffen, da ich nicht alles entsorgen wollte. Leider steht das über allem und deshalb kann ich die ganzen positiven Dingen nicht mitbewerten und nicht weiter empfehlen.

Jens (9/5): - Rosanna hat die Zimmer mit viel Kreativität und Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Matratze war neu und sehr angenehm, auch die Dusche war wunderbar. Die köstlichen Croissants und Muffins backt Rosanna selbst. Bahnhof und Fähranleger sind in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen - ideal für Ausflüge entlang der Amalfiküste oder nach Pompeji.

Martina (9/5): - La camera era molto bella e caratteristica. Lo staff davvero amichevole. Ci hanno fatto trovare una bellissima sorpresa per San Valentino e il nostro anniversario, che avevamo comunicato via messaggio. La colazione è all'italiana, dolce con caffè e succhi. Un bellissimo soggiorno in una bellissima struttura! Un piccolo appunto personale è il letto, molto (per noi) troppo morbido e un po' affossato, ma sono gusti personali. Metterei qualche luce in più, perché la stanza rimane abbastanza scura, ma sempre preferenza personale.

Good Wi-Fi speed when on the right wifi - not the one in the confirmation email. Mini fridge was noisy, had to switch it off. Some Road noise but in the centre of the city.
mark (9/5): - Let me state at the outset that my accommodation was changed by the host due to problems with the room I booked. It was upgraded to the Lubea Apartment, Vinto House,which was frankly amazing in a great location in the centro storico. Beautifully furnished and appointed with wooden beams on the ceiling, a separate kitchen area downstairs and upstairs there was a very comfortable lounge as well as the bedroom and bathroom .Windows in both rooms looking out into the narrow alley. Fantastic. Nothing. Close to perfection.

Although we did not spend much time there, it did tick all our boxed - location being the main one. Rosanna, our host, was super friendly and helpful - she arranged our transportation from and to the Salerno airport which was 1 less thing to worry about. Thank you for a very pleasant stay 😊

De Santo (5/5): Ospiti indesiderati - La colazione....e la posizione Ho soggiornato nella camera London...due notti La seconda notte mi son trovata un animaletto camminare sul collo...UNA CIMICE DA LETTO. Ho controllato il cuscino del letto e c erano vari abitanti. Evitate questa camera!!! Mi aspettavo di avere una parte di rimborso ma mi è stato chiesta anche la tassa di soggiorno...pagata chiaramente perche io sono UA SIGNORA!!! . La signira della colazione è stata anche informata...mostrandole delle foto degli abitanti del letto ma evidentemente x loro è cosa normale visto che appena ho lasciaro la camera gia è stara occupata da un altro ospite....ignaro!! Poi mi è stato anche chiesto di fare una bella recensione🤣🤣 ECCOLA!!!

carmelo (7/5): Buona struttura in centro a Salerno - Mi chiamo Arianna, ho soggiornato in questa struttura dal 2 al 4 Gennaio. Ho apprezzato l' arredamento della struttura, molto curato ed originale ed anche il livello di pulizia delle camere. La colazione è buona, la signora Rosanna porta tutte le mattine cornetti freschi. Inoltre la posizione della struttura è ottima per visitare il centro storico. Le camere che affacciano sulla via risultano essere un po' rumorose. Inserirei inoltre un illuminazione un po' più forte nelle stanze, anche se forse è una scelta stilistica lasciare le luci in po' soffuse. Inoltre il materasso della camera Italy avrebbe bisogno di una revisione in quanto risulta essere un po' affossato. La signora Rosanna si è comunque dimostrata molto disponibile nell'offrirci un cambio di camera.

francesco (5/5): Non confortevole… - La posizione, l’arredo della stanza. Il deposito bagagli. Non mi piace fare recensioni negative e spero che il servizio migliori per non deludere le aspettative dei prossimi ospiti. Peccato, la stanza era bella ma il 2 gennaio abbiamo preferito dormire senza coperta perché procurava prurito per la polvere. Nella camera era presente puzza di fogna. Colazione scarsissima … Fedeback fornito alla signora proprietaria del B&B la quale si scusava per l’inconveniente spiegando che il brutto tempo genera puzza di fogna. Il soggiorno non ha generato il confort atteso rispetto il costo e rispetto le recensioni.
