Guest Reviews
- Hendra (10/5): - During check-in, a friendly staff welcomed us at the entrance and helped us to carry our 4 luggages up stairs. Thank you.
- Nuryati (10/5): - my biggest like was the breakfast.
- NURYATI (10/5): - good staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): 2
- Sutji (8/5): - It was overall a good place to stay but there is no elevator in this hotel, it’s hard to carry heavy luggages
- Pinga123 (6/5): Convenient for a night at the airport - Very friendly staff and there was even a personalized, handwritten welcome card in the room from the staff. No elevator. Room was clean with some complementary water which was nice. The bathroom needs some touch ups and a shower curtain might not be a bad idea either. Otherwise, good hotel, if one night needs to be spent at the airport. The skytrain is in walking distance.
- Melchianus (4/5): - Niet goed geholpen met inchecken
- Luis Ernesto (6/5): - Expensive comparing what you receive. Bed uncomfortable and tiny room, it is fine to stay one night if you have a morning flight. It has a good location, but there are other options which could be better.
- JUAN E (2/5): Never stay here - Ok this hotel it is hole in the ground no windows not light very very small and so hard to find if you arrives in terminal 3 you have move to terminal 1 is so hard to find trasportacion to 1.30 hours to get yo terminal 1 to 3 at 3 am
- SHINSUB (8/5): - Clean and cozy
- Anthony (2/5): What a dump. - No lift to reception . Only many stairs. Room tiny . Dreadful over sized pillows. Crazy hot thick bedding. Shower drain totally blocked flooded bathroom. Nothing was done except 1 extra towel provided. Never stay there again.
- Craig (2/5): Worst ever - Air conditioning not working.
No lift 31 steps to room
Repair starts to take air cond apart to try and fix and all i wanted was to sleep. Checked in after midnight.
This was after being svammed at yhe airport .being chsrged $55 au for visa i did not need as an Australuan passport holder. And no card payments available.
- Grant (6/5): - It's a layover hotel, it's as expected
- Alan (2/5): - The room was so hot and AC doesn't work.
- Ulf (10/5): - Great staff!
- Charles (6/5): - The room in the photo is deceiving. Our room HS a 1 foot perimeter around the bed to tightly squeeze and walk around. The staff was nice the the room was quiet.
- gluttonious (2/5): deceitful practice - i booked for a room thru agoda, once i got there i was given a freaking arm chair, that doesnt even recline, and a nightstand they called it a "table" with one power point that is too high up on the wall to be useable. wifi was really snailish and slow. no shower facilities either.
the front desk accused me to edit the booking confirmation, while i was there standing in front of her, showing her the said booking confirmation that clearly showed photo of a room, instead of a freaking arm chair.
very freaking disgusting business practice, playing loophole bordering to fraudulent scam.
- BrentMeersman (6/5): Don’t count on getting and sleep - Don’t count on getting any sleep unless you’re one of those lucky people who can sleep in a railway station. Paper thin walls. It just takes one inconsiderate guest, as I had, TV on too loud right through the early hours.
The polite, kind and helpful staff are of course unable to enforce what I’d think should be basic house rules for a place where the primary purpose is for travelers with long haul flights, awkward transits and awful flight times to catch some sleep.
How about some signs up? Shhhh, Quiet please - tired travelers sleeping here, thank you ?
Ssst, Tenang tolong
Pelancong yang lelah tidur di sini
Terima kasha
WiFi is also inexcusably bad for an airport hotel
- roaming-renegades (6/5): Well located for the airport with train nearby. Ok for an overnighter. - We stayed here for two nights having got stuck in the country due to Corona and needing to make sure we caught our flight out of Jakarta. We chose it for the location close to the airport so we wouldn't have to go into the city at a time like this. The location is great, even though we were mostly in T3 the airport train is right there and there are shops close by. The room isn't too bad and was clean, staff were helpful and the breakfast was surprisingly tasty.
Room was pretty small with no window, one could easily have been added with a curtain or higher up as the room went right out onto a corridor with windows! There was also a strange smell in the corridor at times. Breakfast was small but can't really complain for free and it tasted nice! Wifi wasn't great either and phone signal too wasn't the best. It is also a little hard to find and the entrance and sign is so small!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - A room with no windows. Bigger than a pod but not much more comfortable
- ALLYJACKLV (10/5): TRAVELING SOLO (female) IN DECEMBER AND JANUARY - I arrived in Jakarta (CGK) at 2:00 am. Thankfully I had help getting me to the shuttle to d'prima hotel (great place) inside the airport located in terminal 1A. Nice people I met on plane helped me. You can take a cab but i was leary not knowing language so people i met put me in a huge SUV which was pricey to go a few miles with traffic and i was inside terminal. If you can figure it out just take a cab. I was just a little leary being my first time and not speaking the language. The d'prima airport hotel looked like it was closed but OPEN glass doors to hotel! You must go upstairs to lobby. I had luggage and on the side of the stairs there is solid concrete to roll luggage up. I got my room and it was small but clean and staff great. i had to be up early to get to batik air. Had a nice cappacino and croissant next morning which was included in stay. Leave early even to get to next terminal as there is traffic and their free hotel shuttle can be delayed. I did get to terminal -BATIK AIR and then had to deal with my luggage and their system being "down." I will not fly LION GROUP (Batik Air) again unless you have just a back pack. I was meeting friends on a private boat so i was bringing supplies. Site when booking is confusing when booking on their baggage "allowances". Same problem on my exit with them. Was charged outrageously for my overage. Be aware when you book them. I would use a travel agent if i did it again with this airlines.
I had a flight to the island of Sulawesi and they changed my flight a couple of times. I think they were trying to fill their flights and combine them. it was supposed to be direct but they stopped in makassar (UPG). Layover there and in and out of trams to terminal and wrong plane. Finally made it to Luwuk located on Sulawesi.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Best bet if you need to stay right by the airport. - The location right at the airport is great and the room is very basic, no windows but clean. Staff are friendly. The walls are paper thin and I could hear our next door neighbour's phone vibrate in their room. Also pretty sure there are rodents running around inside the walls/ ceiling - I couldn't sleep one bit.
- Verified traveler (2/5): -
- 15hanss (4/5): Service problem - Clean room, broken toilet.. no helper to take our bags to second floor (my bag is heavy) also no helper to take down bag when checkout also, no elevator and no escalator, and a tiny room with a tiny bed
- Verified traveler (6/5):
- thirdylopez (8/5): Suitable for overnight stay - Our flight arrived at 11pm and our next flight was at 8am so we opted to book at this hotel. It was just ok. The space is small and you need to call reception when you want hot water. They provide your necesities - a nice bed to sleep on, toiletries, cool enough aircon and TV for relaxation. Breakfast is a piece of Roti O pastry paired with coffee or tea. You may have it at the lobby or ask them to prepare to take away. Easy to find. Just ride the skytrain and walk to Terminal 1a.
- SEUNG CHUL (2/5):
- jairusm (4/5): Walls Paper Thin - First, when you first come in room there is a big step down. It is well marked, but if you were not paying attention when you first came in you would fall and bust your ass. Second, the walls were paper thin, you could not talk in normal tone without disturbing neighbor. Who wants to have to whisper in their hotel room. Next time, I will stay out of airport.
- virva (8/5): Lentokenttäterminaali sijainti= palvelut lähellä. - Yllättävän hyvä kokemus. Hieman kuului tv:n tms ääniä välillä muttei pahasti häirinnyt. Voin suositella.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is perfect for transiting passengers.
My main grumble is that the 'free shuttle' is clearly dependent on their mood. First I was told it didn't exist, then I was told there would be one but only very early in the morning.
My stay was brief, at less than six hours, but during that time I had to ensure drilling next door (random), rats running along the ceiling above, and someone being loudly sick twice in the wee hours. Not exactly a comfortable stay but it did the job.
No window in my room. Decent shower.
- Verified traveler (4/5): -
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Heather (6/5): Good enough - It worked for catching up on sleep after long travel - dark and quiet. I am 5’3 so I fit in bathroom ok but I don’t think anyone taller then me would have been able too.
It was a bit pricy if you only plan on sleeping - but it was convenient location at terminal 1a.. I did take a taxi because plane was delayed and I arrived 2am and was told train between terminals no longer runs that late.
- Verified traveler (6/5): -
- John (2/5): - Terrible hotel. Overpriced single room. Aircon on freezing cold with no control. No Wi-Fi.
- WYNN (8/5): - Check-in was fuss free. Room was adequate for a short stopover.
- 622markus (2/5): oh my god never more - the room is very small, the bathroom is very small. Don^t have a window. Don^t have a lift. Very expensive! for the half price you can get a hotel near the airport with airport transfer. One time one night and that is enough for one life
- GarryWombats (2/5): Not even for 1 night - Staff was quite friendly and the location at the Terminal 1 is great.
But: The aircon cannot be adjusted, but it's managed centrally. Temperature was set really cold, so sleeping was only possible with jacket and socks by listening to the loud aircon noise.
The rooms and toilet are tiny, without window, like in a jail.
Not recommended, better drive a few minutes to get to a more convinient hotel.
- littlemeim (8/5): Not bad - My first experience here. Not bad i'd say. Bit worried by the previous reviews. However, the fact is not as bad. The room is clean, towels smells good and clean. Simple aminities provided. Nice service from the staffs. Good simple breakfast which is some varieties of roti O breads and coffee. My only concerns are no escalators or elevators while the stairs i cant say its short. And no AC per room. Its centralized. Although is being helped by a exhaust fan but still feel too cold for me.
Overall, for me its ok enough to be a transit hotel for 1-2days stay so i will give 4 stars this time :)
- ValentiC (4/5): Dysfuntional and not as convenient as seems - Previously we had stayed at another hotel in the d'Prima chain at another airport and it was very convenient to take the flight soon because when you have a flight leaving soon you appreciate being able to sleep, shower and breakfast without having to get up several hours before your flight. flight.
Therefore that our flight left at 3.10 am and we had to check-in at 1.30 am, we decided to book this hotel that was in the same terminal A1.
The first problem we found is that the reception is on the first floor without a lift and without bell service to help travelers with luggage (something more than foreseeable in a hotel inside the airport, right?)
The room was correct and silent as we wished, but the problem came for the breakfast that was included in the price of the room: they indicated that at the time we had to check-out there was no breakfast service.
Right next to the reception there was the cafeteria with buns, so, as in our room was a coffee ketle (but only 1 coffee bag for 2 people), we asked them to provide us with another coffee bag and a couple of buns to take away .
There the terrible dilemma began: they had to consult the manager ...
From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm we had to go for 3 times to reception to ask please again for another coffe bag (I did not understand that if the reservation was for two people they could only give us a single bag of coffee instead of two) and that it would be so difficult to give us permission to take the two buns that were directly opposite.
Finally and after 2 precious hours of sleep lost, the manager (who did not appear at any time although I explicitly requested to see him) agreed to our request and we were able to go to bed.
I put a complaint in writing at reception and days later we received an email apologizing.
- meryli29 (6/5): It was ok - We stayed at the hotel for one night in between flights.
We had ordered the shuttle bus service and we agreed we will send them an email when we arrived at the airport. We did but it took them more than 50 minutes and two additional phone calls to come to pick us up.
We also used the shuttle bus again next morning but then it worked perfectly.
We got a room in the ground floor with no windows but the room and bathroom were clean and had some complimentary details.
For breakfast they gave us a tea and a cake which was very tasty.
- AndyBallasb (6/5): Basic but ok - It’s a transit hotel - so not surprising rooms are the size of a double bed with 30cm all around. They are clean & air conditioning works.
They give small travel toiletries and tea/coffee making.
So if you are in transit & need a bed for those few hours - then fine.
It’s easy to miss though. It’s on the terminal side but is but a small door & sign - so be careful.
- hanschristiang2017 (8/5): Suitable for spending a night in the airport - The hotel is conveniently located at the front of terminal 1a of Jakarta airport. Staff is very polite and helpful. The room is small but has everything you need. The airport restaurants are near. Price for this quality and location ok. If you need to spend a night in the airport without hassle, this is the place.
- arianiratridewi (8/5): Just Perfect - My flight was badly delayed so I got to this hotel at 2 am and yet the receptionist lady were so bright & cheerful & doesn’t show any sign of sleepiness. That alone already ease my tiredness.
And the room was so cute, I wish my own boarding room was like this ! It held the standard of general hotel room, not reduce it because its just for transit. The bed is soft & comfy with two pillows small & big, complimentary tea&coffe and water heater with big capacity & working good, the bathroom is clean & well maintained, with soap&shampoo dispenser so no need to open my travel bag, bathroom mat & roll tissue, folded. Cute amenities bag. Kiblat pointer is also provided, &bag, &room sandals, big flat screen TV with HBO-Fox-Waku-waku & national channels, everything jussssttttt like real hotel.
In short, for me it was like an oasis that night. Will surely come again next time I have to transit overnight.
- Marcelo (4/5): "Room with a view", seriously? - Orbitz room options lists "room with a view". I didn't get the joke. The room has no windows. This is not an option for the claustrophobic... You have to be extremely tired and pass out to not be bothered by the lack of a window.
The location is convenient for the the Domestic Terminal only. If you flying internationally, there are other hotel options close by the airport. Staying at the Terminal 1A will require a shuttle or taxi to the international terminal. If you gonna have to use a shuttle anyway, may as well go to a better room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is convenient for stopovers. The water power for the shower was very week. Took me 20 minutes to take a simple shower!
- emily (10/5): Nice hotel for a night or 3 days close to everythi - Room clean, 5min walking distance to station, buses, taxi, shops
- Susanto-Asman (6/5): Hotel lobby very narrow - Lobby hotel is narrow. The air filter for smoking area not working properly. Needing concern and improvement.
A good option to stay, for transfit flight, and meeting point. Even some weakness and improvement needed to give a better service.
- agoesrian96 (8/5): Every is almost perfect - I always came when did travel in jakarta before come back to bali. Always keep maintance cleaning for room. Staff also always helpfull. Small entrance but they help for lugage. Even i got problem with tv in our cabin but engineer come asap for fix it ! Superb see u next trip
- Holly (6/5): Fit the purpose - We were traveling through Jakarta airport from Singapore to Pangkalan Bun and needed somewhere to crash for a few hours. I think we actually only spent 4.5 hours in the room and just slept and had a quick shower. For what we need it was perfect. Relatively easy to find and the check in process was quick and easy so we could just head to our room and sleep.
- 118celestinep (6/5): It's okay for transit - Room is no window, stayed at #209. Bathroom is clean with simple amenities and cute wraping. Towel is good. checked in almost 01:00 am and want to check out early feel like stay in box (ops..sorry).
Hair on bed, ah!
Staff and security okay, helpfull
Cafe at lobby corner
- Fernando (8/5): Great hotel for an overnight transfer at CGk - I used this hotel for an overnight transfer at CGK. Location is perfect for that, just off terminal 1A, the door is a bit difficult to find.
The room is small and have no windows, but AC and it was clean amd tidy.
Great place for a quick transfer avoiding Jakarta traffic, but the hotel is very fuctional, don't expect any fancyness
- Kirk (4/5): Only option we had - No windows, felt like jail cell, no control of climate in the room, AC was very loud. Half of tv channels didn’t work, were frozen or just unavailable. Very friendly staff. 50,000 rupiah ($3.50) room deposit was ridiculous. Not a problem, just seemed useless. What was that even for?
- Amir (10/5): Perfect airport stay - Great convenient stay at the airport
- Dan (10/5): Cheap but comfortable - We stayed here because of a long layover. We wanted a private room, a shower, and a bed. This hotel provided just that. It is very inexpensive in relation. This is not a vacation hotel but a quick stop location. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water was warm. That is what we needed. If you keep your expectations low they will surpass it.
- Dylan (6/5): It works - no windows. comfy beds. clean-ish. works for a very short stay
- Song Lei (4/5): Not satisfied with the Room - My room so many Ants in the wall, unlucky at that night all room full from Hotel can't change another's room to me, I have to go outside for awhile for pesticides my room
- Peter (4/5): Airport Hotel - Terminal 1 - Very late (earlly?!) check in handled by apparently very junior, inexperienced agent. I made a mistake with check in date (booking made for the day earlier because of very early morning arrival) - no credit given, full rack rate charged even though I arrived at 02:00
Got to room, nice and clean enough, but then had to wait another 10mins for desk clerk to come and show me how to turn off lights. Switches extremely well hidden under bedside cabinets - no notes or instructions.
Following morning, no wake up call and shower cold - no hot water. On check out, told desk clerk who said 'very sorry'. Didn't stay to check out 'breakfast'
There is only one justification to stay in this hotel - because you cant get to the one located at Terminal 2.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It will do if you absolutely need to stay at the airport. Hotel itself is a bit dingy, but the staff is nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room not in very good condition - Not very good value for money by Indonesian standard. Room not in very good condition, bed is narrow and not comfortable.
- Liang (8/5): It is ok for passing one night - It is a economic choice of staying airport over night room is clean and just foot step away from the free shuttle bus drop off point, there is small super market and food court.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Transit hotel - it has all you need and expect from airport transit hotel. Clean and comfy although the main Central AC could be a bit too noisy. Location wise it is perfect, at arrival area at T1A sharing same access as Angkasa Pura 2 office.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient but a bit disappointing - The location is great, of course, and the hotel looked clean at first glance but there was a slight pungent smell that I couldn't get used to. Overall I'm happy I stayed, rather than sleeping in the airport lobby, but this place could be cleaned up quite a bit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location. You can use free shuttle bus just front of the hotel so that you can easily move to the other terminals every 10 minutes!
- mike (4/5): Handy for very short stop over - Situated at terminal 1A. Handy if all you want is to get your head down for a few hours during a short stop over. You gwt what you paid for. Staff helpful and polite.
- Farheen (2/5): Stay out of this hotel - Very bad exp. Its a hostel. Room as small as a closet, no windows, no elevator had to climb 3 furs w luggage. No AC, just non working fan, so called breakfast is just a bun with black coffee no cream. Only sugar. Dirty towels and sheets.
