My room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a nice variety to start the day. It’s also a great choice for families, with a safe and accommodating atmosphere. I stayed here both upon arrival and before my return flight, and it was the perfect choice for both occasions. Highly recommend!

Front desk gave us a free upgrade to a family room when we checked in as a family of three without us asking. Free shuttle to the airport. We had to depart at 5am to catch a 8am flight. Staff was considerate enough to pack a light breakfast togo bag for everyone which was beyond our expectation. Onsite laundry was convenient and easy to use. Room was very clean and spacious. Good shower head. Plenty of dining choices minutes walking from hotel. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely stay again next time passing through Shanghai
• Lindsay (6/5): - Room was fine for one night. Hallway is dank and it’s nearly impossible to drag your luggage down the hall to and from your room because of the carpeting. It was pouring when I arrived and when I left and the entrance does not have a roof so you’re bound to get soaked.
• Min (10/5): - We stayed at this hotel both when we arrived in and departed from Shanghai. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are extremely helpful. One great bonus is the free laundry room, which was very convenient. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which is a big plus.
• Ying (2/5): - Zero sound insulations. You can hear people getting up to catch plane all throughout the night. The whole facility, including the hallway and inside the rooms, smell of cigarette. Shuttle to the airport is only once per hour, so basically I saved no time by staying here.

• Asma (8/5): - We arrived late due to flight delay and stayed a max 5 hours. The lady at reception was not very welcoming and very blunt and sharp- although I did consider we arrived at 1am. Room was clean and spacious but the water/shower was very loud when running. Great airport shuttle service on the hour and due to an early checkout and flight before breakfast start time- a brown bag was packed with bread and milk. Only one elevator. Conveniently located near the airport however the name of the hotel was not found/available on didi which was a struggle as we came from the other Shanghai airport 1.5hrs away.

• A (10/5): Overnight stop for Airport - All staff very help full, airport to hotel shuttle worked extremely well, they sent me the timings and pick up point straight after booking and you just turn up there. Breakfast very good. Transfer back to airport in morning great
• Qiongyan (10/5): - I had a late arrival, touching down around 2:30 AM, and was so relieved that this hotel offered airport transportation, making my journey to the hotel seamless even at that hour. Check-in was quick and efficient, despite the late time. The staff were incredibly helpful and a real highlight of my stay. Their English communication was excellent, which was greatly appreciated. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again if I need an airport hotel in the area. Highly recommended!

I wasnt sure what i would get however i cant wait to visit again, The buffet breakfast was very authentic and the pork pineaple wow is all i can say , transport from airport and back 24 hours and to Disney daily all included , laundry all modern and the shower was great, I have paid tripple the price on the Gold Coast Australia and this runs rings around them.

• hector (10/5): - Starting with the neighborhood, it has very convenient shops, 24 hours pharmacy, restaurants, it is located 3km from lingkong metro station, following with the staff, very friendly and there is not such thing as language barriers since they will try to their very best to understand and accommodate your needs. The facilities are always clean and also offers a nice breakfast plus transportation from and to Pudong airport .

All staff I have met are very friendly and helpful. It’s also worth to mention that they have frequent shuttle service to airport and Disney, so convenient!

• Sonya (8/5): - We booked the hotel for its good rating and accessibility to Shanghai airport. On arrival which was before the official check-in, we already got a room and the receptionist, a young male went above and beyond to help us with transportation to central Shanghai. The hotel isn't very well connected to public transport. It's either 10 minutes by taxi to a metro station or 35 minutes by taxi to central. Also, the hotel doesn't show up on the map if you order a DiDi, the equivalent to UBER. Downloading a Chinese keyboard on the phone made it possible. The room itself was spacious but unfortunately the AC didn't manage to warm it up at all and it was freezing in Shanghai that day and night. For breakfast which was included, a range of dumplings, white and black rice porridge, eggs in a variety, noodles, vegetables and cereals are available. Nothing to write home about it and okay. Wifi was bad and we couldn't do any research. The free airport shuttle bus leaves every hour at 6.05am, 7.05am, etc and takes roughly 30 minutes to Terminal 1. Unfortunately, the receptionist was the complete opposite to our welcoming experience the day before. All in all it was okay, however, due to the bad connectivity to central Shanghai, we wouldn't stay there again.

• ToneHolland (8/5): Pudong and Disneyland - The second part of our stay in Shanghai, we moved to this hotel as it was closer to Disneyland and Pudong Airport. Hotel provides free shuttle buses to both locations. Joyful Yard is a simple hotel but with excellent service. As soon as we entered the hotel, the staff were eager to help us with everything. We had booked a king bed and when the desk staff saw our daughter was with us they were discussing something. Initially I thought they were upset at us, but I was wrong. They were upgrading us to a family room. Language is a challenge but with translators, we managed. The room came with complimentary breakfast. A mix of Chinese and Western dishes. They were perfectly fine and I enjoyed it all 3 days. The free shuttle buses to airport and Disneyland makes it easy to get to those places. Please reserve a day in advance. We asked for some extra water bottles and those were delivered to our room by a robot. As we had "do not disturb" sign on, the robot called our in room phone to alert us he/she was outside. It was a first for me. Our room was face the road in front of the hotel and I saw earplugs were provided in the room. But there absolutely no need for any earplugs. It was very quiet and we all slept well. We had a nice stay at you property. Thank you and kind regards.

There were noisy roadworks outside our room and they upgraded our room from a double to family room away from the noise so we could get a nap during the day. Loved it.

After an hour, still couldn’t get a taxi from the app. One of the Staff was willing to use her account to call. The room size is good. Bed is comfy. The hotel logo is on the cups, tissues box,.. very unique. Many restaurants and massages spas but seldom shopping places.

• Stefanie (10/5): - The property itself was lovely. Both our room and the hotel itself were immaculately cleaned by housekeeping daily. The lobby staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary washing/dryer machines available on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle to Disneyland departs only once a day though. The only downside to this hotel was the surrounding area; however, this is of personal opinion. As someone from the West, the surrounding area can be a little bit of a cultural shock at first.
