Guest Reviews
- georgecG4295JC (10/5): Worth it - Reception, restaurant staff were all lovely and helpful, especially Gabby Samadg. Hotel slightly worn
- philmB461JG (10/5): Would stay again - Very good location to stay for London trips, staff were polite and the restaurant was kept clean and tidy by Gabby who looked after us at breakfast time. Will be staying again.
- semseib (10/5): Ripa - Great service !well done😉😉
- 903stephs (10/5): Thanks to Gabby and Samad for wonderful service in the cafe this morning. Gabby couldn't do enough for me at breakfast this morn - A great location for visiting The Tower of London. Clean rooms and good service.
- 471aitanag (10/5): Very fine - Gabby, Hayat and Samad were very friendly and they helped us a lot.
We are grateful becouse of their attention.
- JonesDE10 (10/5): Travelodge good - Ripa excellent! - Ripa really adds an extra welcome - nothing is too much trouble.
You know you will have a clean room and what to expect from a Travelodge: Ripa takes the time to ensure your stay is as good as it can be - thank you!
- karimaS1927YB (10/5): Clean, spacious and a decent breakfast - Clean, spacious room and smart, tidy common areas. The atmosphere was friendly with a warm greeting and an attentive breakfast service. Nothing was missing from the buffet and the food was well prepared.
- Lazylad (8/5): Value for money - Great location, staff superb friendly, had a real good laugh with the lady serving drinks late Sunday night 22nd March. Likewise tge ladies working in breakfast on 23rd.
Hotel value for money, I'd have given 5, but the bed was so narrow
- 46bismarkk (10/5): Beautiful place to stay while on vocation or visit in London - Perfect location ,siren environment, neat room and top notch cleanliness, just so beautiful place to visit
- Phoebesaff (10/5): Good solid stay - Gabby, Hayat and Nora are all superb!
- 51nathanielw (10/5): Travelodge to the rescue! - I got into London very late at 2 in the morning due to a flight delay so I needed somewhere to stay. Luckily Travelodge had a free room which was very nice. The breakfast buffet was just what I needed. Highly recommended especially if you need somewhere to book last minute!
- naomiwS8833WW (8/5): Really glad we chose this - We booked two super rooms for two nights. Pros:
- staff lovely, doesn’t feel like a busy city hotel but a friendly place to stay
- super rooms have good wifi and all facilities working and decent
- good coffee machine
- good shower (no bath, I quite like a bath option tbh)
- we booked breakfast and dinner, so it was basically like a package holiday allowing us to focus on activities and not overspend eating in the city. Breakfast very good. Dinners average. I wouldn’t get dinners if just for me again, but with a teenager it was perfect. Predictable and easy.
- amazing location
- good value for what is basically all inclusive in london!
Cons:
- one room smelt a bit funky, but couldn’t see a reason
- not many dinner options
- henryoB6106QX (8/5): Cool - Service was Satisfactory and was top notch 👌
Customer service ( name Ripa) on the first day of arrival was helpful and commendable.
- Y9916DXhelenm (10/5): Awesome - Denisa did an excellent job with both the pizza and the hot chocolate, I have to say, it’s the best pizza I’ve had in London.
- 554ikechukwua (10/5): Nice service - Lovely experience had a great time
- 540adrianf (10/5): Great hotel - This is an amazing hotel. I was served by Barbora . Barbora is super nice.
- 94anitaq (10/5): Great Visit - The location of the hotel is fantastic for the tube plus other historical sights nearby eg Tower of London & Tower Bridge. The rooms are clean and comfortable with lovely mattresses and bedding. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are very professional and accommodating. The rooms are great value for money especially on a Sunday to Monday basis. I really enjoyed my stay and would like to thank Ripa on Reception and Ali the bar for being so helpful. There is a railway line behind the hotel but I still had a good sleep.
- Explorer816168 (10/5): Weekend getaway - Great location, excellent staff, always use this travelogue when visiting london
- williamdG3576GH (10/5): Gabby and Hayat and Ilona gave amazing service. - Fantastic hotel, great hospitality from Gabby, Hayat and Ilona. Perfect location and breakfast.
- fional395 (10/5): Excellent value - fantastic member of staff called Roman - Great experience and pretty brilliant for the price. Friendly staff - especially Roman who sorted out a minor issue for me.
- Timanfaya (10/5): Friendly and clean - Clean and friendly hotel. Stayed for convenience of being near the train station (although you do hear the trains!).
Very friendly staff, Sabbir, Gabbi and Hayat looked after us well. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and plentiful and the restaurant was spotless with every care being made to make sure we had everything we needed.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again next time we have a night out in London.
- lauradD4100NY (10/5): Great stay - Restaurant was very reasonable and food was lovely. Staff behind the bar were very friendly. Location is great for access to underground
- N9951JBlynnem (8/5): Stay whilst coming to see 'Oliver!' - Nice and handy for tower bridge, the DLR , tower gateway. Nice atmosphere pizzas were lovely, staff great. Thanks to Gabby and Ilona at breakfast. We are staying in a super room but personally I don't like shower curtains and the shower blocked up straight away and took ages to drain. Also very warm in the room. No air con and when the Windows are open it's just too noisy.
- Venture43311391006 (10/5): Welcoming and friendly. - Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. Service with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel is always well kept and the rooms are clean. We’ve been back many times and never been disappointed.
- ValerieP1133 (2/5): The worst night I ever spent in a hotel - I had read the reviews mentioning the noise and this is why I had picked a room facing the street and at the end of the corridor.
I have lived next to a railway track and, more recently, near an airport but this is another level. It was like Silverstone was outside the window!!! I do not understand why, as the street does not appear to be particularly busy and it did quieten down in the early hours - when you have to get up. Don't make the same mistake. Pick a different location.
- 787seagullr (10/5): Amazing staff - Really nice time at this hotel, lovely staff at breakfast especially Gabriela and Hayat
- Aynes90 (8/5): Work trip - The location was perfect to get to where I needed to be during this trip. Room was noisy as facing the train line but otherwise ok. Breakfast was lovely.
- daisyrF237VN (10/5): Lovely staff - We were served in the bar by Barbora. She’s such a lovely person. Very friendly and bubbly. We are hoping to see her again when we will return. Thank you for an amazing experience.
- 497dieterp (10/5): All you need for a budget, nice Inner-City stay - The hotel is a simple, but clean and well organized place. The location is perfect and all runs well.
I particularly have to mention Gabby serving at the Breakfast Area. Sh should work in a 5-Star Restaurant. She took extra care and was outstanding with service and friendliness. Thank you!
- E9369LOglenh (6/5): Good location but hotel could be improved with a bit more thought and a few basic adjustments. - Best Points - Staff were friendly, location was great for DLR and an easy walk from London Bridge station. Soundproofing was excellent, considering it was next to a busy main road, was not disturbed by any noise. Pizza and beer were good. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable for the price with good service.
Bad points - accessible room was huge but very sparse with two beds squeezed into the corner, a small desk, couple of chairs and a small shelf on the wall with a few hangers underneath. The shelf (which was covered in dust) and hangers were too high to reach from a wheelchair, not great in an accessible room! there were no shelves in the bathroom to stand any toiletries. Both the vanity light above the desk and the headboard light were not working, although we did not have time to report this to reception so cannot comment on if this would have been resolved. I would however expect this to have be checked and raised by housekeeping prior to our arrival.
The wheelchair access to the hotel is very poor with a steep concrete ramp to the entrance, obviously thrown in as an afterthought, which was blocked by cars in the disabled bay.
Overall, stay was ok based on the price and location was good for the purpose of our visit.
- samtak2026 (10/5): Very good experience - Breakfast was very good, Hayat Ilona was very kind and prepares delicious breakfast.
- 998truec (10/5): Amazing stay with gr8 breakfast - Nice and stay and amazing breakfast. All staff is very nice and friendly. Special thanks to Hayat ILona
- guillermocY9541OD (8/5): Best value in the city - Location of the hotel is perfect, minutes away from Tower of London and the City, really easy to move around, plenty of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Breakfast there was fine, cheap option to get an full breakfast (bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, toasts, etc), not a lot of pastries available. Room was not noisy at all, something that concerned us, and the blackout curtain worked wonders. The only problem would be that it was small, and got a bit crowded for the three of us, specially with so little space for luggage and clothes. You have to remember they only replace towels and empty bins daily if you remember to hang the tag on your door, and they won't clean or make the beds, it's on you. Bathroom was great, good water preassure and temperature. But the best of it was the staff, Gabby and Hayat were always helpful, same with everyone at reception. We would definitively consider coming back next time we fly to London.
- turtl372 (6/5): Needs more basic wardrobe storage and provisions - Great location for everything. Very close to Tower Hill tube and Tower gateway DLR. We had a room on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel closest to the train lines, but wasn’t disturbed by any noise from them. Great staff. Great choice for breakfast.
Only let down was the room furniture and provisions were very limited. The room had a bed, a desk, a chair and a TV. We were 2 people there for 3 days and had barely anywhere to put our things. There was one shelf that housed the spare pillows and a section for 5 hangers. There was no bedside unit or tables. Just tiny cubby holes that could hold a glass of water or your phone, but not both. No where to put underwear in a drawer etc. If only staying for 1 night not a problem. But for a couple of days a drawer would be nice. Only 2 bath towels and one hand towel provided. Nothing for a bath mat. As women we also needed a towel for our hair. No glasses in the bathroom for a drink of water.
Tea and coffee - 2 tea bags, 2 coffee. So we could either have a tea in the evening or a tea in the morning. Not enough tea bags or milk for 2 people to have 2 drinks without having to traipse back to reception and go get more. when just arrived in the room and had one drink each. Neither of us drink coffee.
No iron, ironing board or hair dryer in the room. Had to go to reception and drag it all back to our room.
We weren’t expecting the ritz. But not a nuns cell either.
- 313phoebep (10/5): Great staff - Gabby and the rest of the staff were very polite and helpful, especially with faults in our hotel room and breakfast. Thank you for your service.
- X6805YNcarolm (10/5): Our short break in London - We stayed here from 13/3/26 until 15/3/26, and l cannot fault anything. The room was clean & tidy as was everywhere else in the hotel. Staff were very attentive and polite. This hotel is in a great position for seeing the many fantastic sites in London. Thank you. Our server was Gabby Hayet, a very nice helpful lady.
- Sightseer32986547725 (10/5): Great localtion - Really nice experience front to end! Great service from checkin to breakfast.
- B2069AMchlo_b (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Lovely experience - very helpful staff - we had a good night’s sleep. Amazing breakfast.
Very welcoming staff - Gabby did an amazing job of making us feel at easy
- Relax101239 (10/5): Repeat stay - This was our second stay at this Travelodge.
Convenient location, good breakfast, and super happy helpful staff. By far one of the nicest London Travelodges we’ve stayed in
- suzieo774 (10/5): Lovely room! Lovely people - I’ve had a good time at Travel Lodge TowerGateway. I stayed in one of the super rooms and it was quiet. I’ve always had breakfast this morning and it was delicious and quite warm.
Gabby and Sabbir were quite helpful during breakfast and thanks to the chef Samad for the meal.
- fandilas2026 (10/5): Amazing stay - Perfect location close to the main places to visit in the city. We felt so welcome in the hotel and they assist us when we needed.
- L4142GPadrianp (10/5): Personal like Gabi, Samad and Sablin super peoples - Beautiful and relaxing
Good food good emplyse
- M214LZsarahw (10/5): Excellent - So close to the railway and heard no trains!!! Really well refurbished
Attentive staff
- S3148RQpd (10/5): Great location and outstanding service! - I stayed here whilst visiting some friends in London. The hotel itself is ok and in a great location.
The stand out for me was the staff, in particularly Barbora. She went out of her way to make sure that my stay was top of the draw. From the time that I arrived until the time I left she was professional and more importantly, very helpful with local information for me, with me never visiting the area before.
Barbora is an absolute asset to Travelodge. Give that girl a raise!!
Thank you again for your outstanding service.
- Stevetarn2014 (8/5): Great location and value - The location is ideal for Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, check in was smooth and the room clean. Overall a good budget option.
- bismarka612 (8/5): Wonderful - Had a wonderful welcoming from Barbora she’s a great lady
- T3394ECbettyr (10/5): Nice service - There’s a very lovely lady on night shift I think her name is Barbora. She was very friendly and bubbly
- K1441ZSnathana (10/5): Another good stay - The stay was good and Ripa was friendly and especially helpful with Check-In and by providing me with an iron and ironing board.
- SYG1244 (10/5): Excellent location excellent price - Staffwere welcoming, friendly and information.
Nothing lacking in the room that one might want.
Shower modern and easily manageable
cafe a welcome surprise
Excellent location and value for money.
- Maps30536373245 (10/5): Not bad at all - Great location and nice staff, can’t complain.
- JMRB1 (2/5): Stroppy staff and false advertising - Location is good, staff are stressed, super room isn't as good as premier inn standard. Premium WiFi is advertised as included, but it isn't, and I had to show the advert to the member of staff to get a code.
It was supposed to be for 2 devices and it wasn't.
I really regret using travelodge and would advise anyone looking for a budget hotel to pay whatever premier inn want
- Tazz008 (8/5): Great Location. - Location was great for where I was working, Roman who was on the reception was very nice and helpful, also Gabby in the restaurant was very nice and polite, will definitely stay here again.
- Jgraha14 (10/5): Great value for money in Central London. Great base for a London weekend break. - Excellent budget hotel. Love the location close to the Tower, Bridge and famous pubs. Wether spoons 50 yards away if you are on a budget
Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms and a beautiful £12.50 breakfast.
Close to Tube and DLR.
You don't have to get ripped off in London.
Great Staff particularly Gabby.
- jamesfP7214HB (10/5): Staying overnight for a birthday - Good friendly staff many thanks to Hayot and Sherin for a fast and prompt service during breakfast.
Check in was quick and easy to do same with check out dropped keycards off in the drop box.
The rooms where clean and tidy
- X9975SWpauld (10/5): Birthday trip - I found the travel lodge very pleasant
Staff Hayat and Denisa polite and friendly too
- susief502 (8/5): City break - Room was great everything you need and very clean,
All the staff were, friendly and very helpful.
Would not hesitate to stay here again
- lukecC4768TR (10/5): Delightful breakfast - Gabby and Sabbin were very friendly and helpful during the breakfast on 26th feb.
- anandmrk2 (8/5): Quick relaxing stay over but WiFi need to be free - Breakfast, food drinks. Warm and hospitable by one key member of staff made my evening. Wish I had WiFi for free to continue my work in the room
- martync914 (10/5): Great overnight stay - Great location, clean rooms, really good hot breakfast. gabby was really helpful about how to pay for breakfast as we hadn't pre booked it and where everything was
- MichellePark (10/5): Great stay in London! - Just stayed at this hotel late January, mid week for 2 nights.
It was a fantastic location, a short walk from the tower of London and the Tower Hill tube station (about 5 minutes).
Check in was a breeze, helpful lady on reception.
We didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on that, but there is a handy Wetherspoons directly across the road which was convenient.
We are 2 women on our own but we felt safe in the surrounding areas, including coming back via tube in the evening and walking back to the hotel.
The room itself was clean and comfy, additional pillows were provided for the bedding and we were facing the rail tracks but the noise didn't keep us awake or disturb us too much.
- 720charlottec (10/5): **Roman offers wonderful customer service** - Roman was very friendly and welcoming and offered addtional support with arranging rooms as we had booked a few. He offered a wonderful service
Thank you
- seanoS1401UG (10/5): Gabby sabbir samad were amazing - Gabby and sabbir and samad where amazing made my experience so welcoming and kind and I have to say the coffee is amazing way better than harrods
- Q8155BUmackenziem (10/5): Gabby - I stayed at the Travelodge for a short trip and overall had a really good experience. The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and main roads/public transport. Check-in was quick and simple, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a basic stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained, with fresh towels provided.
While the hotel is fairly basic, it offers excellent value for money. A few areas could use updating, but nothing that affected the comfort of the stay. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this Travelodge for anyone looking for an affordable, reliable place to stay. The atmosphere was great !
Would stay again!
- 410magedf (6/5): Could be better - Very friendly staff specially Gabby and Samad in the restaurant in the morning.
Also Ripa in reception was very helpful and helped me change my room.
Noise levels in the rooms high and windows should be changed to reduce this.
- billyh42 (10/5): Great London location and friendly staff! - Probably the best Travelodge location for anyone visiting London, with easy access to both the Tower Gateway DLR station and Tower Hill Underground station.
Hotel was very clean and all staff were professional and friendly.
Gabby in the restaurant at breakfast was particularly helpful and friendly.
- sarahlN7826UH (8/5): Great stay - Gabby at breakfast was very helpful and friendly checking we were ok and if we needed anything she is a credit to your company
- kellylD8653DV (10/5): Gabby gave amazing service - Gabby in the restaurant was so friendly and helpful she is a credit to your the company and should be recognised for this. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
- Obimona (8/5): Happy, once again, with our stay. - Another stay for us at this Travelodge and once again we were very happy. Only had 2 night-stay this time, and didn't need to have breakfast so can't comment on that.
Our 'super room' on the 4th floor was comfortable and quiet. Staff were lovely as always.
I've given it a 4-star, rather than my 5-star review this time, mainly because of the shower curtain - if only the pole it ran along didn't dip, it would probably be possible to have a shower without a fair bit of water spilling on to the bathroom floor. And also there was a less-than-new smell from at least one of my pillows. I'm sure if I'd requested new pillows that would have been dealt with, but it wasn't such an issue that I felt I needed to bring it to the attention of the staff given that we were only staying for 2 nights.
We used the 'choose room' option and chose a street-facing room because they've been quiet before, and on the plan, they looked slightly bigger than the rooms facing on to the railway (maybe we just imagined that?), but next time we would choose a railway-facing room because we actually like looking down on to the trains.
- israelj909 (10/5): Great service - Amazing breakfast. Gabbi, Sabbir, Samad and Kamilla were very kind and helpful, amazing team. Many thanks. Great quality.
- dena007 (10/5): Great location for both tube & DLR - This is our 2nd stay at Travelodge Tower Bridge. We chose it for location, plus the price was very good. Stayed 3 nights in a 'super room' , the only difference i could see was having a coffee maker & 2 kitkats left for us.
Ripa was very efficient at checking us in.
Location is excellent, a few mins walk to Tower Bridge subway & DLR.
Tower of London just a few minutes walk away.
There's 2 Weatherspoons within 5 min walk, handy for breakfast, plus a Co-Op store opposite the hotel.
Room was ok, bed comfortable, bathroom clean, could have done with softer pillows but that's my preference .
On this occasion, we didnt use the bar or restaurant. We did pop our heads in to look at the menu one evening but there were no other people in there, no ambiance so didn't stay.
At reception, there are supplies of extra milks & tea should you need.
Reasonably quiet, lifts to every floor. We didn't have any housekeeping at all? Not sure why not but not overly bothered for a 3 night stay.
Felt safe walking from tube back to hotel late at night, will definitely stay here again
- katiemE4471SY (10/5): Nice food good host - Had some lovely dinner - light bites, simple but nice - Ali was a fantastic host!! Thanks so much! A smile with the service is always appreciated!
- Traumatised444 (2/5): Unsafe - We stayed here on the 24th January 26. Violent incident in the reception led to lots of police activity and noise. Police presence making reception / bar / breakfast area unusable the next morning during clean up and police investigation. No update or reassurance from staff, leaving us to deal with traumatised kids....
- trevorw673 (8/5): Basic but good... - Had only ever stayed in a Travel Lodge once before. But the price for 1 night (£109.99) for 2 adults was good for a last minute trip to central London. Easy to find 3 minutes walk from Tower Hill Station. Basic amenities but spot on with what they do here. Room was ok, good shower and comfy bed. Bit noisy in the corridors but luckily had a room the other side from the railway line. Reception and restaurant staff (Gabby) very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice, couldn't ask for more for the price paid. Would definitely return if on a budget.
- 643coralier (10/5): Ripa rules! - Ripa on reception was outstanding, so friendly and helpful and she made our stay extra special. She was helpful with requests and made the checking in process very easy
- S6807BJsb (10/5): January stay - Stayed here in Jan 2026. It's a 5-10 min walk from local underground, Tower Bridge, and we found it easily. We were checked in by Ripa, who was so lovely and welcoming. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. They have a bar reception open 24 hours. Recommend the pizzas that were freshly made and tasty. There's a coop and a starbucks close by too.
- pantelist2026 (10/5): Customer Service at Travelodge London Bridge - I was very impressed with the service offered by Gabbi, Sabbir and Samad.
They are very hard working and go the extra mile.
- MGaneshIyer (8/5): Great Location at the heart of the city, very affordable! - Small, could have more space, but very neat and comfortable.
The mattress seems quite old and have pits here and there which made sleep a little uncomfortable.
The breakfast buffet was good too and offers standard buffet items. (Bread, Pancakes, croissant, bagels, vegan and meat sausage sausages, scrambled eggs, mushroom mushrooms, steamed tomatoes, baked beans, choice of coffee, choice of juices, choice of granola/cornflakes, plain and flavoured yoghurts, fresh fruits, berry compotes). The staff Gabby and Sabbir were very proactive in refilling all the stations and very promptly cleaned up the table. Very cheerful, very welcoming.
- 678deano (10/5): Friendly staff - Very friendly staff. Especially Gabby and sablin. Very helpful and could not do enough for me and my family during stay there
- F2674YPsallyd (10/5): Very good value - Clean, tidy room. Basic but all we needed. Comfortable beds, warm and quiet overnight.
Comprehensive buffet breakfast, nice to set us up for the day. Waiting staff gabby and sabbir were very welcoming and attentive.
- keith_tech58 (8/5): Re parking - Web page suggests Paking is available at hotel but its not there are only two disabled bays for blue badge holders, closest parking facility charge an average of £5.50 per hour so worth factoring in the same before booking.
- JohnM13891 (10/5): New Year’s Eve stay. Very enjoyable no problems - Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. Close to Tower Hill and tube. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choice. Restaurant staff helpful. Gabby Samad very polite
- anwitam2026 (10/5): a good stay with fantastic staff - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with any requests and offering great local recommendations.
The location was ideal, making it easy to commute to nearby places. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh and high-quality options. Overall, the hotel offered great value for money and made my trip even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.
- 614ioanap (10/5): Good value for the money - Good value for the money during my stay in the hotel, good value breakfast too for what you get in Central London, Gabby and Samad were very kind and attentive.
- soniamV6847WM (10/5): Ripa attention - Excelent service, and Ripa was great and kindly. Excelent location …………………………… I love it ……………………………………………………………..
- C5163TKsergios (10/5): Perfect hotel to visit London - Muy family and me stayed two nights at this hotel. The triple room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is near from public transporte (bus and underground) that's why the location is good. The breakfast is complete. The staff is lovely, specially Hayat who helps us during the breakfast. Definitely, we would repeat.
- 70manmeetg (8/5): Wonderful experience while staying at Travelodge - Good food , clean rooms and hospitality by staff was upto the mark - All the staff members were very polite and welcoming. They were always there to help with any issues. I really liked the way one of the staff members - HAYAT hosted us throughout our stay. They way she performed her duties and made sure that we feel at home was appreciable. Hope to visit London again and meet all the lovely people at the Travelodge again.
There was only one issue - The Heating system in room 130 stopped working at night. However the cold was manageable , so it's not that bad.
- bhagyas60 (10/5): Nice - Hayat- nice experience- …….. xxx xx……….. ………………………………………..,…………………………………………good ambeience. Breakfast was tastier
- tinkrupa (10/5): Superb customer service service! - Very nice location. Food is great and staff are friendly and accommodating.
Hayat is very accommodating and so kind to my autistic son. She always give kitkat everytime we finish breakfast.
Will return in the future.
- Traveler31601923373 (10/5): december review - The trip was very good, we feel safe.
Thanks to Hayat who was kind during breakfast and make it enjoyable.
I recommand the hotel.
- Wander14368487714 (10/5): My favorite London Hotel - Ripa was great! My coffee was wonderful and my pizza was delicious! 24 hour pizza. Definitely a benefit! I always stay at this hotel when in London. Close to everything.
- moncefm939 (10/5): Excellent service - Ripa was serving breakfast she was very helpful we had exvellent service the food wasabsolutely beatiful. The hotelstaff was amazing
- Venture67572139024 (8/5): Good value - Good value clean accommodation
Good service at reception
Convenient location close to Tower of London snd Aldgate tube
- jaysL3205NZ (10/5): A beautiful, warm & welcoming breakfast host whose positive energy radiated across the room - thank you Hayat x - Breakfast this morning was made genuinely lovely thanks to the wonderful lady (Hayat) working the breakfast service. She was warm, welcoming, helpful and kind — the sort of person who instantly puts you at ease and starts your day on a high.
What really stood out was watching her interact with every guest. Young, old, families, solo travellers — she gave everyone the same warmth, patience and genuine care. She has a natural, positive energy that radiates around the room and lifts the whole breakfast service.
She clearly takes real pride in her role and goes above and beyond without it ever feeling forced. I told her at the time that she was fantastic at her job — and as a publican myself, I can honestly say that if I could have her working at my pub, I’d be a very happy one indeed.
Staff like her are a real asset and make all the difference to a guest’s experience.
Five stars without hesitation.
- 966philippar (10/5): Great hotel for exploring - Clean and tidy.
Next to a lovely lively bar, but can’t be heard inside the hotel.
Next to the tube station, so good for travelling, can be a little noisy if you are that side of the hotel.
We walked back from the Shaftesbury theatre, which took about an hour but was lovely along the river.
Very close walking distance to
Sky gardens
Wetherspoons
London tower
London tower bridge
Horizon22
War of the world experience
The shard
Borough market
