• Miranda (10/5): It was exceptional. - It was easy to collect the keys and drop off. The establishment is in a close vicinity to the shops and restaurants. The beach is also just a 5 minutes walk. Nothing really, we loved everything about the place.

• Masidikwe (8/5): Very good - The apartment is so beautiful, it's relaxing and close to everything. I was expecting to meet the host and get to be shown around. We were not aware that there's a gate going out to the beach until on the last day, so if we had received a tour sort of it was going to be easy, nevertheless the place is breathtaking we will definitely come back.

• Graham (6/5): Comfortable but multiple disturbed nights will impact our repeat bookings - Good position and comfortable When we first stayed at the Oysters one could only rent for a minimum week - but it appears that short stays are now common and these tend to attract groups that party until the early hours of the morning disturbing residents and longer term renters - will impact our choice in the future after many stays in the past

• Khalied (6/5): Pleasant location but the apartment needs maintenance - Excellent location Linen and towels only get changed after 5days. Pillows are uncomfortably hard. No shower in main bathroom. Extra charge for house keeping to wash dishes with limited cleaning available. Struggled to open the apartment door. Curtains in main bedroom and lounge area tattered and torn. Second bedroom window faces the corridor, can be abit noisy. Carpets in bedrooms had a bad smell.

• Julie (10/5): Great location, well appointed apartment! - Loved the location - convenient for shops and restaurants. The staff on site were all friendly and helpful. The apartment was well appointed and comfortably furnished with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

• Catherine (10/5): Lovely clean and secure apartment close to beach and shops/ restaurants - The property is in the Oyster Box Hotel estate area so really close to the ocean, the view from the balcony was fantastic. Facilities were great and there was plenty of everything. Place was really clean and the information pre-provided was very helpful. Great security and not only close to ocean but a short walk to the main restaurant street. You can easily walk to all places including my the two malls. Nothing.

• Angelique (9/5): Beautiful apartment and ocean view. I recommend the property to visitors seeking accommodation. - The location was fantastic. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The single room - put in dark curtains, opposed to the blinds. The lights outside the apartment / by the lift area, shines through the bedroom, making the room very light. You cannot get dressed in the room, due to people seeing into the room from the lifts area (if the bedroom light is on). Whilst there is an inverter, the light plugged in, could not be used when there was loadshedding. Not sure if there was a problem with it. We had to take a bedside lamp and plug it in, so not to sit in the dark.

Will be back for sure! they also have an inverter which powers some appliances during loadshedding. Only found out about the breakage deposit this time around, after the booking. May have chosen differently as it affected by holiday budget. Limited pots for cooking, but otherwise well resourced.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Umhlanga self catering at its best - The view and location was absolutely fabulous. The cleaning staff was really helpful and friendly. Beach, supermarkets and restaurants were all in walking distance. I will definitely come back.
