• sne (8/5): - I loved the decor and rooms.The patio was lovely for reading my book!Mariaan was a great host, chatty and really tried to make us feel at home. Esthetic was amazing! I would say the rooms need a full length mirror ,an extra blanket on the room.Then a generator for events when load shedding hits just as a backup even through it wasn't for long.
• Ashvira (10/5): - I absolutely love this place! Second time staying here will definitely be back.The views are amazing. Waking up to the sounds of birds and nature is so relaxing. The host Mariaan is such a helpful and pleasant person to talk to . Braai facilities and kitchen facilities are excellent. The room is comfortable and has a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc... They also have WiFi. Parking is easily accessible and safe. My favourite thing to do is sit on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature. The view from the deck at night is stunning 🥰. Definitely a 10/10 for me and I will be coming back ! I had no issues. I liked everything.

• Tinashe (10/5): Comfortable and stylish experience, topped with a great host. - Contemporary styling and fresh feel. Shower experience was top notch! The best part our amazing host in Mariaan! Nothing, to be honest.
• Mbai (10/5): - The guest house is in a beautiful location & it’s very homely. I loved the seating area by the garden. Mariaan was very friendly & helpful.
• Vuyolwetu (4/5): Interesting - The caretaker is a nice lady. The bathroom door almost fell on me twice. I was worried it would eventually break the bathroom mirror 😮‍💨. I reported it to the care taker. They don’t clean the rooms or make up the beds either

• De Clerck (5/5): - Nice location, with a scenic view from the deck. The host was quite invasive, constantly hovering around the property and where we were preparing food and dining. Comminication was sent at 06:00 in the morning and coming to rooms and talking to us while room doors are closed. Rooms were extremely hot, with no fans available.

• Karen LOMBARD (9/5): - The property is easily accessible. The rooms are beautifully decorated and Mariaan the host is kind, helpful and gracious. Rusks at the tea and coffee station in the morning is a nice touch. I loved the patio area to sit outside so I wasn't restricted to being in my room. The pillow are a bit flat and could do with replacement and as a lady traveler I always with B&B's would have a mirror close to a plug point so you can do your hair and make up, but those are tiny details. Overall its a beautiful place

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was finished to a high standard. All efforts were made to supply everything a guest would need. I also like the fact that each room walked out on a patio. Sitting outside and listening to all the birds, were a highlight of our stay. We had to leave at 06:30 the next morning, but the hostess were ready and waiting to let us out. Truly a home away from home! The only negative was the bedside lamps that did not have switches near the bed.

Being surrounded by nature and waking up to the sound of birds was a much needed peaceful retreat for my husband and I.The kitchen was well stocked with all you need. The walk in closet made it easy to store our luggage.The host Mariaan was absolutely friendly and very helpful. The rooms are neat and comfortable. Property is close to shops and restaurants. I will definitely be coming back. The room I stayed in ( number 2) did not have a fan or air-conditioning. I also wish the linen and pillows were slightly better.

• Jax (9/5): We had a lovely stay while visiting the Hilton Arts Festival! - Loved the modern clean look of the interior decor. Electric blankets were a bonus on the chilly nights and Mariaan kindly switched them on before we returned in the evening. :) Although the design is clean and modern, some things are not functional/practical, eg: No switch at the bedside light, no counter for toiletry bags in the bathroom, only double beds - twins would be better to suit more guests.

They must just fix the niggles mentioned herein - The place was clean and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. - The rooms have no heaters, which was unpleasant in winter. There are electric blankets. - The hot water runs out in the morning after a few people have showered. I showered in cold water twice in our five night stay in winter. - The WiFi stopped working in our last night.
• Bryan (8/5): Great stay! - Hilton Guest House is a favourite stop over for us. The location is perfect. Mariaan is incredibly warm and helpful, the owner communicated regularly and are quite responsive to messages. A suggestion would be to add a chair to the rooms

• Sanelisiwe (9/5): Pleasant stay - The pictures here don’t do this place any justice, the place is very beautiful, clean, quiet and peaceful. My room was facing the garden it was very spacious, even had a place inside the room to keep my bags so there was less clutter in my bedroom, smart TV, electric blankets, a cute tea/ coffee station in the room. Kitchen is shared with other guests but you hardly ever feel like to are sharing. Best place to come relax at. It was not their fault but on my check in day, electricity went off which was beyond their control. As someone who is not used to the weather of that area I would love to have a heater in the bedroom I felt obliged to stay in bed cause of the weather.

The kitchen provided everything that is required with a lovely spacious dining room. Being old school i struggled a bid with the TV and could not appreciate it's full potential.

• Rowan (9/5): Comfy, safe and will certainly stay again!! - We didnt have time to really sit and relax, just in and out. Our hostess was absolutely amazing and so kind to us. We left our shampoo behind but she showed me a little emergency box in the kitchen which was a great help when youre stuck without something small but essential. Very very clean and comfortable, with lovely firm mattress, not the bouncy ones :) We felt safe and secure. I thought the neighbours (guests) were speaking quite loudly on sunday morning in the entrance hall, but we needed to get up and go anyway, so it was ok!
